I’ve had an experience worth writing a review about, which isn’t always the case when work is being done on your home, regardless of trade. I was immediately comfortable with Shane and his team, who were not only personal, professional and courteous straight from the get go (which extends to my first call to Tina for the quote) - but were incredibly knowledgeable and you could feel the pride in the work and the pedigree of the training and 4+ yr apprenticeship program their team goes through.I had a team of four at my home for a full day - who replaced my main breaker panel, installed a home generator connection and completed a number of different repairs and upgrades resulted from an inspection report on the new home I bought.As someone who has mild OCD when it comes to “neatness” and quality of finish😉 - this team exceeded expectations with tidy cables runs, nearly sealed boxes, and printed labels for the panel box. Cosmetics aside, what impressed me the most was their focus on safety and took extra measures to bring the house up to latest NEC code requirements. Even put in an extra light for a garage closet while there were there.Very impressed and would highly recommend.

On January 9, 2024, technicians Joseph and Keegan from Murphys Electric, a husband and wife owned company, came to our home to install two much needed additional electrical outlets in our patio area. From the start, their level of professionalism and expertise were evident. The work was done better than great! So much so, that once they were done we stopped them and had them do an additional outlet in a separate part of our outdoor area, And as for the company itself, also very professional, very responsive, and very reasonable prices. Fast, efficient and the walk through on how to use the equipment is easy to follow. Highly recommend. The attached picture is of an interlock system with a portable generator hook up. Took them maybe 45 minutes to install.

Youll love this organized, professional company if youre in need of a residential electrician. I was able to text with them to set up my appointment. They were flexible on the day of my appointment when I needed to adjust the time. The electricians were polite, respectful and professional while inside my home. They installed three light fixures (sconce, chandelier and semi-flush mount on the ceiling.) They were quick and tidy. They made sure everything was placed exactly where I wanted it, and adjusted my chandelier when I asked them to hang it just a little bit higher. They made a repair to my outdoor mechanical timer. I highly recommend Murphys Electric.

She also informed me about the necessary steps to contact the power company for a work order.I decided to go with Murphy’s Electric, and I’m so glad I did! They completed the job efficiently and even installed a special breaker to protect my devices from lightning strikes. I would give Murphys Electric more than 5 stars if it would let me. Their owner himself came out and looked at my job and quoted me who was so pleasant. His price was so honest and fair. They set up the job for about 4 days or so out because we had to get in touch with 811 (Call before you Dig) first. But, I loved how fast they were. Then his team came out. They were so professional and polite. Did amazing work in my yard. If I have any electrical problems in my house I will be calling them and you should too. I just moved to TX and was taking a chance because I didnt know any companies and they could have ripped me off not knowing the pricing out here and they didnt they gave me a great deal and are a family run business. I usually dont write reviews, but I just was blown away by Murphys. I had a brand new dryer that was not working properly and Shane quickly pinpointed that only one of the two breaker switches were flipped, thus supplying power although insufficient. I was so happy it was a simple fix and proceeded to pay for the service call. Shane wouldnt hear of it and did not charge me at all!! We have used them in the past and found them to always be very professional, excellent at what they do, priced right, and just plain good people. And now, more than ever, they are the ONLY electricians I will EVER call. Tina, who is their office manager, is amazing as well. Very responsive and helpful in trying to diagnose what she can over the phone prior to the electrician arriving. I really love these guys. And I recommend them to everyone. They are local. They love what they do. I just cant say enough good things about them. This is the kind of business you look for and treasure when you find them. Keep up the great work!

Very knowledgeable & responsive, Murphy’s Electric stayed on the phone with me for over 30 minutes & listened to my concerns about a breaker that was shown to be overheating & plug outlets that weren’t GFCI protected. They let me know what possible causes could be & also the hazards that could occur if the issue isn’t addressed. They came out & had my issues resolved in no time, when it was time to pay for the job being done they listed everything that was repaired along with pictures of the issues being resolved which made me even more comfortable with the great price they quoted me. I will definitely be returning to them with my upcoming electrical needs.

We had problems with the Main Breaker on our homes panel. Murphys got back to me immediately. Set up an appointment for 2 days later. Kept their appointment. Sent 2 qualified staff over to diagnose the issue....And they came with a variety of replacement breakers just in case! Used an infrared thermometer to locate the hot spots. Diagnosed the problem as a loose main feed which had overheated and caused heat damage to our main breaker. Swapped out the breaker, tightened everything in the panel with a torque wrench. Highly recommend using them. Fair price for great work.

I was lucky enough to find Murphys Electric via a Google search and I cannot express how extremely pleased we are with their service, professionalism, timeliness, flexibility, GREAT pricing and their knowledge of the services we needed. We knew this wouldnt be an easy job since the old home had been there for well over 30 years, which meant the electrical wiring was likely in need of repair/replacement especially since the mobile home we were moving in was a lot newer/ would pull more power. Shane gave me a quote before any work took place and I was told by another electrician that it was an awesome price and well below what he wouldve quoted us. Knowing the amount of work that was done and the repairs that had to be made, I fully expected that original quote to be modified to cover their unexpected expenses... but is wasnt! The quote I was given before the work even started was the exact price I paid in the end. That alone, in my opinion, is enough reason to choose this company for your electrical needs!But theres more... we had Nick and Joseph scheduled to be on site at 9am on a Fri. when the new home was being delivered to reconnect the service. Not only did they have to wait 2 hours for the new home to get there but we were then informed by the movers that they couldnt do any electrical work until the home was completely installed which would be later that evening. Knowing they couldnt just wait around all day, understandably, and that they didnt work on weekends I was worried wed have to wait another week to get the electric reconnected. To my surprise they agreed to come back out on Sat. morning to get the job done. Nick and Joseph showed up at 8am sharp, worked their magic in this insane summer heat, ended up having to go get additional supplies to complete the job, yet had a smile on their face and a great attitude the ENTIRE time. Squirrels had invaded my attic and chewed through the insulation of my electrical wiring. It was a major concern due to a few wires being exposed and I was worried about it being a possible fire hazard. I went online and reviewed several electrical companies and read the client reviews. I decided to go with Murphys Electric due to the stellar reviews they had received. Shane contacted me immediately and scheduled the repair. He sent out one guy from his work crew by the name of Lucas. Lucas was extremely polite and professional. He examined the wiring in the attic and told me that the damage isnt nearly as bad as I had originally imagined. He replaced a couple and repaired the others and 90-minutes later, the job was complete. Lucas could have easily told me that the wiring throughout the whole house needed to be re-done and I wouldnt have been able to dispute that assessment other than getting another electrician out to get a 2nd opinion. These guys at Murphys Electric are the real deal. All of the positive reviews they have are entirely legit and I am very pleased to add mine as well. Nick and John are a bang up team first off I had a previous company that wasted my time and I was in a jam to get my rental up and running these guys came estimated what needed to be done and got it done they even left a clean workspace and disposed of the old fan. And gave me a decent price.
