Nick is an exceptional and professional Electrician. For our family, hes become the go-to person for all our electrical projects. Last year, he helped us install five electrical outlets in various places in our backyard. He had to run wiring through the basement, and he made the least amount of holes necessary to get the job done. Last month Nick installed a Tesla Wall Charger (Gen2) in our garage. Initially, Nick provided various options that would satisfy our needs and provided the pros and cons for each. Nick was able to find a solution that would fall within our budget. The wiring needed to be run from the garage to the box in the basement on the other side of the house. This time, Nick again ensured the work was done appropriately and used the correct amount of amperage and materials to prevent issues in the future. We can now charge the car in the garage. This work also included permits along with surge box maintenance. I would HIGHLY recommend Nick for any of your electrical projects, as we will continue to use his service. Thank you, Nick!

Excellent service, value, and quality of work. Comes HIGHLY recommended:Had previously received multiple referrals for an electrician that all fell through or just never responded. By happenstance, I stumbled onto A Good Electrician from a referral on my neighborhoods Facebook community page. I sent over my information via their webpage, and immediately heard from Nick. He scheduled my job for his next avaible appointment, and was at my house a few days later. Upon arrival, Nick and his helper were courteous and appeared to be professionally equipped/prepared to handle the job requested. Within minutes they went to work and started to diagnose the problem. They quickly identified a short in a wire that kept tripping a GFCI and replaced the wire and circuit all within a few hours. I can now utilize my outdoor plugs again just in time for Christmas! It had finally come to the moment I always fear when having any contracting work completed, the final bill! I was literally floored at how much cheaper A Good Electrician was compared to other “quotes” I received. It felt almost too good to be true, but it wasn’t. When they left my house I did not feel taken advantage of like I have experienced in the past with other contractors. I would highly recommend A Good Electrician and I have saved them in my phone should another electrical issue arise around my home. Outstanding all the way around!

Nick did a fantastic job installing 2 ceiling fans in my condo. I cold-called him, and he answered on the second ring. He was extremely communicative during the estimate and scheduling the installation. Estimate was sent by email and included specific details of the job. Estimate was 1/3 of the price I received from FH Furr. He was punctual, professional, and friendly. During the installation, he consulted with me every step of the way and explained exactly what he needed to do. Left my place very clean. No surprise costs, and he even accepted Venmo. Overall, a 10/10 experience. Will definitely hire him for future electrical needs!!

12/2023 Nick is professional, and very knowledgeable. He replaced every light in our house, and replaced all plugs and light switches. He cut holes for new wafer lights, center ceiling fans, and flush mounted light fixtures. He has installed new cat 6 wiring to the office and added several additional plugs. Several times we added more stuff for him to do and he kindly took it in stride and added it to his list. I highly recommend A Good Electrician!2/2024 we have had Nick back for other projects and as always, he does an excellent job. We trust him to handle all our electrical issues and new projects.

Nick really understands busy customers. When you reach out for an appointment he gives you a short window (about 2 hours) in which he will be there on the scheduled date. As the date gets closer he send a confirmation email, tightening that window. Excellent for busy customers who do not have all day to wait around. Nick is extremely knowledgeable and professional. We had a very difficult problem that took time to troubleshoot. Nick did it and did a great job. I highly recommend Nick and his company!

We were looking to install an EV charger before purchasing an EV and also was looking to upgrade the old breaker. I called Nick Mongillo from “A Good Electrician” due to a wiring issue where I lost power but the breaker was not tripped. I used his website contact us page and within 5 minutes he called me. I explained the issue, he explained his rates and we set an appointment for the next day. Nick called the next morning and said he was on his way. Got to the house on time and I explained the issue again. Nick quickly diagnosed the issue, found the problem (outlet was shorted and charred, causing my problem). Nick explained the possible causes of the issue and replace the outlet quickly and efficiently. I was lucky there was not a fire.One of the things that I really appreciate it was not only his work ethic, but the fact he explain to me what he was doing while he was doing it And ways of preventing it from happening again. The other thing I really appreciate it was he did not try to upsell me on additional services or products.I now have a great professional electrician that I feel confident I can call on anytime I need help.

Update: Added second job review.Second Job | I just had Nick come out as my fireplace switch stopped working. He was able to quickly diagnose the problem, gave me a good quote right on the spot, and then fixed the problem. After completing the work he went through and explained everything that was completed, answered my questions, and went on his way. Nick’s communication and attention to detail is excellent.—First Job | Nick was incredible! He quotes me a reasonable quote to run a line from my basement to my garage for an electric car. I didn’t know what to expect as an end product but absolutely love how thoughtful and clean the job looked when done. They completed everything over two days and cleaned up at the end of each day.I found my new go to electrician!

I needed a 240v power panel installed for my new Rivian EV. Nick, responded immediately, came over and conducted a thorough survey. His questions, and approach to making sure that everything on my cb panel was tightened down and insistance on installing a surge protector made me very comfortable The installation required routing the wire behind the sheetrock, through several 2x4s and drilling through a brick wall Difficult messy work. He cleaned up thoroughly afterwards. His price was very competitive.

Nick is a great guy and extremely professional; He did work for us back in 2020 to install a new subpanel in our garage and then run it out to our workshop/shed in the backyard. He was able to come out and give us a fair price while also practicing social distancing. He worked with us on making sure the main panel was to code along with supporting us for the future car charger that we are installing a few years later. We called him a few weeks ago to come by to help us understand the work that he had done previously, as we are about to start a reno project and he was able to come within the week and explain everything to us without hesitation and give us a few pointers for if we choose to expand. Lights and outlets stopped working in one of my guest rooms. This room always had electricity issues. I called Nick, and he made an appointment for the next day. Nick installed recessed lights and fix my ice maker machine outlet issue last year as well. They did an amazing job then.Edan came by yesterday and took a look at the guest room tripping issue. He was able to identify the real cause of the issue and fix the issue. Edan and Nick are very talented electricians, and I trust them for my electrical needs.
