Nate and his crew were quick to respond... our water heater was leaking on a Saturday and he tried to walk us through shutting it off over the phone but the valve was broken...he was quick to set up a time to come out on Monday first thing and showed up when he said he would on time. His quote was much less than a competitor and the water heater was the same quality brand. No high pressure sales tactics and the work was clean, professional, well done and guaranteed. We decided to have them replace our old water softener since we were having issues with it as well. Highly recommend.

Thornton Plumbing got the job done! I have been having troubles getting hot water to my kitchen faucet. I had plumbers come to my home twice over past year and they did not fix the problem. In order for me to get hot water in the kitchen I had to turn on my bathroom hot water to get the tank-less water heater to run. I was able to get an appointment quickly. Nate and team were all very professional, courteous and helpful. I am pleased with the service (I finally got hot water in the kitchen!) and I even had additional work done a few days later. They also leave the place spotless when the job is completed. I now have them on my list as my number one go to for plumbing needs.

Our bathroom wouldn’t unclog no matter what we did, we tried a toilet auger and a plunger. But, alas, still clogged. They were able to fix it pretty quickly too! I had a great experience with Thornton Plumbing. Numerous times Ive had to have them come out for different problems. The other day I had to get my water spicket changed out do to damage that was done to it. They had a heck of a time getting the line out to replace it. They had to go through the wall in the laundry room to get to it and for whatever reason the water line wouldnt not stop draining to fix the issue. They were really irritated with the problem but, kept a professional manner while fixing the issues. In addition, to fixing any of my problems they give great advice on how to keep my house from having issues with plumbing. I have never had problems with Thornton Plumbing and they have always made sure there work was done within code and looked professional when completed. A must call company in my opinion for any of your plumbing needs. Some people complain about their pricing on jobs but, for the quality of work they do, the price quoted is well worth it. Ive had cheaper plumbers before and they didnt seem to care what the job looked like afterwards. This company cares about how their work looks when completed.

First off selected Thortons due to the 4.7 rating and also seemed like a small family owned business. Had a slab leak needing fixed. Only thing I would say was a little bit of a bummer is that website states leak detection when Thortons actually contracts it out. I was also told repair could be done on Thursday but that was before even getting in contact with leak detection company. Really didnt make sense to say a day without knowing the leak detections availability. First impression was not good due to this. Moving on the leak detection company they use was on time, polite, and did a great job at finding the leak. Now for Thortons repair man who came to do the repair. He was very polite and did a great job despite having to try to fix the line 3 times due to having more than 1 hole. Ended up having to cap the line above ground which wasnt far away. Owner came by to check it out after completion and I was not charged any extra for the line cap despite already have done the work for slab repair. In the end I had a great experience and would highly recommend Thortons. Support smaller local businesses!

I had to replace my hot water heater this week. He came out assessed my situation and gave me my options. He was able to do my replacement the same day. I chose Thornton Pluming because they offer the Bradford White hot water heaters because thats what I wanted and thats what he uses. I also wanted to deal directly with the owner. I could of chose a Lowes or Home Depot but opted for Nate because hes an actual plumber even though I could have saved a bit going that route. He left the place like he found it and took the old hot water heater away and I was very pleased with his service.

I cant say enough great things about the professionalism and integrity shown by Thornton Plumbings employee Austin. We are in the process of relocating out of state. My husband had already gone and I was left to see to any repairs needed to the house. Austin explained everything he did with pictures he had taken and explained the process to fix the problems without talking down to me. Any question I had he took the time to answer and was always polite. He really gave me peace of mind that everything that needed to be fixed was done properly , and he really took pride in his work. I called this company after walking into my basement and saw water pouring from the bottom of my rusted water heater. It was after hours, about 6:30PM, and Nate Thornton answered the phone. I explained the situation and he made an appointment with me for 1PM the next day. They were right on time, brought everything they needed with them, removed the old and installed a brand new water heater in less than 2 hours, and it looks and runs fantastic. Nate and his employee were ultra professional and he took the time to let me know exactly what was going on. I had called 2 other places and as a single woman, the quotes and explanations that were given felt like they were trying to take advantage of the situation. I loved that a knowledgable person answered the phone and knew exactly what I needed. When they came out they offered a fair and lower price than their competitors. They were on time (even early) to our appointment. The installation looks picture perfect incredible! They walked me through how each part worked together and how to help this setup last through and after the warranty. The smart water softner will make it easy for this girl to keep it working. And finally the long hot shower showed me exactly what I was missing and what a difference a professional makes. I cant thank them enough!

Outstanding crew of guys. I had a blockage and clean out repair that none of us expected. Dave, Blake, Trevor and Nate worked all afternoon in the sweltering heat and humidity to bust up the 30 plus inches of over pour concrete. They never quite or refered me to another plumber. Nate said they could do it the job and he proved it to me. Thornton Plumbing is big enough to get the job done but still small enough to take care of the customer. After seeing these guys work, Id never call another plumber, ever. Definitely worth the call.

Ive had them out a few times and have had only good experiences. My most recent issue was a toilet leak. The plumber pulled the toilet, saw some mold, and encouraged me to have a water restoration company check it out. I appreciated the honesty because this diagnosis reduced the service charge significantly.After a restoration company cleared me, he came back to re-set the toilet. When the sub-flooring made this difficult, the plumber took time to troubleshoot the situation and come up with a solution. At every point, he talked to me about my options and told me what he recommended without pressuring me. As in the past, Im convinced that he was acting with integrity and was committed to solving my problem.

Be cautious and do your research.The guys were quick to get here did a great job with my install; which is why they got 4 stars; however; there are somethings to be wary of...I did agree to their terms on my water heater install; I did not do my research before; but I did after and the cost for that install was quite a bit more than it would have been with another company. Lesson learned! I started wondering if I was over paying when they offered to install a Scaleblaster for $1300.00 without taking a breath. I would certainly hope the overly costly install was not simply because I am a single female.I bought the Scaleblaster for $210 (including shipping) and installed it on my own in less than 30 minutes - so that $1300.00 was way above where it should have been. They are a flat rate company, and either cannot, or will not, provide an itemized receipt of services and costs; it seems that makes them quite a bit pricier than other companies, so I would just caution you to do your research and get other estimates.

Weve now used Thornton Plumbing for 3 different issues and their service has been consistently outstanding. From installing a new water heater and softener, to a new sump pump and underground drainage pipe, to as of yesterday, installing a new gas line that simply looks impressive (I realize its just a gas line), but everything was very well done. To top things off, my wife picked up the new gas range that morning, as I had to work, and upon completing the job, the guys removed the old electric range, took the new range out of our car, and installed it. Obviously, this was not part of the job, but thats just the level of customer service Thorntons provides.These guys are top notch. No, they are not the cheapest, but if cost is a reflection of workmanship and customer service, then they are very well priced. I highly recommend them. Easiest 5 stars Ive ever given.

Thornton Plumbing took on a plumbing job at an old house I had been renovating for over 12 years. A previous contractor had done a really bad job on the plumbing. Pipes going everywhere, not vented properly. You name it, it was wrong. This was a complete tear out and replace situation. Thornton did a beautiful job. They reran the pipes in a way that you hardly even see them. They installed a manibox system with all the water lines running into it, all lines are marked clearly so it is easy to shut off what I need with just a turn of a switch. They installed a tankless water heater that I had purchased 2 years earlier and had never worked. They reconnected it with a new water softener. Now it works perfectly. They installed a new sump pump. They connected my Gas lines to my kitchen range and even did the roofing work needed to facilitate putting in the vents on the roof. They had a drywall guy come in and replace the drywall that had to be removed to gain access to certain areas. I call them a One Stop Shop. All of the crew was very knowledgeable and I could not be happier. Now I can finally live in my house. Thanks guys Pat Lane
