I called Advantage after another large company in the area did a subpar job on my AC units maintenance (had a maintenance contract with them). Maybe a coincidence, but the day after maintenance one system blower went out and 2 days later, one of the other system blowers went out. Matt came in from Advantage and fixed everything that had been done wrong or not done at all (cleaning) during maintenance. He was on time, very polite and friendly, very knowledgeable and I did not feel like he was pushing me to buy other things (like the other company). Advantages pricing was better as well. Even better, Advantage is locally owned by veterans! Thats a win all day for me!

Just now getting around to leaving my review. I was proactive before the weather got warm and had several companies come out and give me an estimate. This isnt a new rodeo for me so I knew what questions to ask and how to read the folks. Im from St. Louis and I must say there are some umm how do I say this politely overpriced HVAC companies in Panama City. Dont presume because Im a women I have no clue on respectable quotes. I gave up on the quotes and decided to contact the air conditioning company that came out when I had a home warranty. I was confused because when they answered they said a different company name than what I called. I thought, Nope not today, will I be scammed so I hung up and called back. The same person answered. I explained my issue and got on the schedule for an appointment, still a bit leery.They sent a guy out, Duo, was his name. He looked at everything and gave me what I will call a fair quote, not the worst but still not the best quote I think for the job. Duo was warm, friendly, and professional. Àlthough I wasnt won over by the price I felt no shadiness with him. Once I made my decision I called the company, knowing I had one other company I wanted to get a quote from, which was Advantage.I did not realize it was considered after hours when I called so I left a message. A man called me back within 15 minutes and answered all of my many questions. He was extremely patient and polite with me. As we kept talking, I told him about the my confusion because I called one company yet when they answer the phone they said a different company which was Advantage. He laugh and explain he owned the other company and joined forces with Advantage.He gave me a GREAT price for a top brand unit. We lined up my install knowing I would not be in town. Duo and a coworker came and did the install. They did an excellent job, in and out on the same day. I have a wall unit dehumidifier and they worked its drainage to be effective with my new unit. On top of that, they sent me a thank you card for doing business with them!In summary, great price, excellent unit, professional employee makes Advantage the best in Panama City.

Our A/Cu unit wasn’t communicating properly, so we reached out to one company to get on their schedule, but it ended up being 2 days and still no one came to help. So we then reached out to Advantage and they had someone out within 2 hours. Dionisio showed up ready to work! He was very friendly, professional, efficient, and explained the entire process. Brad was able to fit me in the same day....quick response and was able to fix the issue in no time. Checked the rest of the unit and handler to make sure everything was good...found an issue with how the drain pipe was put in and suggested fixing it, but was not pressuring me to do it then which most companies do so they can increase that service bill. I told him the pipe was working fine and no issue with any leaking in the 4 years I had the unit...he just said If you decide you want to go and and do it give us a call and we will come fix it. I was extremely happy with my service in fact I am not sure what exactly he did or adjusted but the A/C blowing in my house is actually colder than it was before, I have my thermostat set to adjust at certain times and I was home when it was set to 78 and I was actually not hot at all which before I kept my Thermostat at 72 and would still be hot. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

I dont typically complete surveys for good service but this was far beyond good service.Kaylynn was the service technician that arrived at the beginning of my appointment window. The van was clean and her meters are clearly well taken care of.Kaylynn, without knowing more than the AC isnt cooling, literally had the problem diagnosed within 15 minutes and running within another 15 minutes. I was so impressed I asked for a tune up and 17 vent duct cleaning quote.Total bill today was under $200 and the follow up quote was under $2,000. A competitor yesterday quoted $4500 to get it running (but didnt have parts on his truck) and $10,000 to replace two units if I wanted more than a few years of reliability.Having Kaylynn in the field is good business for Advantage and builds client base.

Previous company tried gas lighting me saying 83 degrees is normal. Advantage shows up and immediately finds a leak on the accumulator and Freon levels extremely low. My A/C was unable to keep up with the heat through out the day. It still cooled, but just couldn’t keep up. Faith with Advantage HPE arrived the very next morning. Professional and equally knowledgeable of the unit and all of its systems. Faith was thorough with her diagnosis and found a dead capacitor. She replaced the capacitor and gave me some filter options as I have a universal stand. I will call Advantage every time with this level of service received. Great job to all !!!!
