We woke up to cold showers yesterday. We knew the time was coming simply due to the water heater’s age, but there was no warning otherwise; it was just suddenly gone. We reached out to friends to find a recommendation for a plumber, and they sent us to Ben Thomas (Benjamin Plumbing). So glad they did!Ben had a cancellation for the day, so he was able to provide same day service. We were obviously very happy that he was willing and able to respond so quickly, and he made the whole experience so easy! Great work. Great pricing. SO glad our friends sent us his way!

Ben is a pleasure to deal with. He originally came to my home with a bathtub contractor and because he was so nice I asked him to look at some other projects I had.. he ended up doing quite a lot of work in a very timely manner.. I had been concerned about all the old ‘plumbing stuff’ under my sink. We talked through the options and he did not try to upsell me on anything. He rebuilt underneath my sink with a new RO system which was excellently priced I might add and installed a new faucet. I have so much room there now and a lot less messy water ‘tubes’! Naturally I am delighted!He could not have been more helpful and is coming back to sort out some other plumbing issues I have. He is beyond neat and tidy and left everything spotless.. he kindly removed a lot of old building debris that had been lurking under my bath..What a pleasure to have such a lovely guy come work in your home.. one who knows what he is doing and is kind and respectful to boot! All I can say is that this is a great company to work with. Benjamin was prompt, courteous, knowledgeable, and cost effective.I shopped with numerous vendors and I am not disappointed in choosing Benjamin Plumbing to get the job done.I had to replace 2 hose bibs, pressure regulator, and a shut off valve.Now everything is new and I am very content.I HIGHLY recommend him. Benjamin Plumbing was the 8th, and final, plumber to bid on my water heater replacement job.Ben showed up early to the appointment.He was polite, professional, informational, and upfront about exactly what he would do and what it would cost.There were no surprises; no comments of and anything else deemed necessary.Completely transparent.No drama or doomsday comments...Oh, a 40 gallon wont fit in there... Whats on the other side of that wall? Ill have to knock it down.... This is a big job. Ill have to bring an extra man.An old 40 gallon water heater had come out of the mechanical closet, and a new 40 gallon water heater went in.It fit perfectly.And Ben was a one-man show.About 5 or 10 minutes after he left our initial meeting there was a written bid in my email.There was no fine print.Nothing of which to be wary.After all the other bids, all the other experiences, and so many red flags from others, deciding to hire Ben was easy.I already had all the information I needed.Ben was able to come back a few hours later and complete the job in just over an hour.He was efficient, knowledgeable, professional, focused, and detail-oriented. He cleaned up 100% after himself.He answered all questions and concerns.In a couple weeks he will be back to install two faucets and update some of the plumbing under my kitchen sink.After he was finished with my water heater installation he was able to help another person in the community with a sudden plumbing issue.I would encourage anyone to at least have Ben bid on their plumbing job and then decide for themself.I dont think you will be disappointed if you hire him.
