    Matthew came to my house today, gave me an estimate, and repaired my 40+ years old American Sttandard bathtub faucets that other plumbers said couldnt be done. Ive been using a universal repair kit for almost two years that finally wouldnt stop the leaking fitting anymore. His price was fair, and his attitude was great! I fully recommend his company, Legacy Plumbing, to anyone needing quality plumbing repair work!

    Our kitchen sink was draining slow so we called Legacy Plumbing and Beau came out within 2 days. He arrived on time and actually called about 10 minutes before to let us know he was on his way. He was extremely pleasant and knowledgeable and took care of our drain line, explaining what was wrong. When he was finished, he cleaned up what little mess was on the floor, then took the time to answer various questions we had concerning how to maintenance our drains to prevent this from happening again. We thought his price was reasonable and will use this company again if we ever need plumbing services. I cant say enough about Beau and how good he treated us. In a world where good customer service is rare, you can count on Legacy to treat you right.

    I had an older cast iron tub the was slow to drain and and had a broken stopper. Legacy Plumbing was able to get my work scheduled within a day of calling. The technician, Beau, was prompt, polite, personable, and professional. All work was completed in a timely manner and the area was left cleaner than he found it. No pressure for unnecessary work and a genuine interest in making sure the job was done right, all at a very reasonale price. Very glad I called Legacy Plumbing!!!

    We have been using Legacy for over 12 years and Matthew and his crew have been nothing but amazing. Repairs and replacement work have been over the years by his company. My mom only trusts him and he really does an excellent job helping put my senior mom at ease. My mom also has a a hard time with English and I have to say I truly appreciate that he doesn’t mind speaking slowly she understands since I am not around the local area anymore. You will not be disappointed if you’re looking for excellent craftsmanship and honest hard working tradesmen here.

    The laundry area was inundated due to a leak in the washing machine hose. I dialed Legacy Plumbing out of panic. They were incredible! In response, Nick reassured me that everything would be OK. Andre arrived immediately, found the leak, and made the necessary repairs. Excellent assistance at a crisis.

    Had water harm from a release that was disguised for quite a long time. Spill discovery from Heritage Plumbing was phenomenal! Scratch immediately distinguished the issue. As well as fixing the release, Andres group helped with the water cleanup. Unequivocally exhorted!

    Let me tell you, my house was a basket case. First I had a leak. With no idea as to where the leak was coming from, a toilet that was backing up something serious and a leaky pipe I knew of. Having had terrible plumbers in the past, as you can read in the previous statement, I was skeptical to hire another. But after talking to legacy on the phone I could tell there was professionalism in the way they spoke and knowledge behind the craft. They arrived on the job and promptly got to work, they started by diagnosing my leak, and showing how my water heater had failed. After asking if it was repairable they then showed me how it was not and found me a hell of a deal on a replacement. Moving onto to the clog, they were able to unclog the toilet and make a few repairs to it as well. The leaky pipe was a breeze for them to fix considering the other two jobs were a little more involved. They gave me advice and recommendations along the way and gave me a solid price. I would recommend this guy to any person whoever needed plumbing to be done

    This our 2nd time using Legacy plumbing and we definitely recommend them. Our service tech today, T, was on time, professional and knowledgeable. He identified the issue quickly, explained the work involved, and provided great service! You could tell he knew what he was doing, and the price for the service and quality of work is great.

    I called them on Thursday evening after five because my hot water heater was messing up AFTER someone came Wednesday to “fix” it. I didn’t want my family to be without hot water until the next week. They answered, were polite, professional, and sent someone out Friday to fix or replace my water heater. I opted to get a new water heater instead of getting it fixed. He replaced it right away. I am impressed with their responsiveness, their warranty on installation, and their general business. Thank you guys so much! I know who I’m calling for all of my future plumbing needs!

    Called at 7 guys came at noon shower was completely fixed and working 30 minutes later!!! Couldnt be happier with the price and service!!! Thought I was in for a huge repair and bill and was very very pleasantly surprised!! Will definitely be using Legacy again for any plumbing issues!     A plumber friend from another state recommended Matt Brewer and Legacy Plumbing and I am so glad he did! The plumber from Legacy, T, came the same day to fix my leaking second story tub drain and knew exactly what to do.     Legacy Plumbing responded promptly to our call about our leaking water heater. He ordered a new water heater which he installed in the attached garage and ran new water lines out to. I worked side by side with him and installed the 240v electrical while he ran water lines. Overall very pleasant to deal with and quite punctual. I recommend Legacy Plumbing for all your plumbing needs, I would call him again.

    I had a leak in my yard but no water was showing. After calling a couple places, I found Legacy who was willing to give an estimate for a service fee. Matt was a delightful young man with a polite and warm personality. He went beyond my expectations. I will use Legacy again if I need a plumber and have recommended them already to my friends.

    My 2nd floor bathroom had a deep clog, it started raining in my living room. I started calling plumbers on Thursday by Monday I was so frustrated. I left messages with 5 businesses, no calls back The sixth one was booked way out. He recommended Legacy. I found Matthew at Legacy on Monday. He answered my call. Set an appointment for the the next morning. He called before the technician came. T was on time, polite, professional, and didn’t make me feel like I didn’t know anything.     Maybe Eastern North Carolina is different, but where I’m from if you call a plumber late on a Friday afternoon, good luck. You better have a big bucket. These guys not only answered the phone (shocking) but were on site exactly when they said they would be. Worked until 7:30 PM replacing leaking hot water heater. Tech was knowledgeable and friendly. Definitely recommend these guys.

Even though it has grown from him (Matt) operating out of his house years ago when he was very young and is now a very sizeable business, the owner himself normally returns the calls. He is very ethical in his approach. Not inexpensive (but what decent plumber is!?🙄), but their honesty and quality of work makes the difference...😇

    I have used Matt with legacy plumbing on so many jobs. Residential bathroom renovation where we moved a toilet to different spot. I also bought a commercial building which I got a deal on. There was a terrible odor coming from the bathrooms. I found out from neighbors that tenants were moving out because no plumber could resolve the issue prior to me purchasing the building.The building inspector didnt catch it before I bought because we thought the odor was from the building being vacant for so long. I tried 2 other local plumbers, problem continued. I reached out to Legacy plumbing and he trouble shooted in two visits and resolved the issue. Its been a year and a half since then and odor has never returned. He has the best prices and does excellent work from my experiences. I also just had him do the plumbing and gas line work in a catering business. Fair prices, excellent work, and always squeezes me in. He also does everything quickly and I highly recommend him for both residential & commercial plumbing work in New Bern & surrounding areas.

    Called for my mom who has had 2 other plumbing companies come out in the last several months for issues with her kitchen sink ... and did not fix the issue! After several hundreds of dollars!! 😡Called on Monday night and someone was out there Tuesday morning!Very fast service and my mom was very happy!!     If you want a responsive, professional, fair-dealing plumber--call these guys.We had just bought a new home and when we arrived, we noticed an outside spigot leaking. Little did we know the drip was actually a huge gush from the pipe beneath our home in the crawlspace.Beau from Legacy came out and quickly solved the problem, even though it was a much bigger job than we imagined when we scheduled him. He was swift, and extremely skilled--and he also gave us peace of mind by looking at the rest of our plumbing in the crawlspace to ensure no other issues were lurking.Legacy is a hard-working, fairly priced company with professional, friendly staff.     Very happy with their whole process. Someone answered my call after hours for what we thought was a busted pipe in the wall. The plumber (David) arrived on time the next morning and checked several things thoroughly to try not to have to open the wall up. Finally figured out it was a leaking toilet. He called a few times during each step to tell me how much money I would need to spend at each step. New toilet installed within 2 hours and cleaned everything up even better than it looked before. David was very professional and friendly. Highly recommend!!!

    I am so impressed with Legacy Plumbing! Matthew came out to my house quickly, on a Sunday, the day after Hurricane Matthew. I had no water and he quickly resolved the problem. Legacy Plumbing will definitely be my go to plumbing company from now on. This is the second time I have called Matthew. The first time he came right out, too. Let me assure you it isnt because he isnt busy. He was working two other jobs and still made the time to take care of my plumbing problems. I wish I could give more than five stars.
