We discovered Hansen Family when we needed help with a leaky pipe in our home. We are first time homeowners with a home that needs some TLC and we were learning as we went and were so worried this leaky pipe would be an expensive headache. They not only fixed the pipe but helped install a shutoff valve because he wanted us to get our moneys worth for the minimum he had to charge to come out. From then on, they have been our go to when our home need help! A couple years later we lost water pressure in our home and they were the first ones we called and let them install the new water heater required to fix the issue. This summer, our A/C was not quite cooling as well as it used to so yet again, Hansen Family was who we called. They discovered our unit had shifted on our roof and left two gaps and we were literally cooling our roof off! Had we not trusted our gut, and called them out, we could have been in for a major headache later! They saved us so much by resealing the unit and securing it so it doesn’t shift again as well as unclogging a drain. Our husky is one happy pup and my old man pittie literally won’t leave the window because he wants the tech to come back and give him some love and pets again. Thank you Kole for making my pups happy today and cooling our home off and thank you to any tech who has saved our little project home time and time again. We cannot recommend this company highly enough for both quality of service and affordability. Every single person we have dealt with has been nothing but kind and treated us like family. One review isn’t enough to thank them for all the help they have given us to help make our little project home a happy home. Our recent warranty work was done by Todd. Todd gave us all the information needed to understand why our system was having problems after only 6 years. We thought it best to add a surge protector since our utility company does these little 2 second blips that caused one of the things going wrong. He also told us about a class action suit against our well known manufacturer for a coil leak. Our unit missed that lawsuit by one year.I cant explain, to what extent, I appreciate Todds range of knowledge and input. He is very personable. He works quickly and efficiently as well as the ladies in the office Jennifer & Brittany.My special thanks to Todd. And thank you all at Hansen Family.

I had a Frankenstein looking plumbing setup for my backyard hose. It was a dumpster fire and wasn’t a good situation. In addition- when I had my pool auto-fill installed a few years ago- it was plumbed into a hot water line by some random company.Today I had the pleasure of meeting Mark from Hansen Family Plumbing. What a great guy. He saw the problem and offered a great solution at a very fair price. In addition- Mark went out of his way to help secure some pipes to my wall- when that wasn’t part of his problem today. He just saw it wasn’t done (and I was clueless) and took care of it.I’m so excited to have an amazing plumbing referral in the event something goes bad. Run- do not walk, to get Hansen Family to your spot. The quality and craftsmanship is second to none.In the fall I’m looking forward to Mark installing a new tankless water system. I used Hansen once before to service my A/C, so they sent me an text reminder that my system was due for a checkup. I texted back and they actually were able to send out a guy within two hours! Matt showed up looking professional, smiling and friendly. He hopped up on the roof and did his thing, then came down and gave me a report I could easily understand on how my 5 year-old system was doing. Matt cleaned the outside coils and checked the system thoroughly- and sent me an email with all the details and specs. Matt left without leaving a mess and was super courteous. The visit only took about 35 minutes. Hansen scores again for the win!

Have always gotten great service from this company, they get the job done. Home warranty folks you have to call back all the time, they charge you umpteen dollars each visit, kind of a recurring revenue stream but they dont fix the problem. Hansen is not like that. Hansen came by and fixed a bad wax seal on a toilet that we had home warranty plumbers come back three times to try and fix but failed, because the home warranty guys only get paid for a certain amount of time, then they have to split. Hansen came by to troubleshoot and fix a leaky faucet on a PVC pool pipe outside that a guy from Thumbtack had poorly replaced and charged me dearly for, clearly not solving the problem but creating a new one. The new copper pipe Hansen put in and fixed to the wall didnt even cost as much as that Thumbtack job did. Very happy with these folks . . . for now!

Update 6/17/24 - OK I have raised my original review from 1 to 4. Still had the inconvenience of being without AC for the weekend of 110 degrees+. However Matt showed up 2st thing Monday AM and quickly resolved my issue (wire from thermostat to new blower installed last week disconnected). He showed that he cares about the work and materials (even calling out what the tech should have done upon installing new motor) being used and even advised us about what, if anything should be replaced in upcoming years. Previous tech had told me to replace full system for 15K. Due to Matts trustworthiness, I will stay with Hansen, requesting him personally for any future HVAC needs. I was thinking after I got this fixed, I would never use Hansen again. Appreciate the help!6/14/24 - I dont know what to say. I had tune ups done on my AC units at both my personal residence and rental condo in March. 1st, I paid $1,332.82 based on Matts recommendation on my rental until. Replaced 3 capacitors and a blower motor. Well 2 months later the blower motor was bad and goes down. Tenants call me with no AC I have to pay for the family to stay in a hotel. Matt comes out and replaces blower motor again, says the part was bad but under 1 year warranty. OK great, I moved on. Well 2 days ago my personal residence, no AC. Set up an appt for next day, they call and cant get out until another day. OK I spend 2 nights in hotel. DJ comes out and says we need new blower motor and capacitor for $1538, even though I paid $200+ for new capacitor as part of original tune up less than 3 months ago. OK whatever, I paid the bill today 2 days later on Friday. Well, blower goes out again tonight and no appts until Monday. I am back at a hotel for the weekend. This is crazy because before I got tune ups performed in Spring this year, I had not required any service calls for at least 5 years. Now, I will need a 3rd visit this season.

Had a leak in our bathroom that seemed to be coming from behind the wall. Scheduled online with Hansen and they were out here first thing the following morning. Preston was professional and courteous. Quickly diagnosed the issue and realized we had a bigger problem with a leak that caused mold damage and needed restoration. He immediately got a restoration company on-site and ensured that I understood the whole process and who would handle what. We needed to allow the restoration company time to do their assessment and file an insurance claim but as soon as that was done he was back the following morning to cut out the rusted copper pipe and install a new one. I felt comfortable allowing him in my house when I needed to leave for a few obligations. He also quoted me a price and assured me it would not go above that regardless of how long it took. I will call Hansen Family Plumbing again if I am in need.

A few weeks ago my wife and I called out a plumber from one of the big companies that spends 7-figures on radio and TV ads every year to fix a water pressure problem. Their guy could not figure out what was wrong, quoted us between $3,000 - $5,000 for a few proposals that he was not sure would even fix the problem, and charged us $75 for the visit even though we did not take them up on the offer to maybe fix our plumbing for ~ $4,000.Hansen Family Plumbing came out for a free consult, laughed at the proposals from the other guys, fixed the problem in 10 minutes, and didnt charge us because the solution was so quick and easy. Ill use them as long as I live in the East Valley, and recommend them to anyone who asks.

We have had three guys from Hansen’s out to our house since we closed just over a week ago. They have been so kind and helpful with all of the problems we keep running into. For the sump pump problem, we thought we would have to use a different company due to our home warranty but when they proved to be a joke, we got to go back and have Hansen’s come back instead. These guys always remained professional and courteous. They were honest, fair, and completed the jobs in a timely manner. Hopefully we don’t have anymore plumbing issues for quite some time, but if we do, I can guarantee you that we will be calling Hansen’s.Update as of January 24, 2024: we have since had someone out at least 2 more times for different issues. They are always quick and courteous. When explaining the problems, they are great about first explaining it in technical terms and then they explain it again using language I can understand. This company will take care of their customers always. Never thought we would be so loyal to a plumbing company but we won’t be using anyone else as long as we live here.Just for some extra info, they have replaced the faucets for the washing machine, replaced our water softener, fixed the sump pump, repaired a part on the toilet, looked at the water softener when we thought it was acting up again, and now had to fix someone else’s work on the a/c unit sealing. Truly a well rounded company that employees extremely knowledgeable people.

5 out of 5 compliments! Yesterday I had a 1995 shower faucet where the handle just kept spinning. Upon discovery I read through the Yelp reviews of Hansons Family Plumbing and was impressed with their ad and great comments of praise. I called and was immediately greeted with “what can we can help you with?” I was impressed that someone picked up the phone! I made arrangements for an estimate for the shower repair and a dripping faucet. She had an opening for the NEXT morning. The very pleasant young man reviewed the concern and said I can repair all now if you’d like. He had to go to the supply house and would be right back. 30 min or so later he did, repaired all and we couldn’t be more impressed. I will use Hanson again and We strongly recommend this company!

Their customer service and timely response out the gate were much appreciated when I was getting quotes for the service, and they were also the lowest price in the area relative to the other quotes I received. They had a tech come out, review my supply line and the new toilet, then they wrote a quote to install the bidet toilet.The install process was a bit bumpy, the technician that arrived was not aware that it was a bidet toilet due to a miscommunication in their scheduling system it appears, and he was not very familiar with that style of toilet.The install was left somewhat incomplete, however once I brought up my concerns to the office, the project manager at Hansen contacted me, made things right for the inconvenience, and also got a tech to come out quickly to finish the job. Britni was super helpful and informative and was able to get me schedule right away. Henry showed up right on time and was super friendly. I showed him exactly what I needed done and what I had done prior. He was encouraging saying I was practically finished, but the extra work that needed to be done I was not comfortable doing, which he was more than happy to do. After quickly installing new thermostats, Henry helped with set up and made sure everything worked correctly. Awesome company and will most definitely remember them.

I had JERRY come out to evaluate our hot water & recirculating pump system. His competence and experience really served us well. He found a small amount of water in the heater pan, felt it was a lower tank failure and called Rudd and got authorization for a warranty water heater replacement which he completed. We also needed to replace 3 faucets in 2 bathrooms and the kitchen which he and Dillon did a couple days later. During the bathroom install he determined the drain provided by the manufacturer was unacceptable and went and got new parts to ensure our glass sink would be secured and properly drain (something I do not think the average plumber would do).Jerry saved us a lot of money by handing the water heater replacement and showed his personal pride in doing the job right by installing new faucets correctly and going the extra mile with the drains using quality parts at a very reasonable price.

If we were good friends and you asked me who to call for AC repairs, I’d say Hansen. Since we haven’t met, I’m letting you know Hansen is the AC company to call. Highly recommend. Both my AC units had problems within two months of each other and Hansen was there the next day, on time, and had both up and running. One even went out the night before my daughters wedding with her and seven ladies showing up at 7:30 am the next morning. Tech was there at 7am and fixed by the time all arrived!Both times the Tech was professional, friendly, and educated me on what the problems were and what need fixing. So again, highly recommend.

Robert came out he was also friendly, very professional, answered all of our questions, fixed the leak and made sure we had resources for the restoration. Such a relief. Had Mark out, to look and quote to repair the leak issue that has been plaguing our home since we bought it from a terrible old owner. Had Parker and sons out initially to quote and then cap it until we could get our new on in. 10 months later, finally moving in and installing water heater and we could finally remove the cap, to find that it was capped too short. Everything we tried to fix it, the solder would break due to it being cut/capped wrong. Mark took a look, gave a very straight forward price that was right around the budget I planned for to have it fixed, and got it done very well. Super friendly, and even did the right thing by offering items that are included with the service anyways that I didnt even know was included! He even helped give some additional recommendations for some additional work we are looking to have done, and what to watch out for. He was overall focused on making sure this was done right, and that we were happy with what he was getting done. Overall just super pleased with everything Mark did for us, and how quick and efficiently he was able to get our issue taken care of. If I could give this a higher rating I would. I rarely leave any reviews/feedback, and this was one thar just had to be said and shared. Not to mention what they offer for veterans, teachers and others to help with discounts all without me even asking. He just wanted to make sure he could help as much as possible, and we are so very very thankful with what he and the Hansen Family Plumbing was able to get done for us!!!!

I called on Saturday and was scheduled for Monday morning between 8am-10am. The woman I spoke with was patient, quick and kind.I was expecting it to be closer to 10am and around 8:15am I received a text that Technician Mark was on his way. They were prompt, communicated clearly and have explained the different pricing options for the appropriate action.At the end Mark explained preventative treatment options to prevent the drain from clogging. I believe they give an honest estimate and complete quality work.The most recent visit involved replacing front and back outdoor spigot. The rear one is also the auto water feeder line to the pool. Mark replaced with copper. Quality, skilled work with upfront dialogue about a cost upcharge to go with brass to combat the AZ heat. Hansen is not inexpensive, but we felt they are reliable, thorough, and communicative. All plusses.

I was in need of a new company that could service our AC unit and googled for some options. I liked that this company seemed kind of small but with a lot of positive reviews and very few negative reviews so I gave them a call along with a few other companies. I needed to get my AC unit just inspected before the full force of the summer months and most companies wouldn’t even see me for a month or two. Hansen was able to get me in right away. They were very communicative and the technician was great. I was so worried they were going to try to upsell me, like many companies do, but our unit is only three years old and the technician honestly reported that it looked to be in good shape and I wouldn’t need any additional service on it. They were running a special of $69 for the inspection, which is a great deal! I definitely recommend them and plan to use them if we ever have problems with our unit in the future.
