I was pleased with Garden City’s service. The technician was prompt, polite and seemed knowledgable. He was able to pinpoint the problem I was having with water pressure. Why four and not five stars? For less than an hour’s work (not counting travel time, which was very minimal) I thought the price was much too high—$320–no parts involved. I think half that amount would have been more reasonable. But I have no complaints about the service.

Kyle could not have been more professional and ethical. He told me exactly what is wrong with my air conditioning unit and the options for repair/replace. Kyle built my trust with his obvious knowledge and expertise. I felt like he really cared about getting the best outcome for me. I would highly recommend Kyle. Hes smart, friendly and worked quickly and efficiently. What else could I ask for?Kyle turned me over to Phil in the commercial hvac department. Phil understood the bad position we were in, as the storm had killed our stores air conditioning during a severe heat wave. What stands out the most during my experience with Phil was his responsiveness. He kept me informed every step of the way--and that means everything. He worked quickly to find a unit for me and to get it installed. For once, I was actually surprised at how quickly the job got completed! I was expecting many weeks of waiting, but it was days. Phil and Kyle both exceeded my expectations with their friendly, expert service. I wont go anywhere else in the future! So thankful to have worked with both of them.

Credit card or check accepted. Technician has tablet to work from. Could not have asked for more professional experience.

Garden City is great. Weve used them for plumbing, HVAC maintenance, and HVAC install (boiler and supplemental heat pump) for the past five years. They arent always the cheapest option, but they do great work and stand by everything they do. Just as importantly, theyve responded quickly when weve had emergencies (e.g., no heat in January). Would highly recommend.

This is windy, but youre looking at a sizeable, long-term investment in your familys comfort.My wife and I (both in our 70s), Had been discussing replacing the Contractor Grade (read cheap. 28 yrs. old) furnace and air conditioning unit, which worked, BUT, was eating our winter bank account in large bites due to the cost of propane, and the inefficiency of our noisy furnace. After -30 degree for weeks last winter. I had had the course.Id been doing some research regarding the new heat pump(ground source) systems. After reading many reviews and talking to friends, everything pointed to Lennox HVAC, which comes in a variety of HE units, depending on your particular needs.I picked up the Lennox brochure at Costco, made contact and was directed to Garden City Heating and Plumbing. Was contacted by C.J. and made an appointment to meet with him.He came to our house, dressed in business casual and ended up even getting into the crawl space and looking at duct work!He left, and put together a proposal with three different options(he DID NOT) push the most expensive.Long story longer, we signed the contract, C.J. ordered the equipment. Installers (Keith & Zack) showed up and it was game on! Out with the old, & in with the new. These guys are professionals! No wasted motion, no BSing, no leaving for lunch and coming back in time to head back to Missoula..They got things done. And done superbly! EVERYTHING was done precisely, clean and professional. Same thing on the 2nd day. Install complete, tested for heat and A/C in my presence. Taught me how to use, who to call if I did not remember details. Rolled up to leave, with no sign left behind, of them ever having been there!That evening, I was contacted by C.J. to see if we were happy...WE ARE! He informed me that if it fit for us, he and another fellow would like to come and do the final inspection of the install. The two of them arrived, went through it with a fine -toothed comb and were pleased. They connected my phone with the Lennox app (I was clueless how to do it). In finishing, they explained how this system is wired into Lennox home office engineering section, to send an alert if any malfunction or pending problem arises within the system, which notifies Garden City for the correct response to alleviate any failure prior to occurrence. And no, there is no cost for this safeguard.My apologies for the lack of brevity, but you want it to be a good investment. Not a poorly thought out one, you need to hear it.Thank you C.J. & Garden City for providing such a great experience for us. I now look forward to a cold winter full of chill and lotsa snow! The install and installers were great! The work was completed quickly and they cleaned up well.The office staff - very not great. When I confirmed an appointment time or detail with one office staff, another would call back an hour or day later asking the same questions. When I referred to information sent in emails, they couldnt find the emails, even though they had replied to the same emails.Finally, when setting the date for the city inspection, Garden City office staff told me I would have to be home from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on a given day, with the inspector showing up some time in those nine hours. When I called the city about this, they said I could choose AM or PM and get a call from the inspector about 30 minute before coming to my house. Garden City had not given the inspector my phone number.I dont know if I would use Garden City again - the problems with the office staff left me very uncomfortable about the competence of the rest of the staff.

Although they were flooded with requests for help, their extremely professional office team sent out Ben at the late hour end of his working day. Within 10 minutes, he correctly diagnosed the problem & quickly fixed it. He had an idea how to avoid this problem in the future & returned when the parts came in. Alex was on time, polite and communicated very well. He checked the kitchen sink drain and ten used a snake on it for about thirty minutes with what appeared to be minimal results. He determined the drain was frozen, not just plugged as I thought. He recommended getting as much heat as possible under the sink and the overall area of the pipes. When Alex left the sink would still not drain. I did what I could about applying heat in the areas suggested and left the house for about two hours to run some errands. When I arrived home the sink was dry and the drain was was working. So I think that it was Alexs effort with the snake that made the difference. Thank you very much.

Levi and Gary were amazing, when the main drain pipe backed up they showed up within an hour of the call, and were able to identify the issues immediately. They got right to work, and got everything working again on the first visit, and they cleaned up their work area perfectly. 10/10 best plumber to call when you need somebody in a pinch. We are very pleased with the new Lennox HVAC system – new furnace, heat pump, thermostat, whole-house air purifier –recently installed by Garden City Plumbing and Heating. We would recommend this company and Lennox products to anyone looking to install a new or upgrade their current systems. As we explored different product and HVAC company options, we were particularly impressed by Devan, the residential HVAC consultant who met with us to discuss our needs and available options. The front-end, detailed attention given to our needs and questions about particular options and products was exemplary; this created confidence that we were really being listened to carefully. We were impressed by the detailed set of options suggested, and after more questions were asked, information provided, and tweaks we requested, we accepted the bid. Garden City is not the least expensive company in Missoula, nor the only competent one. We met with two other companies in this process. But the Garden City experience was qualitatively different and, for us, better. No one else gave us such detailed information, or was so specifically responsive to our queries and stated HVAC needs that would go beyond installation to maintenance and, if needed, troubleshooting. Installation proceeded on time, and seamlessly. The installers were a pleasure to work with. They arrived when they said they would, took time to answer all of our questions, and they left a clean, tidy workspace. Along the way, we had to deal with the need for an electrical upgrade, some minor asbestos abatement, and air duct/vent cleaning. Garden City helped to coordinate the electrical work – which also was excellent – and provided us with solid referrals for the other services. All of this strengthened our sense that this was a company that we could rely on for maintenance and any troubleshooting that may arise. In the meantime: its getting cold, and the system is working perfectly. Were so glad we chose Garden City Plumbing and Heating for our extensive HVAC needs.

I have been thoroughly impressed with Garden Citys responsiveness and promptness with my plumbing and HVAC emergencies and maintenance. It seems that our furnace likes to go out on the weekends or Holidays, and Garden City has always been able to help out. One year, during the cold snap in January, our furnace went out on New Years Day when our daughter was a month old and Garden City sent a technician to fix it. We have since been on their annual maintenance program and have had no issues since. Would highly recommend them!

And the guy who came out to “replace” my 13 year old water heater i.e. sell me s new one, simply said I don’t need a new one and flushed the crud out of the old one.Sorry any other plumbers and hvac guys in Missoula, I have my guys and they are Garden City Plumbing and Heating. I manage a large 7 story building in downtown Missoula and having a good plumbing and mechanical firm working in my building is imperative. I have been using Garden City Plumbing and Heating for several years and they are the best firm I have ever worked with. I have had many opportunities to work with the plumbing and mechanical side of this firm. All of their techs are top notch and do an excellent job, are through and clean up when the job is complete. They have after hours emergency service which is a huge relief when you need service after business hours. Garden City has a preventative maintenance program that is great and they keep on top of all the mechanical systems to keep them operating efficiently and will let you know when you should start budgeting for replacement. Their office staff is very friendly and lets you know when the tech has been dispatched. Some of the office staff came to my building personally to see the equipment that is in the preventative maintenance program so when I call for service they are familiar with what the tech will be working on.I Highly recommend Garden City Plumbing and Heating.

When the air conditioner starts to go out at your business, it’s a problem, especially if your business is a daycare center filled with tiny humans and it’s super hot out! Garden City Plumbing & Heating got here the very next day after I called, even though they were booked and didn’t expect to be able to get to us until the following Monday. They repaired and serviced the air conditioner quickly and efficiently and at a very reasonable cost. The technician was extremely nice and professional, explained the problem to me, and even fixed the system without waking up the kids who were napping! I’ll be calling Garden City Plumbing & Heating for all our plumbing and heating needs!

This company is very responsive, they are careful to not damage anything in their work area, they bring in new equipment and remove the old and left the area clean. All components were tested before they left. They were amazing and truly seemed to enjoy the job they are doing. Will continue to use them if we have future needs.
