Jamie took on a big main floor renovation for us that involved demo down to studs, a full kitchen remodel, incorporating outdoor porch space as indoor heated square footage, & more. It was a big undertaking and I’m glad we went with Lakenridge. I’ve done multiple reno projects through the years on different properties & have experienced a spectrum of contractor work & quality. Jamie maintained great communication throughout the project and always took time to go over details, questions, or concerns as they came up. His subcontractors and staff were all very professional and did high-quality work. It was a 5 month long project, which was a relatively short amount of time given the size of the project & delay issues during covid. Inevitable hiccups or problems along the way (always happens with any project) were relatively minor & Jamie always did his best to appease the customer. The biggest issue was due to unexpected increases in cost, partially due to supply chain/materials’ rising costs in 2021-2022 & partially due to unforeseen circumstances during the project. Jamie took the time to sit down with me and go over line by line, and come up with a solution that makes the most sense.Hope to work with Jamie and Lakenridge again!

My husband Jeff and I were so impressed with Jamie Campbell and Lakenridge Builders, Inc. In late summer of 2017, our 15-year-old dried up and splintered deck, went from an ugly eye sore to a gorgeous screened-in porch! After they completed the screened-in-porch, our eyes were opened to how bad our porch leading to the back door looked. We asked Mr. Campbell if his crew could update it while they were here. He kindly worked this into the other project and needless to say, it too, looks absolutely terrific!Jeff and I are a one income family. So, needless to say, Mr. Campbell was very reasonable in price or we could not have had this done! Lakenridge Builders transformed our entire home, made it look so much better and increased the value of our home! I’m sure Uncle Sam will appreciate it as much as we do. LOLI cannot close without saying that Jamie Campbell is so friendly, professional and extremely talented. His design ideas far exceed any of the contractors you see on the DIY Network. I personally think he should have a show of his own! Hats off to Jamie Campbell and his crew. They did an amazing job, at a reasonable price and in a small amount of time! Im sure we are going to enjoy this new addition to our home for many years to come.

I can’t say enough about the quality work from Jamie and his team. Everything was done as promised by a friendly, professional staff. The custom made cabinets were perfect, giving us the kitchen and storage that we needed and better than we could have imagined. The completely new bathroom is beautiful. Looking forward to phase 2. Won’t use anyone other than Lakenridge. Thanks Jamie and crew.

I used Lakenridge Builders to remodel a bathroom in my home. Jamie and his team (Miguel and Lucy) did a wonderful job! They welcomed my feedback throughout the entire process and I never felt that my ideas or concerns were taken lightly. I was referred to Jamie by a close friend and have not regretted using them on this project. I will continue to use them as other projects arise and have already referred them to a good friend of mine that is interested in a bathroom remodel. Lakenridge built our deck with a bench. Also changed a double window to a sliding door on a brick house. The people at Lakenridge are professional, hard working and know their craft. Our deck is beautiful and well built. Jamie, the owner is genuinely nice and willing to work with our budget and our changing plans. We hired Lakenridge Builders to build a screened porch and deck with pergola, and it is absolutely amazing! It is exactly what we had in mind and more. The unique pergola design using large dimensional cedar beams is really beautiful, and using reclaimed wood to create a wonderful feature wall to hide the gas fireplace vent is both beautiful and eco-friendly. We couldnt be more pleased with the results.

Jamie and his team were great to work with and made sure I was happy every step of the way. Jamie and his crew just finished a remodel of our home. Jamie was great to work with during this process. He was always willing to try to incorporate new ideas or additions to the original plan. We interviewed several contractors before starting our job. I would definitely recommend Jamie and Lakenridge Builders for any of your remodeling needs. We renovated the master bath, added a jack and jill bathroom, added two different built in areas in the home, deck addition, as well as, new windows and gutters outside.

Jamie was extremely knowledgeable about what we were trying to accomplish, and presented ideas that we hadnt thought of to make our kitchen a more beautiful and functional space. His team was very friendly and efficient, and we were constantly impressed with how quickly the project moved along. I got 4 estimates before beginning my kitchen remodel project and Jamie (the owner of Lakenridge) was the ONLY one who actually listened to me (instead of *telling* me what I wanted). The initial estimate was also SEVERAL thousand less than the others.This was an extensive remodel project of an 80-year old home that included taking down walls, patching and refinishing hardwood floors, and all new kitchen appliances and cabinetry. Having heard home remodeling horror stories from friends in the past, in all honesty I was expecting tons of issues (as the natural course of things) but there were VERY few and all of them were resolved quickly and easily.The Lakenridge sub-contractors were pleasant and skilled and never hesitated to answer my many, many questions.The BONUS - the original project came in so far UNDER budget that I ended up having the whole interior painted and a new gas furnace installed.I HIGHLY recommend Lakenridge builders. They will help you realize your dream project at a reasonable cost. And they are just darn nice people!!

Jamie and his team did an outstanding job on our kitchen and main level remodel project. It included removal of a load bearing wall, refinishing cabinets, installing new cabinets/large island, installing new appliances, refinishing floors on entire main level and other associated work. We learned of Jamie from two other homeowners in our area that had similar experiences with Lakenridge. Jamie and his crew were trustworthy, respectful, hard working and very helpful in guiding us through project decisions, and coming up with great solutions to problems that arose. They were also quite patient with my nightly questions.Jamies pricing was extremely fair, and we feel like we got an excellent value for the cost. Would give them 10 stars if the scale would allow!OUTSTANDING. Highly recommend.

Lakenridge builders did an amazing job on an attic room that turned into a guest bedroom. This included putting in a new window through the brick on the outside. Hard to describe the awesome transition from nothing to a spectacular room. They also build a massive deck roof with these magnificent big wood beams. The woodwork of the ceiling is exquisite. We will be using them again for future projects.

Along the way, Jamie provided excellent suggestions and guidance to improve the final look of the finished product. The only reason is review is not a 5 stars, is that the project took a bit longer than desired due to weather and permitting delays.

The short version.I can only say good things about Lakenridge Builders. They were extremely reasonable, honest, on schedule and they get by full recommendation.Long version.I was hoping to build an extension of my existing deck and building an enclosed section with screening with new gable roof. I initially went to a Decking specialist who I wont name who gave me an initial eye quote of 15-25k. Some basic googling suggested 15-20k so I was happy going forward. 2 weeks later we get a basic sketchup and an adjusted price of 50k. After some further searches, I found that this was not uncommon for them and was normal with other deck specialist.I was then recommended to Lakenridge by a neighbor who appreciated their work. Jamie (the owner) came by himself to look over the project and was extremely helpfull about small adjustments that can make a big impact on the budget and how to maximize the space and functionality. I left feeling better about the design after talking to someone who was clearly knowledgeable about the work and entirely transparent about the process. His quote was perfectly on target (17k) and he never budged from that quote even after a few minor elements that surely cost him more than he projected.6 weeks later he had seamlessly prepared the building permits and helped with satisfying my HOAs needs. The builders were on time and did fantastic work to build the deck and gable roof, and frankly were a pleasure to have around and did not feel like a burden. They kept the work site (my home) clean and safe and I never had an issue. I had planned a week vacation during the build and Jamie worked with me to make sure that the project would not have any delays and that everything moved smoothly without us.I admit that I may not have been the easiest of customer for Jamie, but he never showed anything but professionalism. I did highlight a couple minor issues that I had found at the 11th hour after all the workers had left and Jamie came by to help with my nitpicking which I knew must have been a hassle.It has now been 3 months so I could full absorb the quality of the work, the experience, and generally how I felt about the whole process. I can say that I am completely satisfied with the work and would highly recommend them.

Can not say enough good things about Jamie and his crews.He just finished a screened porch addition to my home. I had no luck in my area with contractors as they all seemed too busy to start anytime soon. I seen his ad and read about his company Lakenridge Builders on line and cautiously contacted and signed a contract. He priced the job fair. Started and completed on time and accommodated any changes and add on I made with a good attitude and again priced fair and accordingly. Communication was good the entire time. So easy to work with. Jamie Cambell and his team recently completed a screen porch build for my home. I am incredibly impressed by how beautiful it looks! I appreciated so much that they handled all of the subcontractors and permitting. Jamie took my rough idea of where the porch would go, and created a masterpiece. They used quality materials and gave suggestions on other things I could do to make it look even better. Throughout the process, Jamie has been incredibly easy to communicate with. Jamie and his creesbuilt a phenomenally beautiful sunporch off the back of our deck. They put in beautiful tongue and groove pine ceilings, added a slanted tin roof, and beautiful EzeVue windows all the way around. It looks so good it could be an architectural digest, and with the EzeVue windows open we got a phenomenal breeze in addition to the two ceiling fans. It is a finished product that is beautiful, and a peaceful place for my wife and I to rest and read. Let me put it this way. The bathroom remodel looks so good, it makes the rest of my house need remodeling. Had old tub/shower installation removed and new tile shower installed with new tile floor, new paint and new electrical installed in the bathroom. The work exceeded my expectations. We hired Jaime to completely gut our home and add an amazing screened in porch. We were impressed with him from the very beginning. He was a friend of our realtor and just out of his kindness looked at our house before we bought it, to help make sure the home was good structurally. We could not be happier with the job that he did. Jaime has incredible character and was great to work with throughout the entire process. It is very important to him that the customers are happy with his work and he works hard to make that happen. His subs and those who work for him were also great to work with. They were very respectful of our home and took off their shoes before entering and did not smoke in our home. Jaime is incredibly talented and has great vision, especially with woodworking. There were several times that we could not make a decision on exactly what we wanted and we let him use his creativity and were so impressed with how everything turned out. We look forward to working with him again in the future.

This whole process was new to us and he was able to walk us through the process, giving us ideas we would not have thought of, and turning out a perfect product that is the talk of all of our friends who come over to the house. Jamie gave us a quote up front that worked within our budget. Unlike other contractors we had used in the past, the price at the end was what was quoted, no surprise charges. The whole crew was respectful and professional during the remodel process of our family, property, and time. Jamie and all his sub-contractors answered all our questions each time we would call, responsive to our design changes along the way, and helped us through the process. We recently had our patio screened in by Lakenridge Builders and are completely satisfied with the results. The patio was roofed with sky lights and tied into the existing roof. The tongue and groove ceiling with fan and can lights looks amazing and matches the porcelain floor tile perfectly. Jamie was very easy to work with and answered our questions and concerns about material choice and any additional work we wanted done. Jamie is customer oriented and wanted us to be happy with the work, which we are. We would certainly recommend Lakenridge Builders for any job, large or small.
