On 11/21/24 McAllisters staff came out for a furnace tune up and Chris did a great job. When it was time to pay I was told it would be electronically sent to my email. There was a rebate from National Fuel which asked questions and a paper receipt was necessary. I called to ask for one and was told, they usually charge extra for a paper receipt, however they would send me one. If you are giving a rebate form then provide a paper receipt!Considering consumers are charged for every minute of service! Also, not all seniors use email.

McAllister just recently installed all new heating and cooling systems in our home and rental property. From the first interaction with the sales rep to the men that did the installation everyone was professional, kind and very easy to work with. We have had many updates and things done to our home recently and I never felt more comfortable with a company and having strangers in my home. My husband can also be very particular about others doing work in our home and he had zero complaints! Looking forward to working with them in the future!

We called about our heat going out, they sent a tech out within a half hour. Unfortunately for us the we needed a whole new furnace. They were able to have a team out the next day to install the system! The techs were all very polite and efficient! They offer many payment options which was nice seeing as this was an emergency and we didnt quite have the money on hand. Highly recommend using this company!

I woke up with no heat and called McAllister and they answered in one ring! The receptionist was very friendly and had someone out within a half hour! The technician, Chris, was super helpful, friendly and kind. He was able to get the part I needed within a few hours and came back and fixed our issue the same day. I even got a follow up call a few days later to check in. I was impressed and would recommend them for promptness, a fair price, and good work.

My hot water heater exhaust chimney was blocked, gas company showed me the carbon monoxide reading and shut it down. The guys from McAllister showed up promptly, figured out the problem without much fuss, fixed that hot water heater AND another hot water heater that had been shut down long ago, probably for the same reason. I have a few more projects I’ll be hiring them to do.

We have used McAllister for both large and small projects for the past year and we have been extremely satisfied with their work. They have replaced both our water heaters, installed a new AC unit and some smaller plumbing issues. They are very friendly to work with, always manage to schedule us promptly and do excellent work. I also think they do not try to up sell us at all and genuinely try to help us make the right choice for our house. Nothing but GREAT things to say!

Absolutely amazing place highly highly recommend they wont rip you off!! Our hot water tank went so we got a quote from Reimer for a busted hot water tank nothing fancy they quoted me out at 5k then tried to gaslight me that it was a good price. Absolutely not. I Called mccallister they came looked at the same thing, and charged me 1400 all in for the part and service. Their handy man was quick efficient, super nice, and didnt try to rip us off. We will be customers for life ! They also came back out when our furnace valve broke and gave the same impeccable service. Cannot recommend them enough !!

Simply the best! We have used McAillister since we moved to Lakeview six years ago and they have always been professional, responsive and accommodating. Quality costs, but you get what you pay for. And its worth it to us when at 8pm on a Friday night a professional with come out and do their best to get our furnace up and running.When our 23 year old furnace was not worth repairing they had a team hear the next day on a Saturday morning to install the new furnace so family who had come from out of town could have heat. Ryan as well as the owner dealt with us to make sure our needs were met. Thank you McAillister Team!

On October 12, 2022 I was away from my home from 8:00 am until 10:00 pm. When I got home I heard water running. The pipe under my sink burst and flooded my bathroom, hallway and basement. I called McAllister as I know they have an emergency number. A very nice gentleman was at my home within the hour. He fixed the pipe and cleaned up all the water. He was at my home until after 2:00 am cleaning up water. I was so grateful to that man He was very professional and did a great job. Thank you so much!!!

We had McAllisters come out to replace the furnace and humidifier. I called for a quote, spoke to Ryan about my options and what he suggested, and was scheduled so fast I couldnt even believe it! WOW is all I can say...the guys were professional and personable. The work area is MUCH cleaner than what they walked into (sorry guys) and they took the time to walk us through all the ins and outs of what they did and what to expect. They were extremely responsive in my time of need. The sewer was completely plugged and they were able to find a technician to come out the same day! The technician was professional, personable, and worked very, very hard to solve th problem. The extent of the issue was beyond what he could solve alone, but it was not for lack of effort. Additional help was called and the issue has since been resolved. The tech took great care in making sure he did not mess up our new floors. From the first call to the end result, McAllister was top notch! I would highly recommend them for plumbing work.

Thank you again McAllister Plumbing! My stationary tub in basement backed up and left water all over basement floor. I called McAllister Plumbing right away and Andy came out the same day; actually within a few hours. Beverly called me to let me know when he was on the way and the approximate time he would arrive. Always on time! Andy quickly diagnosed the problem and solved my issues. He was very polite and informative and had excellent recommendations for me. Amy called me the next day to make sure I was pleased with the service and if I had any questions or concerns. McAllister Plumbing has provided great service and satisfaction time and time again. They have replaced all the old galvanized steel water lines, put in a new hot water tank, a new dryer vent, fixed shower and kitchen faucet leaks, unclogged drains and sewer line. They are my go to team when I have plumbing or heating issues and I highly recommend them. Fair prices, great customer service and very professional!

We recently had a new furnace and AC unit sold and installed by McCallister. Ryan was an incredible salesmen helping with understanding what unit was best for our home while applying no sales pressure whatsoever. We planned on getting several more estimates but I was so impressed by Ryan’s professionalism that we decided the price was extremely fair and purchased in the first meeting. The install we expected to wait a long period but were surprised that within a week they scheduled us! The installation crew showed up and were incredibly professional. We have a very old house from 1860 and once they found several dangerous hazards due to poor installs in the past they went about and beyond putting in new vents and re mortaring our chimney (none of which was in the original estimate they did free of charge) to make sure that my family and I were not in a hazardous scenario for carbon monoxide. They did all of this without saying “well this is more than we expected do you want us to fix this? If so this is what it will cost...” like I’ve experienced in the past. They did a full walk through of everything they did and why and if I could I would rate all 4 of these men well over 5 stars. To the owners of this business I can only say you should be extremely proud of this team. Thank you all for doing well more than you had to and never once trying to take advantage of my family. I have McAllister Plumbing and Heating do all my plumbing, heating and cooling work including annual maintenance of my furnace/air condition units and sump pumps, going on 5 years now, and counting. I believe its best to stay with one outfit to maintain the vital mechanical units of my house, due to continuity and their familiarity with the units. That means I trust their workmanship and professionalism, and they havent given me a reason to break this trust. I recommend them highly if youre looking for the same needs.

Just wanted to take a few minutes to say how satisfied we were with Ryan, Nick and Peter who spent two days in the cold installing our generator. They were on time each morning and worked all day at times in the dark with the winter early evenings. The work was neat and professional with only minor power interruptions. High praise to the team.Also want to give cudos to Matt who responded to our emergency call the next day to fix our furnace . He arrived before going to the office and found the problem quickly to correct the issue. I was originally questioning the fact that we were not getting call backs for some issues we had but the system worked well for our latest emergency. Keep up the great work.

Update/Maintenance on AC unit. The Sevice Tach. Check the AC unit to ensure that it was running properly. Check the compressor unit. Check the coolant level. Make sure proper temperature inside house was accurate. Clean unit on the outside of the house. Inform customer of everything he did. Matt was very nice attentive and knowledgeable about his job. Being in the residential home renovation business, I like to believe I can fix anything. Then I met my match with my Lennox G71MPP variable capacity furnace.This is a long review so feel free to jump to the summary below if you so desire...Two days before leaving for a 10 day vacation, we noticed the furnace had a hard time staying at temperature. After spending five hours on YouTube trying to diagnosis this problem, I thought I had it working. However, it was displaying a code i could not interpret. Given we were leaving in two days, I called Mcallister (first time ever) and spoke to Katie. She and TJ (the owner) called me back an hour later and told me the code was nothing to worry about and to go enjoy my vacation. They never billed for the time.Two days after returning home from vacation, the furnace again started having trouble keeping the house heated. After spending another five hours on YouTube I called Katie at Mcallister! She had Matt come out the next morning. In five minutes he noticed I had a hairline crack in the drain trap and also found I had an issue with my thermostat. He was able to temporarily get the furnace to hold heat while the parts were ordered.A week later Matt arrived to install the parts. Everything was working when he left. Two hours later I noticed the furnace was not reaching temperature. So I called McAllister to inform them.It was Friday after hours, so Chris was on duty and called me back three times that evening to find out how we were doing. He insisted on coming out to look at the furnace. Chris spent three hours with me trying to determine the issue even though we had enough heat to stay warm until Monday. (This is after he had already worked fifteen hours that day).Monday comes and Katie and TJ were on the phone with me to discuss a plan they had. At this point the issue was so darn unique that the Lennox company got involved (for a second time in three days) and provided TJ with additional areas to investigate. TJ took the time to detail what they were thinking, which I really appreciated.They sent Jeff the next morning. He again understood me, his customer, by taking the time to explain everything to me as he went along. He spent three hours investigating gas valve and pressure switch pressures. Because of his ten years Lennox experience, he found a clogged orifice the size of a pinhole in a tube one inch long. In addition, a thermostat wire installed by a previous heating company 10 years earlier was not connected properly and prevented the furnace from working like it was supposed to.In summary...The above detail I felt was necessary to demonstrate the great lengths and dedication which McAllister went with me to fix my heating problems.* McAllister respected me as a customer by allowing me to work and observe along side them*Not once did they suggest (my biggest fear) that it was a cracked heat exchanger or blower motor that many other companies try and shortcut to to sell you a new furnace.* They were professional, knowledgeable and friendly the entire time.* We finally have a variable capacity furnace that runs as it should for the first time 13 years after installation!!!*McAllister billed reasonably for the amount of time and energy they spent on us to resolve our problem.Thank you TJ, Chris, Jeff, Matt, Katie and Kathie for a job well done!

Update; had McAllister come back for a different problem- forced hot air furnace wasnt working- had other companies look at it- never worked right- called McAllister - Jeff showed up and - found the problem and made sure all potential problems were eliminated- very methodical in problem solving approach and very well trained- thanks again.have a navien system installed and was not told that it needed to be flushed periodically- may have been told just wasnt listening more likely- had another company come in that was qualified to service- very apparent NOT qualified- Navien systems are great but when they go bad- you could be inconvenienced for a while- called Mcallister as he was recommended by a friend stating they keep up to date on training. Jeff showed up and was very serious and methodical as these things arent pulling out a tank and slapping another one in. got all the parts needed- when he said hey would be there- ( the other guy didnt get all the parts and when they did arrive they didnt check the mail until the next morning- their schedule was already done for the day so you now were hopefully on the next day) - submitted warranty items - couldnt be happier- i found my HVAC and plumbing guy.
