I strongly recommend Plumbing Pals. They arrived when they said they would. They stayed in communication with me before the job and during. They went above and beyond. They replaced our pipes and helped us identify other issues in the home and ways to fix it. They also made sure not to leave a mess as they walked through the house. Bender, Jay, Big John, and Bolli all worked really well together. They had great communication and were able to explain everything to me. It was very refreshing having a friendly, thorough, and conscientious group of people. I will definitely recommend them to others.

I just had the best experience with Plumbing Pals. I reached out Tuesday night and they fit me in Wednesday. Tim called to say he was on his way and was able to come earlier than expected which was great for my tenants schedule. Within a half hour the pipes were fixed. Ricky was very professional and quick to the scene! He was the only plumber I could find that was willing to do the work without me present (which I greatly appreciated with my busy schedule). He kept me in the loop consistently over the phone while he completed a semi-emergency sink leak. He was thorough in finding the problem and was fair in his pricing. He was quick and showed respect to me and my property by cleaning up thoroughly after completing the work. If you’re looking for a skilled, honest plumber then you’ve got the right guy. Ricky will now be the only one I call when I have any issues!

I couldn’t recommend Plumbing Pals enough. If your’e in the city and want a dependable, knowledgeable, responsive, and friendly company then choose them. We are currently selling our house (STRESS) and had been dealing with new/sudden onset of moisture in our basement over the last 2 weeks with multiple other plumbing company’s over-charging us and leaving us with no solutions/answers to what could be causing the problem. Travas from Plumbing Pals came by the house, jetted & scoped the line and determined the best course of action would unfortunately be to have our main drain line to sewer line and curb trap dug up and replaced. The money spent on the scope & jetting went towards bigger project which I was happy about. Deposit was paid for the project over the weekend, permits were pulled Monday, digging by Tuesday, job complete by Tuesday afternoon. They took care of everything, including the cars on the street in the early morning. They also made sure I was comfortable and informed throughout the whole process. Every single guy on the job was friendly and courteous to both us and our neighbors. At the end of the job we discovered that all of our problems were caused by an inspector (who will remain nameless- and has been very professional handling the situation) made a HUGE error when performing a sewer line scope for our buyer. Plumbing Pals provided me a descriptive letter of what they found in our curb trap which was also extremely helpful. I’m so glad I chose this company for the job, and I hope this review helps someone else make the same choice.

This is actually a character review, not specific to plumbing. Jay with Plumbing Pals was doing working near my house today when my next door neighbors home filled with smoke. No one was home and we had to call the fire department. In the meantime, Jay found the source of the fire in the kitchen and managed to put the fire out before it spread! This was not the house he was doing work at, just a nearby home. He went out of his way to help out our neighborhood when he had absolutely no obligation to do so. Huge thanks to Jay!

Both systems are running smoothly, and the sump pump in particular did some heavy lifting in May when my neighbors water main burst and flooded my basement. I had one company say that they would come out to assess the situation and charge me an hourly rate but none of those funds would go towards the fix. That sounds like a rip off to me. So, I called Economy. Within two hours, they sent someone out, he made an assessment and fixed the problem...and did it all for a fair price. People who refer to themselves as Dr for plumbing issues should be avoided. Try Economy first.

After having my sewer line back up twice in two years due to root intrusions in the terracotta (!) pipe, I decided it was time to replace rather than just clear the line. Travas was one of 3 plumbers that came to assess the issue. I was impressed with his knowledge of and comfort with excavation. He offered a fair price and followed through on everything as promised. Emails and texts were promptly returned, questions thoroughly answered, online payment was easy, and permits and inspection handled without incident. He and his team got started at 8a and were done by 3p. I remain impressed with the speedy and professional work. Ive found the plumber Ill be calling for as long as I call Philly home.

I put in a request on Yelp for quotes at 9:00 PM, and by 9:04, I had a response from Economy Drain Cleaning & Plumbing for two availability windows for someone to come by the following day, as early as 8 AM (so less than 12 hours after my initial request!). Two plumbers arrived within the window I requested and were able to remove a broken and leaky garbage disposal and re-plumb my under-sink area with regular pipes (since I wasnt ready to commit to a brand-new disposal). They worked quickly and efficiently, and Im very pleased with the results. They charged what I felt was a very decent rate for service and parts, and they were done before I knew it. I would definitely consider them for future needs!

The plumbers Alan and Jack were punctual, professional, efficient, courteous, very effective and wasted no time at all diagnosing and resolving the sink issue. They were true to their business name..Economy as well. My plumber recently retired so I was in the market for a new one and I feel I just found one. They diagnosed the issue quickly and wasted no time replacing the pipe. Id recommend them to anyone interested because so far Ive never had a bad experience with them and they were professional and reasonable throughout the entire process.

Travis and his guys at Economy Plumbing were great! I realize my hot water heater was leaking water on a late Friday afternoon in my finished basement and was ready go at any point, which could of been 40 gallons of water taking over my basement floor. Within 1 hour of calling, Anthony was sent out to my house to see what was going on... less then 24 hours later Anthony and Phil were back bright and early to install a brand new hot water heater.Very efficient and professional work and more then reasonable pricing. If you go anywhere else for your plumbing needs your making a big mistake!!!

Plumbing Pals were great. Today was the day 2 to fix my sewer pipe in the basement. The first day was a bigger job, removing pieces of sidewalk to replace the underground sewer pipe. Jay, John, and Bender were all very professional, and explained exactly what they had to do to replace the pipes. They even put proper sealant on some of the pre-existing pvc pipe connections that was loose. Plumbing issues requires a prompt fix, and the Plumbing Pals came the day after we called. I am glad we did and will call them again!

So far they have water jetted my sewer lines, camera inspected them, replaced the water line to spigot in front of the home and installed a fridge water line.

Bathroom faucets were leaking and needed replacement. After two poor experiences with contractors that partnered with my home warranty company, I finally decided to pay out of pocket for someone competent. Economy had great reviews and was based in the neighborhood. Anthony provided great knowledge and service, going a bit beyond expectations when he reinstalled the vanity drawers (which the previous plumbers refused to touch). At his recommendation I bought a pair of higher quality faucets and he came back out the day after they arrived to install them. I would definitely recommend them for any plumbing issues.

In addition to the issue I initially called them out for, we also learned that my main shut off valve has begun to wear out. Weve been having issues with flooding in the basement since we bought our house 3 years ago. It had to do with our cistern and sup pump. A year ago we had flooding. We got a plumber to help us out. He replaced the old pump. Cut to a year later. Big rain. Big flood. The new pump was stuck in a thick clay-like silt and couldnt do its job. We called Economy to take a look. Long story short, they diagnosed it and found the root problem. It called for extensive work. They gave us a detailed estimate. Then returned to do the job we should have had done with the original plumber (he didnt see the root of the problem).They were really friendly and professional. They really knew what they were doing....which isnt a quality easy to come by. They did such a great job. Im so glad I found this company.

Let me start by saying, Economy Drain Cleaning & Plumbing is extremely professional, customer focused, well equipped and highly recommended. My business had a major sewer backup with sewer contents coming out of a floor drain. After several failed attempts at trying to clear the clog myself with a drain snake, I decided to call a professional. A Google search led me to the highly rated Economy Drain Cleaning & Plumbing. My experience with them from the initial call was excellent. Their office staff was professional and I was scheduled for next day service. I received an email and text confirming the appointment immediately following the call. Prior to my appointment, the plumber called to let me know he was on his way and arrived within the timeframe I was quoted the day before. This was my first experience with water jetting and I have to say, it appears far superior to the standard drain snake. The service truck had an onboard water supply, high pressure jetting equipment, a sewer camera and other drain clearing tools. The blockage was extremely difficult ( I have no idea what my people have been flushing) and Economy jetted and took video from multiple angles. They told me they would not leave until the issue was resolved. Their camera identified a major blockage at the inlet inlet of the waste pit I have onsite. Economy made entry into the pit and manually removed the blockage to get the system flowing again. Afterwards, they used their camera to confirm there were no other issues. This was an extremely challenging job that required several hours of work and Economy came through. Thank you Travis, Rick and the rest of the gang for a job well done. As stated previously, I highly recommend Economy Drain Cleaning & Plumbing for commercial drain cleaning services.

What I didnt like was the last time I used your company they did drain the excess water from my basement. I was told you dont do this but you did last time. It was a little more expensive but well worth it. I was given a phone number by one of your workers, to call a Contractor that works with your company who will do it. I contacted him and he wanted $500.00 to pump the water out. When I explained it is only the front of the basement he said it will cost $300.00. Another problem is the cap to go over the outside drain is too big and it appears that I will have to pay for a smaller cap to go over it. I am truly disappointed and there is no guarantee offered on this work. I will have to look into a new agency when/if this happens again. For this I am truly sorry. Your agency was so great to work with last time.

Amazing. Ease and communication in setting up an appointment was exceptional. Sam was amazing at talking through the situation with me and explaining my options. (Side note: Despite being the sole homeowner and person paying for work, I’ve had issues in the past with some folks at other companies/in other trades talking to me like I’m dumb or trying to get unnecessary work out of me because I’m a woman. I never, not even for one moment, got that vibe from Sam. I have no background in plumbing, so when he did have to explain something, he even drew it out to make sure I understood, but I never felt like he was talking down to me. I trust that he was being completely up front and honest at every step.) Sam, Tim, and Travas were also very respectful of my home. I have cats who try to run outside that I couldn’t lock up today and they made sure to be cautious when opening and closing doors. The rest of the work I need done hasn’t happened yet, but I’m optimistic that I will have the same experience.

Economy Drain Cleaning & Plumbing was assigned through our realty company to inspect and repair a 1st floor ceiling leak. Anthony was able to detect the leak (came from a poor bathtub faucet seal), install new equipment & fix the problem, and remove the molded ceiling drywall during his visit. He was efficient, thorough, and cleaned everything up nicely. Very happy with the service!

I cannot say enough good things about my experience with Economy. I came across them in a search so I was completely unbiased. My first contact (and every one after that) with April was amazing. She is pleasant, helpful and efficient. I received a call ahead of time from the technician (Tom) that he was on his way. Tom listened to the issues, presented solutions and kept me informed along the way. As with April, Tom and his partner (Manuel) were pleasant, helpful and efficient. They offered (and got boss Travis approval) to make a return trip to my house later in the evening after doing two additional jobs and picking up a bigger snake. They didnt end up leaving my house until almost 9PM with all issues completely resolved. I have NO hesitation is recommending them to everyone. Id give them more stars if I could. It is clear that every person with this company cares deeply about the customer and getting the job right. Tom told me that they look forward to seeing their customers again. A+ service and professionalism. I submitted for an appointment on their website for an issue with my toilet / drain and within 15 minutes I got an email response back to schedule and then within 20 minutes Sammy arrived at my house. Discovered the issue with my toilet right away and then did tests to check for drainage issues (which there were none). Provided some tips going forward and was extremely polite, honest and professional throughout the visit (they even wore boot covers before entering the house!). I called Economy to replace some broken supply valves in a difficult to service position and to remove a clog in an outdoor drain. They came out first thing the next morning to handle both. The folks who came out were fast, professional, and did great work, even when replacing the valves turned out to be more complicated than it appeared on the surface. I will absolutely hire Economy again for future plumbing needs!

Economy plumbing is always responsive, gives an estimated time, lets you know when theyre on the way and employs knowledgeable plumbers!Today Ricky stopped by because my shower was spurting water and I thought there could be a leak. After taking off the panel in back of the shower, he checked the lines and there wasnt any visible leaks. We let the shower run multiple times before and after and no evidence of anything suspicious. He reassured me that it wasnt anything to worry about and that it could be the shower head itself. I highly recommend Economy Plumbing!
