Best place to go for keys. My 1997 Mazda Miata’s key snapped in half and I had to replace it. I went to Ace Hardware and even City Mill multiple times and they couldn’t do anything. They tried and I had about 6 keys made and none of them worked. I finally came here and gave them the two pieces of the key and they made a working copy like it was nothing. Once it was made I went outside and tried it and it felt a little rough but the ignition, doors, and trunk worked so I went back in and told them and they shaved it down a little bit more in certain areas and boom. PERFECT KEY. They then asked me how many copies I wanted made of the perfect one and I bought 3. I recommend you go here first instead of trying to make copies at any other place.

Salz gets my key duplicates on my first try. Always! I’ve previously gone to big box store and they are hit or miss. I only go to Salz and they are reasonable and fair prices. They’re the best for key duplicates.

Exceptional service done by a master locksmith. After driving around town to other locksmith businesses that were incapable or who had moved and not changed their location on Google maps, someone suggested i try Salz. I brought in a lock with no key. They were able to make a key and cut a duplicate in a matter of minutes at an extremely reasonable price. They saved me a massive amount of time and money as I no longer had to change 4 locks. Thank you for the great service. I highly recommend!

Really helpful and friendly service and good prices. I was referred here from another store that didnt have the key blank I needed, and Salz indeed had the right one. Highly recommend.I went back in recently and they were perfect again. The place gets busy (theyre the best around) but they say hi and that theyll be right with you, and then finish helping the customer theyre already with. Mistakes can happen but I was quite miffed when I had to do a second RT to the store paying Uber twice because the first key was made improperly and didnt even enter the lock at my condo. Im a professional property manager. I have been burned in the past by having keys cut at the big box stores and local hardware stores. There is nothing more frustrating than to find that the duplicate key you just spent an hour having made was not cut correctly and doesnt work. In all my years of getting keys cut at Salz I have never had one key not work. I will drive out of my way to go to Salz for this reason. They are also very fast and professional. Highly recommend.

Service at Salz Lock & Safe was quick. There were 3 customers before me, but were done in a few minutes. My keys were made quickly and I was out of there in maybe 10 - 15 minutes with keys in hand. And the keys worked perfectly! The usual places for making keys like Home Depot, Lowes, City Mill and Ace Hardware did not have matching key blanks. Thank you Salz Lock & Safe!

Hands down....I wanna say they are absolutely the fkn best customer service and I stopped by at closing time which was 430ish and they welcomed me like I was family style. After going to the big box stores to try to rekey my new home, I learned that the door locks are atypical, thus I needed to work with a locksmith. I called a few mobile locksmiths who said they would need to order the key blanks which would take a while or replace the lock at a higher price than a simple rekey. One mobile-only locksmith was kind enough to refer me to a storefront locksmith, Salz. I called to explain the situation and one of their technicians, Ellen, completely nailed it. She was very nice, knowledgeable, responsive and accountable for solving my issue. She explained exactly what the situation was that I had with my locks and assured me she’d get it fixed asap. I saved a good deal of money and time bringing my locks to Salz to get rekeyed. The mobile locksmiths are great for emergencies and “typical” situations, but if you have an unusual lock or if you need to get a storefront resource, you better call Salz.

If you ever tried to get a key cut from City Mill, Lowes and Home Improvement and they said they could not cut the key go to Salz because they cut keys the old fashioned way. This is because their fancy key cutter does not have the template.They recalibrate their key cutting machine every few days which is unheard of.Need an extra key cut for your steering wheel lock they can do it.
