Last Thursday night, a pipe outside my front yard busted and prevented water to access my house. First, I called ECUA because the location was near the road. ECUA came out and told me the location of the busted pipe was on my side and I needed to call a plumber. I called Larry Downs Jr Plumbing because Ive heard great things about them and their website stated they offered 24/7 service. When I called at around 9pm, my phone call was immediately picked up and I was promised that a technician would come out first thing in the morning. The next day, the technicians came and found out that the leak was due to a part connected to the meter that only ECUA had since its a new model of meters. Unnervingly, the technicians did not know when ECUA would deliver the needed part, but Larry Downs Jr, himself, worked with ECUA to ensure it would be delivered that day. The technician, Kody, thoroughly explained to me the situation, waited for the part to be delivered and completed the job in an excellent manner. I am truly grateful for Larry Downs Jr. Plumbing for they really took care of me and did everything they could to ensure that I had water flowing into the house that day. They were professional, efficient, caring, and honest. I HIGHLY recommend Larry Downs Jr Plumbing.

These guys are simply the best Plumbers weve hired for our East Hill home repairs. Weve used a few other plumbers before finding Larry Downs Jr but Larry Downs is the ONLY one we called back time and time again since then. Jerry and Thomas are two of the best weve ever dealt with. They took their time helping us understand the Code and didnt leave until we were completely satisfied with the work. We really appreciated their professionalism and friendliness to talk to us along the process. They never complained once. It is not an easy job to bring an 102 year old home up to code but they had the patience to see it through. They charged by the job and not the hour.

I had a bad outdoor faucet. I called one day and they said they would have to charge me for the drive time from their shop across town. At the time I declined this charge. Then one day they were doing some work on my street so I called to see if they could fit me in. The receptionist said she would find out if they could and they did. The job only took 15 min and they charged me for one hour. I was so pleased with the service and professionalism. A good, professional, and generational plumber in our community is well worth a little more money! Not only does this owner do plumbing they also advocate for FREEDOM!

Martin and Clarke replaced about 40 of sewer line from my house to the tap. They carefully located the damaged pipe, determined what needed to be fixed and replaced and spent the next 6 hours doing the job. Not only did they fix the problem of broken sewer pipes but they took care to make sure the original grass was replaced to near original condition and made sure the sidewalk remained intact since the final connection required removal of 2 sections. They were polite, informative and very personable and I would have both of the back at my home for any future jobs.

These guys showed up NEXT DAY and installed a new 40 gallon electric water heater. Friendly, knowledgeable, great pricing, great quality. The water heater has the standard warranty AND they warranty their work. Will be using them in the future for my plumbing needs.

Larry Downs Jr. Plumbing has done several major and minor jobs for me. Including but limited to. Septic and drain field, Hot water heater installation, Natural gas line installation and the completed installaton of a full bath. Larrys crew was as concerned for the the quality of the finished product as I was. I cannot say enough about the quality, and attention to detail that his plumbers strive for. I have even had his company do work on several condos on Perdido beach. Very Highlly Recommended.

I called Larry Downs Jr. plumbing this morning based on some reviews that I saw online after I finally raised the white flag after over a year and a half trying and delaying responding to my wifes request to get a plumber.I first spoke with a very friendly receptionist and I am sorry but I cannot remember her name and she told me that since I was in Pensacola it would be a charge if it was a special trip, but they happened to be in my area right now and would today be good?Fortunately today was a very good day for me and within a couple hours I got another phone call and RJ who was the plumber. He came to the house with his assistant Logan. They were very professional and I could tell they were honest and excellent professionals.They explained everything that I needed and repaired the two faucets that in given me such a headache for the past over 2 years and did it in less than a couple hours and that included going to get the parts that were required. I will refer them and use them every time I have a need because they were very honest and professional .The only problem was that my lab mix dog, Rocky seems to already be missing them. :) But, my wife is happy!!

Called with a hot water slab leak the day before Halloween while I had family in town. Larry Jr put me on the schedule for the following Monday and advised me on how to shut the hot water off to the water heater. Jerry and a team of guys came to my house and quickly diagnosed the problem and rerouted the hot water through my attic, saving a bunch of money and headache of breaking the floor up in my master bath where the leak was. VERY professional and incredibly flexible to come out on such short notice. We will be using Larry Downs Jr Plumbing EXCLUSIVELY for all our future plumbing needs!
