From the initial contact with the office staff...the interaction was professional, courteous, compassionate and prompt. Colt was the plumber sent out. He was very detailed and professional; quickly found the issue and repaired it. The prices are affordable, definitely not excessive. They tell you prices upfront like before they come out and after they find the problem before they make the repair. The company says they provide honest fair pricing and they do. Also, they didnt ask me to give them a good review (like most companies do these days) or tell me a survey was coming. So this is my honest feedback.

Mitchell and his apprentice arrived ahead of their service window and promptly got the job of flushing our tankless water heater underway. While that was ongoing they assessed options for another request we had and methodically walked us through the pros/cons of the various options. Once we decided on the most logical option, they proceeded with working up a cost estimate. Being recent transplants to SC, we are glad we were able to locate the professional services of Kay Plumbing.Update (6/26/24): We decided to go ahead with the option to add a spigot on the side of our house based on Mitchell’s assessment. Mitchell showed up on time and promptly went to work by accessing the water line in the outside wall of our master closet. He was very conscientious and was done within the time estimated including the clean-up in our closet. We strongly recommend Kay Plumbing for all your plumbing needs.12/27/2024 We were prepping for dinner and had a sink clog and backup after we ran the garbage disposal…called Kay Plumbing immediately and even though it was just before 4pm on a Friday, they sent Jared right over. Jared was very polite & professional and diagnosed the problem and got right to work. By 5pm the problem was resolved and we were back prepping for dinner. I will say I had a bad experience to start with on a tankless water heater purchased from Kay, but Konrad and his team did an excellent job rectifying the issues. We had a water leak and the culprit turned out to be the water line from the house to the main water turn off/meter. Max dug a trench through our lawn and ran a new line, put in a turn off valve right near the house that is way more convenient than before. And best of all, he ran the line under our cement walkway, which left our walkway intact. The pricing was reasonable considering that the first plumber that came in to assess the situation gave me a quote that was double what I paid to Kay Plumbing.

Kaye Plumbing literally saved our Thanksgiving. We had countertops installed before the holiday and the plumbing company we used could not install our sink hardware in time (they were called out on an emergency and never returned), we called every plumbing company within 10 miles and Kaye was the only one that could come out...the day before Thanksgiving! They did what they could that day and then returned ON THANKSGIVING, and got us connected just in time to make our holiday meal. I cannot say enough about this business... Called at 9am, they were at our house within an hour and done/gone by 11:15am. My hot water heated decided to spring a leak on a Friday evening and the water shut off valve would not completely stop the water. I looked on line to find plumbing services that dealt with emergency issues.I started at the top of the list. The first company I spoke with stated they could have someone call and setup an appointment when they opened on Monday. (That is not going to work when water is shooting out the side of the hot water heater causing a stream of water to flow out the garage) I attempted to call 2 more companies listed as emergency plumbing services and no one answered the phone.I then called Kay plumbing. The person that answered the phone (I believe her name was April) was extremely helpful and nice. When the service person was enroute she called to give me his name and ETA. I also received a text with his name and photo which I thought was a nice safety feature.Colt showed up to take care of the issue. He got the water shut off and then we discussed the possible repair options and various cost. He was courteous and professional.It was not a great situation to be in but I appreciate the kind, courteous and professional employees that Kay Plumbing has that help me get through it.

Maxwell, from Kay Plumbing, arrived within an hour of an emergency call at 5 AM on Easter morning and promptly turned off the right valve. After an hour he knew the basic location of a slab leak. At that point, he took time to give me a couple of options, and after deciding on day and time, he returned during business hours. They found the pipe with a very small hole buried deep in the concrete in the water closet. I have become an expert thanks to a service company that answered all my questions, including those from my insurance company! Also, he recommended RestoPros for the mitigation/restoration of flooring with water under some areas. I am into the process now and highly recommend that company, as well. Max was excellent today in moving a gas cutoff valve for installation of a new range, but I’ve had no complaints about anyone they sent. I used Kay Plumbing to replace the leaking copper pipes under my house about 7 years ago and they were beyond fantastic. All of the pipes under the house had to be replaced. They advised me at that time, I would probably need to re-plumb the upstairs at some point and sure enough, on Nov 2, 2022 watering began pouring from the ceiling in my kitchen. Matt from Kay Plumbing came out right away to do the repair. Today they completed a re-plumbing job on my entire upstairs. They had to cut into my downstairs ceilings and second floor walls to replace all my water pipes. Matt and Carson went above and beyond to cover everything with plastic, protect my floors and cleaned up thoroughly before they left. I am completely satisfied with their quality of work, their professionalism, and the cost. I am definitely a loyal customer and will use them for all my plumbing needs in the future. These guys are great! They came out and installed a new faucet and reattached our disposal after we got new kitchen countertops. They were very professional and did a great job! When they were unable to complete the installation of the new air switch for the disposal, they recommended a very good electrician who finished up the job. Thank-you, Kay Plumbing!

My daughter’s hot water heater went out on a Thursday evening. That night I left a message for Kay Plumbing to request their help getting a quote to repair or replace it. I received a call the next morning before 8:00. By 8:45 Jon and Kalix arrived to determine what needed to be done. By 9:00 I had a quote for replacing the water heater and they were on their way to their shop to get a replacement. By Friday afternoon they were done and my daughter had hot water again.Everyone I dealt with at Kay Plumbing, from the office staff to the plumbers, were fantastic. Jon and Kalix did an outstanding job installing the water heater which was very difficult because it was in the attic. Additionally Kay was also over $1,300 cheaper than a quote I received last year another area plumber when we had some work done on the same water heater.I definitely have found my “go to” plumbing company.

Our water heater was tripping our circuit breaker. Called at 9:30 am and had a technician out by 1 pm. By 3 pm the problem was diagnosed and repaired. Because of our $10 per month service agreement our there was no trip charge. Thank you.

Bruce, my Service Tech was the BEST!!! He was quick and thorough. He not only fix the issue, but he also recommend other services for upgrades adn provided a bid for the replacement upgrades. Calling in to make an appointment was quick and easy as well. This is my second time using this company and to be honest, both services were absolutely professional. I would recommend this company to all of my family and friends.

They dispatched a plumber that same day. He was professional , efficient, and respectful. They kept in contact with me the whole time so I would know when he was going to be there.
