    I just purchased a home and saw some paperwork that Wilbur Plumbing and Heating did the last service on my boiler.I called and signed up for a maintenance plan and scheduled my boiler service. Everything has been really easy so far. I was very impressed with the tech Joe who came out to service me. He even remembered the breaker number without even looking at the panel box. It was nice that he was already familiar with my boiler and the layout. It made me feel very comfortable and feel I was in good hands moving forward.

    Weve been with Wilbur Plumbing for just about 10 years now! We love the 2x per year check ups. Joe has been our technician for most of the checkups...hes thorough and takes time to answer questions we have and on time. We always get a text when he is on his way, which is helpful! We like the peace of mind we have knowing our system is working as it should. They also do a plumbing inspection 1x per year, another peace of mind service! We highly recommend Wilbur Plumbing!

    We have a tankless water heater and boiler. We lost heat but still had hot water. Called Jeffrey Wilbur Plumbing and Heating. They had Joe at that same day. Joe was able to quickly identify the issue. It was a pressure sensor and the part needed to be ordered. It took a few weeks to get the part but that wasnt for lack of trying to find it sooner. When the part arrived they were quick to come out and resolve our issue. Joe had the part installed and we had heat in less than an hour. I would recommend this company for any plumbing or HVAC issues you may have. They are not the cheapest around but they are the best.

    I had Wilbur Plumbing and Heating out to my house today for a service appointment for my furnace. I recently moved into my home and wasn’t super familiar with this type of heating system.     2024: Extremely pleased with follow-on maintenance support as a member of Jeffrey A. Wilburs customer care plan. Scheduling was a breeze, received text with techs picture with notification that tech was enroute, actual service was quick and thorough! Greatly appreciate confidence in A/C during this heat wave!2023: After receiving several quotes, I ultimately chose Jeffrey A. Wilbur to install a new Furnace/AC system for my home. Mr. Wilbur himself is a consummate professional, providing detailed information and answering my many nuanced questions. Their online proposal system is well-organized, informative, and intuitive and they offered all of the features I was looking for, from various levels of equipment, to UV lights, to enhanced filtration, to smart thermostats. Wilbur also went far out of their way to accommodate me during a record-breaking heat wave, temporarily getting my former system operational, as my new install had been slightly delayed. Justin and the team did a fantastic job with the installation -- they provided expert knowledge, adhered to my rigorous requests around covid caution and protecting my floors, and left my home likely cleaner than they found it. The process is highly organized and efficient with automated notifications and texts introducing the team. Very pleased with the products and level of service!2022: I called on a holiday for non-urgent issues and gratefully received next day service. Though expensive, but likely not moreso than competitors, I was pleased to quickly and easily have water pressure restored in two barely-used sinks and a leaky sprayer fixed. Sure, i should probably have been more self-reliant to save money on simple fixes, but saving the time, effort, trips to the hardware store, having confidence in the fixes, learning from the experts, and actually getting it resolved vs my own procrastination, was well worth it to me. Finally, I was especially pleased with Jeffrey A. Wilbur Plumbings internal processes, to communicate particular customer requests from the scheduler to the serviceman and his strict adherence to my very particular requests based on notes from the scheduler.     Joe arrived on time and got right to work checking out my air conditioning. He found everything working within tolerances but the refrigerant level was low. After explaining the situation and giving me the cost he quickly added the refrigerant and cleaned up the unit. While completing my invoice he reminded me of the $35. discount for seniors and veterans that he applied to my invoice.AC is working great and I’m very happy with the service I received.

    I couldnt have been happier with Jeffrey Wilbur Plumbing, Heating and Air Conditioning. I needed Central Air service and Joe the technician was amazing. He knew exactly what I was describing and went to work. He found the issues and with 30 mins he had everything working fantastically! He even went above and beyond and cleaned out bugs, webs and debris from the unit and checked everything over just in case there was more wrong. He is very knowledgeable and very gracious with my ignorance. I will always call Jeffrey Wilburs for any of my Plumbing, Heating and A/C in the future no hesitation.     I joined their comfort club earlier this year after they replaced my hot water heater (pricing was 1/2 the price of another local contractor). I just had my semi-annual HVAC tune-up and the yearly plumbing check-up. Joe, who took care of the HVAC, was prompt, friendly, and very clear in his review of the system. Josh came out to do the plumbing inspection. Again very friendly & clear in his explanation of his findings.     Great HVAC and plumbing service. Had a new furnace and AC unit installed Fall of 2023 and just had our first AC inspection today. Nick was very thorough and explained what he was doing both inside and outside. Went over a multi point checklist and included a replacement filter. Scheduled the Fall furnace unit inspection and love the efficiency of the job. Staff is excellent to communicate with and scheduling is easy. Highly recommended.

Todays project was completed by Mark Carbaugh, who is absolutely THE nicest, most courteous professional I have encountered so far! Mark was very careful to treat my home the way he would want someone to treat his home. He was not only tolerant of my 2 1/2 year old grandsons repeated questions, but he enjoyed interacting with him and took time to explain what he was doing, much to my grandsons delight!     I cant thank Jeff Wilbur Heating & Air Conditioning and Plumbing for all they have done for me. They are honest and courteous and most of all honest. Theyre prices are very good too. I was told by another company that I needed to replace my entire heating and ac unit and furnace and duct work because of contamination. Being a single home owner that sent me into panic. When Nick from Wilburs came out he fixed my problem and I did not need to replace anything. His honesty meant the world to me. And today I had a toilet that would not flush properly and Mark came out and fixed it. Again he was honest and courteous. And I only have one toilet so the service call and fix was much appreciated. I might add that when I called for service Yvonne was trying to sched me in the morning until i told her I had a dr appt. Because she knew I only had one toilet she was able to move things around and gave me an appt at noon which was perfect. Therefore I didnt need to cancel my appt.They all go above and beyond what they need to do. I plan on using them for any future issues. God bless them real good for being good honest hard working people

    As a retired property manager, I have experience with many HVAC companies, and Wilbur is top-notch. They are automated for efficient operations, but they retain a personal touch. When I have needed urgent plumbing service, since I bought into their upgraded plan, they provided it. Today, Joe did a thorough routine semi-annual check of my two heat pumps. Notably, he didnt waste money by replacing filters that were still OK, he added some freon where needed, and he explained the service in detail as he handed me a written summary report. Very satisfied!

    Joe is the man! Ive used Jeffrey A. Wilbur Plumbing twice now for an issue with our furnace/heat, as well as an issue with our air conditioning. We were with a different company for HVAC tune-ups, but quickly dropped them once we had Wilbur Plumbing over for a second opinion, as they were clearly more knowledgeable than the other guys(would strongly suggest to stay away from HL Bowman based on higher prices, and bad advice/information).Wilbur Plumbing had a much cheaper price for a new heat exchanger that we needed to have installed, and Joe was able to correct mistakes made by our prior hvac company in the process of replacing it. He is very thorough with his work in identifying and explaining the issue, and quick with fixing it.Our AC was recently having issues and Joe once again came over and was quick with troubleshooting until he found the issue, overcharged freon, which was causing high head pressure, and turning the unit off before completing a full cooling cycle. In the process of fixing this issue, Joe also fixed some incorrect wiring in the furnace tied to the heat pump, because thats the kind of guy he is, thorough, thoughtful, reliable, and awesome!

    The very best HVAC company that I have ever had do work for me.All of their staff is very friendly and professional. I called several area HVAC companies and they were not interested in working on my older closed loop ground source heat pump they just wanted me to let them replace it with a new system.     Joe was my HVAC Technician who carried with him 35 years of experience. When he arrived, he immediately put his gauges on my HVAC unit. He showed me on the gauges that the pressures were abnormal which told him exactly what the problem was. He showed me what part was needed to repair my unit and said he would have to order it and that he would return the next morning and install it which he did.     Last week, Nick and Tony were here to inspect my HVAC as part of the Comfort Club Plan. Nick made a few recommendations, a new filter (which was very dirty) and another part for the heat pump. He actually tested my part and the new part so I could see the life left in my part versus the new part. Both the filter and part definitely needed replacement. I appreciated the transparency and the truthful recommendation. Overall, the service was great.Also, Id like to add that Wilbur Plumbing was here in July and provided an extensive inspection of our plumbing as part of the Comfort Club Plan. It was music to my ears when the technician said everything was in order and working fine. I was very pleased with that visit as well.

    Wilbur did a scheduled furnace annual check. The tech, Justin, arrived within the scheduled time of my appointment, which was great! He did a very thorough job checking the unit, and provided me a detailed summary of what he did. He explained to me 2 parts that were nearing the end of their working lives, the pros and cons of replacing or not replacing them and provided an estimated cost. The service provided is high quality. Overall, very happy with the experience.

    Another good Wilbur Plumbing experience. Furnace stopped working on a snowy Saturday. Called for emergency service. Joe called back and guided me through identifying the error code, looking at things for him and I was able to get it restarted and avoid the Saturday emergency visit. Then Joe was here by 9:00 Monday morning to check it out. He ended up performing our 6 month service (which we were due for this month) while he was here and all was good. Joe is great…gets right to work, is very pleasant and good at explaining everything.

    I was able to schedule this service online which I found very convenient. Although the repairman Colt was not able to make it at the appointed time because of another job taking longer, I was contacted and given a new time. This was very much appreciated! Colt was very professional and was able to tell us exactly what was going to be needed and an estimate of the cost. He completed the job in a timely manner and double checked the repair. We were very pleased with Colt and his service.Im adding on to this post since I cant seem to generate a new one. Colt performed another service for us within the past two weeks. We had a water pressure regulator issue. Colt replaced it and it was definitely an upgrade from what we had originally. He also noticed another issue that he fixed for us. As before, Colt explained exactly what he did and what had caused the problem. An accurate estimate of the cost was given and the work was completed in a timely manner. Thank you Colt!

    Been using Wilbur for two years, experience has been great! Was using a different local company since we had moved in for the last 8 years, but the other company started messing up (resulting in hundreds of dollars of replacement parts that werent the problem to start), so I switched and havent had an issue since. The Wilbur techs have all been very friendly, including our latest, Joe, and they never push optional part replacements or additional plans on you. Just fast, and complete service check ups.     Very happy with the work done by Colt. We had a toilet repaired. Very professional, called to arrive early, and did not take him long to clear the clog which was down the line past the toilet.     Jeff Wilbur Plumbing has been the go-to plumbing service for my household for years. I am normally 100% satisfied with their service, however had a mediocre experience today. I discovered around midday that there was a leak in the intake hose of my water heater. My wife and I subscribe to their platinum service plan, which has paid for itself many times over.Positives: The technician was out to our home about an hour after our call and was able to complete the work in roughly another hour. Because of our platinum program with the waived service call fee and 40% off the bill, we were given a very fair rate. No significant disruption in our hot water service.Negatives: The technician, whom I will not name, allowed our outside basement door to slam multiple times. Once or twice I can understand, but this was at least 5 times he let it slam without any effort to lower it gently. After the job was done, I discovered that he left the pipe/hosing that was removed in my basement along with a rag.Our regular technician is usually very diligent about leaving behind any waste and is generally very focused on trying to minimize the disruption to our household. We intend to continue to use Jeff Wilbur Plumbing because they typically provide high quality work, reasonable rates, and are typically able to address an emergency on the same day.

I saw a commercial for Wilbur Plumbing, Heating and Air Conditioning and liked that it was a local, family run business, so we gave them a call (as we previously had unpleasant experiences with other HVAC companies in the area). To our surprise, they sent out a technician that same afternoon who quickly diagnosed the problem. The part was ordered and within a few days, we had our AC up and running again! Joe was very helpful, efficient and professional.     Recently purchased a home and found the kitchen sink slow to drain and within a week or so it would no longer drain. Went to Wilburs website and easily set up an appointment. Colt from Wilbur Plumbing arrived on time and quickly assessed the situation. We also found a toilet was leaking since we set up the appointment & Colt was able to fix both issues on the one trip. He went above and beyond to clear the kitchen drain line which was about 90% clogged with years of hard sludge. He provided a cost estimate up front before starting work and updated on his progress as he went. Colt was courteous and professional; so refreshing to hear sir nowadays.     Today was my first time working with Wilbur Plumbing, Heating, and Air Inc. I appreciated the numerous communication outreaches throughout the extent of my appointment. I received text messages 2 days in advance and then the morning of. It was nice to be updated many times of the status of the appointment. The technician (Keith Bucher) arrived on time and was immediately ready to start work. He was courteous of entering someone elses house. He got right to work on checking my heating and air conditioning vent, as I had just bought my house recently and wasnt sure the current status of either and the last time they were serviced. Keith cleaned up after himself and did a thorough job of servicing my units. It was also completed in a relatively decent time span, as I had expected it to take longer. He was very helpful in informing me of which comfort plan to use for my units and was very knowledgeable of all plans that were possible. I called with a leak in my water heater and Mark was able to help me get the main shut off valve turned off to the house so the water would stop leaking into the basement until he could get there.     Wilbur Plumbing did a HUGE job for us, taking out an old attic HVAC unit and replacing it with a new one (as well as the outside air conditioning unit). I had gotten a number of quotes for this job and this was the one company that gave me numbers for everything. The other companies would have required me to find my own subcontractors for the wood work that was necessary in this case. It wasnt the cheapest but everything was covered.Joe, Keith and Alec worked on this project for about a week. They were timely, courteous and respectful. Jeff came at the start of the project to make sure everyone was on the same page (as to what the job entailed) and came by as it was being done as well as at the end of the project. While there were a few hiccups (missing parts, incorrect parts) they were corrected in a reasonable amount of time. Its a pleasure to work with all of them.In addition, as this project was finishing, my basement heater also had an issue. Knowing how much we have already spent on the new system, Jeff was able to send a technician, Keith, to diagnose and fix that system at a reasonable cost.Overall, I recommend this company for its friendly communications (Sandy), considerate owner (Jeff), happy subcontractors (excellent wood work!) and its great technicians (Keith, Joe and journeyman Alec).

    They are a reliable and prompt Company to do business with but Man they are not cheap in their pricing. I had a bathroom faucet replaced and the labor cost alone was $371.00. It took the plumber all of 20 minutes to do the job. I recently got another estimate with Wilbur Plumbing on a small job that was also close to $400, which I shopped around and got it done elsewhere for less than $200. If you read the reviews at this site and other sites you will see I’m not the first Person to complain about Wilbur’s excessive pricing. My advice is you should Shop around elsewhere for a quote before you call Wilbur’s unless you have money to burn.

We had our water heater replaced with a tankless heater; work was completed in less than a day. They left the work area cleaner than when they started (as they also removed the old water tank).     This is the second time Ive used Wilbur Plumbing, the first being last summer when we needed a water heater. I was so impressed with them from that installation that I didnt hesitate to call them when it was time to upgrade our HVAC thanks to its age and a coolant leak due to said age.Mr. Wilbur came out to check out the old system and give us options. When the system we chose wasnt available, he arranged for a better one for us because he didnt want us to go into the extremely hot weather with a faulty A/C. When installation was delayed due to circumstances beyond his control (thanks to COVID), Mr. Wilbur did everything he could get get installation rescheduled as fast as he could. I absolutely did not mind because of the care he took with his staff and to ensure people could reach them in an emergency.Installation wound up taking place when I was out of town. My husband said Justin and Mike were extremely professional and courteous, and I think they left the basement better than I left it! They took the time to explain the new system throughly to my husband so he could then pass that information on to me. I know if I have any further questions, I can call the office (I spoke to the extremely kind lady there several times over the past few weeks) and get it answered quickly.We are still relatively new homeowners, and this is the biggest purchase weve made since buying our house. Everyone at Wilbur made the process extremely easy and comfortable, and I have already recommended them to neighbors seeking new systems themselves.

We had water service back in our home by 3pm today and are well into the remediation phase.As someone who has been fortunate enough to know nothing about things like water feed blow-outs, I find that its pretty amazing to think that less than 20 hours ago it was raining a full-out waterfall in our dining room... yet its likely that the damage will all be repaired and looking like it was in a Wayback Machine within the next couple days.Great service is always worthy of praise, so Ill go on record that Wilbur Plumbing did a fine job.     We have used J Wilbur Plumbing for several years. This service was for our biannual furnace checkup. Joe showed up in the hour time frame. He is always friendly and very through. I would recommend Joe and Jeff Wilbur for any and all plumbing needs.

    Our hot water stopped Tuesday late evening and I called a few companies Wednesday morning in the area and none of them were available. Then I called Wilbur Plumbing and they scheduled a tech for 11 am but within one hour the technician Colt called me asked if he could stop by early as he was wrapping up his first job. He was at my door within half-hour and figured out that the thermostat had gone bad. He also recommended replacing the water heater as it was past its prime life and also gave me a quote. Since I was not prepared for such an expense right before the holidays I requested him to fix it for now and that I would get back to him about replacing it. Colt was very professional in explaining everything to me and he did a nice job with replacing the thermostats and also cleaning up the place. I would recommend Wilbur Plumbing for any plumbing related work as I found them to be honest and professional.

    I called Josh after another plumber was trying to sell me something I didnt need and Josh was recommended to me. Josh, offered tons of advice and then helped me troubleshoot my system over the phone, and then helped me find the part locally, and get it at his cost! I installed the part and all is fixed! No new water heater like the others were trying to sell me! Im a customer for life after that experience. Thanks Josh and team.

    I called for service on a frosty November morning and they arrived inside 2 hours. My technician Keith Bucher was professional and very thorough. He was very helpful and educated me on aspects of my furnace and thermostat that I did not know. The price was reasonable for an after hours call. Will definitely call them again.

    Had a clogged sink and dishwasher drain line which in turn backed up a washing machine drain.I am partially disabled and my husband was out of town. Called Wilbur Plumbing on the referral recommendation of a close friend. They were very responsive and told me they would be there that afternoon. They actually called back and made the appt time even earlier, which was great.Mark, the technician called me and arrived promptly. He was extremely professional and took the time to fully explain what he was going to do and then what he was actually doing.Once the problem was solved he explained what had caused the issue and how to avoid it in the future.He followed all recommended CoVid safety measures including a mask.Would highly recommend this company, especially Mark, for any and all plumbing needs.

    When my AC died on a hot, sweaty summer Saturday morning and I couldnt face 2 days of sweltering heat and humidity, I decided to pay the weekend emergency rate and called Wilbur, with whom I have my service contract. Joe was at my house within half an hour and was super quick about diagnosing the problem, a faulty capacitor, and replacing it with a new one which, happily, he had in his truck. Very happy with the quick response which solved my problem with a minimum of hassle.

    I could not be more pleased with the service I received. Joe was on time and friendly. He made sure my furnace was in good working order and patiently answered all of the questions I had.
