My mechanical skills are so low, Im proud changing a lightbulb. But my husband built an addition on his home when he was young. Were not young anymore, so it came time to look for a plumber in Philadelphia. Weve had plumbers who wrapped a shutoff valve with cloth when it leaked, created a stalactite under a pipe, and gave us a spray nozzle on the floor near the washing machine in the basement because he used a kitchen faucet rather than buy the right faucet. Its bad when my skill levels are just as good (bad) as those plumbers.Then a couple of years ago, we had a leak under our tub that came through our ceiling. We gritted our teeth and tried a new plumber. Dennis Pratt. (The Son.) Competent. Fairly priced. And done right the first time.Last week, we hired Dennis Pratt and Son to repair all the previous problems plus repairs needed eventually. Fair price. Done last week too. Competent. Professional. Right parts. Holy cow! Low-flow toilets work in one flush now! (The reason we spent decades avoiding updating ours.) Weve finally entered the 21st century in the right way.I dont know if there are any other good, reasonably priced plumbers in Philly, and Ill never have to find out. Well be using Dennis Pratt & Son for the rest of our lives.I wont miss that spray nozzle lying on my basement floor either.

Dennis and his workers always do an excellent job. He is prompt and gets the job done in a clean and professional manner. He even helps the older neighbors who sometimes may get taken advantage of by other plumbers. I would recommend getting Dennis anytime.

Found out last night that our water tank went. Dennis was the first plumber to return my call and came out within a couple hours and this is huge especially when you have no hot water. The guys were extremely polite and got the job done quickly and neatly. I DEFINITELY will recommend Dennis Pratt in the future. Give him a call and you won’t be disappointed that you did!!!!!!

While I am not happy I had to have a flood and water leaks in my new home, I am glad I found a great plumber in the area who provides awesome service and quality work. I called Dennis Pratt Plumbing when I noticed a leak in my living room ceiling from the bathroom. They came out same day and diagnosed the problem, and came back the following Saturday morning to repair the problem. They two younger guys who came out did the repair quickly, and explained what caused the issue. They also cleaned up and assisted me in diagnosing another water issue with my basement. I went through quite a few different plumbing companies prior to reaching these guys, but I can say now with the excellent customer service and great work, these guys are honest and have my business for any future plumbing needs. They might not be the cheapest plumber, but what I have learned is, you get what you pay for. If you want it done right, and avoid future problems, this is the place to go. HIGHLY recommend if youre in need of a plumber!

I am very satisfied with the work and service that Dennis Pratt Plumbing provided for me. They have reasonable rates and their service and quick delivery make them stand out. They will repair any walls/floors/ceilings that they have to cut to access the plumbing. They helped me through a difficult situation and tested all of their work correcting any issues that arose.
