    We just used American Electrical to upgrade our electricity in our home. They did a great job! Kyle and Aidan were very professional, timely, and friendly. They even saved a shrub in front of our house to conceal the new electric box. I would recommend them to anyone.

    American Electric installed our Generic whole house generator.They were knowledgeable about the product and help us determine the size we needed. Also helped us work with the propane company for getting the correct tank.The installation was completed in a day, And took the time needed to walk through operation of the unit.The generator ran for over 24 hours during hurricane Helene without issues.

    We strongly recommend this company. There was a lightening storm a few week ago that knocked out a portion of our power. The next morning we called these guys and they fit us into their packed schedule. The team that arrived a few hours later was efficient, educational, and thorough. They even reviewed our attic for loose wiring. These guys were professional and fixed our issues in about an hour.

    Travis and Zeric were wonderful. Not only were they incredibly polite and personable, but they took care of our electrical issue that we had been trying to get fixed for months that property management techs couldnt do. They were very knowledgable and thorough in their investigation. Plus, they left our home leaving the area with the electrical issue looking better than when they came in. The care and attention to detail was so appreciated. They also respected and upheld my request to wear shoe coverings in the house the entire time despite having to go back and forth between their truck and our house. I definitely recommend this company and Travis and Zeric specifically!

    I was referred by a relative and the service from Appointment to Install was prompt and professional. Everyone from dispatch to electrician was friendly and the results of the installation of lighting fixtures looks amazing. The chandelier was a difficult install but it was handled with no problem whatsoever. The kitchen is a great improvement from the previous 4 basic ballast that originally came with the home. Thanks to all at American Electric. I will be calling again for any electrical needs for my home.

    They did a great job installing a new 12V pool light, and transformer.I had a hard time finding a company to install this light. Most electric companies in the area didnt know how to perform this type of service. The electricians that they sent had experience doing this type of installation, and were patient to explain how the entire setup would work.

    I contacted American Electric of Jacksonville to hang crystal chandeliers in 2-Story areas of our new home. Not only did they get it done with amazing quality, there was a considerable amount of troubleshooting which they took in stride. They spent the time to get everything perfect which required hanging these heavy, massive chandeliers, and then placing hundreds of individual crystals. They treated the installation as if they were doing it in their house.They were also incredibly easy to work with and really well priced. I cant recommend them enough. This company will be my go to for years to come.

    We started with requesting service via online. American Electric left us a voicemail within 24 hours; we replied after hours and their answering service promptly took a message, after which we scheduled for service. We were surprised to get an appointment at 0730. Wesley and Michich (apologize if misspelled) arrived early and waited until 0730 to knock on door. Both were courteous and professional. They reviewed the work to be done and got to it. Once complete, they asked if I wanted them to take any of the boxes or old fixtures, and swept up. Great job, thank you. (Suggestion: recommend showing the client fixtures are operational - although in my case I got to it before they probably would have.)

    I had a great experience with American Electric. The electrision, Wesley, explained to me everything he was going to be doing in my home upfront.. He gave me a time frame for when he would be done and did not leave any mess from pulling the wires and cutting in my outlets. I highly recommend this company. It was such an easy and great experience from setting up the appointment to having the work completed to paying for the service. The best electrical business i have ever used....and so friendly too! I highly recommend them. Rarely do i find such quality service!

    We have lived in our house for nearly ten years. The previous owners were a bit of DIYers that didnt really DIY very well... I finally pulled the trigger and had American Electric come out to do some updates that were long overdue. Wesley and Michiah arrived right on time, and were friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable. They were able to put in 6 new wafer lights for me in my living room and kitchen, and corrected a couple of bad splices that they identified which were not part of the original job. Ill rest easier tonight knowing that we have the wiring done correctly, and I cant believe I waited this long to give them a call. I have a few more projects on the list and Ill be calling American Electric to do those for me as well. Thank you again Wesley and Michiah, you both did an excellent job.

    I was looking for an electrician to put a outlet in my wall for a television I am going to hang on wall. I didnt want the power cable to show because my existing outlet was near the baseboard of the wall. I called American Electric and from the moment they I made contact with them they were extremely courteous and professional. When the technicians came to my home they were once again extremely courteous, professional, knowledgeable and HONEST. They were diligent workers practiced social distancing, got a clear understanding of what I needed done, explained in detail how they could do what I needed and then in 20 minutes had completed the job perfectly. Then to top it all off, they were reasonably priced. I had called a few other companys and they were literally quoting me DOUBLE for the work that I needed done. So needless to say I am so grateful I kept searching until I found American Electric. I would recommend this company to ANYONE who needs electrical work done at there home, they were truly a blessing to me and I will DEFINITELY hire them again to do any electrical work that I need done in the future.

    I would recommend contacting American Electric for all of your electric wants, needs or projects. Wesley was my electrician who arrived on time and installed two ceiling fans within an hour. He provided excellent customer service explaining how the ceiling fans would operate with the light switches and remote controls; he offered feedback and estimates on how long it would take to install side lights outside of our garage and was just an overall polite individual. American Electric was the only company that I contacted requesting to have ceiling fans installed and I am glad that I chose to select them as my electrical company as I will be contacting them for more projects in the future. Highly recommend American Electric!!!

    The Tech came out within 30 minutes from the time I called them. All other companies said there was a 2 to 4 week delay even when I told them that my fridge wasnt working.     After ordering Legrand Adorne Wifi outlets/switches from Lowes, I called American Electric to install them. I bought just about every type of switch they had - lighted, dimmer, pop out you name it and Billy had no issues installing all of them. They were so friendly and helpful (when I wanted to add more) and worked with me when I went to get more parts. I was very excited when my back order finally arrived after 3 months of waiting (I guess these things are really popular) and the office had no problem scheduling my visit. They called to say they were on their way, they were prompt and courteous, cleaned up the mess (they installed stuff all over the house). I feel like I made friends with both the office and the installers. Of course my outlets look amazing and I love that I can program them to turn on (or off) automatically or with Amazon Alexa. What a great experience - more than I could have hoped for.

    Matt was a great guy to work with and did a great job wiring our house. We had so many questions and he was there every step of the way. From start to finish, Matt and his team kept the worksite clean and made sure we got exactly what we wanted.     Unbelievable story, and I’m blown away so I wanted to share. At home this morning waiting on service. Electrician was late so thought I’d call to double check. They were responding to an emergency at another site, but unfortunately had lost my number and couldn’t get a hold of me. I was shocked at first, realizing that they weren’t even going to call me! I’m deploying in a few days, so when asked if I could reschedule, I didn’t see a great time for me to be here and get this done for my family. Disappointed as I was, I intended to look for service elsewhere until they called me back and said they felt so awful that they wanted to provide me the service for free! Again I was shocked, but this time by their extreme generosity, humbleness, and support for the military. Needless to say, they deserve more than 5 stars. Thank you!

    Ethan And Richard came to do initial startup on my new Generac whole house generator. But before that could happen the secondary electrical panel had to be moved to the main panel. There were two separate panels on different lines and the generator was only connected to the main panel. So to get those circuits to be operable when the generator was on, they had to be moved to the main panel. So there were 9 circuits that had to be moved to provide GFI, lights and electrical outlets throughout the house. Ethan provided excellent service explaining what he was doing and how it was going to work, while Richard set up the generator for its initial run. Everything went smoothly and in a few hours all the circuits were operable. With a full load of every thing on in the house, except the heating circuits, we were operating at 50% of capacity. They set up the mobile link so that I could monitor the generator from my smart phone and get notices of needed maintenance or any other problems with the generator. Excellent service and all done within budget.

    Air conditioning stopped working. Called my HVAC service and they promptly came out at 6PM. They found it was an electrical problem caused by a PMD inserted by the whole house generator company, American Electric. Called them and had to leave a voice mail. Called the next morning and told they were fully booked and could come the next day. I made that appointment and appealed to them for a time today. They said they would try and they did come around 2PM. They put in a new PMD (this had been replaced 10 months ago so it was covered by warrantee) and fixed another component. I appreciated their prompt response. Jesse and ? did the work. Jesse had replaced the PMD before. Would have been nice to have a night service like the HVAC company.

    Travis and Josh are my heroes!! After addressing an ‘issue’ with a hot tub installation, they swapped out a light fixture…Josh noticed the ceiling lights in the garage weren’t LEDs and he and Travis extracted the Fluorescent bulbs and did their magic.
