Found out our water heater was leaking. Called and explained what was happening. By the description of water leaking from the upper seal of the tank, they informed us that we’d need a replacement and that including labor it’s ~ $1600 for a 50 gallons tank. We called another company just to be certain and after they came and do a visual inspection, they informed us that a replacement was definitely needed. However, they had a ridiculous price of ~$2200. So we paid them $69 for their diagnostic fee and waited for Whitehead instead. I was so impressed with the thoroughness and quality of the work that I was moved to tip the technician.

Phenomenal service! It is Sunday and they came out immediately and got our HVAC back up and running. I love that they do after hours service calls.Whitehead does plumbing and HVAC and I’ve officially used them for both. Larry is the absolute best! He and his partner both represented Whitehead Plumbing as true professionals providing top-notch service and exceptional work. I had an after-hours emergency during which my home partially flooded. Larry responded immediately arriving at my house in 20 minutes. He concluded the leak was likely coming from a broken pipe under the foundation and referred me to a leak detection company to pinpoint the leak. Once complete, Larry made returning to my home to perform the repair his top priority. Larry was very knowledgeable and explained everything they needed to do and even answered all of my questions along the way. He takes no shortcuts and completes high quality work. I will definitely request him by name for all future repairs. Hard-working employees like Larry are hard to come by…this man deserves recognition and a raise!

They used their smoke machine to find the source of the foul odor in my guest bathroom. I thought it was coming from the sink but it was actually from a totally different location. I purchased a new self-cleaning toilet from them as well. They installed it quickly and professionally. I am so happy that the odor is finally gone and my new toilet works very well. Dont hesitate to call them. My technician was George G., very knowledgeable, professional and friendly. He got right to it and solved the problem quickly. They are not cheap but in my opinion they are worth every penny!

Larry and James were great! We had a clogged kitchen sink that was not able to be fixed by snaking the drain (tried by us and two plumbers). Larry and James were able to get the hydrojet machine set up and cleared the major grease clog in a hour or so. Very upfront/fair pricing. Great overall experience, would definitely use them again. Also learned basically nothing but water and soap should go down the kitchen sink! Lesson learned.

I was very impressed with this company. They came out the day I called, were pleasant and professional and sized up the job quickly. I had a water heater fail and it was in a small closet with a 19 wide doorway. They found a quality replacement and worked very hard to install it in a very tight space. I called Mr. Rooter Monday for a quote. I called Whitehead Plumbing on Tuesday to compare.Ms. Janae (sp?) (who was so polite, kind, and helpful), answered after 2 rings. I had a quote from her and was off the phone in under 5 minutes.Whitehead’s price for a Brand new 55 gal Rheem water heater WITH delivery/installation AND haul away of old unit was $100 less than the Quote Mr. Rooter gave us the day before for JUST the cost of their 50 gal Bradford white water heater alone (BW is a much cheaper quality heater than rheem). Let alone installation or haul away.With unit cost installation and haul-away, Whitehead was half the price for the full job - $1,058 vs. Mr. Rooter’s quote of over $2,000! AND Whitehead offered the same 1 Year warranty on their work as the big guys.The soonest they could get us scheduled was Friday, so I asked them to call me if they had any cancellations. Ms. Janae called back within 3 hours of me asking to be out on the wait list and said she could have a rep out that afternoon.Larry was our service rep. He arrived on time, and was incredibly polite, knowledgeable, professional, and was generally just great to chat with. He explained everything he was doing, gave me some great pointers on our new water heater’s warranty, maintenance schedule, how to conduct annual routine maintenance myself, and where to find our unit’s circuit breaker.He worked quickly and efficiently, performed high quality work (pipe cutting/refitting/soldering) and had the old unit out and new unit in in under 90 minutes. First of all I would like to say that before I called Whitehead Plumbing I called another local company that I had used before hurricane Michael, I had used them on a few occasions for my Plumbing issues and they were always fair with their pricing, unfortunately there are a lot of companies price gouging right now and the company I had previously used was one of those. When that company came out they wanted $90 for a service call and an additional $335 to unclog a bathroom sink, there was absolutely no way I was going to pay that. So of course I got back on Google looking for another company, I found Whitehead Plumbing, asked for their fees and they were reasonable and not price gouging, Jessie came out, he was very nice, professional and knowledgeable plus he got my sink unclogged in less than an hour for a total of $150! Thanks to everyone at Whitehead Plumbing for taking care of the locals and not taking advantage of us!

Holy cow! Ive spent weeks looking for the back of the toilet lid for a toilet from the 70s. I could not find anything. Called Whitehead plumbing and they said just draw the tank out on the back of a piece of cardboard and bring it in and well find a tank lid. They did it! One lid that I had seen online by the manufacturer but in a different color being sold by a retro plumbing store was going for $500. Whitehead charged me $20. All of the reviews of a 3rd party replacement lid I saw on Amazon criticized the fact that it was not porcelain and didnt fit well. This was and did perfectly! And to top it off, when I asked for a receipt, the guy in the store said dont worry about it, its just us. Thats a local business. Thats what I call doing business right! Kudos to them. I will be bypassing the big box stores for my plumbing needs in the future and going directly to where people know how to get things done. Thank you, Whitehead Plumbing!

I had a slight leak on the back flow side of our main line which we hired an handyman to repair, however, we made the problem worse. Next day, and one hard overnight freeze, we quickly realized we needed an expert, so we called Whitehead Plumbing. They sent a service specialist out within an hour or so. Larry Street was both knowledgeable and professional and fixed our problem in no time. Thank you Whitehead and sorry Larry that you had to get soaking wet from the knees down in freezing temps. They didnt have a specific Delta tub faucet spout that I needed and I wasnt about to start cutting pipe to make another one fit. not only did it take seconds for the staff at Whitehead to find that part they were also able to give me the exact internal parts for a leaky sink faucet and a shot off valve in moments with just a glance at a photo. meanwhile my 5 year old was quietly playing with the toys in their loby.
