Wow, I just cant express enough how fantastic Donovan and Jacob were. Being a single woman, I was dealing with 2 leaking water shut-off valves upstairs in my Houston home! This situation forced me to shut off the water from the main line, leaving me without water for two whole days. A large company had previously quoted me almost $700 to replace them, a cost I simply couldnt afford. Furthermore, I was aware that the task of changing these valves isnt that complex to justify such a high charge. When I reached out to Donovan, he kindly spent time over the phone explaining to me alternative solutions. Despite being an hour away, he reassured me that a technician would be at my place by 8 pm that same evening. True to his word, Jacob arrived that evening and replaced not just the 2, but 3 shut-off valves! Their charge was less than the previous companys quote, and they didnt even charge for the third valve! I have nothing but admiration for this company and Donovan, who runs an honest and reliable business. Its a rarity in todays world. We had a fantastic encounter with Luca & Sons Plumbing Services! When we recently bought our house, we were advised to inspect the iron pipe in our basement. We found out that a tree in our yard had invaded the vintage system from 1949 and created a blockage near the city sewer. We were quite worried that the repairs would be significant and would require digging up the yard and a retaining wall. Luckily, we were recommended to this company that utilizes a state-of-the-art trenchless lining system, costing much less than traditional methods. From the start, they clearly knew their stuff and were very fair compared to the competition. Some of the other companies wanted to charge up to $800 just for an inspection. On the other hand, Donovan and Jacob were so well-informed and quick to respond, answering all my queries. When they were on the job, they were very meticulous and professional. We now have a system that will surely last for at least 50 years. If you need your drain pipe replaced, just call this company, youll be pleased you did.

Before calling Jacob, we had another plumber from our home warranty service who unfortunately made things worse, causing additional damage. Thankfully, Jacob was able to rectify everything. Jacob arrived on the same day, demonstrated thoroughness in his work, and completed the repairs swiftly without compromising on the quality. His pricing was quite reasonable too. Since then, weve had Jacob replace all our toilets and the old water heater. In addition to his exceptional work, Jacob is also genuinely friendly. I cant recommend Jacob and his plumbing services enough.

Right before an intense winter freeze hit, my wedding rings accidentally fell into the toilet. We couldnt call in any help due to the harsh weather conditions and even tried removing the toilet ourselves to locate the rings, but to no avail. I reached out to several plumbing services, but none offered any promising solutions. Then I contacted a certain plumbing company, where they asked more detailed questions about the problem. Upon learning that the toilet was located upstairs, they suggested it might be possible to retrieve the rings, although they couldnt guarantee success. Regardless, I was grateful they were willing to give it a shot. Due to the winter freeze, many people were dealing with burst pipes and the plumbers were extremely busy. I had to patiently wait my turn. Finally, a plumber named Jacob arrived at my house. Using a camera snake, he managed to locate both of my rings. It required a fair bit of effort to maneuver the rings to a place where he could retrieve them, but Jacob was patient and determined. Contrary to what other plumbers had told me, Jacob proved that it wasnt too late to retrieve the rings. I am deeply appreciative of his efforts and his determination. Bless you, Jacob!

Jacob arrived to assess the damage to my water heater, which was referred through my home warranty service. he outlined the potential costs if the warranty didnt cover everything, and i informed him that i just needed a tank replacement. lol, three days later, they called to schedule the repair (they were quick to get the approval done). once jacob and donovan arrived, they carried out the work efficiently and professionally. my home warranty covered the costs of my heater and pump, which i didnt have. despite my initial concerns about working with this plumbing service due to certain reviews, every situation is indeed unique. i would suggest always contacting your warranty company before scheduling any work to avoid misunderstandings or confusion about payments and what isnt covered!

Luca & Sons Plumbing Services is definitely the place to call. Their rates are quite affordable and the professionalism, timeliness, and vigor they bring to the job are well worth the cost. We reached out for a water heater installation quite late in the evening. Donovan called us back early in the morning, reviewed the photos of our problem, and managed to be at our doorstep before noon. He even had all the necessary equipment with him. He gave us a call 20 minutes before arriving to give us a heads-up. Simply put, Donovan will now be our first call for all our plumbing requirements.

To my astonishment, Jacob was on the phone first thing in the morning and Donovan was at our doorstep promptly at 8:15 am to rectify the situation! Jacob is a delight to work with and Donovan was superb. They swiftly resolved the water heater issue and also managed to install a kitchen sink faucet that my husband had been struggling with. Weve been loyal customers to this plumbing service for over a decade and a half and have never been disappointed. Over the years, theyve repaired and replaced everything from our garbage disposal, sump pump, exterior faucet, to the outdoor shutoff for sprinklers. They are always punctual, fairly priced, and they always get the job done correctly. I cant recommend them enough!

Ive called on jacob three times now, first to repair a toilet another plumber messed up, then for a leak in our kitchen sink, and finally to fix our bathroom pedestal sink that came loose from the wall due to weight and started leaking. jacob arrived promptly and spent no more than 10 minutes inspecting the sink in the bathroom, asking if we wanted to replace it or reuse the same one. he explained he wouldnt be responsible if the sink came off the wall again due to it being old and not having any support brackets. we confessed it was our mistake the sink came loose and it had been in place for over 25 years, so we were willing to take the risk. jacob said hed have to return the next day to complete the work, which we were fine with. the only hiccup was jacob didnt mention during that initial visit that it came with a $59 service charge. this was added to our bill the following day without any written breakdown of costs. we had to reach out to him for a detailed list and price of what was done. there were also no discounts for seniors or military personnel. however, i cant fault the quality of his work. over the three times hes been here, the work has been top-notch. a more detailed billing or price explanation would have been appreciated, as jacob is certainly a man of few words. all in all, our plumbing issues in houston have been well taken care of by him.

Im penning this review on behalf of a customer who needed plumbing services from luca & sons plumbing services after using my carpet cleaning services. she had two sinks ready for installation and was previously quoted a hefty $800 by another plumber. no special modifications were required, just a simple installation. however, she sought the services of luca & sons plumbing services and received a significantly less expensive quote. not only was their pricing much more reasonable, but they also did an excellent job. the customer was extremely pleased with the outcome. on a personal note, i know jacob and donovan to be good folks and i would recommend them for your plumbing needs in houston. they offer great value for money and are sure to leave you happy with their work.

Donovan was a real lifesaver! when a pipe in my houston backyard burst and started spraying water everywhere, i reached out for help. donovan was the one who answered my call. at first, he wasnt sure if he could come out immediately and started guiding me over the phone to find the shutoff valve. unfortunately, we couldnt find the right one for the damaged pipe. despite this, donovan kindly showed up in less than an hour and repaired the broken pipe at an excellent price. this was undoubtedly one of the best experiences ive had when dealing with an emergency plumbing situation. big thanks to donovan!
