The best of the best!I purchased a new high tech water monitoring system, That shuts off the water main, if it detects a major leak, and reports water usage to your smart phone, I needed to move my water main, into my garage to get it working, Ivan My technician, was helpful, he changed the job to exactly fit my needs, he was friendly, professional... and FAST!!(I need more stars!)

This place is great. Contacted them on a Sunday, said they would send out a technician out on Monday (wasn’t urgent). Someone called me first thing on Monday to touch base and let me know that they would text me when a technician would be on their way. Gave me a window of 10-2. And he came around 1130. Nicholas was super professional, chill, and explained everything really well. Completed my job in less than 30 minutes and everything works great! They also give a 30 day warranty to their work at no additional charge which is really awesome as well. Will definitely use them again if something pops up!

Carlos Quintana & Thomas Lopez came to our home for air conditioner repair. Carlos came out 1st because we thought we had a plumbing problem, it wasn’t but he got on the phone to call his supervisor for help with our problem. Made an appointment for HVAC the next day. Thomas came out and checked our air conditioner and found out there was a problem with the insulation preformed from a different company and the water that was leaking was from an air duct. Told us to contact the original company to fix the problem which they did. Hawthorne Plumbing was the only company that could come out the same day to check to see what was going on. The next time we have a problem they will be the company we call for help. Very professional.October 3, 2020Needed a plumber to install a garbage disposal. Nick from Hawthorne came out to our home to do the installation he is very professional and knowledgeable about his job. We called on a Sunday and there was an actual receptionist that scheduled our appointment how refreshing is that? So from the receptionist to the dispatcher to the technician and billing we are very pleased with Hawthorne Plumbing & Heating. In the last couple of weeks they have been there to offer their services.

I received information on his arrival, who was coming, etc. Upon his arrival, he provided his assessment, received options and was able to schedule next day installation. Service technician explained installation, new code regulations and changes and left the area cleaner than when he arrived! I highly recommend the quality service, knowledgeable technician and great customer service.

He took electronic measurements from the actual controller boards and helped us make a decision to replace one of the capacitors. We scheduled our annual water heater service. Hawthorn came out on time (text 20 minutes before with a photo of the technician). Entire servicing was done in a very professional fashion. They replaced the anode rod which I supplied. Left my house clean. Very pleased with the service (this is the 10th year that they have come out for this service. Each time excellent service)

Great employees and services provided contacted for an appointment got my problem diagnosed and got emergency water service done on the weekend and after discussion on options and financing went with some of the better options that fit my budget. Final work for water system and tankless water heater done during the week and very happy with installation and water quality.Thank you for completing both installs in one day . Two days ago, on a Sunday, our 50 gallon water heater busted and water was pouring out into the garage. I immediately called my home warranty company, and advised their answering service that I needed a plumber to respond ASAP to replace the unit. I was told to call back on Monday -- they open at 6:00 a.m. Pacific time. That was no help whatsoever. I remembered that Hawthorne had replaced a water heater for me about 10 years ago, so I called them, and they dispatched a plumber shortly thereafter (not sure if it is okay to give the plumbers name, but he was awesome). He assessed the situation and explained what we needed, but knew that we wanted to wait to hear from our warranty company, hoping that our insurance would cover the cost. On Monday, our warranty company said they would not do the work, because the water heater was still under warranty. That makes no sense to me. So, I called Hawthorne right after and requested the awesome plumber to replace the unit, which he did within a few hours. Happy to report that Hawthorne came to our rescue, plumber was very efficient, in replacing the unit, and we now have hot water. I highly recommend this company!

The workers were very good however the first water heater they put in leaked had to install a second one. The price was at least double what I ever expected. Hard to believe a water heater could be $4000 nowadays, doesn’t make any sense. My home warranty only reimbursed less than half of what I paid. Hard to ever recommend a company with such high prices.

Although things started off on the wrong foot, manager, Angel Martinez, handled the situation beautifully. Mr Martinez replied immediately to my concern with professionalism and knowledge. He truly wanted to please me and have a happy and satisfied customer. Chris, the plumber, did an excellent job installing my new toilet, and within minutes after my new toilet was installed, Mr Martinez contacted me to see if I was happy with the new toilet. We need more people with outstanding work ethics like Mr Martinez.

I mistakenly had put the wrong foods down my garbage disposal which caused it to clog. I was able to clear the clog on my own but the dishwasher, in turn, would not drain. I called Hawthorne Plumbing to fix the clogged dishwasher and to repair the leaky faucet that I had tolerated for several months. The technician, Michael, responded and took care of the issues. While fixing the clog, he pointed out that the two shut-off valves for the sink were corroded and the plastic handles had broken off. I am the original owner of my house and seeing as how it is 28 years old, I had Michael look at all the other valves knowing that they were the originals. Indeed, the majority of the valves needed to be replaced and the job was completed in a timely manner. I didnt price shop nor collect other estimates so I have no idea if I paid a fair price for the job or not. All I know is that I could not have done the work myself and I feel comfortable knowing that I should, hopefully, get another 28 years out of my shut-off valves! ha!

We originally called when the Lowes installation guys couldnt hook up our new fridge to the water line. Hawthorne sent out Mike to help. Took him less then 5 mins to have everything hooked up and working great. Mike was so helpful we scheduled a second service call to have him install our new RO water filtration system. There were some issues with the system we ordered and he had to come back a third time to finish the install after the issue was remedied. All the while, Mike was amazingly patient, helpful, professional, and friendly. We even waited 2 weeks for the final appointment while Mike was out sick, we trusted him and were happy to wait for him to recover. Hawthorne offered to send a second tech but we wanted to wait for Mike. When the dust cleared Mike had done a wonderful job! He even took time to walk us through some stuff in the house we just bought that we.werent familiar with, being from the east coast. I can say with all honesty, Ive never been happier with a Service company. Hawthorne is great, and Mike is fabulous. We are very pleased.

I received excellent service from the time I placed the call until the work was completed!! My water heater would not stay lit and the gas contol valve needed to be replaced. I was not pressured into replacing the whole unit which I appreciated even though I know it was needed due to the age of the water heater and it not being up to code. Ivan was awesome! He went and got the part and had it changed out in about an hour.

I had discovered that my garage had turned into a pool overnight, the 2 year old water heater that theyd installed had failed (not due to their workmanship); this was around 5:45am, they had a tech out by 9:00, and the replacement was installed and ready to go by around 2:00pm. All in all, aside from the stress from the cleanup, it was an overall good experience. They even hauled off an old water softener that came with the house free of charge! Definitely keeping them on standby!

Very professional, punctual, high quality. I have used Hawthorn many times and always been satisfied with both the people who take my phone call and with the plumbers . They are both professional responsive and punctual. The plumbers are excellent. He assessed the situation and fixed it promptly. I called six services that day. Only one other company (other than Hawthorn) called me back but called me back four and a half hour later. I love their yearly service but this l could not afford to sigh up

Jacob came over to provide a free inspection/estimate on work that needed to be done. My kitchen drop-down facet hose had cracked and was spraying/leaking under the sink for quite some time. At first, I though it was the gasket from the water supply connection, however, he did a thorough inspection and found no leaks (I had already removed the hose).He was completely professional. Had very high standards on safety and protection. He wore a mask, gloves and had put on covers for his feet before entering my home. I was even sent a courtesy text 30 mins prior to my appointment with a picture of Jacob, so I know who was coming to my door.Jacob offered to return after I have my kitchen island opened up to remove the damage drywall. He wanted to inspect all the plumbing in the damage area that was not able to be seen to ensure there are no future issues. Very good and professional company. Will be utilizing them for any future needs.

I would highly recommend Hawthorne Plumbing. I can tell you as a first time homeowner, I have had so many ‘learning experiences’ with the plumbing in my house. I’ve had small repairs, like a small hardware replacement in the shower, and huge repairs, like a slab leak, all have been handled professionally by Hawthorne Plumbing. Had them out this week to fix up some ‘interesting’ plumbing work under my kitchen sink and it was another smooth experience with this company. The service was fine. The plumber, Ian, was great. The price quoted was very high, but with a leaking pipe in a multi-unit condo I couldnt let it go overnight or I would have gotten another quote. That is a professional opinion as I am a retired general contractor and facilities maintenance professional.Update:The service manager called me a couple of days after the service regarding my initial lower rating and said that they had mis-classified the charges for my service and I would be getting a $298 refund on the $708 initial bill. This is more in line with what the charge should have been. I have received the refund and I am now very satisfied with this transaction.

PLEASE SEE BELOW FOR A FEW UPDATESI have been using Hawthorne for over 15 years. Their quality of work has always been exemplary. You may find cheaper but you wont find better.They done a variety of repairs over thg he years from minor to major. On the major end, they have my AC and Heating units, installed an air purification system, new service free water softener, new hot water heaters.Their plumbers and AC guys are all very competent and quick and efficient about their work. They are also respectful and courteous. I have always been comfortable with them in my home and they have had to be there for extended periods of time on some jobs. I have truly found that to be a priceless advantage of using their services,I have had a service contract with them for many years and it is worth every penny.Last year when I was replacing my AC units, I called a few places for estimates. Goettl never even returned my call and Ivwss looking to get a new water softener as well. 2 jobs and I couldnt get past a screening call.The Hawthorne HVAC representative came out and provided me with 8 different estimates at varying prices. He is also the only one that went into my attic to inspect things.At 3 am on 06/11/22 (a Saturday), I discovered my ceiling was leaking water in a room downstairs. The person who fielded the call couldnt have been nicer and more patient because I was panicked.The on call plumber (Jessie) called me right away and was at my house by 4 am. He quickly identified the issue; explained what he had to do and too care of business. He was done in a little over an hour. Very polite but focused on his work. He helped me cover my property and furniture in that room so it wouldnt be damaged during the repair.He advised that I needed to contact a water reclamation company to check for mold and other hazards, before repairing the hole in my ceiljng. I would not have known that if he didnt tell me. Others might but I didnt!Never been more grateful for Hawthore and their staff than yesterday at 3 am on a weekend!I WISH TO ADD TO THIS AS IVE HAD ANOTHER UNEXPECTED REPAIR. NONE OF US NEED OUR HOT WATER HEATER TO DIE. ITS EXPENSIVE AND NEVER WELCOME.IT HAPPENED TO ME OTHER DAY AT THE WORSE POSSIBLE TIME! I didnt want to erase the above because those reviews was s were valid.I recently had a tankless hot water heater installed. Its quite the process for those who are not familiar and it takes quite a bit of intricate and painstaking work by the plumbers. The lead plumber, Chtis Arrellano, has hung in there with me and been so patient and professional, even when I havent been patient and am sure I was annoying. He has worked long hours to finish this project and never once looked at a clock.Chris work even was praised by the City Inspector. He noted that no short cuts were taken and the person responsible clearly took pride in their work. Nice thing to hear as a consumer!Angel Martinez continues to be a true angel and takes great care of me. He makes me feel like my issues and home are important. And not just with nice words but actions. Hes kept every word and promise.Had my heating units winterized recently. The staff even moved me up a day. Eric and Andrew took great care of me as they always do.They make me feel important and taken care of!!I will use no one else but Hawthorne. I trust them and have faith in their work. Had previously used Hawthorne for a sewer problem. We were completely satisfied with with the service. Jake Godzak was our technician. That was 10 months ago. This week we had a break in the main water line going the house. Because of your previous great service I called Hawthorne again.. Jake Godzak came out again the same day I called. I got a reasonable estimate the next day. Jake was very informative. The work hasnt been completed yet but it will start on Monday. Great service so far.....After the work was completed, the job was well done, the area cleaned well. Jake continued to give good courteous service and explain things as he went along. A job well done!!!

We had a leak in our laundry room from a copper t inside of a wall. I called Hawthorne to fix it, as well as do a number of other items I had been saving up for the appropriate moment, including a new water shutoff to our home. The were all fixed well, in a very timely fashion, by Jake, a very personable and professional man. I was delighted with everything about Hawthorne, so much so that I signed up for the yearly plumbing heating and cooling contract!

A service technician (Shane) from Hawthorne PHC came out to the house at my request for a general inspection of my situation since I fired my previous company. Im not certain I can say thank you enough in a review, but Ill try. Shane inspected our A/C units, furnaces, and plumbing and then we sat and talked about his findings. Our prior company did the same a week earlier and said we needed some $10,000 in upgrades to our systems which are only 3 years old! Shane was more honest. Were in fine shape and our relatively new equipment is good just the way it is. The information Shane shared was eye-opening. I learned more about HVAC and my own system in an hour than I learned from my previous company in 3 years. I signed up for semi-annual maintenance visits and was told that since I am retired military, they would be free! Thats right. Hawthorne has a Heroes Program for military and first responders. But thats not even the best part of our visit. The best part is the knowledge and forthrightness displayed by Shane. He was here for some time and the service call was part of their Heroes Program. I am impressed. A week ago I was faced with a bill for $10,000 and today I am worry free now that I have Hawthorne on my side. I cant say thank you enough.

Through Hawthorne we have had tremendous service with the replacement of our furnace and A/C units. The work done with speed and efficiency. Most recently Ivan installed the Halo water conditioning system into our home, replacing the seized garbage disposal unit and the kitchen faucet at the same time and all with a speed and efficiency that astonished us. I highly recommend Hawthorne Plumbing & Heating to anyone in need of honest and quality workmanship.

A few of the other reviews mentioned high costs however, I find it imperative to mention this regarding their cost. The quality of work completely outweighs the cost of services.We used Hawthorne Plumbing to repair 3 toilets in stalls plus two urinals and clear the drain going outside of the building. Yes, I had to pay more than I had paid my previous plumber but not really. Our last plumber before Hawthorne was out every 3 weeks for 90 days trying to repair the exact same issue Hawthorne did in one visit. I will be relying on Hawthorne plumbing in the future over the locally advertised plumber that everyone in Las Vegas knows.

My husband and I had been struggling with locating a leak that was said to be happening on our property, multiple companies including Hawthorne Plumbing stated that the leak was entirely to small to be located. Although, no one was able to located the leak, Hawthornes technician was willing to walk us through the various reasons for this, solutions to the problem and an overall understanding of the entire process that would take place. Additionally, the technician showed genuine concern for our predicament and gave his honest opinion while providing an estimate that was financially doable. They were quick and showed genuine concern.

I called Hawthorne, they sent their tech out , a super knowledgeable guy, found my breaker tripped it would run and trip he said could be a bad breaker , he gave me a few options. I followed through. Thought I would change the breaker for a new one. It looked a little over heated , went to home depot bought a new breaker , installed it. Its been running good ever since . I do want to change the AC unit but I will wait till it cools down in vegas. I will certainly call Hawthorne. Now I want my money back fromAmerican Home Sheild what a waste of money stay away from them

Last year, we had our electric water heater fail.It was covered under warranty and a new unit was installed by Hawthorne.Part of their service was a promise to drain and service the unit a year after installation. When I mentioned that I have two water heaters, Felipe agreed to work on both units for no charge.He also showed me how to drain the units in the future.I appreciated his willingness to teach me. Jacob’s work was outstanding given he installed a premium water filtration package, an upstairs toilet, and max-flow filtration all in a day including a pop up assembly. He pointed out the existing assembly had cracks with corrosion and calcification. It was obvious. He accommodated my request to replace. He took the liberty to acquire the assembly including a drinking spout that match my faucet and soap dispenser. I was astounded how he notices the details! This is rare! This what I like about Hawthorne Plumbing, Heating & Cooling. The small details that make an enormous difference! A million “thank you’s” and to you Boss Angel as well. It all stems from the top and trickles down...you have a superior team of employees like Jacob and Shane! I commend you!!!

I now am with Hawthorne about 14-15 years! I guess that shows that I am completely and totally satisfied with my Hawthorne crew as HVAC specialists. I have had no other company perform work in my home other than Hawthorne. Not only is the staff of technicians above EXCELLENT, but there is also the cleanliness, uniform wearing licensed and insured work people, but also they know me and my needs. I just had Thomas do my annual A/C tune off - btw - I purchased the three condensers from them a few years ago, but they are so respectful and competent Id rate them as the best in LV Valley and surrounding areas! I also met briefly the day before with Nick, a newcomer to the team as of almost a year ago, who came to remove an old HALO - water treatment - system. He is a fine, personable and great addition! Thank you, Heather, who is always there for me and of course, Angel, who is the boss man of this incredible team of pro HVAC people. When you need only the BEST - you should always contact HAWTHORNE - even if you have a home warranty plan - in the end, youll be happier with the service, installation of necessary improvements/repairs/upkeep, of this firm! Many air-conditioning companies will come out and tell you the cost of replacing a pump or motor etc.What they wont do is check to see if the pump or motor etc. in question is still under the manufacturers warranty, take the bad part back to the local representative and pick up the new part, come back to your home and install the new part and thereby save you a ton of money.Hawthorne plumbing heating and cooling is the only company I have dealt with that will do this and it has saved me big time. You paid for the warranty in purchasing your air conditioner etc. what you may not realize is that 5 or 6 years later many of the parts are still under warranty and should be checked before you pay full retail for a new part.This is the 2nd time Hawthorne heating and cooling has done this for me and I deeply appreciate it, and you will too if you will call them next time you have a problem!
