This should be your first and last call. Mr. Richard goes above and beyond. This is my second time dealing with Richard. He does the job right and gives a better than fair price. Richard installed a tankless water heater at my home. He left to go get pex water lines to replace my old plastic pipes at no extra charge. Again, he does care about a job well done.

I had very good service from AJ when he came and disconnected my gas range so new floor tile could be installed. He was also the one who came and reinstalled the range. Very professional and careful to not scratch the floor while moving the range. Getting someone who cared and also careful was important to me. We highly recommend Richard at Lexington Plumbing! My husband accidentally hit a water line while digging a hole to plant a shrub. It was a tremendous inconvenience, as we had to shut the water completely off. Richard was recommended to us by another plumber who said we would get good work at a fair price. Not only did we get GREAT work at a very fair price, we got to meet a really great guy. Richard was here within a couple of hours after my initial call. Had a leak in our house that caused a bit of damage down into our garage from our master bath. I was pretty stressed about it as it is now our second leak. We saw Lexington Plumbing had great reviews and wanting to keep it local I called Richard. He came out on a Saturday to help us out. He quickly located the leak and fixed it promptly. Very honest guy that does not take advantage, which was very surprising to me after experiences with other plumbers in the area. I will never call anyone other than Lexington Plumbing again! After getting quotes from four different plumbers, I contacted Lexington Plumbing and was so glad I made that call. In addition to a complimentary estimate (which is basically unheard of nowadays), Richard gave me lots of detailed feedback on our plan to put in three new toilets, a sink faucet, and replacing two aged shower/tub fixtures and subsequently gave us a very favorable estimate for the work. After hearing from the other guys, chatting with Richard about our work was a breath of fresh air because of his candor and honesty regarding the work. Reminds one of the good ole days when a handshake and verbal agreement means something! Highly recommend.

I called Lexington Plumbing and gas this morning at 5:45 because the shower faucet would not shut off. The phone was answered quickly and very pleasantly. By 8am, the faucet was fixed. I call that great customer Service. The price was nit what I expected. I have had other plumbing services come out here, and the charge about double what Lexington Plumbing and Gas does, especially for emergency service. On top of that I received a 5 year warranty on the part and service. I will be calling Lexington Plumbing and Gas for all my plumbing needs from now on.

Had the pleasure of meeting Mr Richard from the call I made in regards to a water booster pump that I had in my home that was going bad. The unit helps control my hot water feature and it just kept running. As soon as I mentioned booster pump, he knew where I lived and stated I’ve done several of those in your neighborhood. He was in the area and wanted to come by that Sunday afternoon 4/29/24 when I placed the call. HE ANSWERED ON A SUNDAY YALL. I was thinking I was going to get an answering service and leave a message. Nope! I spoke to a real person. I was at work and he said I can come by 1st thing Monday morning and sure enough at 8am he was ringing my doorbell. I explained to him what issues I was having and he said I can get you fixed today if the part is available at a local distributor. Unfortunately the part wasn’t available but would be there on Tuesday. Mr Richard was at my home the next morning and it took all of maybe 2 hours for him to exchange the pump out. When I tell you he is the sweetest person. He was honest with me and didn’t try to overcharge or upsell me things I didn’t need. I had another company come out and the technician had to google information about the booster pump as he had never heard of it. How could that be???? Haven’t had a issue with this booster pump and the hot water is great. Mr Richard gave me a 5 year warranty on his work. The new pump is much quieter and bigger than the mumbo jumbo part they put in here when my house was built. The following day Mr Richard came back to service my tankless water system, which I was told I needed a new one by again another Company because the one I had was installed incorrectly and couldn’t be serviced. Liesssss they told me! If it wasn’t operational then I wouldn’t have water. Just because I’m a female don’t think I’m a pushover and believe what you’re saying and thinking I’m about to pay almost 3k for something I don’t need. Anyway Mr Richard was honest and explained everything to me. This morning 5/9/24 my toilet in the bathroom was clogged. Tried the plunger several times and it just wouldn’t flush. I placed a call to Mr Richard to come see what was wrong with it, he was there in less than 2 hours after he completed another job and had that toilet unclogged in less than a few minutes. I say all this to let you know that LEXINGTON PLUMBING &GAS HAS A CUSTOMER FOREVER AND I WILL GLADLY REFER MR RICHARD. Some folks will try to nickel and dime you for everything, their prices are reasonable and to be honest cheaper than most of these other companies. If you’re in need of a RELIABLE, TRUSTWORTHY TECHNICIAN Please do your home and self a favor and call Lexington Plumbing &Gas.

Called Lexington Plumbing around noon on Monday to get an estimate to replace my leaking 50gal water heater. Richard was at my door two hours later; he gave me an estimate and told me they could do the work the following morning. AJ showed up at 800am and was done well before lunch. Both AJ and Richard were professional and courteous, the price was reasonable (did not try to rip me off as another large outfit had tried to do), and they showed up to do the work when promised. I am happy with their service and plan to use Lexington Plumbing again in the future.

Excellent service; called on a Sunday morning about 8:30 AM and Richard texted back immediately. Our Rinnai hot water heater had gone out and Richard was onsite within 2 hours. He did a hard reset on the unit and got it working and then came back the next day to descale the unit and replace the controller. These days where it seems harder and harder to get good service, I cannot say how pleased I was with Richard, his response, and his work.

Mr. Richard came out and looked at our bathtub faucet after we had a previous plumber try to overcharge us and tell us it was a bigger issue and needed replumbing with our hot water heater and pipes when I knew it was a simpler issue. I explained the issue to Richard and what happened with the first plumber and he went right to it and fixed it. It was just a cartridge issue and it was put on backwards when the house was built 20 years. I was so impressed that he listened to the issue at hand and did exactly what we asked him to come out for. Now I have hot water in my bathtub and I couldnt be happier!! He was extremely polite, personable and came out in a timely manner. I would 100% recommend him for any plumbing job and will definitely use him again! Local guys, prompt, knowledgeable, communicative, and just so amazing!They fixed my leaky outdoor faucet the DAY AFTER I phoned them at closing time. Floored me. They were right here when I needed them and I didnt have to wait! Richard took a look in my crawlspace because I was curious how to turn my water off, and he kindly went down with me to show me what to do, and he noticed a few issues that I had that I didnt even really know about. He went above and beyond teaching me about my plumbing and water systems. Just amazing! I was so impressed with his courtesy and integrity that I hired him on the spot to do some extra work for me that I had been intending to do, and he and AJ showed up 2 days later (in the rain!) to replace my water tank, rework some pipes and hoses down there, and to outfit the house with a FANTASTIC new saltless water system. We recently used this company to install a tankless hot water heater. The quality of work and quick responsiveness was fantastic! Richard walked us through the entire process when he came out to give us a free estimate, and he took care of everything, including picking up the hot water heater we wanted and all the supplies needed. They did such a great job. They had reroute the water and gas and did a great job. It looked so much better than before. They stayed late to finish the job so we would have hot water for morning showers. I will definitely use them again for all my plumbing needs.

Richard was a blessing from God. Our hot water heater had started leaking uncontrollably and the first company I called wanted $3400 to install and replace with their high quality heater and parts, plus an additional $561 to install a PRV and $242 for a heater pad. Crazy! So I had them cap off the line to the heater for us to at least have water. They suggested we buy our own water heater to lessen the cost but still wouldve been $3000 out of pocket. I went on to research more on this particular company and found that they are truly expensive. Quality work does not have to cost of fortune. I found a review on their website from someone who was experiencing a similar issue and that is how I came to reach out to Richard at Lexington Plumbing and Gas. Richard explained to me that all those items that they wanted to install were not required and the product they recommended was the worst grade product to use. With Lexington Plumbing and gas, the job costed me for the hot water heater install and PRV under $2000 and worked with me on payment so I didnt have to go any longer without hot water since it had already been a week. AJ, also a firefighter, came to do the work on his off shift. Excellent job! Knew what he was doing. Job didnt take more than 3 hours. No complaints here! Truly life savers and true men of service. I appreciate it.

The faucet in my bathtub had leaked all weekend. On Monday morning I started calling plumbers in my area. All of them said they could not get to me until tomorrow. My last and final call was to Lexington plumbing, Richard answered the phone and said he was on his way to a quote, but he needed to get to my house quickly and he came right away. While he was here he discovered some other issues that could affect my home and we are now the proud owners of a tankless hot water heater with a10 year warranty ! I had a problem with the tub/shower faucet for which I needed immediate help because the water would not turn off. Fortunately I had cut offs which were under the house.So I would either need to crawl under the house in the mud and turn the water on, take a shower, and then crawl back under the house to cut it back off which kind of negated the point of the shower, or not shower, neither option being satisfactory.I do a lot of my own plumbing, but this was beyond my expertise. I found Lexington plumbing and gas on line and was very impressed with the website so I called. Richard answered the phone, we discussed the problem and he was able to come out the following day.I was most impressed with Richard. Excellent plumber and extremely fine person. Obviously we talked a lot while he worked. As a landlord who has dealt with a number of plumbers over the years, I cannot say enough about Richard. First rate and reasonable. He will be my go to plumber from now on.

Our water heater broke less than a week before Christmas and we were looking to install a tankless gas hot water heater. After getting a few quotes, Lexington Plumbing and Gas was by far the best deal. Lexington Plumbing and Gas was the only company that did not try to sell me a unit that was much larger (and more expensive) than I needed.Not only did Richard provide a fair price for quality work, he even offered to do the installation on Christmas Eve because he didn’t want us to go through the holidays with cold water! On wed i noticed that my pressure tank was quick cycling by thurs at 4am i noticed the well motor doing the same. i thought the well pump was going . found richard online due his reviews and his family are veterans. richard came out early thurs and found it to be the pressure switch. due to his schedule he could not come back on thurs but showed up at 0640 fri morning. damn who does that anymore. richard was quick, knowledgeable and honest. he comes highly recommended from this retired army colonel.

I needed the pilot light lit for my gas logs (not tackling this myself!) and had a question about ventilation, so I gave Lex. Plumbing a call. It was returned quickly and I set up a time for Richard to come to the house. He lit the pilot light, answered my questions, and the logs are working like a champ. The best part was that he texted to say he was running late (it’s a rainy Monday — I get it) and I appreciated him letting me know — some service men neglect to do this. We called Richard and he responded right away. He was prepared to send his person out the same day. Due to the nature of our issue, we thought our pump up tank needed replacing, he sent an electrician out first to see if it was an electrical issue rather than a pump issue. Come to find out it was an electrical issue and not a plumbing issue, of which the electrician he sent was very honest, repaired the issue, and we were charged only minimal money. We were very appreciative of Richards honesty and assistance in this matter.

We are a local owned plumbing company and when in trouble we called Lexington Plumbing!!! He came over in an emergency and fixed are septic tank problems, we had sewer backing up everywhere! I highly recommend Lexington Plumbing and Gas. Richard came to look at my broken water heater within 20 minutes of taking my call on a Saturday. I requested a quote on installing a tankless water heater. He gave me a very reasonable one for installing it and a new gas line. He ordered the water heater and installed it efficiently when it arrived. He had to come back at a later date to remove the old heaters because they were clogged with sediment and drained slowly. He kept me updated about his return to complete the project. Richard was courteous, friendly, trustworthy, and did great work. He truly cared about getting the hot water working again.

Ive had a lot of people out for various repairs and services over the years but I rarely find the need to leave a review. Theres a lot that sticks out about Richard and his services that makes me feel compelled to speak about my experience.I woke up one morning to water dripping beside me on the bed. I called Richard who arrived as promptly as he could to identify the source of the leak. He identified two possible locations that could be causing it and told me hed need to possibly wait for parts, and would return as quickly as possible.In his absence something happened that made us realize which source was the definitive leak, but resulted in us accidentally flooding the ceiling even more. We called him back and he said he would be there earlier the next day than he had initially planned for. He called back a moment later and asked if the toilet in question belonged to someone handicapped (something I think he observed while walking through their room) and we said yes, indeed she was disabled. He said nevermind, hed be there that day, and would let us know he was on his way as soon as he could, because he didnt want her to be without access to her toilet.Indeed he did show up that evening during dinner, went straight up, and fixed the leak. He returned the next day and fixed another issue with the toilet that left it running constantly as well, because he didnt have the kit for that on hand.Very infrequently is consideration given for the needs of the disabled and their inability to simply be able to just do something else should the need arise. Anyone else in the home couldve easily just have used a different bathroom, but she cant, so I appreciate Richard making sure he took steps to make it easier for her.

Outstanding customer service and phenomenal response time! It was Sunday morning, on Mother’s Day no less, when I contacted Lexington Plumbing with an emergency. The owner, Richard, answered my phone call, provided an ETA, and arrived as promised. He diligently worked to identify the issue and resolve the problem. Additionally, he took the time to explain the issue and offered several ways to permanently fix it so it would no longer be a concern moving forward. This was the fourth time we had a service call for the same issue, and all the previous calls resulted in fixing the immediate problem but never offering solutions for a permanent fix. Thankfully Lexington Plumbing came to the rescue, and we will definitely work with them in the future and recommend them to anyone in the area needing plumbing work. So I called Lexington Plumbing next. They came out and said it needed a new valve switch for $200 or they could replace it for $1,000. He fixed the valve switch AND even took off an additional $49 to make up for the other Irmo plumbing company. Now thats honest, great service! Highly recommend.
