    I recently contacted Lagana for some plumbing needs at my salon. After a bad experience with another company, they were absolutely amazing from the moment I called. They were able to schedule a visit at a time that was convenient for me and arrived right on time. We had some unforeseen challenges come about and they were incredibly knowledgeable and took the time to explain the situation in detail, along with the best options for repair. The quality of their work was outstanding, and everything was completed efficiently and neatly. They truly went above and beyond!     We contacted Lagana to install a heat pump unit for our house this summer. An estimator came out in a few days and was very helpful and the installation was scheduled about 3 weeks later. The main installer, Zeb, was punctual and got right to work. Clearly experienced and efficient, he was very professional and courteous as were a couple of colleagues that came to help for a while. Everything was done on time and cleaned up. Everyone involved were helpful, friendly and efficient. Very satisfied!

    Had Matt and AJ install a furnace and new media air cleaner at my mother in laws house yesterday. Very professional and polite, answered all our questions and left the basement work area as clean as it was before they got there.     I had a leaking shower head that I had determined was being caused by the faucet. I attempted to repair it myself but was unsuccessful. I called Lagana Plumbing and they sent Colton out a couple days later.Colton was very pleasant and ready to work. After watching him for a short period of time I could tell that he knew what he was doing. He went through a very logical troubleshooting protocol and kept me informed at each step. I had purchased a replacement valve cartridge and he installed it to see if that was the issue and it was not. He repackaged it for me so I could return it.He determined that the problem could only be the “rough in” portion of the valve which of course can only be accessed through the back of the shower behind the wall. He gave me an estimate for parts and labor on this repair and it was only marginally less than the cost to install a completely new Moen faucet including the rough in. In addition we discussed the possibility of installing an expansion tank for my water heater which would likely lessen the chance of this happening again due to the higher pressure on the hot water side.I decided to go with both options and I purchased the Moen Trim kit and included Rough In valve myself and we set up a time to do the work.The final work went flawlessly. Colton is truly a professional and works very efficiently. There was no point in time that I felt like he was trying to “milk” the job. In fact it was just the opposite.Additionally Lagana doesn’t charge by only full hours. The a VERY FAIR with how they calculate their chargeable time.Overall I was very pleased with Lagana Plumbing and Heating and particularly with Colton and Bob. (scheduler)I will definitely call Lagana if I have any future plumbing issues that I can’t handle myself.

    We just had a new dishwasher installed that we had purchased from Ruffalos. The two young men that did installation were the nicest young men we have dealt with in a long time. Courteous, professional, above and beyond. We have used this company in the past and awesome company. As far as today, would give more stars if we could! Thank you guys (didnt get names😢).

    Laganas service technician, Caleb N., installed a new part in our Rheem furnace to quiet a resonating sound.     Great service, it did take a while to get a plumber here , few weeks ( with my work schedule, so not all their fault ) but did great job , seemed a little pricey. I didn’t like the dispatch fee $89 . I haven’t been charged that by other plumbers

    Once again, another FANTASTIC experience with Lagana. Last year, they installed Mitsubishi heat pumps in a property. From the initial contact through the installation everything and everyone was stellar! Today, they serviced an older heat pump installation, that I thought would surely need to be completely replaced. Not yet! Tom T fully diagnosed and began the service work. From initial phone call to the time he drove away - everyone involved is professional, courteous and knowledgeable. I highly recommend Lagana!

    My wife and I hired Lagana to install a Mitsubishi 3 zone mini split in our home and we couldnt be more pleased with the whole experience. From Josh who came out to give us info and estimates, to Nikki who scheduled the install to Zeb and Caleb who came to our home to perform the install, everyone was respectful and easy to deal with. Zeb and Caleb did an excellent job. They were very neat, knowledgeable and a pleasure to have in our home. Lagana will definitely be our go to company for HVAC or plumbing needs.     Adam was the installer for our Water Heater this past week. Courteous and Friendly right off the bat when he arrived. Then the removal and installation began. Professional and Quality of work came to the forefront. Being the nosy guy I am, I like to observe because all the qualities that Adam showed I admire. He explained why the parts that he replaced were done and the tools he used were beyond the work smarter, not harder phrase came into light. Boy times have sure changed as well as the process. This is twice we have used Lagana for repairs/work and because of their skills and knowledge we will continue to use this company.Kaleb was our Service man this time. Kaleb has been here in the past doing some installs and he is always pleasant and friendly. His knowledge in regard to our equipment is very helpful as well. He noticed an up and coming possible problem which we will be addressing shortly. Again we have no problem about sharing your Company with our family and friends. Their Loyality Program is also something others need to look into. We belong to it also.Kaleb was our service rep on Monday to do the repair that was brought to our attention on a previous visit.     Outstanding !!, I wanted to take the Time to write this review, Im New to the area and and had heating issues with my boiler system, I spoke with Bob on the phone and they sent Kaleb out to troubleshoot the system and he did a Great Job !!, I made the decision to replace the boiler due to age (20 Years Old) they sent Zeb and Caleb and they removed and replaced the unit, The new Install was done and done professionally, This company will have all of my business going forward.     Purchased a home about a month ago and almost immediately the home had a few issues not discovered previously. Less than 24 hours later we were sent a rep to address our furnace and gas line valve issues. Kaleb was a top notch employee. Very respectful and polite. He took the time to explain anytime I had many questions and to put it into terms I could understand. He gave us a quote before any work was started for us to approve.     Im actually posting three (3) reviews. I seldom ever do this, but these guys deserve special mention.SEPT 2022: First Review: Lagana performed three different improvements for me, each about 10 days apart. In this first case Colton replaced a defective ballast tank for my well-water system. He not only performed outstanding work, he also made improvements, cleaned everything up afterward, was friendly and knowledgeable, stuck to the price quoted ... the list goes on and on. I could not be happier.AUGUST 2023: Second Review: Lagana has since installed a new hot water heater, a complete new furnace and ducts, dug a trench and connected my plumbing to municipal water, installed a new toilet, built a new shower with sliding glass doors, replaced multiple fixtures and more. Everything works perfectly -- and they even followed up to make sure.SEPT 2024: Third Review: The Ruffalo adjunct of Lagana is installing a new stove to replace my 30-year-old Montgomery Ward oven. After initial installation inspection, Lagana sent Ericka beforehand to install a new gas shutoff to bring everything up to code and assure safety. A natural professional, she performed a top-shelf installation, checked for leaks, made everything ready, missed nothing, all went smoothly. She was absolutely great. The following day they pulled out the old stove & installed the new one. Everything went smooth as silk, they cleaned up after and I love the new appliance.

    I cant say enough and how thankful I am to the entire staff of lagana. I had a catastrophic breakdown with my furnace. They were honest very punctual and did their best to get me up and running and all at a fair price. Im sure most companies would have just said I need a new furnace. Every person I talked to on the phone and in person the technicians went out of their way to help me. They would explain the problem and fix it. I cant tell you how thankful I am.     Just had Erica from Laganas come out to install a new outdoor hose spigot and fix a loose hand sprayer on our kitchen faucet. I requested a heavy duty spigot and Erica did not disappoint bringing a very heavy duty one for the job. The work was done correctly, efficiently and she left everything nice and clean. I was very pleased with her work and will request her in the future.

    Matt and Aj installed a Mitsubishi Split system in our home. They were tremendously professional. I have not witnessed such work ethic and a desire to make an installation as perfect as possible in a very long time. They were at our home for two and a half days. None stop working and ensuring we were aware and pleased with all that was happening. Working with us every step of the way. I will recommend and use Lagana in the future. I have had several jobs completed by them in the past year and a half, every job has been a five star experience.We have used the AC/Heat pumps some, due to the in between seasons. What we expected them to do is exceeding my expectations. I was a skeptic about changing to a heat pump, no longer. They provide a very even and comfortable climate inside our home, without us really knowing they are there. There is a reason we see so many of these units being installed, they are wonderful. Thank You to the entire Lagana team for giving us such a great experience.Tom did the inspection of a leaking water heater. Confirmed the leak. He then had the heater approved for replacement under warranty. Removed the heater and ordered the new one. All with professionalism and courtesy. I have used Lagana several times over the past 18 months every time professional and great results. Best part is someone answers their phone.

    I own an old farmhouse and had a blockage in my gray water line that was leading to slow drainage from my kitchen sink and backflow when I washed clothes. Laguna sent a technician out and he was able to fix the blockage and add an air vent to help the plumbing in this old house.     I have a Boiler for heat in my home on Keuka lake which was in need of professional attention. This was my first experience using Lagana. I don’t always write reviews but from the start of setting the appointment, communication of a reminder and the Technician, Kaleb, arriving on time with a smile! Upon entering I told him he didn’t need the foot coverings he had in his hand- he respectfully replied with he wanted to wear them.He listened attentively to my boiler concerns along with asking questions I had not thought of. His inspection and work was thorough. After replacing the part that was causing my issues and adjust a few settings, he asked me to look at the boiler with him. Kaleb explained not just what he did but some overall working elements of my system which was Greatly appreciated by me! Lagana is now saved in my phone with this technician Kaleb in the notes for any future needs! Thank you!

    We recently had a heat pump and air handler installed. This included building all the ductwork to all the rooms. The installation was very neat and professional. Anytime we had a question or concern they took the time to speak with us. This is the second project they have done for us. Last year was a boiler for radiant heat in the pole barn.     As a veteran I can appreciate service performed with professionalism and high quality. My experience with Lagana Plumbing & Heating has been excellent. I made an appointment to have my AC compressor serviced after the unit stopped operating. David M was the assigned technician, and he was able to diagnosis the problem, determine the fix, and replace the faulty part within approximately 15 minutes of arriving. Additionally, David’s work ethic was impressive, and it was very apparent that he was a person of high integrity and strong conviction. I recommend Lagana if you’re in need of HVAC service.

    Speedy service!1 Lagana Plumbing got us in quickly and we couldnt be happier. Nate and Kaleb were friendly, professional and went above and beyond. We hired them for a new install of a water heater. We also recognized our back-up furnace wasnt kicking on, since we heat primarily with wood. They were able to try to give us a hand with it while on the call, but advised we get it thoroughly checked out. We have someone from Lagana coming back tomorrow to give it a good once over. Even though our cellar resembles a dungeon. they didnt leave a mess behind, unlike a lot of people who fix things, Much appreciated!!!

    Recently had Lagana install heat pumps/AC in our home. They did a great job and we are amazed at the units performance. Had a minor issue where one of the units was not functioning properly on a Sunday and left them a message that night.     Lagana is the best! Our service person, Colton, was patient, pleasant and extremely competent. We had some significant plumbing issues, and he took the time to figure out what was wrong and then was able to deal with them in a timely fashion.     Lived in the area and have used many local HVAC / plumbers over the years - with up and down results based the job to be done and the tech that showed up. Been using Lagana for 3 years now for AC, hydronic heating maintenance, new hot water maker, and general plumbing maintenance. The excellent experience starts at the first call (Nicki) - happy, helpful, and always works hard to get someone to respond with a keen eye re: sense of urgency based on the situation. Then the tech team themselves - every single one shows up on time, calls 15-20 mins before they arrive, and they ask really good questions before they start any work. They call/txt along the way to inform/inquire as they discover things (very old house) and their work (and products) are always top-notch. What’s also impressive to me is how often I hear from the techs themselves how much they like where they work - happy team leads to happy customers. Good work all the way around Lagana!!

    While purchasing appliances Ruffalos, we noticed that they sold mini-splits thru Lagana. We called Josh and in a couple of days he showed up, took measurements and had a quote back on us in a couple of days. We told him that we were in no hurry and would probably install the unit in the spring. After a few days, I called Lagana and explained to Nicki what we wanted to do. She told me that thru Wells Fargo, they have a program with NO MONEY down, they offer 0% financing. Sooo after some deliberation, we had te mini- split installed on Sepmber 22. Chris and AJ showed up on a dark rainy day - fall is in he air! After asking us questions about location of the unit and other concerns we might have, they started in and worked straight thru until finished. Good workers cleaning up after themselves. They did a very good job. Highly recommend them and Lagana! Used he unit (heat) last night and it worked great. Could not hear the unit at all. Only thing we have to do, is to get use to the indicator light on the unit. Just like a night light!

    I woke up to a chilly house this morning and couldn’t get the pilot light re-lit on my boiler. Lagana had the problem diagnosed and fixed before lunch, and at a very reasonable price.     I have had Lagana Plumbing repair several things in my house over the past couple of years for pumbing repairs and Ruffalo for appliances. Previously, they were able to coordinate a plumbing repair and appliance repair for my diswasher on the same service appointment which was convenient. They have been helpful on the phone, able to come and do the work quickly and have been prompt and courteous. Recently, Colton came to replace a kitchen faucet for me but also checked the water pressure in my house and answered my questions about the plumbing in my house. I appreciated his knowledge in answering my questions. I would recommend Lagana Plumbing and Heating and Ruffalo Appliance.

    Had been getting error messages on my boiler system (the same messages had appeared last year when another contractor assigned by a home warranty company fixed the boiler). David was able to find the problem: a bad wire connection on a pump installed by the previous contractor (this could have been a final exam in boiler school). Rewired and the system is working fine. Excellent job.

    Our hot water heater needed replacing. We called Lagana Plumbing & Heating in Newark. They sent a guy, actually 2, that afternoon. I wanted to replace in kind but they didnt have it in stock but did have it the next day, today. They came out this afternoon replaced the old one, removed the old one, checked everything out, bill was as quoted, and explained everything. Excellent service!!! Thanks you Tim for your help!!!

    We bought a house that had been vacant for some time. When Lagana Plumbing came out to inspect the house, they found a gas leak and took care of it all right away. They didnt even worry about who was paying for the work to be done or when they were getting paid, they just fixed it and made it safe for us and were done in 12 hours. I know who I will be calling and using in the future for any HVAC and plumbing work we need done in the future.
