We had Johnson out to provide a second opinion on a pricey repair to our existing Carrier heat pump system that at the end of the day, may or may not have fixed our issue. While they were slightly cheaper, we had experienced multiple issues with it since its installation so we decided to replace it instead. They had a lot of good things to say about Trane and we were ready for a change so we made the switch.Not only has the new system impressed us with its better performance and how quiet it runs, we were also very impressed by the consistent professionalism of the entire staff at Johnson. Allen was upfront about what the issue could be and was willing to go whichever route we preferred. Shawn did a top notch job meeting with us, understanding our goals and actually measuring what our house needed. Clayton, Trent and Gavin did an amazing job with the installation. The attention to detail was exactly what I was looking for in an installation team. Hopefully the same will be true of those who do maintenance. We plan on continuing to go with Johnson in the future. Thanks team!

Since I am a home owner I have been very stressed out, specially with my house been built back in the 60s, the never ending struggle was plumbing. For a while we were putting band aids and getting temporary repairs until we couldn’t anymore, and here’s where Johnson Comfort has come to our rescue. Jesse and Nick have been more than helpful with our needs, and their expertise helped us understand what was the best for our home not only immediate but in the far future too! We finally have some sense of relief thanks to them and the whole team really. From the friendly person taking the calls, to the technical team all you can expect is kindness and professionalism!

Katherine provided a friendly and concise overview of our options for service on a Sunday morning emergency situation and after making our selection it went as she said it would both on time and the contacts as to KeenanS arrival. Keenan did a thorough check of our equipment and provided a stopgap solution within an hour to hold us until we can arrange to fully resolve the issue and was exceptionally patient and thorough in going over our options.Highly recommend this team.

Ive used Johnson many times and never been disappointed. Recently I had an issue on a Saturday afternoon with my water heater and they were going to come out that day to look at it. The repair guy called me and asked for a picture and immediately knew what needed to be done and said it would be a warranty job. I was scheduled for first thing Monday morning and they came out on time and finished quickly. All the mess cleaned up and were very communicative. Ill continue to use them any time I can in the future! Thank you!

Update: Worked with Lucas during a recent furnace servicing and he did a great job, worked quickly, but also patiently answered all my questions. Seems to be great people!A representative for Johnson HVAC came out for our annual furnace service that hasnt been done in several years. I appreciated that they called to see if they could get in earlier than expected, and finished in a timely manner. Bob willingly answered all of my questions while he was here, made recommendations accordingly, and even remembered to be sure the thermostat was set back to the correct range. Will continue to use the monthly service club with them, nice to have peace of mind for my older HVAC system.

Our service tech, Bob, was great. He explained things clearly and was done quickly.I have an idea for the company’s call system in emergencies like the extreme cold we just had. Maybe have an experienced tech for phone calls to walk customers (or at least your membership clients) through troubleshooting error signals. Our system had a fairly simple malfunction that was due to the high winds and freezing temps. There was truly nothing broken, it was just circumstantial. Anyways, we first had the problem on Thursday and couldn’t get someone out til the following Tuesday because so many people were having problems. Completely understandable. But if we hadn’t had a friend who helped us troubleshoot to get through the worst of the bad weather we would’ve been without heat for four and a half days. It made me wonder if an emergency hotline to talk through simple issues would be a good option to during emergencies?

Last week, we were having issues with our A/C turning off, intermittently, and Bob was scheduled to come out and help us.He was on time and fantastic to work with. Since Im not the expert, I wanted to learn what may be going on. Bob answered my questions and also explained the what and why of what he was doing. He searched and dug, but wasnt able to locate the problem as the system was working well at the time. Hed hoped to find an electrical issue, but with all the testing he wasnt able to find the problem.He didnt try to sell me parts I didnt need and said I should call the next time it stops and hopefully they can get back in time to check it while it was down.Bob was great to work with and honest with me. During the past several years our existing HVAC system was constantly in need of repairs. We opted to have Johnson Heating & Cooling come out and install a new system. We noticed an immediate improvement. We are now 13 months into the new system and couldn’t be happier. We have kept up with seasonal maintenance by scheduling them to come out in the spring and fall. Scheduling is easy. They provide a time slot, a courtesy text msg and phone call when they near and has always been well within the timeframe provided. They also provide a profile of the person coming out to perform the service call. The most recent person was Bob. Bob is very knowledgeable, professional and personable. Explains what he is doing, what I as a homeowner should see and need to do to keep up on the new system which I appreciate. I highly recommend Johnson Heating and Cooling.

I have used Johnson for both a replacement AC unit and plumbing repair. Both times the repairmen were professional and helpful. Had 3 estimates for the AC, Johnson provided the best value. The plumbing issue was a bit of an emergency on a holiday weekend. The plumber was able to put in a temporary fix to be able to return after the holiday for the permanent fix so we wouldn’t need to pay increased holiday rates. We didn’t get estimates, but assumed we were being charged a reasonable rate based on our previous experience. We’ve been happy with the repairs.

Around 6:30 p.m. we realized we had a major leak from our toilet upstairs and water was coming through the ceiling. I called Johnsons and they had someone out to our home by 8 p.m. Rick was our plumber and he was fantastic. He was super friendly, knowledgeable and knew immediately that we needed a new toilet. He told us the exact one to get, we called the hardware store and they had one available. Rick even went with my husband to the store to get the toilet and the necessary accessories, then came back and replaced the toilet for us. He worked until 11 p.m. to get it all fixed and even repaired some of the floor pieces that were missing that would have prevented the ceiling leaking. He was kind and we had great conversation with him all night. He also loved our two kitties, which we appreciated. Im thankful we called Johnsons, and that Rick was our plumber!

Today I had a kitchen sink I purchased installed by Johnson and in the process, discovered a drain line needed to be cleared. The techs were very courteous. They were very careful to protect floors and surrounding areas and cleaned up everything after the job was complete. They took care to ensure all water and drain lines were connected and tested leak-free. In 2012, I had Johnson relocate and install my new central air conditioner and the quality of that job played a large role in why I continue to call Johnson for all of my heating/cooling/plumbing needs. Mike was nice and friendly but upon trying to find the leak he broke a piece off of my water heater and made it seem very nonchalant. Said the piece wasn’t really needed but only way to fix was to have a new water heater installed. I’m not too happy about this.. if the piece wasn’t needed it wouldn’t have been on the system. Wasn’t offered anything to make up for that.Edit-I received a call from the VP Paul and they are coming to fix the problem. I appreciate being contacted and the issue being resolved swiftly.

I was able to get emergency services with effective solution to sump pump failure problem promptly on Saturday! It was very easy to schedule needed repairs to our sump pump drainage line outside. Paul did a great job diagnosing the problem on Saturday and then trenching a new sump pump drainage line through our side yard (filled with rocks & roots) across a walk way while managing to preserve our landscaping. Time to complete the job was reasonable, charges were reasonable & quality of work was excellent.

Our system was old and was using the discontinued refrigerant, just filling it back up and seeing how long it would last was not a cost effective option. However, the technician put enough in to get us by until a new AC could be put in. They gave us several option on new units and advised us on what would pair best with our existing furnace. Then new AC was installed on Wednesday, and our how has been nice and comfortable since. When its time.to replace our furnace this is who we will be calling.

I had a dual well set up and he replaced so that everything was leak-free, with clean routings, and more easily serviced in the future. As soon as I answered the door Mike said my leak issue was probably coming from the AC. Sure enough that was the issue. Clogged drain pipe, etc. The filter was soaked and took some work to get the completely wet filter out. Mike was polite, professional and right on time. Good service is what its all about. Our house is on a septic system with a waste ejector pump sending waste to the septic tank. The pump failed suddenly leading to a big mess and an inability to use any water in the house because there was no where for it to drain to. I called Johnson Heating and Plumbing at noon when I discovered the problem. They didn’t have any available openings that afternoon, but because it was an emergency, they promised to get someone over at the end of the day. Sure enough, a wonderful plumber arrived around 4 pm and within an hour, had the pump replaced, the mess cleaned up, and our water systems back in service. Great service.

A bit on the expensive side for the work needing done but that’s about any plumber/HVAC company. But our technician, Tom Stewart, was polite and friendly.All-in-all I would recommend them for their quality of work and speediness. I would only recommend to anyone that has a “minor fix”— always consider trying a DIY because sometimes a small toilet water supply line, valve/ stop that’s about a foot long can cost you about $350.

Ive used Johnson a couple times to check and service my AC and furnace. Theyre always able to come out very quickly and fix whatever issues I have. I havent used other companies to compare prices; they seem to be a little expensive, but you get what you pay for in life.

The gentlemen that did a wonderful job preforming my annual inspection. I asked about my old broken batter operated backup for my sump pump. They told me several possibilities to help me work around my system and also about their backup system. They saved me hundreds of dollars and I got a top of the line sump pump backup system.
