If you have foundation issues, this is the company to call! Excellent above and beyond work by Edwin and Rudis! They fixed our foundation from inside the garage, and I was amazed at the level of attention to detail. Who knew someone could cut perfect rectangles into concrete?! They also raised the house to the optimal position by constantly coming inside and putting a level to the floor. Now all of our stuck doors are unstuck. We are very pleased. Excellent, professional work, great cleanup and on top of that, Peggy in the office makes you feel like you’re visiting with your best friend. A+ experience! -

We were required to tear out our entire finished basement to mitigate and repair multiple leaking cracks in our foundation. We had Olson do the foundation and drainage work including:- injecting and sealing all cracks- installing drain tiles under the foundation- installing FRP sheeting- install a new sump pit and sump pumpThey did excellent work. They finished the job quicker than expected. Their crews were professional and friendly, and took extra steps to minimize any mess in our house. They also took extra steps in their process to make the refinishing work for me easier once they were finished.They were able to complete their work without me tearing out all of my framing (which was going to be required by other foundation companies that we had bid the work). And on top of this, they were less expensive than the other companies we had bid the work.I highly recommend Olson, and wouldnt let family or friends use anybody else. -

My elderly in-laws were experiencing significant foundation problems resulting from the ground pushing their walls in and causing numerous horizontal and vertical cracking. They contacted the large/advertised foundation companies only to be given pricing that was astonishing high. Fearing that they were being taken advantage of, I reached out to a good friend of mine with 20+ years of Realtor experience in the city. He referred me to a structural engineer for an independent review, report and recommendation to fix the problems. Secondly, he referred me to 3 foundation repair companies that he had experience with for estimates. After receiving the estimates, we chose Olson Foundation Repair. They were not the lowest cost provider. In fact, of the 3 estimates they were higher. What set them apart was the interaction we had with John Murphy and Peggy. They were very thorough and professional. John had taken the time to listen to our questions and concerns, he read through the engineering report and gave us recommendations based on his experience. Once he submitted to us his estimate, we worked with John on some modifications without impacting quality to be more competitive with the other bids we received and he did just that, he worked with us. Once, we settled on the scope of work and estimate, John & Peggy helped get us scheduled. There was no nickel & diming or upcharging once on site. The team showed up on the date agreed and worked 3 1/2 days to finish the job, putting in a 1/2 day more than estimated in the agreement as well as a recommended additional plate/deadman without charging us additional money to make sure the job was done right! The team doing the work was very professional and the onsite foreman was very good with fielding many of my father -in- laws questions along the way. They were respectful of their home and items and left it in good order. Of course, time will tell as to the workmanship & warranty, but all in all, we highly recommend Olson Foundation based on our experience and will continue to use them in the future for any foundational issues. I received a bid in December and scheduled my service for March 14-16. The crew showed up at the exact time I was told and immediately got to work. All of the employees were very courteous and kept me updated on their progress after each day. The job was estimated to be completed in 3 days, which it was. I was given suggestions on how to get my sump pump working more efficiently as all of my drainage was now going to the sump pump basin. The guys did a great job cleaning up my basement and even spread the small amount of gravel left over evenly in my (unpaved) driveway! Not only did they do a wonderful job waterproofing my basement but they were almost $2000 less than another company for the same work needed. It is so nice to go downstairs after a hard rain and have a completely dry basement! -

Luke Olson himself came out and gave us a quote. We had 4 reputable companies come and Luke was the most knowledgeable, timely and reasonable. Foundation repairs are always inundating and frankly terrifying. He simply explained our options and best solutions. He pointed out simpler, less costly options to fix problems others did not even mention for much less. His company came out, worked hard, were professional and great with communication. Peggy in the office is phenomenal at keeping things well in order!He came highly recommended from our realtor (who everyone in her office uses too) thank you Joanna! We pass on this high recommendation and greatly appreciate him fixing our home correctly and giving us peace of mind for thousands less than the big national companies that just wanted to slap an extensive and expensive band aid on a problem that would not have solved our issue. We received good advice on measures we could take on our own to alleviate water problems in basement. We saw some difference but not during signicant rainfall so decided to have Olson Foundation Repair install french drains, sump pump and secure a wall. They were timely in scheduling the work and provided us updates each evening on how the work was progressing, planned work for the next day, and notice of when they would return in the morning. This allowed us to plan our day and we were appreciative of their cleaning efforts each day and respectfulness/ professionalism provided throughout project. Fair pricing and highly recommend! -

Olson is a great business to work with! We just purchased a new home and the basement/garage kept leaking with every rain. We were so worried any repairs would be out of our budget, but Olson was very reasonable. The guys finished the work over 3 days and it looks great. While in the bidding process for getting work done on my foundation, my first company severely overbid the amount of work needed to be done, making the situation sound way worse than the reality warranted. I was fearful that the repairs would be way over budget. When I got my estimate from Olson, they were honest and calmed my worries about what my house really needed to be fixed, and did not try to sell me extra that I didnt need. I am hugely appreciative of that. Their quote was literally a third of the other companys.They got the job done in a few days, and the whole process was very straightforward. Their work came with transferrable warranties that go way into the future, so I am comforted knowing that these issues will not be anyones burden again. Time will tell how adequate the fixes are but this is a reputable company so Im not worried.They also were insanely price competitive. They price matched anybody who would do the same job for lower as well as giving me a bargain for the epoxy I needed for the cracks. Even when they were already the cheapest overall, they price matched elements of the job that other companies would have done cheaper.Thanks Olson! -

When Luke came to give me the estimate he not only looked at the basement but he also went to every corner of the house on the inside in addition and examined any irregularities in each corner. The beam installation went smoothly and even though there was a glitch on the grading, the way it was handled was so professional and my satisfaction was truly guaranteed, which is very rare! Hired this company to pier an inside foundation wall, and pier the outside foundation of a screened in porch. They were reasonable to work with, timely, clean and and respectful. All this for a very reasonable price. Extra charged were probably justified but the company stuck with the original estimate. -

I had Olson Foundation place 5 anchors in my finished basement wall. Their work was exceptional. Their crew kept the mess to a minimum both inside and outside. After they were done, besides the cuts in the sheetrock, you could not tell they had been there. The 5 holes in the yard were perfect rectangles and they carried off the excess dirt. I simply reseeded and was done with the yard. I was impressed with their company from the bid through completion. Communication was great and their crew was top notch. I had a garage wall that was leaning outward and posing a risk of collapse. Had Mr. Olson himself come out to give me a quote. Got the lowest bid among a couple other companies. Scheduling the job was a breeze. They called me in advance to let me know when a reschedule had to be made. Once the folks showed up they knew exactly what needed to be done. They were quick and efficient, even though it seemed like some of digging would have been easier with a bulldozer rather than a shovel. At the end of each day they would explain to me what they had done and what they were going to do the next day. The wall was brought back to plumb and the garage roof was secured. Truly 5 star experience, I cannot recommend these guys enough. -

I had my basement ledge block walls rebuilt as they were falling inward. This was no small project. The walls had to be completely torn down and rebuilt. It was a major home project.
