Two electricians from Parrish Services came to my home today to fix an outdoor light fixture that had not worked for some time. They initially had to problem solve the lack of power to the fixture and make a repair, then install the new post and a new light fixture. The fixture is the type that comes on automatically at night so they had to check that function. Once the work was completed they had me check everything and I approved the work. Unfortunately, after they left, I noted they had failed to install the top finial on the light fixture. They had taken all the trash away so I couldn’t look for the piece that I knew was in a small plastic bag. I called Parrish Services to ask if they might look through their trucks and see if they could find it as a quick internet search revealed it might be hard to replace. I offered to come pick the piece up or wait until a return service I was scheduling to retrieve it if they were able to find it. A little before 6:00 PM my doorbell rang and there stood one of the electricians who had found the piece and had returned to finish the job. I have to say I was truly impressed. I cannot say enough for the professionalism of all the Parrish experts who have visited my home to complete work - from plumbing to HVAC to electrical needs they are accomplished in their field, communicate their arrival time, send a picture of who to expect, and are always completely professional in their interactions. Thank you Parrish Services for sending people to my home who not only do their jobs well but also go above and beyond expectations.

I received stellar service from Amanda and Nathan at Parrish Services from start to finish. I called them for a second opinion after another company told me my HVAC system was dead and irreparable, offering no explanation, and my only option was to buy an entirely new system - with options of $10K or $12K (and there is only one available, so you better act now). Nathan arrived early the next morning and took his time doing diagnostics, explaining to me what he was doing every step of the way. He was very knowledgeable and explained what the problems were and what he was doing to remedy them. He got my system back up and running in and stuck around until he knew it was steady. I was fully prepared to buy a new system anyway within the next few months and asked Nathan for estimates, but he told me that likely would not be necessary for another several years. This type of honesty and integrity is hard to come by these days. I cannot recommend Parrish Services enough and will be using them for all of my future HVAC, plumbing and electrical needs (I just moved into an older condo with MANY needs that keep surfacing, so be ready for my calls!!)

I called and heard: how can I make you smile today? I laughed and decided this is customer service and I want to work with this company. I was told who would arrive the next day, that he would sms before arrival.I got an SMS with his picture, a call to say he was on the way, and an email with a picture.Joe arrived with booties, no swag bag unfortunately, he was knowledgeable and I let him guide the plumbing decisions and purchases. He discussed his findings with me but I chose his advice. Thanks Parrish services for giving me the customer service experience I deserve.Because of that picture, I got the four year old involved in the project. I showed him the picture and told him to on the door. What will you do if its not that man, I asked him. He said close the door. The face had changed but it was fun and thoughtful and professional to send a picture.

There was no selling of products or talk to replace things that didn’t need replaced but they did offer prices if I wanted to have the work done anyway. Loved the full inspection they did. Gave me peace of mind as to our plumbing situation and what things might need to be dealt with down the road.Absolutely the best. Couldn’t be happier with the service.

Our backup generator did not come on during a recent power outage, but thankfully, the power was only out for about an hour. I called Parrish to report the issue, they dispatched Eric Smith to work the issue. Eric is personable, easy to work with and insightful. He quickly diagnosed the issue as a dead battery. He did not however, have one like it on his truck. He contacted Interstate Batteries in Lorton VA, about 13 miles from my residence. They had the battery my generator needed. He drove the 13 miles to Lorton and back, and installed the new battery. He tested the generator, and performed a power out test. The generator kicked on like it was suppose to, and cutoff after 3-5 minutes, simulating a power outage and return of street power. The generator was good to go! We once again have peace of mind that we have whole house backup of all power, when needed. I highly recommend Parrish Services, and in particular Eric Smith for their professionalism and response time.

From day one they were informative, listened to my needs and put together the best package possible for what I wanted. They brought a small army of workers to attack this very large project, addressed any issues I had during the installation and even proactively dealt with the normal problems that come up with this much work that was done. I highly recommend using Parrish Services and look forward to working with them again in the future.

The joys of being a homeowner…I had a leak from one of bathrooms in the house and needed to determine the origin of the leak, as well as repair it. With a plethora of plumbers in the area, it was hard to decide on a plumber.Our neighbor had used Parrish Services before; so on a lark we made an appointment with them. They were pretty well reviewed also.Joe Pascal was our plumber, and I cannot be more effusive in my praise for him. Highly professional, courteous, and personable, Joe took the time to address all my questions and concerns and explained what he was looking for as well as the possible origins of the leak.Joe was able to determine the root cause of the leak, and while he was not able to repair the issue the same day (he had to check to see if the parts were available from the supplier Parrish uses), I will be utilizing Parrish (and Joe) to fix the issue. Based on his fantastic customer service and professional knowledge he showed during this initial visit, I have no doubt that the follow up repair will be as painless as this visit was.

I have had a service contract with Parrish Services for many years. Everyone now and again I get pleasantly surprised with service for an issue that is most unpleasant.I had my semi-annual service check done 2 weeks ago. Over the past 2 days its been warm in the house. I called Parrish to come back to look at the A/C system again. In a matter of 2 hours they were able to schedule next-day service, and the tech re-arranged his calls for service so that he spent less time driving. That meant I was next on his schedule based on location of service calls.The tech ended up locating a major coolant leak. We opted for the lesser of two expenses by having the coil replaced (a quarter of the price of a brand new unit; still not cheap, but better than replacing the entire unit).I am thankful for Parrish Services scheduling diligence and courteous service. They bent over backwards to schedule a next-day appointment during a stretch of the year when they have an overabundance of A/C service calls.

Finally found a company who has expert knowledge of geothermal HVAC systems. He was able to diagnose my issue within minutes of arrival. I had two other companies, costing approximately $500, who suggested I needed either a new compressor or a new system. The problem was a clogged drain line. I will be switching to them for my maintenance and service.

I recently moved into a house that had a somewhat neglected standby generator. I called Parrish to come check the system out, carry out a belated annual service, and (hopefully) to give me a crash course on the details of the system. While the service was a little pricey, that price was given up front and was respected without question. The tech that came out, Doug B, was phenomenal! He showed me all of the details of the system, how to change settings on it, how to disable it, all the nuances of my particular model, which components were most likely to fail, and suggestions for what to keep an eye on for the future. He even walked me through how the system was wired at the panels (which was done rather unconventionally in my case) so that I could properly troubleshoot any future problems. He was totally straightforward and realistic and didnt try to upsell me or turn on the alarmist scare tactics that so many repair folks do. If you have a standby generator and you want somebody that knows what they are doing, definitely ask for Doug B.

Recently my wife and I had Parrish Services to replace our hot water heater, HVAC and outside AC unit ( all original and 20+years old). From start to finish the company was fantastic. I contacted them around noon on a Monday and they were at my house by 8 am Tuesday morning. We were sent a text message with a gps link to track the driver for ETA and a photo of the technician. All proper COVID 19 precautions were taken. The tech. Jason, was fantastic and evaluated our equipment and provided a series of recommendations for fixes and replacement. He was very upfront on what was actually needed To fix our issues and what would be considered an upgrade over our current equipment. The important part of this is never once did he try to up sell or mislead us, he intact went to great lengths to let us know what might be over kill or unneeded for our townhouse. That level of transparency and customer service is why I am giving them 5 stars. We decided to replace all of our old units with new models and within a week had 3 technicians at our house who replaced everything in about 8 hours. Thank you again to Jason, Ludwig and Alex for working at our home. I will highly recommend this company to anyone in need of there relevant services.

After some bad experiences with other companies, we ended up needing a full HVAC replacement. The Parrish team continues to serve and provide months after the system was installed. After some initial hiccups out of their control and our own, they were nimble, ontime, and friendly - even the folks answering the phones. When we had issues with the new system, they came out fast and didnt add any charges. Technicians answered all of our questions without ever making us feel foolish for asking. When we had follow up needs they showed up, offered help and advice on efficiency, and were always both warm and professional at the same time. They came out 6 weeks after the install when we thought we needed help, and because we are part of their annual service (just $16 per month!) they didnt charge a dime - and they could have without us knowing any better. We wont be using anyone else. They are trustworthy, capable, and professional. Theyve earned every star.Update: just had our first 6 month time up and had a professional and knowledgeable technician. He answered questions and have us great suggestions to improve our energy efficiency and comfort. Jason was again the HVAC tech for our summer service. When their tech is enroute to a customer’s home, Parrish sends a text or email with an ETA, a photo of the technician, and a brief comment about him. I noticed that in addition to being one of their senior HVAC techs, Jason also did plumbing. We also have a Parrish plumbing service plan and had our annual inspection 2 months ago. Last week my wife spotted a large water stain that had suddenly appeared on the wall of our utility room. Since he was also a plumber, I asked Jason’s opinion about the stain. Today, Stan and Sebastian showed up promptly at the estimated time and completed the job in a very timely, tidy, and professional manner. They were even friendly to my pets and offered tips and tricks to prevent future problems. The service guy called when about to be on his way. At the door he explained that he was basically sanitized head to toe to put me at ease during quarantine. Afterward he explained everything he’d done. It was a maintenance call and nothing was wrong, but he offered an upgrade—a protection against water backing up in my AC drainage system. He wasn’t pushy and didn’t pretend I “had” to have this thing. He just mentioned it and emailed me the info. Overall a pleasant, professional job.

Parrish Services was able to respond promptly to my request for service from a backed-up kitchen sink. Parrish emailed me when the technicians were on their way and gave me plenty of lead time to greet them at my door. Stan and Jason arrived and advised me that my problems went beyond a clogged trap. They walked me through the services they could provide and the pros and cons of each approach. They advised me that the best plan of action, rather than snaking the drain, was to completely remove the old rusted galvanized pipes and replace with PVC. At first, I thought this was just another plumber trying to make a buck off another customer who lacked the knowledge and experience to understand the problem. This was not the case. Stan clearly knew what he was talking about. The pipes were shot and in the process they were able to identify additional problems that were clearly not up to code and masked by another contractor. Stan and Jason were able to do the entire job, which required removal of pipes, jack hammering out a floor drain, installing a new vent pipe through the attic, in one day and definitely left everything better than they found it. I could not be more happy with the service they provided me and would highly recommend Parrish Services to my friends or family. Thanks again Parrish, especially to Stan and Jason.

The technicians (Cameron & Roberto) showed up on time and went to work on replacing my old water heater. They were quick, efficient, completed the replacement work in less than time than I thought it would take and did a thorough clean-up before departing. Cameron showed me how to use the controls for the water heater and how to adjust the water temperature, set it for a vacation and how to restart the pilot lite. He also provided me with all the documents needed to register my new water heater. Overall, very pleased with the work, my new water heater and the service provide by Parrish Services.

Thanks to Jason and Sharon for coming to our rescue over the weekend. We had a clogged sewer line that resulting in a really gross situation in our basement. And, we obviously could not shower or use toilets. Sharon was super professional and nice on the phone. She got us setup for emergency service the same day- a Saturday. Jason called ahead and did a great job communicating what he recommended and then getting a dirty job done. We are really grateful for the team at Parrish. We have used them for at least 15-20 years for HVAC as well as plumbing.
