Ive always been super impressed with Arizonas Dukes of Air. They have always been very helpful, honest, and fair. Their staff have all been professional and very polite. I originally reached out when our A/C system stopped working which required a new compressor but based on that experience have signed up for their maintenance program. It feels really good to have found a company who we can trust with all of our HVAC needs.

Cory was prompt and knowledgeable. He took the time to review water heater timer and help ensure proper setting. New build- builder had set timer but did not turn it on causing my water heater to continuously recirculate. He even fixed my leaking shower head. Update:Just received a call from Jake the project manager. I appreciate him reaching out and making this situation right. I understand things don’t always go smoothly but to do business with a company who is willing to correct situations is very refreshing. Thanks again to JakeIm not sure how many stars to select. The service I received from Marcos Carillo was 4.5 stars. He was professional and courteous. He delivered an estimate of his finding. I realized the same work was completed last year. I paid $400 for work that wasnt completed correctly so now I have to pay another $200 to have it completed correctly. It is very hard to ensure HVac work is done correct so I am trusting your technicians are skilled and trained. Unfortunately that has not been my experience in the past. Im forced to pay $600 to have the job completed correctly. I have purchased two service agreements with your company thinking the service would benefit me but its costing me more money to have the services completed twice to solve the problems. Im rethinking my loyalty to your company.

Could not be happier with the service I received. Quality work, professionalism and care. Started with a water heater flush because we were getting less hot water. They were so great that we decided to upgrade our water heater to tankless, add soft water system, and an R/O.I told them briefly that we had special circumstances with our children and it was important to keep the doors closed. They not only remembered that but communicated that to any other employee that came to work on our house. I’m a very curious person and I asked questions during the install. They had no problem answering every question I had. I cannot say enough great things about Dukes. Definitely will use them if we need any other plumbing or HVAC work done.

This company is awesome! We had them out to repair one unit and replace one at another property. Fantastic customer service and workmanship, couldnt be happier with the outcome! When it was time for our home to get an upgrade, we did not hesitate to call. From scheduling to quote, old unit removal, to final new installation, they were the absolute best! The install team was very knowledgeable and courteous. Our new Trane system is working fantastic!! They also redid some of the ducting, the airflow and overall temperatures are much better all around. We will definitely be using Dukes for anything HVAC or plumbing related.

Dukes of Air fixed my water heater. Called them on a Saturday afternoon and Antonio & Michael were working in my garage until 9 PM trying to fix it! Turns out I needed a new thermocoupler, which took a couple days to get delivered. They kept up the communication, and as soon as the part was in, he zipped right over and had it installed in less than 2 hours. Hot water back on!! They did a great job and were courteous and professional, as always!

Great service. We had a plumbing problem. Another plumber told us it was a 5000 dollar fix. I had heard good things about dukes I called then sent a plumber. Problem fix . Was still 1500 but I know the problem was fixed no corners cut. Thank you. The problem was a tub overflow upstairs. The gentleman was able to reach in this space and fix.

I have been a customer for a few years with Dukes of Air installing 2 brand new ac units. I bought the 10 year warranty of free parts and labor and it sure has saved me a couple of times. Today, 1 of my units’ capacitor went bad and Dukes of Air sent someone out within a few hours, which was fantastic! They are fast, knowledgeable, and polite!

Had a new unit installed with Duke on 3/21. Have had multiple issues first with the dampers not opening, then coils freezing, now repeated issues with the unit short cycling. They have been out 3 times in the last in the last 2 month and still cannot resolve the problem. Seems like a faulty installation for a unit this new having so many issues. At this point I’m going to have a different company come out to determine the issue and the get then to fix what is still under warranty. Updating my review. Dukes sent 2 new techs to address the issues, I appreciate that they took the issues seriously and put measures in place to fix the underlying problems. The AC unit is now performing well.

I bought HVAC system from AZ Dukes of Air four years ago. Their system has good quality, is reliable and reasonably priced. I got cheaper quotes from other companies, but upon checking the details, other companies’ systems were lower quality entry models of the same brand (Trane) while AZ Duke’s system was mid-level model. So beware when you shop and always check the model details! The installation was clean and solid. I also bought a 5-year maintenance plan which covered an AC and a heating maintenance each year. Their technicians are professional and do good work. Haven’t had any problems with the HVAC system in the last four years. Strongly recommend this company.

From the estimator to the office help to the installers, no question Dukes is the best AC company I have ever dealt with. My units are 20 years old and as expected, one died. I had 5 companies give me bids. Dukes estimator was far and above better than any other. The office staff made a exception to get me in very next day as the temps above 110. My installers Kyle and Juan were artists. The attention to detail, the punctuality and above all they obviously are masters of their craft. The cherry on top of all this was they installed the best equipment, Trane and were the lowest price with the best warranty. Ive used this company for 10 years and had a mini split system installed a few months ago to replace my old, inadequate heat pump. Its fair to say that the install did not go well and it took about a week to get things right. The reason that DOA still gets 5 stars from me is because of how the situation was handled. I think I had most of the people in high ranking positions over here at one point or another while the techs worked tirelessly to get everything just right. Everyone from the two Justins to Kyle, Kevin and manager Partick all took it seriously and treated me with respect. Its easy to say nice things about a company when everything goes right but seeing how they handle a situation when it doesnt is the true measure of a quality company. Dukes will always have my business and loyalty.This mini split system is the single smartest decision Ive made for my home. I keep this mobile home at around 71 degrees and my power usage has dropped between 30 and 39 percent compared to the same time period last year when I kept it at 80 degrees. We had our A/C gas split installed on the coldest day in February and the team did a great job. The exterior tubes are hidden and tidy. The air cleaner installed created a lot of static so we exchanged it for the LED one for another $200. I wish I knew ahead of time, but you live and learn. Warranty service on a small plastic part was needed this summer, but they were able to get out the same day. The Trane XR 17 is a great at both heating and cooling. The team is helpful, informative, and friendly w dogs.

My AC unit went out on what was the hot day of the year. Service technician Jeremy investigated the issue. I had a condensation build up. The Safe-T Switch was full of water. Jeremy drained the switch, retro-fitted the drain line, flushed the line & installed a starter assist on the unit. Ive used Dukes of Air for several years for AC maintenance and this year had them do a new 4 ton/2stage Trane unit install, as my unit was 18 years old and I wanted to get ahead of the 2025 EPA changes. I was extremely happy with the service and professionalism of the entire team. They had the sales rep Jerry to me in a day to go over my options with no pressure, and he went above and beyond to ensure I got every possible rebate and discount. My current unit still worked so it wasnt an urgent install but they still had it done within a few days. My technicians Cristian and Angel were knowledgeable, courteous, and did a fantastic job, with a very challenging 2nd story attic for the handler replacement. They had to widen the scuttle for access and replace the filter unit and door with updated ones. They were meticulous in finishing it all out, and it looks great. They installed my new smart thermostat and made sure I was comfortable using it before they left. This wasnt a purchase I was looking forward to, but Im glad I went with Dukes of Air and would highly recommend them for HVAC needs.Update: November 2024; Stephen came and did inspection and routine maintenance on my unit to make sure it was running great for winter. He was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. I am very happy with this unit as I had noticeably lower electric bills all summer, and continue to be very happy with the service Dukes of Air provides.

Had Dukes come out to do my summer maintenance after Goettl who has done it for the last several years tried to sell me a bunch of repairs which seemed sketchy. The system was struggling to maintain temps during the hottest part of last summerAnthony came out and went through my system from top to bottom inspection everything down to the wires. He showed me pictures of every part on the system that he inspected including where he had found that Goettl has drilled 3 large holes into my system and didnt bother to patch them afterwards. Our 12 year old Trane 19i heat pump and a/c unit was needing repairs and it didnt seem wise to invest several thousand dollars in it. I contacted 4 a/c installation companies for quotes. AZ Dukes of Air was listed at the top of a Google search for Top Ten Air Conditioning Companies in East Valley Phoenix. From the moment I contacted them I was impressed with the professionalism of everyone I spoke with. Rod the salesman presented himself as a very honest and knowledgeable veteran of the HVAC business. Even though AZ Dukes bid was not the lowest, nor the highest, we opted to go with them because of their outstanding reputation and how comfortable we felt with them. We were not disappointed. The install crew, headed by Luis, showed up precisely on time and 5 hours later were done. They did an outstanding job from start to cleanup. When Rod followed up a week later we made comments about noise increase over the old unit and he agreed that it seemed louder than it should. He immediately arranged for one of their technicians, Todd, to visit us and determine the source of the problem. Todd was so thorough. He suggested that we do some additional duct work to give the inflow of air more distance to travel and thus dampen out the noise, and have a larger, 40x40 air intake installed because the original 20x30 was too small for the system. And, Dukes would do all of that for just NO CHARGE. Thats correct - NO CHARGE. Todd said that should have been recommended to us in the original bid and since it wasnt they would cover the cost. How could we refuse. A few days later Todd was back and he and another worker had everything done in 3 hours. What an improvement.We cant say enough about Laura in the office. She is so polite, friendly, and professional, too, that it makes it a real pleasure to contact her.A heat pump and a/c are mandatory in AZ and frequently require service. You cannot go wrong using Arizonas Dukes of Air. You will be as impressed as we were with their people.In April 2020 had AZ Dukes out for a pre- summer checkup. All was well and Justin had shoe covers, gloves, and a face mask on response to the situation. He checked out everything and all was well. Justin was very professional and courteous.On August 17, 2020, at approximately 3:50 pm, when the outside temperature was 113, our Trane unit ceased to function. At 4:05 pm I contacted Dukes office. They assured me someone would be out between 5 and 7 pm. At about 5:30 pm I received a call from Caleb, the technician from Dukes. He was on his way. He arrived less than 10 minutes later. (BTW, Caleb was properly masked, courteous, and professional.) Caleb quickly found that an electric surge had melted some wire nut connectors and wires inside the exterior unit. He replaced them and we had cool air again!! I continue to be so impressed by the quality of personnel at Dukes and their commitment to a high level of customer service. In a highly competitive market, they stand out.Once again, AZ Dukes Of Air exceeded my expectations. Our winter system checkup was due December 2024. Michael was the tech. Had Dukes Of Air out for a whole home duct cleaning assessment and quote earlier this week. My wife and I just bought a new home and while unpacking I had such a bad allergy attack I hadn’t been able to be in the home since. During the consultation I agreed to schedule an appointment and they were able to be back first thing the next morning. They arrived right on time for both appointments after calling to give me a heads up that they were on their way. The technician Orlando was awesome to work with. They were extremely professional, knowledgeable and thorough with their work. I am so glad I went with them and highly recommend their services. Since the duct cleaning I have had no more issues with indoor air quality/allergies and am so happy with the service I received!!!

We recently had Dustin and Korbin add a custom return vent and perform duct work at our home. We are absolutely thrilled with their service from start to finish. Not only were they professional and easy to work with, they went out of their way to find a way to add a new return to an older home without much damage to the existing walls. We really felt like Dustin and Korbin cared about our home and now everything is working awesome! We had a negative air situation in our downstairs and it is 100% fixed. Actual Professionals!I had 4 local HVAC companies out to service a brand new Air Handler that kept turning off, and they were stumped and charged me high rates..Jesus Lopez with Dukes was an absolute rockstar & magician. He was able to work the with manufacturer and leverage his expertise to solve my HVAC problem. And it cost half the visit of the other HVACs!I will admit this was a tricky issue but still... Each tech that comes out to service our 8 yr old unit we purchased from dukes of air has exceeded our expectations. I don’t know if the inside unit is wobbly or what but it seems to break open during the course of the year. The outside unit is as durable as ever. The last few techs bonded the inside with duct tape but the most recent tech was a pro and fixed it right. I continue to use their monthly service since it offer lower cost replacement parts.

Arizona Dukes of Air does a good job of fixing any issues with my a/c and heat. I’m on the gold yearly service plan and get a 20% discount on the parts and labor which makes the repair jobs reasonably priced. Issues always get diagnosed correctly and finished in a few hours depending on the issue. The service is great and the technicians are knowledgeable and friendly.

We hired them to install our 2 new AC units 5 years ago. They did an excellent job. We have a 10 year warranty on parts from Trane. We added a maintenance plan and the come in the spring and fall to service the units. AZ is having record breaking high temperatures at 118F this week, and our upstairs unit was not working when we returned from vacation on Saturday. I called Sunday morning expecting to get a message service, but they answered the phone and scheduled. our service for Monday mid morning. The technician was on time, professional and had it fixed in less than 30 minutes. The part was covered under warranty and our labor was discounted under our maintenance plan which made the charge very affordable. I recommend Dukes of Air to everyone who needs their services.
