Eric and crew were great. They came and were personable and honest. They cleared my clog and advised me on all the other plumbing issues. I felt they were honest and not trying to make money on things I didn’t need. I would recommend them to anyone. They also came to my home which is not local to anyone. They did not make excuses on why they don’t service my location they just took my call and showed up. I will use them again.

We had an emergency situation in which we desperately needed a plumber. Direct Plumbing called us back right away and got us on the schedule. They were professional and super friendly. We needed to change timing due to timing and our young kids and they were flexible and compassionate. Casey even cleaned up the bathroom after! Not expected. He was a great and well definitely be using Direct Pro for future plumbing jobs.

Cant recommend this company enough. I flooded my house late at night, they came right out and helped. They stayed until past 2am cleaning up the water and helping move furniture and other items.During the dryout process, they had to take photos and things off my walls while I was at work. I am just now (6 months later, thanks insurance) unpacking the things they had packed for me, and getting my house put pack together.... I am so impressed with the caution they used to pack my breakable items. They went the extra mile to make sure nothing got ruined. Thank you so so much!Also, during these past 6 months of dealing with insurance, Ive had a lot of random inspectors and contractors in and out.... there are some really unprofessional and creepy people in this industry. I am a single woman and had a lot of unwelcome and inappropriate things said to me. The guys at Direct Plumbing were super professional and kind in every single interaction. I really really really appreciate that they kept things professional and did not make creepy comments to me. I never felt uncomfortable being alone in my home with any of them, they just kind of felt like family members. I think thats a huge deal, and Im just so happy to have them in our area, and have recommended them to everyone I know.Long story short: hard workers, excellent at their craft, go the extra mile, very respectful.... Had a wonderful experience with Direct Plumbing! My outside water was not working due a rusty old valve. They came and did some troubleshooting, but in the end we had to have it replaced. They dug up the line, replaced the rusty valve, installed a neat valve box, and also installed a frost-free hydrant. Reasonable cost, timely, and hassle free. Super kind and easy to work with folks. Would definitely recommend to a friend!

Very professional and will get the job done for you pronto! Not only do they know water systems but were great carpenters as well and put everything back together after crawling under the house for days. They came back to insulate the pipes and lay down a vapor barrier , which the house did not have when i bought it and inspection recommended, something i certainly didnt want to and cannot do any more. Left my house and yard spotless , above and beyond!!

We returned to our house in March to a water disaster.The water needed to stay turned off, so no water at all.We called plumbing businesses in the Pullman/Moscowarea, they were all unavailable, mostly weeks out.We happened to notice Direct Plumbing on Google Maps.One call, and they were at our house that day.In a very short time, they had suspended leakage, andarranged reliable work-arounds to restore water usein the house until permanent repairs could take place.They thoroughly documented the damage. They usedvisual inspection, moisture detectors, and infraredand visual photography to assess and document the damage.They then assembled this and other information, suchas dimensions, into a fact-filled report on the damage.This report was very useful for interaction with ourinsurance company.In addition to the damage report, the intended repairswere well documented with detailed estimates. Repairstook place sequentially, and the invoices matchedthe estimates, no surprises for us.The two principals, Eric and Casey, were very professional,communicated well, including the use of electronic media,and were open to questions and suggestions. They explainedthe rational for repairs, and gave good advice. Theirassistants were also professional.We were impressed with the diversity in skills. In additionto plumbing, they repaired drywall and damaged subfloor,installed flooring, removed and installed cabinets,subcontracted for electrical work when necessary, andrepaired a leaking skylight that included structuralchanges to prevent leakage in the future.

And this is a small thing but I really appreciated that they brought paper booties to wear walking through the carpeted house! In the past we’ve had lots of workers who don’t and then we had to spend time scrubbing out muddy footprints across 3 rooms after they left.

My sewer line was completely blocked. DPS came on day 1 got it going and everything started draining.... but then it plugged up again later the same day. They returned that evening after finishing all their other scheduled jobs and kept working on it trying to get those tree roots out but my house is so far to the city street their standard equipment line wasnt long enough.They came back AGAIN the evening of day 2 after their full scheduled day of calla and finally got my sewer line running clear and clean and still only charged me for ONE service visit!They are now the go-to plumbers for this old house!

We had a leak under our house and they did a full water removal, dry-out, and put new insulation and everything back even better than it was before! I had to have my hall tub shower replaced. Eric was very professional in setting everything up. Tyler and Casey worked VERY WELL together....it was a bit of a challenge to get the new tub in and they worked together to come up with the best solution & it worked. I truly appreciated the attention to detail - especially when caulking everything - Tyler really made sure to have smooth, clean lines around the fixtures, seams and even toilet (had to remove during install). Eric was such a blessing yesterday! After our double digit, sub zero temperatures, my 117 year old house found itself in a scary spot. My pipes froze and the expanding ice actually broke off a valve in addition to several other highly corroded and leaking areas. I called Eric at 7am and he was able to arrive around 1pm. No other plumbers in the area were able to help, so I was overjoyed to have such a friendly and professional plumber answer my call. In fact, I am so pleased with this experience that I will be hiring Eric to redo ALL of my plumbing and install a new water heater, water softener, and whole house water filter. I’ve been on a wait list just to get a quote from the other plumbers in the area for 1.5 years!! We had our pipes freeze during the winter storm right before we were supposed to leave town for the weekend. I called them at 7:30 and they were here diagnosing the problem before 9. They found the freeze underground underneath our deck and were prepared to dig it up in negative temperatures on the spot, however our landlord declined the service. Nonetheless they helped me fix the door to the crawl space free of charge to implement the landlords short term solution and saved me at least a half hour in that weather. I will be recommending them to friends and hiring them again whenever I need a plumber.

I was very impressed with owner Eric and his apprentice who were very professional and polite. I appreciated being able to speak directly with Eric on the phone ashe was able to give me an estimated quote beforehand. During the visit he patiently showed me and explained everything he had to do to replace 3 leaking compression valves under my kitchen sink and also repair a jammed garbage disposal. The visit was so refreshing in comparison to other plumbers I’ve had in my home over past 10 years. I prefer to support smaller privately owned businesses in Vancouver like Direct Plumbing versus all the predatory national “plumbing” corporations out there now. The difference is night and day.

Eric and staff came by for a free estimate and let me know my options for a toilet install and removal. I truly appreciated them valuing me and my home by wearing shoe covers and they were able to replace it SAME DAY!First, I went the route of buying online through Home Depot and using their installation service. The plumber who came out was super helpful and let me know I purchased the wrong size toilet. He also recommended that I go directly with a plumber in case there are any underlying issues they can tackle. All of this took 3 weeks just to find out it wouldn’t work out.So when I contacted Direct Plumbing Solutions, Nicholas was able to schedule me within a week. I asked Eric if he could source a toilet with my specifications, and he was able to pick it up and install it! They were in and out and able to fix a minor leak after the install (which the Home Depot contractor wouldn’t be able to do due to their strict scope of work). Just so glad to have our bathroom in working order and so quickly!

Upon entering, they inquired on our two problems, put on shoe coverings/booties and went to work.They were able to quickly resolve the first problem which was pipes knocking. I appreciated how they offered to go with the most affordable option, before deciding the problem may have been more in depth.Our second issue was with a leaky shower, and it turned out the cartridge just needed replaced. Again. I changed it once previously so its likely I screwed something up. Hah!If we have any other problems, we will definitely call Direct again. Ask them to come and do an estimate to find out why I had little water pressure in one bathroom sink...that was quickly fixed. Then, since I was going to pay for a service call anyway, I had him look at my water heater plumbing as the pipes were old and we couldnt use the shut off valve. He offered to give the estimate (three choices/three prices with and without guarantees) but also said he had time to do the work while he was there, if I didnt want to get another appointment. This is almost always their preferred way of doing a job... saves time for everyone. He replaced the old piping, added a shut off valve that is much easier to use than the old, wheel handle type, added an expansion tank and secured it tank with metal belts. Tyler Reddinger went above and beyond to help (checked a couple of small things, as well as the work above) and charged a very reasonable amount. He also told me about your maintenance plans and I am considering one of those. Courteous and respectful young man who did an excellent job and checked out everything I had questions about. I will only have this company do plumbing work at my home in the future. You should call them! You wont be sorry.

I cant say enough nice things about Eric Hanson! My kitchen sink would not drain and believe me I tried everything from snaking the drain to replacing pipes. When Eric came out he ended up having to cut into a drainage pipe which then started pouring out black sludge (we still dont know what in the world it was). He was able to clear the blockage and get everything draining smoothly AND cleaned up to the point the area is now cleaner than before he came out. It was a really big mess and he did all of the work with good humor and a smile. Eric has come out to my house several times and always does an amazing job and is always very professional. I cant recommend him enough!
