I called John Snyder Plumbing and Heating to fix a leaking toilet. They were able to send someone over that day. Xavier arrived, assessed the situation, explained what needed to be done, told me the cost and asked if I approved it before any work started. He did have to go get the parts, but returned within an hour, repaired the toilet, showed me the work, and made sure I was satisfied before he departed. Overall a great experience. Thanks Xavier!

I called late on a Thursday they quoted Tuesday, then showed up on a Tuesday. Job was for toilet replacement. Had to haggle the price as what they quoted me to start with was much higher than what the other two places had but they matched to do the job. I did not ask them to do disposal but Xaiver the plumber who came out assisted me at least getting the old toilet into the box. He cleaned up after himself didnt mess up anything in the home. Only star marked off is for the fact I haggle the price down.

We are getting our kitchen worked on and had a leak in the kitchen that went down to our family room and needed service immediately. Xavier was the Plumber that came to our home this morning. He came on time and we were so impressed with him. Not only is he an excellent worker and has great knowledge of the Plumbing system he was extremely pleasant . I called Wednesday afternoon for a toilet, bidet seat and vanity/sink faucet install for my powder room. They Offered free estimate for the next day at 830am with Xavier C. He came promptly, walked me through the estimate, and was courteous and respectful. The estimate was accepted and he said he could work on it immediately. He completed the job by noon. He was communicative throughout the process when adjustments were needed before he set them. He opened the product I had pre-purchased , which was broken (no fault to Xavier) and he was ready with a local plumbing supply shop in the area so that the job could be completed in one day. He walked me through the completed work to make sure I knew how it all worked and saw that everything was completed as promised. He cleaned up after himself and all around made the process easy, pleasant, and straightforward. Would recommend Xavier C. At Snyder plumbing for your next house project !

I had such a great experience with this company. I woke up to a bubble of water in my ceiling so I called to see if someone could come out asap. I was very lucky that they could send some plumbers out to me within 2 hours. They sent Anthony and Xavier. Both knew exactly what to look for and how to fix it. They were able to get me in contact with water damage specialists to fix the drywall. They were professional and overall, I was very happy with the work that was done and how it was explained to me. I would recommend this company and if I need plumbing in the future, I will be using this company.

Would 100% recommend! We had a major plumbing issue that had to be resolved. Their pricing was very competitive but most importantly they were incredibly responsive and helpful! I called several companies who said they could be there in a week or so but John’s team understood the time sensitivity, came out within a few hours and provided a quote on the same day. This was a very involved project to repair and reroute an interior and exterior plumbing line on our home. John, Anthony, Xavier and the whole team managed to get the job done in one day. Anthony installed an under the sink 5 stage filter system for me a year ago. He was super professional, knowledgeable, clean, and quick. I year went by and it was time for me to change 2 out of the 3 filters (the 3rd is to be changed every 3 years), which I did, but the cold water pressure was very low. I called John Snyder back on a Saturday, after a couple attempts to find what was wrong. Anthony was back Monday afternoon. After a couple attempts he realized that we needed to replace the 3rd filter! Boom problem solved! When asked how much I owe, he said to not worry about it!! That’s something you don’t find to often anymore! Everything is working great and didn’t even charge me for the east fix!!

I am very impressed with John Snyders plumbing and the two fantastic men (both Anthonys) who did major work in my home (leaks, change of pipes and vents, installing water for laundry in a new laundry room, deleting and removing an old gas dryer, deleting a double sink and creating new pipes for water evacuation in basement, restarting the heating system, etc.) . I am new in the area, and did a lot of research before settling with them. First, they were the nicest men and seriously it is refreshing that workers do not have an attitude/arrogance when showing up AND talking to women. At no point did I feel they were trying to rip me off. The prices were reasonable for everything that had to be done, and they make sure that everything works, and offer to be back (for free) if I have any issue. They explained at length everything that needed to be done and even repeated it when I had forgotten :), also did some work for free while visiting my place for a quote.They were SUPER clean and vacuumed every place they had worked on. Finally, they did not make me wait and offered a quote in 24 hours, which is also refreshing in the industry.I have already recommended them to friends and neighbors.Now if you do not want to worry, and do not want to be broke after calling your plumber, call John Snyder and the Anthonys.

As first time homeowners, water damage was certainly a daunting task to deal with. John Snyder Plumbing was very easy to work with. I initially sent out a Yelp quote, got an immediate response from John Snyder, called them a few minutes after they technically closed and was still able to reach Megan, who was kind enough to schedule us later the same week. They were able to provide a helpful estimate for how much it might be if their technician would have to cut into our drywall to assess for damage. On the scheduled day, Xavier arrived exactly within the scheduled two-hour time window, and got right to work. He troubleshooted the various possible origins of the leak, quickly eliminating the bathtub, toilet, sinks, shower pan, and eventually cut a small 6 inch by 6 inch drywall hole and found the likely culprit (leaking joint, likely a result of a loosened clamp). Xavier took helpful photos and videos to show us the leaking area (with evidence of early rusting), tightened the clamp, and voila - fixed. Throughout the entire process, he was able to answer all of our many questions about plumbing in general to our satisfaction.For now the leak seems fixed, and I will check back in if the situation changes dramatically. I would highly recommend reaching out to John Snyder Plumbing and Heating for all of your plumbing issues. They were quick to respond, had great availability, extremely pleasant customer service from start to finish, competent employees, and actually the price I was ultimately charged for cutting into the drywall was less than I was originally quoted, and also less than I had been quoted from other companies.

I’ve worked with dozens of different contractors over the years, but few have been nearly as great as John Snyder Plumbing and Heating. I hired them to install a very specific type of radiator throughout the first floor in my old house. Anthony and Xavier were great in troubleshooting my heating system, removing and hauling my old radiators and installing my new radiators. The installation process took longer than expected, but that was due to Anthony and Xavier taking their time and making sure that the job was done properly. They also informed me that the system may leak due to certain parts heating up and if that happened to give them a call. That type of communication was great because when having radiators installed in the past by other less reputable companies, the contractors did not inform me of this possibility which caused some panic and multiple trips out to resolve. Overall, John Snyder is a 10/10 hire that I would recommend to anyone, especially Xavier and Anthony. They’re honest, hardworking, and the exact type of people you’d want working on any home project.

I needed a new water shutoff valve in my home, and with no ability to shut off the water from the street, they thought outside of the box and used a pipe freezing kit to make the swap. They were professional, extremely reasonable in pricing, and did excellent work. They additionally added a second shut off valve to bring the area up to code. The cold water faucet wasnt working in my shower. I had gotten an opinion from another plumber who said that they would offer a temporary solution by replacing it with universal faucets and if that didnt work I would need to get my entire shower replaced and that would cost a couple thousand dollars minimum. I just lived with it until I couldnt anymore. John Synder replied so promptly- the secretary got back to us within 1 hour of us putting in our request at ~8pm! Then Xavier came to check out the plumbing and said that he would be able to fix it without replacing the whole shower! Lo and Behold he did it! He was prompt, professional, trustrworthy! John responded very quickly and had his team out to the house the very next day. Our case was not an emergency so there was no need for immediate response. We had some blockage issues and John himself was able to assess and had an estimate right away. They arrived at the scheduled time and quickly got our problems resolved. He had to dig up the main line outside the home and install a clean out. Big job! They explained everything they were going to do and it went very smooth. I am giving John Snyder a 4/5 because I initially had a very frustrating and confusing miscommunication situation regarding the service/work order description and quote, and a last minute, day-of appointment cancelation by the tech. HOWEVER, John Snyder came out himself the next day and the following Monday and worked through all the confusion, took responsibility for his Tech and the resulting extra work/time. John overcame all obstacles and was professional, thorough, kept me in the loop, and was adamant about honoring the quote I was originally given, even though it would have cost way more. He determined that he would need some tools that he did not have at that time and asked whether it would be OK if he returned at 8am the next morning to take care of the problem--he assured us that if we avoided flushing toilets that there wouldnt be any additional leaking. He arrived promptly at 8am the next morning and had the issue resolved quickly (a tree root in the fresh air vent). I called John Snyder Plumbing and talked to Megan on a Tuesday and she scheduled me an assessment with Khalil the next day to check on a slow/gurgling drain. He found the issue after an hour or so of troubleshooting that it was the curb trap. John, Max, and John were able to come out just a few days later and do quite a bit of digging and completed the job by lunchtime. John and everyone that came out were super courteous and incredibly helpful and explained a lot of things to me that i would never have known. I will definitely call them again! Mr. Snyder was professional & caring about my inability to fix/use hall toilet, whose handle broke off, making it unusable, a hardship with my physical limits. As a victim of contractors who failed to honor their work or warranties, I was shocked and grateful that Mr. Snyder REFUSED payment & asked ONLY that I give positive review! THAT was NOT HARD, as I used to & still am able 2 do ALL toilet repairs & replacements NOT involving lifting upper tank, but was too weak to remove corroded screw & broken handle! I apologize for the lateness of my review, (overwhelmed by multiple hardships),especially cause the price he would have charged was reasonable, & unlike too many plumbers, he did NOT try to sell me a new toilet, nor did he say a repair was not possible, when it was! Ive lived here many years, & am tired of big companies pushing out smaller, independent experts who did excellent work for a reasonable price, with never a comeback. My research on large cos. & repair contracts in the USA, said OVER 65% OR MORE problems were CAUSED by damage created by their techs! It was a huge sample, & I want Mr. Snyder to know how much I am grateful for his skill & emergency response!He is an exceptional plumber, & one of few left that truly cares!

I couldnt have been happier with my experience using John Snyder Plumbing and Heating. We had some seriously rusting and leaking old iron pipes for our hotwater/radiator heating system that needed fixing. Since it was summer and not using heat we had several contractors come out and give estimates. Most quoted a large amount and wanted to open up our nearly 100old walls to replace large sections of the piping. John was able to replace and patch just the exposed sections in the basement (all of the rust was visible and exposed in the basement) and was able to complete the job in just a couple of hours for a very reasonable price. John Snyder plumbing and heating will be the first place I call in the future for any plumbing needs.

Ive had a leak for 3+ months. I called a HVAC guy, contractors, a waterproof basement company and either that wasnt the issue, the couldnt find the issue, or they would cancel on me.
