This company was fantastic to work with. I spoke with the owner several times to set up the appointment and he was very honest and kind on the phone. The plumber that came out, Justin, was honest, friendly, and went above and beyond to clean the roots in our clay pipes and build up in our cast iron pipes. They never tried to sell us on anything and their pricing was fair. I will be using them from here on out for any future plumbing needs. Highly recommend!

Outstanding service, extremely honest. Michael and Caleb were so polite and straightforward. They had my old toilet out and new toilet in within an hour, but they didnt hurry. They took their time, and Michael spent time teaching Caleb the ropes. Michael is a very well spoken and polite man. Caleb was a great assistant and is a good learner. I would have them both out again for any issues I have in the future!

Gary Junior and his apprentice were my technicians for the day. They called in advance to let me know they were on their way. We were able to discuss what Junior thought was going on and he gave me a quote before starting work. They worked efficiently and filled me in with their findings along the way. They left the bathroom floor cleaner than what it had been before service. I would highly recommend 1-Tom-Plumber and Junior!

Junior and Michael came out, separately, to fix our clogged drain. Junior came out first and worked very hard to get our pipes unclogged, but was unsuccessful. He was confident that if they brought in Michael, their in house clog expert, he would be able to get to the bottom of it. Michael came out on his next available appointment and was very thorough in his explanation of his assessment and plan of action and was able to get everything cleared up. Im sure Juniors hard work loosened everything up and Michael was able to push the bulk of it through. They were both very courteous and cleaned up well after themselves, even put my washer back when he didnt have to. I will definitely be calling them again if we have issues with our pipes!

We arrived home in the wee hours of Tuesday morning and as I was getting ready to sleep, I heard a loud noise and thought I traced it to our frig. We got up Wednesday morning and I kept hearing the same noise. It sounded like the frig was operating loud. I traced the noise and uh-oh! I traced it to our crawl space. NOW it sounded like running water. I immediately shut off the main water supply to the house and I kept hearing the noise after the pipes had drained. Double uh-oh! I hurriedly got on the internet and not having dealt with a plumber in years, I looked for one with high reviews. I dont want just anyone doing work at my home!I found 1-Tom Plumber with 5 Stars reviews and gave them a call. They were booked until the next morning so I made an appointment for 9. About 10 minutes later I called them back, as I was getting worried about what was going on. I spoke with Leslie again. She was so helpful and I asked if there was any way she could squeeze me in. She put me on speaker and Junior and I talked. He said hed be out during his lunchtime to help.True to his word, he showed up as soon as he could get here and got right to work! It seems my sump pump pipe had come apart and there was close to 2 feet of water in my crawl space and my sump pump had floated up vertical from the force of the rains we got from the remnants of Hurricane Helene!Junior explained everything that happened, repaired my piping, replaced my sump pump with a new one and made sure it drained all the water out of my crawl space before he left. He was very thorough, professional, efficient, and communicative.Problem solved! I even booked him backfor another issue Im having.I highly recommend 1-Tom Plumber for all your emergency plumbing needs! Anybody can give you a cheap price and you can cost compare all day. But to me, service and proficiency plus getting the job done right are the most important aspects of dealing with any company. Its service that keeps me going back to do business with companies I frequent. So, if youre looking for a job done right, based on my experience, 1-Tom Plumber is the way to go!

Used 1-Tom after another company failed to provide service in a timely manner. Called 1-Tom for immediate service for a clogged drain. Initial service was on scheduled time. The tech was unable to resolve the issue but not through lack of trying. Another tech was scheduled to complete the work with more specialty with the issue. The second tech was able to resolve the issue. It wasnt cheap all told but we are satisfied with the result and the effort.

My boyfriend and I bought a house from a licensed plumber (looked him up and he WAS licensed. I would LOVE to drop his name here but not sure if it would count as defamation of character. Then again, it’s his handiwork and how he presented himself).Not even the second week of living in the house, we had the drain backing up. Consulted a plumbing company (NOT THIS ONE) who was very over priced. We got additional quotes from 1-Tom-plumber because something did not feel right with the other company.1-Tom-Plumber’s Plumber (JustinBishop) came out. We immediately knew he was very educated with plumbing based on how he presented information. He shared his extensive experience and research of plumbing throughout the USA from commercial to residential. Also, hes a kind individual because of how he did the quote originally. He did agree with the other company’s assessment but had more solutions to choose from!So, the mainline was clogged and cast iron (pipes from the 70s). This led to LITERALLY POOP being into the tubs. We couldn’t use our toilets or sinks (including dishwasher and washer) because it would cause more sewage to back up into our tubs and nearly overflow.This company has an option that the other did not mention. They installed a flex shaft to open the drain and extend the life of the pipe (which is a huge help because we are tight for money because we just bought this house a week or two prior). They also installed a ground clean out so that future snakes would be cheaper. We got to finance this through a company they had available where if you pay it off in a year it is interest free!This fixed the issue for a few days but then it started backing up again. We were having sewage leak from the base of the toilet in the master bathroom. There was also a clog under the house. Justin cleared the clog. He also inspected the toilet. Upon removing the toilet THERE WAS NOT A FLANGE CONNECTING THE TOILET TO THE PIPES. JUST A REPAIR RING. So, we had sewage leaking into the baseboards because the toilet was not installed up to code. Justin installed a pipe for the toilet to proper drain into along with a flange and wax ring (basically installed the toilets how they should have been installed). This was great! Couple days later same issue different bathroom.So, Justin came out and scoped the pipes. He found a hard piece of debris in the house pipe. He discovered the hallway bathroom was ALSO not on a flange/was not installed improperly. So, he installed the piece for the toilet to drain and also a new flange and wax ring. He was able to break the debris up and jetted it to the city’s sewer main. The debris was a tile piece from where the flipper plumber house selling man replaced the tile but apparently threw some of the old tile down the pipes. After this, Justin jetted the pipes to make sure there was nothing at all in the pipes all the way to the city sewer main. He reassured us that this should fix all the issues and this should not happen again because there’s nothing in the pipes to clog and the toilets are sealed and installed properly now.Throughout the process, Justin was kind, quirky, and funny. This helped us through the process of being royally screwed by the license plumber we bought the house from. Justin cut us deals when he could at every chance. This whole process could have been avoided if the licensed plumber we bought the house from (who lives in bardstown Kentucky) would have just done things right. He knew what he did and is being reported to the city. All this hassle was basically playing hide and seek with all the ways he messed up our plumbing!We recommend Justin Bishop for any and all your plumbing needs! Definitely a trust worthy individual that made the process as smooth as possible for us! He’s thorough, intelligent, experienced, funny, quirky, and kind which is the best combos for a plumber! Always gets the job done without complaints, even if over booked or running into more extensive problems! Couldn’t have done it with it him!Thank you Justin Bishop at 1 Tom Plumber!

They sent out two technicians who assessed the situation using a sewer line inspection camera. The technicians were very courteous, and very helpful in assessing and explaining the situation. Junior and Marvin are amazing and any time I need a plumber I make sure to call 1-Tom-Plumber and ask for them every time! They went above my expectations and even helped a distressed neighbor I have in the process. I could now recommend them enough!

John Foster Made sure to come later in the day knowing I worked nights. Very quick on estimate and complete worked with what I wanted to do only. Updating today (4-25-24) due to actual job onsite. John came today to fix my bathtubs plumbing. It was done in about an hr or so. Love the new pipes. Fixed it up to prevent future leaks as well!

Michael was absolutely fantastic. We had an emergency with sewage backing up into our basement and 1-Tom was at our house 45 minutes before our appointment and took care of the problem and recommend a restoration service to help with cleanup. I can’t express how happy I am with the service, the quality, the professionalism, and extreme promptness of this company. If you ever have a plumbing issue, emergency or not, call these folks.
