My only complaint was with dispatch who promised between 9 and 11 and I had to call to which the lady couldnt find my appointment because the dispatch lady last night obviously messes up. 4 stars should suffice. Steve P gets 5 stars. Dispatch gets 4. Sorry.

One of our rental properties had an issue with a backflow toilet and belled pipe which was expertly diagnosed by the initial team and field supervisor Joshua Laws. As the repair began the crew encountered a hidden barrier under the home and Joshua explained the situation to us before work was able to be resumed. Joshua took additional time, care and effort to find a solution which saved us a tremendous amount in the total cost of the repair. Based on this excellent experience alone, we have decided to use Roto-Rooter as our primary plumber for all 4 additional rental properties we own in the Houston area. Honestly if I could give more stars for this overall experience I would, but I can guarantee if you are fortunate enough to work with Joshua and his team you will not be disappointed!

Jesse was able to come out in short notice on the weekend and prevent costly water damage repairs. He was extremely professional and protected my home interior during the repairs. Hideajet came out and cleared the blockage of our main drain line very quickly. Josh Laws followed up with running a camera and giving me the full diagnoses of the problem (tree roots). He offered me a few options of fixing the issue from DIY to repairing the main line. Throughout the process, I never felt pressured and they were very thorough in explaining the process and the steps to take, and they were both very helpful in resolving my problem. I would absolutely recommend these two on any drain line issues, and they were both very professional with their work.

Had an overnight emergency where the shower valve wouldn’t shut off. Chase Hawk and crew were assigned. The first thing I noticed was how respectful they were of our home; asked if they needed to put on shoe covers. Upon examining, Chase was knowledgeable about the possible issues and was upfront about expectations and costs. They fixed it in a timely manner and even cleaned up the old caulk and asked for a broom to sweep the work area. They’re pricey but if you need it done quickly, it’s worth the convenience and peace of mind.

We have visitors who are not used to septic systems and the use of not so much toilet paper when using the bathroom. Toilet got clogged and Jesse came out to help us. He has helped us in the past and remembered us. He was quick to diagnose and clear the clog. I like Roto Rooter because they have a 6 month warranty for the same issue. If they come back for the same issue it is covered and we won’t have to pay. I appreciate that and gladly pay a little more because of their excellent customer service, quick and efficient fixing of our problem and great warranty! It all seemed to start when we heard our toilets making gurgling noises. Odd! Tried plunging them but it kept going. Hmm maybe some work is happening in the neighborhood? Welp it was time to get showered and ready for bed. Oh no, the shower isn’t draining. Now the toilets aren’t flushing / going down. Plunging and plunging and plunging but no improvement.Went in backyard and opened mainline pipe and out gushed toilet paper and related refuse. 😱 Yikes!After the gushing became a trickle, the shower / tub does drain. Toilets are still finicky. And mainline pipe is still full / overflowing.Got out my plumbing snake I purchased on Amazon but it didn’t make a dent (FYI tech said - don’t do that as it can cause damage). What if it all starts backing up into the house? Better get someone here fast!Was able to schedule Roto Rooter online to arrive early the next morning! Just have to keep the water usage minimal till then…Got a text the tech was headed my way the next morning. They arrived at 8:40am and quickly cleared the blockage. Another came over later with a camera to determine if there are pipe issues needing fixed. They were all helpful and courteous, especially considering the foul situation. Grateful the whole event lasted less than 24 hours!
