It can be difficult to find honest tradesman but look no further. Rick is extremely thorough, professional and honest (even if it’s not financially advantageous for his business). Rick & Maddy have earned a lifelong customer, and referral for anyone needing plumbing work.Rick came in to assist a contractor with some bathroom work and will now be using him for another bathroom remodel as well as installing a water softener.Thank you for everything thus far in helping make our house a home.

Fred’s was great. I needed new water heater (mine was still working but very old) they got me scheduled within a week. They came and with 1-2 hours had the old one out and new one in. Very clean, friendly and professional. Out of 4 pluming companies I called they were the only ones that would give me a rough quote over the phone, and in the end it was very accurate.

Rick and Maddy are the best and have earned our loyalty as customers! They do business the right way: great communication, genuine care, and a focus on avoiding unnecessary cost to the customer. Rick is a master of his craft and a pure professional. When our water heater started to malfunction two years ago, he identified a straightforward solution that saved us hundreds of dollars and even patched up an exposed part of our utility closet free of charge. Hes always found time to fit us into his schedule for jobs large and small, and we trust him with everything that drips or heats. More recently, he inspected our furnace and conducted efficient maintenance to ensure it works well into the future. It means so much to know we can trust Rick and Maddy every time, and we recommend them to everyone in the Missoula area. They are awesome!

Freds plumbing is easy to work with, they do a fantastic job of fitting us in when we need them. Its also nice to have a plumbing contractor that doesnt just want to sell you all new parts. If they can make it work with what is there, and it will be a quality fix, they will do that. If they feel you need something new, you really do! We feel good about their pricing, and their service has been great.

I can’t stress enough how professional and friendly both Rick & Maddie are. They provided a water heater installation and removal. They kept me updated on scheduling and their knowledge of the products and local codes are top notch. They responded quickly to my very first phone call, came out and looked at my problem, called back on product availability, and completed the install within 2 days. I cannot explain the amount of appreciation I have for Fred’s Plumbing. I called in a panic because our whole house was vibrating and felt like it was going to explode. I was terrified and scrambling with my dog and newborn. Rick’s wife answered the phone and immediately sent Rick up to our house during his busy morning. Rick investigated and swiftly figured out the problem and fixed it. In the midst of it all, he provided thorough explanation and reassurance! I went down a list of plumbers trying to find one that could come figure out my plumbing problem. Some weren’t taking new clients, some never returned the call, some were scheduled out two weeks or more. I hit the jackpot with Fred’s Plumbing & Heating, Inc. The receptionist was so helpful and she put me in touch with Rick who came the same day after he’d finished his last job. He diagnosed the problem, thoroughly explained it to me, showed me how to fix it myself if needed, had good advice, and the charge was very reasonable. I’ll go back to Fred’s next time I need one. Definitely recommended.
