Edit: Changed from a 2-star review to a 5-star review. I spoke with Wilmer (master plumber) who was able to clear the air. He let me know this was a simple misunderstanding with the field tech and that if I do decide to go ahead with the service that the $59 would be credited to the final invoice. I just want to say that compared to many of the other plumbers in the area, this company does not overcharge just because of the area we live in. They are more than reasonable and very responsive.Original: I was lied to by this company when requesting an estimate to do repair work. They told me there was a $59 charge (already high and many companies do not charge you) to come out and do the estimate, and that it would be waived if I then decided to have them do the work. I got the estimate and decided I would get the parts myself to reduce the cost. The plumber told me unless I decide to do the work right then and there, the fee would not be waived even if I have them do the work anyways on another day. He then told me he could “maybe get it waived” if I paid %50 down right then. Do yourself a favor and just call somebody else who won’t lie to you.

I just think it was too expensive and when I told my neighbors it cost $810 to replace a faucet, they agreed it was too expensive. I have used them in the past and they always to good quality work I just dont like their pricing.

Mario showed up exactly 30 minutes from the time he called, told us he could replace the water heater this afternoon even though it was getting late. He went out, got our new water heater and replaced everything within a few hours., My kids got to take their nightly baths:-) And I did not have to mortgage my soul for the replacement and repair costs.

I knew replacing it was needed, but explained things and answered all my questions. Highly recommend Wilmer who did the work the other seven plumbing companies I called would not.

He left no mess behind and only took a couple of hours for the job. the company provided a FLAT estimate at 9am, well below others, and were gone by 12:30 with also having to go to the store to pick up some extra supplies he didnt know he would need.

William was AWESOME! The main water valve which was a gate leaked profusely when I tried to shut it off. Water was everywhere. Called # 1 Plumber and told them it was an emergency. Said could not get there for about an 1-hr but would see what could do and this was on a Sat. William showed up about 15 minutes later. It was a real trick repair cause the valve was not well exposed so William cleanly cut a small portion of the wall and then went to work cutting out the old valve and then soddering in a new one in very tight quarters. William worked diligently and would not give up as the first soder did not take so had to do it again but finally got it. he was just great and saved me from bailing out my home from the dripping water. He also had to find the turn off valve outside which was not easy. I would definitely recommend these guys. Price was reasonable given the amount of work and the emergency nature of call.

We got an enormous water bill and called this company to help us find the leak. They sent someone that day, he arrived about 90 minutes after we called. He was friendly (and not afraid of dogs) and quickly gathered the info to identify the problem. He explained everything clearly and gave us options including the cost to help us make a decision. He gave me a little tutorial to help me with future issues. This is the second time they have helped us. I am confident in their honesty and competence. Jay Romero was our plumber both times.

The problem was a toilet that was flushing and draining very slowly. Not clogged completely yet, but getting there. The technician who was dispatched was Jay Romero. He listened to my explanation, asked several questions, had me flush the upstairs (secondary) toilet. He did some thinking and looking before he gave me a recommendation. Some of these plumbers nowadays walk in the front door and they already know what they going to say. We are very pleased that Jay does some investigating and analysis first. He is trying to fix the problem, not rebuild the entire house. I feel if he makes a recommendation, I can trust him.This is an edit to the original review. I had another problem that Mr. Romero looked at. The flapper in the toilet developed blisters and leaked, causing the tank to replenish itself periodically all day. Again, we thought is was the flapper, but he checked first by introducing dye. You could then see the dye leaking into the toilet bowel from the tank. Then he completed the repair. I thankful that he is thinking and checked first. Good company, good technician.

Fantastic service with Mario! Very knowledgeable and thorough. He was timely and efficient. Making the appointment was easy. They sent a confirmation email and invited me to call if I had any questions. Todays service was clearing a clogged drain in a basement tub.
