John completed two projects for us this year that we are very happy with. The first one was a banquette he built from scratch for our kitchen where there was nothing before. I told him what I wanted, and he was able to come up with the measurements to make it work with only layman’s guidance from me. He included storage under each seat, which is extremely useful! He navigated moving an electrical outlet and building around the existing air vent so we did not lose any functionality there. We are extremely happy with the results and the fact that I didn’t have to provide specific measurements or design. I just told him to “build us a banquette with storage that kinda looks like these pictures”, and John took it from there. He took care to make the design match with the existing trim as well. This is the perfect addition to our kitchen, and we are very happy with the results! The second project was a buffet for our kitchen that included space for a beverage fridge and built-in drawers. Again on this one, I told John what we wanted, and he custom-built it from scratch to fit our space. The beverage fridge fit perfectly when it was installed, and we are totally happy with the final results! John built in beautiful and very functional drawers as well, which I had not even thought of having. I was glad he made that suggestion. Overall we are extremely happy with the results that John provided for us between the banquette and buffet, and John will continue to be our go-to guy for the future custom woodwork we plan to do in our house. Highly recommend John!

John Hay was always responsive andCommunicative. He built our bannister and we couldn’t be more pleased. He was very neat and got the job done quickly. Would highly recommended.
