    Everyone from this company that I have spoken with has been phenomenal and truly felt like talking to family! The owner Dino is the first HVAC owner I’ve spoken with that helped me trouble shoot a problem over the phone! I had asked to send someone out with experience with our specific unit and they did just that without any issues! Doug was our technician and he showed up within the designated time frame. He notified me prior to arriving ( greatly appreciate as a homeowner with a pet and toddler). Doug was extremely knowledgeable with my unit and solved my noise issues within seconds of walking in the door. He answered ALL of my questions and took the time to make sure I understand the reason for the noise and steps to take to fix it. I would highly recommend Doug and this company! Will be sharing their info to my neighbors and friends! They really stand behind their company name!

    I had lots of plumbing work but wasnt able to find a reliable plumber. Finally, Daryl who provided me with Amazing service. He quickly diagnosed the problem—with the leaks of our showers—and explained the necessary repairs in clear terms. I appreciated that he took the time to answer all my questions without making me feel rushed. Also, very geniune and honest with his work and does his job perfectly. Very happy with the service! Onward, he will be my go-to plumber.

    Well we had one plumber come out and snake a drain to the septic and it worked for about a week and a half so another plumber came out named Daryl Brown and he was awesome he actually worked the snake more gave advice about a good drain products, was courteous kind and punctual!! Great service I recommend this company to everybody

    My AC unit was not working correctly so I called the Family. They scheduled an appointment for me that day, yes I was given a 3 hour window for a technician to come, but Julio was there on time and quickly made the necessary repairs. Julio was AWESOME, very personable, gave me a quick estimate, was honest, and very loyal to his business and supervisors. Because of Julio I would definitely use The Family again if other heating, plumbing or AC problems arise. Thank you.

    Called family plumbing heating and air on Monday morning due to our downstairs AC not bowing cold air. Was told a tech would be on site by 2pm.Gee arrived at 2pm and I explained the problem. Within 10 minutes he had the capacitor replaced and cold air blowing. He also showed me how to flush the clogged drain line for the AC unit.I highly recommend Family plumbing heating and air to anyone who needs HVAC service

    Our water heater busted and was draining into our garage. Dino was able to get us a replacement that night! Our tech was very Darrell knowledgable, he did great work and at a fair price especially for replacing the unit the day it broke. Would definitely recommend to anyone!

    Excellent customer service. Gee is very knowledgeable in air conditioning system.He helped me understand how to use the system as I have 2 control system to avoid malware as apparently my system is somewhat small for my home as to do overload it. He also helped me on how to clean the exterior of the system. He also educated in on the use of filter of different product.     I am glad a former happy customer of Family Plumbing Heating & Air, Inc recommended me to contact them to replace our home new AC/Heating unit. Doug was professional, personable and knowledgeable. He did not try to talk up a storm and sell me a bunch of things I did not need. Without any negotiating he gives me his quote and beat out a competitor. I told him thats good to go. I scheduled for a week later and the technicians showed up at the exact time with everything they needed for the install.     Hands down the best overall experience I have had with any plumber. Quick response time, knowledgeable, and professional. Our plumber (Gee) knew what the problem was with our HVAC right away, and he provided long-term fix for the issue. Gee was even courteous with our toddler, who was curious about what was going on.     Weve have been using Family Plumbing for years and we would use no one else.In February our heater wouldnt start and Doug Brewer was able to repair it quickly. He showed up on time, communicated the issue clearly and had us up and running in no time. Recently Family Plumbing called to remind us of getting our AC looked at before summer and Doug Brewer was the technician that came out and again he was on time and inspected the unit quickly.A few years back our tankless water heater failed due to age and when we called Family Plumbing they sent technician Darrell Brown and he was able to dive in quickly. The previous installation, NOT Family Plumbing, was done incorrectly and not to code. Darrell Brown showed us what all the issues were, gave us several options for what could be done, and once we decided he had us with hot water in no time. Again, like Doug Brewer, he was quick, efficient, and clearly communicated.Because we believe in this company so much when my wifes boss had cracked pipes in his foundation he asked her for recommendation. He had already got estimates from two other plumbing companys, one for 21k another for 28k, and they took care of the job for 8k, showed up on time, and my wifes boss said he couldnt be more satisfied.This week my father in laws water heater failed, and had a gas leak which was red tagged by SDGE. We called Family Plumbing and were lucky to have Darrell Brown sent out to address the issue. During the repair he found some ancient cracked cast iron piping. He took several photos of issues and like before gave us our options. Once we decided what we wanted he hopped right on it and communicated every step of the way.I dont write reviews very often, maybe 3 or 4, but after this last repair I wanted to make sure Doug Brewer and Darrell Brown knew how much I appreciated their efforts and that Family Plumbing knew the value of these technicians.

    Father’s Day weekend. Temp is the 90’s. AC does not turn on. Aargh!!! A late in the afternoon call got us a tech the following morning (Sunday). The tech Gee was patient and made a quick diagnosis and repair. I think this is the second time we used Family Plumbing. I think they will be our go to company!!

    11-4-24 - Just had my heater serviced for the fall and winter season. Another 5 star experience and Doug is so great, friendly and efficient.9-25-24 Today, Steven Garcia was at my home to resolve the issue with my hot water heater. He is amazing, so polite and friendly. He was able to get the pilot light ignited in just a minute.Kudos to Steven and the great company Family Heating & Air. they are always exceptional.Julio was very diligent in looking into the source of the condenser unit not coming on for the AC. He replaced the low voltage wires and fuse and got the system working in less than an hour. He was friendly , educational and professional. I love doing business this this company and have found all the people that have performed work for me several times to be of the highest quality and true professional. Tammy is always so welcoming and warm when i call and attempts to assist by trouble shooting issues. I would highly recommend this company and not go to anyone eles for services.

    Family Plumbing, Heating & Air or an excellent company! I used them a couple years ago for my air conditioner.Recently I had an emergency situation where they had to repair my water heater and my main valve line in the front yard simultaneously they did it in the evening in the freezing cold very polite very nice George was wonderful. Anthony installed the water heater. He was great and Jose came to make sure everything was good and Double check everything. Dino was a great access point for all the different employees that came out. love this company! 100%.

They’ve been servicing our air conditioning/heating system for years.On Sunday evening after walking our dog, our air conditioning stopped putting out cold air. We contacted Family Plumbing Heating & Air that night, left a message and unexpectedly received a return call a short time later. We were told that a technician would sent the next morning. The technician, Doug Brewer, arrived, diagnosed the problem, and gave us four options to fix our system. Doug was extremely courteous, knowledgeable, skilled and a credit to his company.     We called them at 7pm on a Saturday (our AC had stopped blowing and we are in the month of august when it can be 100+ ), they answered right away and had availability the next morning on a Sunday. Doug the repair man arrived promptly at 8am. Doug was awesome he had the issue diagnosed and repaired in an hour and a half. The price was reasonable. People like Doug keep companies in business and your house cool.

    The pilot light kept going out on my ancient furnace so I called another local heating company to come out and look at it. They said they couldnt look at for another week. I then decided to call Family Heating & Plumbing. They were at my home within an hour. After a thorough inspection by Nick, my decision was made to purchase a new furnace in lieu of ordering parts on an outdated furnace. The team of Nick and Florencio, who are super knowledgeable, friendly and hard working, arrived the next day and carefully removed the old clunker and installed the new efficient furnace. No more lighting the pilot light with a match. Ive gone digital!

    Im a Christian and the day before I was noticing a funky smell and my garbage disposal stopped working. I ran errands and two different plumbing trucks drove in front of me for some time. I told the Lord, I dont need a plumber, I have property management.Well on my way home Im driving and the big, fun rainbow truck of Family Plumbing pulls up beside me, 40 years in the business, picture of a family. That truck stayed beside or in front of me for 20-30 minutes, enough that it left an impression.I emailed property management and they said clogs are my responsibility! Well the Lord was right per usual! I knew just the plumber to call, the one the King of Kings personally recommended, Family Plumbing.I definitely had some anxiety but Darrell came by and did a full inspection, his calm and peaceful demeanor coupled with his years of experience was beyond wonderful.     I’ve used family pluming and air twice. They always send courteous and knowledgeable techs. They also come when they say they will. Our sink clogged the day after Christmas and they showed up the morning of the 26th right after we called and fixed the problem. I also used them for a A/C tuneup. I asked for quotes to replace my units and was shocked how much less expensive they were than the majority of companies. What they quoted was a fair price but it seems these days it almost impossible to find companies that are not just wildly ripping you off. So I was very pleasantly surprised when they quoted a price that I knew was fair but wasn’t a rip off. I will definitely continue to use them in the future. I appreciate the way they run their business. They also don’t pressure you which is so nice. The tech came out for my A/C tune up was Gee and he was very professional and easy to speak with. He had a good attitude which is so rare these days it seems.

    I called family plumbing and heating because of the great reviews. We had our furnace go down during a cold wave, and the technician came the same day, which is what the 1 star review is for. However, he didnt do anything besides listen to the motor, unplug it, and tell us to call our home warranty. For the $98 service fee, he could have inspected further to find that, in fact, the furnace did not have a dead motor and was still operational. Luckily, we found another company that helped us get our heat back.I also got a call from family plumbing and heating the next day asking for payment for the service, but we already paid the technician before he left. Im not sure what is going on, but we didnt get the same experience as the other reviews. I honestly wish I saved my money by not calling them.*Update*Family plumbing and heating contacted me to make things right. I appreciate their integrity. They sent out a tech named Doug with our refund. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and answered some questions we had.

    Great service! Dino and Jorge helped me out with the water heater installation when my water heater tank started leaking. They were extremely great at assessment, gave me options, and jorge was great at installing the water tank. There was a mold build up and they even helped with the mold and additional cover for the surface for the water tank to be placed on. Easy five stars!

    I highly recommend Family Plumbing, Heating & Air who I have used for many years. Air conditioner quit working, called next morning (on a Saturday) and they were out within two hours.     Giving this company a 5 star review. I called on a Friday to see if anyone could come out to help me resolve a gas leak I had in my furnace and they were able to get someone out within 20 min. Now thats awesome! Service guy, Doug, came out, awesome guy btw, I told him where the leak was since I initially called SoCalGas and they were the ones that found the leak, and he (Doug) quickly repaired the leak. Thankfully no parts were needed, it was just piping that wasnt screwed on tightly since the house was built in 2005!!!. He tightened it up and we ran a gas leak detection test and the leak was no more. Doug was awesome and kind. Definitely calling this company again in the future for any issues that may arise. Definitely recommended.

    Great customer service and great technician!! My A/C stopped cooling. Called them up and they had a technician out the next day. Julio the Tech. did an assessment on what the problem could be.     We had Family Plumbing Heating & Air as our GoTo service provider for over 9 years. They installed our air conditioning unit in 2010. They had the best bid and actually got back to us quickly and followed up. Only one of the other two bids requested actually came through and it was in an e-mail with no additional follow up. They recently came out to check why our heater furnace wasn’t coming on consistently. We had installed a NEST thermostat and thought that was the problem. Even a NEST tech came out and said our furnace was fine. But Julio from Family PH& A came out and diagnosed the real problem. The furnace wasn’t fine. So I was able to get the warranty company to come out and fix the furnace ( it was still under warranty). The warranty company tech identified the exact prob. as Julio.They also installed a new sink and vanity for our new home which looks great. It’s hard to put a price on integrity but Family Plumbing Heating & Air is priceless. We will always use them and refer them to friends and family.

    Our hot water heater went out 3 days ago. We called our warranty company American Homeshield they took 2 days to come out, arrived on a Wednesday. They ordered a thermocouple said they should be able to install on Friday. I received no communication regarding the replacement part so I called the company dispatched by the warranty company. I was told they were very busy and wouldnt be able to return until Thursday (6 more days) after I complained about not having any hot water for 3 days now and my kids need to be able to shower they were able to change the date to Tuesday. Still not acceptable for our family as that is 4 more days. Our family cant go a week with no hot water. I used Family Plumbing Heating & Air years ago and had a business card, so I called, they were more than accommodating. They were able to come out to repair the part in a few hours. We called them back and instead of fixing the problem we decided to replace the hot water heater they were able to accommodate our change and still come out in a few hours.     Our water heater went out on Thursday. I called Family Plumbing Heating & Air that afternoon for an estimate and time frame to replace our unit. They gave me all the details, brand, price, equipment, time frame, warranty etc. I said I would call back after getting two more estimates.After getting other estimates , Family Plumbing was right in the ballpark and time-frame for installation. Installation was to be the next day.On Friday morning Darrel showed up on time and ready to go. He went about the task of removing the old bad unit and getting the new plumbing ready for the new water heater. He picked up the new water heater and installed it with efficiency. Family Plumbing also saw too it that new equipment was installed to meet the latest city building codes. After completing the installation Darrell cleaned up everything and hauled it away. He tested the system and it worked perfectly. He explained how this new water heater worked and how to take care of the system. He gave me a few pointers I wasnt aware of. Ive used Family Plumbing before for other drain cleaning work and Ive found that they do an excellent job at competitive prices. All of the employees were helpful and easy to work with. Only when your water heater is broke do you realize how much you use it. Ill call them for additional work when and if needed. Give them a call if you need plumbing work.

    I called the morning I saw rusty water coming down my kitchen wall behind my cabinets. I got through immediately, explained what was going on and someone was out to our home within in a couple of hours the same day! They immediately referred us to a mitigation company who contacted us that same day and came out that same day as well. After the wall was opened up, dried out a little and ready for inspection, I called Family plumbing back and they had someone out again within a few hours, it was about 4pm when they came. They were able to diagnose the problem, go get the parts and have it repaired by 5:30pm that day! A leaky pipe in your wall is stressful enough without having to deal with a horrible company fixing it! From management to their plumbers/techs all were courteous, nice, respectful and attentive!     I love this company! Best Buy came out to deliver a new fridge. Best Buy workers broke my water valve behind fridge and told me to call a plumber and left in a hurry. I called Family Plumbing Heating and Air after many failed calls to other plumbers, and they were out in a jiffy. I explained to the receptionist that I had all my groceries out because of the refrigerator delivery and was in a panic. She acted immediately and had Darrel come out.     We called Family Plumbing to fix a couple of problems we were having with our bathroom plumbing. They sent one of their plumbers. He was prompt and courteous. He did a few things and the problem seemed to be fixed. However, the next day we discovered that it was not fixed. We were very disappointed as the situation was not tolerable. We thought we might call a different plumbing company to look at it. However, I called Family Plumbing again and talked with Dino. He assured me that they would be able to find the cause of the problem and fix it. They sent Darrell B. He was very pleasant and more importantly he was experienced and thorough. Again, the cause of the problem was very hard to diagnose. He tried many procedures but was really having difficulty. He was determined to solve the mysterious cause.     Family Plumbing to the rescue! Our 10+ year old a/c system crashed on Tuesday. Their response has always been quick (even on weekends and holidays; isnt that when you always need a plumber!) , professional and competitively priced, if not lower. Most recently, my water heater developed a problem that could have caused a fire hazard. FPH&A put me in touch with Darrell and he was out the next morning with a new water heater.     We recently had a whole new hvac system put in and could not have hired a better company to do it.     Had Family out last weekend to fix two of our toilets. We were concerned it was a main line problem but we were quickly assured that it was not (thank goodness, that would have been $$$$). The man that can out was VERY polite and was a pleasure to have in our home.     In the chaos of an irrigation problem a miss communication occurred that was quickly corrected by management. The specialist sent to assist me: listened, inspected my entire yard irrigation system, and explained where pressure regulators and filters had not been installed during initial yard design and construction. When an obvious failure occurred other results were less obvious and had been ignored by me and a previous plumbers call. Corrective action was planned, presented and expertly resolved.     This company is a life saver! Im a new homeowner. On a Sunday night, I broke the float that controls the water level of my swimming pool. That caused a steady stream of water running into the pool, causing it to overflow. I and two neighbors couldnt find where to turn the water off. Even turning the water off to the house didnt stop the steady stream of water entering the pool. I called one plumber who wouldnt be able to come out until midday Monday. Then I called Family Plumbing Heating and Air. The lovely lady I talked to listened to and understood my problem and suggested the shut off valve was probably with the irrigation equipment. She helped me find that at the house (over the phone, mind you), and I found the valve that controls the water into the pool. Immediate problem solved! I cant thank Family Plumbing Heating and Air enough. I even offered to pay them, which they politely refused. In the future, theyll be the first I call when I need a plumber!

They have ALWAYS been quick to respond, which is so important when water leak happened and AC died in summer heatwave! With temps above 100, and within 2 hours they had a temp AC unit for my 80 yr old mom and replacement unit within days.     We used Family Plumbing & Air /Heat to replace our air conditioner a couple of weeks ago. We called 4 other local companies to come and give a quote since this is an expensive repair. Family Plumbing and A/C was the best price. A fee days later, we were added to the schedule and they came and installed the unit. As with many projects, things didnt go as planned and guys were here until late. There were a few cosmetic things that were detected after words and a simple call into the office, I was told they would be repaired. Due to the busy a/c season they had to schedule us out, I totally get it. There was plenty of communication and professionalism along to way. I would will continue to use this company and highly recommend.
