Its a great feeling when you find a smaller, locally owned company that does such a nice job. Called Winters Plumbing at 10am and Steve arrived within just a couple of hours (same day!!). Needed to replace two dripping exterior hose bibs before the cold hits. Workmanship was solid, job was completed quickly (here and gone in 3 hours), and Steve made a very small (and properly square) drywall cut that will be easy for me to repair! Super polite and pleasant guy. Couldnt ask for a better service experience!

Service Date: December 2024 Issues: High water bill, hot water coming out of cold faucets, and hissing noises around water heater. Slab leak was repaired and old water heater replaced. Brittany, Kellie, and Dawson were outstanding in everything they did for us. 5 stars is not enough for the quality of communication and work from this team. We moved into a new home in Westfield in May 2024. Because our home was built on a slab and our water heater is on the second floor, it takes 3-5 minutes for the water to get hot in the kitchen sink and the downstairs bathrooms. Lots of frustration and wasted water! Our neighbors had the same problem and recommended Winters Plumbing to us. We had Winters and another company come out to offer solutions and pricing. The solutions were as different as the cost was. The other company offered a solution that was not only impractical but cost $8,000! Winters had a simple solution called Comfort Zone. They installed the system and we now have hot water in seconds! And all for about $1,200!! The plumber who installed the system, Donnie, was very professional and personable and provided valuable education along the way. I will be using Winters for all our future plumbing needs going forward. I highly recommend them to anyone reading this post.

Oh my goodness!! I have lived here for 5 years and my kitchen sink on one side has never drained well. I have gotten a few quotes and this one was about the same. Excellent work!! Just excellent. Beautiful job and it drains perfectly. He even did the extra turn-off valve I requested for my dishwasher. I couldnt be happier!! Thank you. I would recommend your company in a heart beat.

Chet was wonderful, knowledgeable, courteous. Winters Plumbing techs are capable of diagnosing and doing all types of repairs. Chet had a camera diagnosed the problem and found a 2nd problem. He was able to do the repair that day. He worked diligently and his work was worth every penny. Thank you Winters Plumbing!FYI I had called Hope Plumbing months before. Each of their techs can only do one portion of a job. The first tech came out due to toilet over flowing. He did not have a camera but snaked the line. The charge was well over $400. He said if I purchased their program at $8/month, the discount would bring that days cost to$430. I asked why the cost was do high. He said because the sewer tech would come out with a camera to make sure there were no blockages. Since this is s rental home, I had to come out again and wait for this guy. To make a long story short several of their techs came out and they just guessed. I asked the last expert for an estimate and he promised to email it to me but did not.Im so happy that I called Winters Plumbing and did continue with Hope plumbing

I cannot recommend this company enough! They are absolutely amazing. I called November 4th to set up an estimate appointment for replacing my water heater and Steve came out that night and was even willing to do it right then! We opted to wait until the morning of the 6th and they sent Dawson out to do the removal and install, he was nothing but professional and super helpful! Within 2 hours I had hot water again. Will definitely be calling them for all of our plumbing needs in the future!

Fair and honest company that provides great customer satisfaction. I’ve had many experiences with different plumbers for rentals. Winters is by far the best. They are responsive, punctual, and resolve issues very quickly. Management is great, if you run into any issues. Most recent work was replacement of 5ft collapsed main cast iron drain in kitchen under slab.

I saw a rare leak in my main out just B4 exiting thru the wall to a septic. It was the smell that alerted me as I sleep above that pipe. On flushing, it was streaming out and the smell was awful. They came out, did a thorough inspection and found nothing. A blockage that cleared? I was pleased they found nothing (though perplexed). Hasnt leaked since. I found the tech honest and friendly. Will use again.

We were in a panic with a water leak not knowing the origin. The first plumber we called had no idea & finally concluded it was from an external source. I then called Winters Plumbing after frantically searching on Google & seeing the positive reviews. Dawson quickly & efficiently determined the leak was from the hot water line of our master shower, resulting in damage to the two floors directly below. He cut out just enough drywall to replace the affected section of PEX, & that solved the problem. Dawson was courteous, knowledgeable, & thorough. We canceled our service contract with the previous company, & will now use Winters Plumbing for all of our plumbing needs.

This is an amazing company! I called them when a tenant in a nearby town called me to report that her water heater stopped working. The Winters showed up the same day at the rental and advised me that one of the tenant’s children had turned the thermostat off. They could have easily charged me $1,000+ to replace the water heater. They even refused to let me pay their very reasonable trip charge. Highly recommended!!

When we found a gas leak on a Friday afternoon and had our gas turned off until we could get it repaired, we were obviously in a rush to get someone out ASAP. Winters not only came out at 9 am on Saturday with a very reasonable emergency fee, but Steve took several hours to fix the known leaks and then figure out why our line still wouldn’t stay at pressure. He was patient and thorough, and their price was very fair. We need more work done to fully fix the additional problem found, and we will definitely call Winters again to complete it!

Steve always stands by his work, I had a small leak under my Kitchen Sink he had done the plumbing after my kitchen makeover. He came back and fixed the small leak problem! NO CHARGE! This is an exceptional company! Its hard to find companies like this! Reliable, trustworthy and stand behind their work!I have used winters plumbing now two times. From the moment I have called, they are very professional courteous and always on time. Steve explains what he’s going to do how much is gonna cost before he ever starts. I interviewed five plumbing companies before selecting Winters Plumbing. When you choose a company to work for you, it should be no different than candidates interviewing for jobs. I treat each company that comes out with respect; we discuss the various aspects of the job and how the job will be performed. Ultimately, we end up in salary (project cost) discussions.COMMUNICATIONWinters Plumbing is a fantastic experience end-to-end. Winters Plumbing was incredibly responsive. We chatted via IM, phone and text. Never a delay. I worked with both Steve and Brittany. Their communication skills are excellent.JOB REQUIREMENTS1. Replace a Bradford 50g water heater (leaking from the top)2. Replace a Kenmore water softener that was 15 years old. I didnt realize these should be replaced every ten years due to the resin in the tank (look it up).3. Fix a 40 run of 2.5 kitchen sink pipe detached from the ceiling due to the strap cables, held in by nails, used by the original installers. It wasnt draining anymore and was full of gunk.ITEMS INSTALLED1. Tankless Navien 240A2 gas water heater, which required outside venting.2. Watco 2P150MPRO water softener.3. 40 run of 2.5 PVC replacing all straps with j-hooks and 2x4 bracing. In short, the house will have to cave into the basement before the new pipe comes down.4. Condensation neutralizer for the tankless water heater. This is good for the environment and drastically lowers the acidity of water emptied into the drains.TECHNICAL INTERACTIONSIm an incredibly technical person and engineer. I research everything from plumbing, electrical, carpet, etc. I like to know how things are installed and how they work for the simple fact of educating myself to get the best use out of everything.Steve and his team answered every question, and I never felt disrespected. While Steve has an opinion on specific equipment, which people should have, he walked me through the whys of arriving at his conclusion. Steves approach demonstrated his openness to educating others and learning himself. We enjoyed talking about the various plumbing systems ins and outs.INSTALLATION DAYDonny and Daniel were the installers. I was sure the job would last two days with the required work, and they just kept working and working through installation day. They worked until at least 6:30 pm. Im sure I told them repeatedly, Youre welcome to come back tomorrow; no rush. They were determined to see the job through to completion within the day.As they worked, I always had a question here and there; they took the time to answer every one of them; I had a great time learning, and they appeared to enjoy the conversation. Additionally, I have two dogs, and a job that lasts all day means the dogs will be around the house. At one point, Daniel looked over at Charlie, our Shepherd lounging around on the floor watching them work, and said, Charlie, get a paw in here and help us out. We all laughed.PRICEWinters price is incredibly competitive. There are a couple of things I look at:1. How much am I paying for parts?2. How much am I paying for labor?Parts are a commodity. You can find every price for every item online. Im not a fan of companies who mark up their prices. I have to pay sales tax on parts, and every dollar added is more money out of my pocket on taxes.Labor is a professional skill; you dont have to pay sales tax. That saves you money. Im happy to pay more for labor rates while saving money on commodity-priced parts. The job will be the same, but the taxes will be different.I found Winters to be very competitive in both price and labor. Smaller companies have some advantages in having fewer systems and staff to manage operations. This helps keep costs down.OVERALLI have a new plumber that Ill use for several years. The best deal is someone you trust who falls into your affordability category. Winters Plumbing fits into each of these categories. I couldnt be happier.

I found Winter’s Plumbing in a random search on Angi’s List. Originally, it was for two new toilet installs. The technician (Chet) came out, was punctual, friendly, and very professional. He was able to install the one and during the install of the second, found a plumbing leak we did not know about. He explained the issue in detail and even helped us find the right contractor who needed to repair flooring and sub flooring for us. Chet knew we were caught off guard and he did do his part to make it better. He still removed both old toilets, cleaned the area well, and left both bathrooms in good condition. His expertise and willingness to help us as much as he could without being rushed to leave or dismissive is why we will continue to use Winter’s for our future plumbing needs.

When I called Winters Plumbing to investigate a water leak, they were able to schedule a same day appointment with a 2-hour window and their plumber, James, arrived right within that window. He was very friendly, knowledgeable, respectful, and clearly dedicated to his craft. He was very thorough in his investigation of the leak, which ended up being grouting issue (but I was relieved to rule out a plumbing issue given the frigid weather). He even took the time to briefly inspect my DIY water softener install, which I can proudly say passed.My experience with Winters Plumbing was overwhelming positive. Their pricing is fair, consistent, and provided prior to starting any work. James provided multiple scenarios and potential costs associated with each scenario, so I wouldnt be blindsided. When do need plumbing work done (which will hopefully be when I remodel my bathrooms) I will reach out to them without hesitation.

Our 10yr old water heater sprung a leak. We purchased a new one ourselves and decided to call Winters Plumbing to get an estimate for installation. We had never used them before as our previous plumbing company experiences were less than stellar. Where do I start? We scheduled Winters to come out for what we thought was an estimate to get water to our bathroom.Our water softener blew and sent resin throughout the house, thereby blocking our entire water supply. No water to anywhere in the house. We panicked, called the only plumber we have dealt with previously, they came out and installed a new softener, managed to get most of our water flow restored, but couldn’t get it to the second bathroom shower and toilet.Plumber #1 initially gave us an estimate of $2800 to tear out the wall and install new incoming water pipes; let me say that again:$2800! Plumber #2 came by and gave us an estimate of $1500ish and plumber #3 had an estimate of $1700ish.We then recontacted Plumber #1, who installed the new softener and told them we wanted them to send someone else out to review their quote of $2800 and to see if there were ANY alternatives to opening up the entire wall; their second guy came out, still couldn’t restore water flow to that bathroom, but did say the first guy was way off on his estimate and revised it to $1400ish.Winters plumbing was scheduled to come out this afternoon and showed up within the agreed upon timeframe. He tried to restore water flow, couldn’t and said only thing to do was open the wall. Gave us an estimate, which was roughly 1/3 of the other estimates. When I asked him when they could come back to do it, he said “I can do it now”. Whut?He cut as little of the drywall as possible, determined where the resin was clogging the water line, cut it out and replaced what needed replacing. The final invoice: $518, full repair in about two and one half hours-we spent more time than that talking to estimators for Plumbers 1-3!The plumber who came out was Donny Stephens; he was professional and knowledgeable. He even apologized for not being able to mop up all the drywall dust! I can’t say enough about how good he was. We will definitely use Winters for any future plumbing needs and I will be recommending them to everyone I know. I was so amazed to find a plumbing company that prices fairly and does just what needs to be done without adding extras.Warning: our softener was about 15 years old and we didn’t know about this resin thing. We will be replacing our softeners much sooner in the future-this could have been much more expensive for us!Thanks to Donny and Winters Plumbing! Highly recommend!

As well as other plumbing that was a little further away from the water heater.Steve and the guys installed a pump above the water heater and not only does it get to all the plumbing faster, but also with a lot more pressure. Wow! They got us in their schedule within 48 hrs of our call. The plumber was very good! We were installing a new sink and noticed our shut off valves were leaking when we turned them off. They were pretty old, one was original with our home. He repaired that and also helped us finish installing our garbage disposal.Not only was he on-time, communicative, knowledgeable, and efficient with his work, he double and triple checked his work, making sure everything was done right. He was also under budget for what we expected to pay having had similar work done before.He also gave us a quote on some other work we asked him for - old house. We will definitely use them again. They are a small, local business right here in Greenwood.

On April 12, 2022, Winters plumbing installed a water heater for me. The plumber was a rather young kid. I thought he would have some help but he was solo. As he began the task of my install he was very pleasant and friendly. Near the end of the install he ran into a small problem which dealt with the exhaust vent. He just could not get it installed back the way it was. I could tell he was a little frustrated. He then mentioned to me I may have to get a HVAC guy out to fix this issue. In my mind I thought...( why should I have to call an HVAC guy when you did this?) He was mad and frustrated. He connected all the lines and everything. He then went back to the vent issue. After carefully looking at the issue, he then fixed it with no problem. I was satisfied and I did tell him, not as a customer but as a dad talking to his son, it may have been a little frustrating now, but when this happens again, youll know what to do. A lesson learned. Overall, Winters is a very good, caring, and good plumbing company. Steve is pleasant and down to earth. I would definitely use them and recommend then to anyone. Shout out Brittany too! Lol.

This company is great will definitely use them again. Had what I thought was a simple toilet valve repair bc I kept hearing a hissing sound and there was water under the valve. Called in early and they were out in 30 minutes. Donnie fixed the valve but went the extra mile to locate the hissing sound (bc it wasnt the toilet valve) and found that a pipe in the wall had busted. I dont know how long it would have been before I found it if it hadnt been for Donnie going above and beyond what he was there to do. Thank you so much Donnie it sure could have been worse if it wasnt for you!
