Had a problem on a Friday where my sewage was coming out my clean out indicating a problem in the main line. Bobby showed up after regular hours. He snaked without success. He then went to back to the warehouse and got the hydro-jet and a co worker. They cleared the line around 9:30 pm. We were so thankful! I also had dealings with Amy and Carey after this initial visit. Both were excellent. Their honesty saved us time and money, and the issue was resolved in the utmost professional manner. Thank you!

Weve been using TCR Rooter for years. Most recently we had them inspect our sewer line, which tended to back up once or twice a year due to roots getting into the line. Michael did a great job of camera work, and it showed root intrusion everywhere, and did a running commentary, carefully marking where the line went. The camera work revealed that sewer line was constructed of orangeburg, which was used around WWII, and had an expected lifetime of 50 years; our house is 70 years old. We then contracted with them to replace the line, which involved cutting through our driveway, and also out into the street. Amy did a fantastic job of getting the city permits lined up quickly, and explained what the day-to-day process would be like. Their technician Dean and his crew got the job done exactly as they had planned out: we were without a working sewer line for only half a day during the 4 day process. The job was done professionally and smoothly, and the communication was excellent.

Several months ago TCR Rooter did a clean-out of a clogged sewer line at our house. After the initial clean-out they recommended a camera inspection of the line. During the camera inspection it was determined that the sewer connection at the cleanout right next to the house had separated. This separation/break was clear to see on the video. Michael did the service call and the camera inspection. We received a quote to repair the connection and scheduled the work for April.The technician - DEAN - completed the job last week. Dean did an initial visit to inspect the area and also ensure the “blue stake” had been completed. We chatted a bit that day about what the job would entail. On the day of work, Dean arrived on time and explained how he planned to complete the repair. I was able to take photos at each stage (for my records) and he explained in detail what he was doing at each stage. His work was exemplary and his extensive knowledge very evident when we spoke.The quote we received stated we would receive “credit” for the camera inspection (if the job exceeded $1000) which we did. Also, since the work only needed a “mini excavation” (a large hole - but only needed to be done with a shovel) the bill was lower than what we had been quoted. We are very pleased with the service we received from TCR Rooter.

We had several main line backups over a period of about 3 years that were caused by tree roots entering into the outgoing line to the street sewer. They came and cleared it out with a hydro-jet system and the improvement is huge (they gave us photos of the interior of the pipe before and after the process). Should be able to have many trouble-free years now, and cost was much lower than a full replacement would have been. Thanks guys!

TCR replaced my propane water heater for a fraction of the cost of other plumber’s quotes. I purchased my own heater at Home Depot and TCR made it fit with some ingenious plumbing skills.This saved me about $8,000. The first quote and service call was for $10,000 + $300. I purchased a water heater for about $1200 and installation was $700 + $99 service call.Brian, the plumber, explained everything and had to redo the exit ducting plus fix some previously poorly done pipe engineering.The second plumber quoted $800 but would not warranty his work because it was a third party water heater and delayed the installation for two weeks before I gave up and paid his service fee of $250.

We called TCR to service our tankless water heater that was showing a flame error code. Michael came out the next day after we called. We were thankful for the quick response. He replaced our ignition unit and two flame sensors then gave the unit a very thorough cleaning. He was working with Kerry in the office who was on the phone with the factory rep to help troubleshoot. They were able to narrow down the issue to a propane supply issue. A service call from our propane company solved the problem as they predicted. This was a challenging troubleshooting situation and both Michael and Kerry went way above expectations to restore our hot water. Given all the hours they put into this issue we were very happy with the cost of the service which they kept at their original estimate. We will certainly use them again for any future plumbing issues.

Twas the afternoon before new years day and all through the house everyone was stirring preparing for the new years eve festivities. When all of a sudden there arose such a clatter and water started running and no one knew what was the matter.Turned out the drain was clogged and I was able to get in contact with TCR. I was scheduled between 3 and 5 and Michael showed up right at 4PM. After diagnosing the problem and trying to clear the drain through one of the clean outs, he resorted to pulling one of the toilets. The drain was cleared and the everything was back in working order before the main course was served.Friendly service. Reasonable pricing. All around a great experience. I was happy to have Michael here and even though it was new years eve he was thorough and got the job done right without rushing through it. Thank you.

I called one Friday morning with what I thought was an emergency repair. The only thing available was after hours. I got my self on the list. Randomly a spot open during the day and they got me in by early afternoon. Michael was send by the office to take a look. Called Cary at TCR in the morning with an inoperable boiler which meant no hot water or in-floor heating when it was about 17 degrees outside. He asked me to send him some pictures of the system. About 3 hours later after some photos and texts I got a call that someone was on their way out 15 miles to our home with some tools and parts. In about two hours I had the problem diagnosed and repaired with running hot water and our home heating up. The person that did the diagnosis and repair was named Eddie and he was fantastic. He patiently explained everything he was thinking and doing as he went through the repair process. Thanks so much to Cary and Eddie for such a great job. Carey said he would do his best to work with scheduling to get me help with a stopped sewer pipe. I soon had a call that someone would be arrive between 1 and 3. Bobby soon arrived, just after lunch. Quickly, he set to work clearing what he said was something very hard and really blocking. He then camerad because we were afraid it was roots. We had a drain plumbing emergency this morning (Sunday) and needed someone fast to assist us. I called T.C.R. Plumbing and from the office staff to the technician I cant say enough to thank them for their help. Mike was the service technician, he called to let us know he was on his way and we discussed the problem over the phone so that he could get an idea of what he might need to do to get the drains unplugged. Once he arrived he went right to work and diagnosed where the problem was and then using his water pressure washer he had the drains opened in about 20 minutes! I happened to hear water leaking at the expansion tank connection to our water heater on Saturday evening around 5pm as I was leaving on an errand. I closed the cold water valve going into the water heater/expansion tank to stop the leak. TCR was notified and arrived at our house by 6:30pm. By 7:30pm, the repair was completed. On Friday, we discovered that our main floor drain had backed up and flooded the area. After calling around to multiple places, we learned that several plumbers don’t even handle drain work/snaking, which surprised us. One company agreed to come at noon on Saturday to fix it, but he was a no-show. So this morning (Monday), I called TCR Plumbing. Within one hour, Mike was here to snake the kitchen and main lines. He was personable and super-competent. After each step was completed, he showed me how the water flow had been restored, etc. I asked several questions throughout the process, and he was so patient in answering. Upon completion of the job we’d called him for, he further offered to improve the main drain area by securing the drain hoses that had simply been lying on the surface. He also screwed down our back deck boards that my husband had removed to allow access for the main clean-out. I’m so impressed with the quality of service we received today! I spoke with the scheduler at TCR and learned that they handle water softeners, hydronic floor heaters, and everything else we might need in the future. We finally found our QUALITY one-stop plumbing company. Thank you, TCR!

We had TC Rooter come to our house to assist with a toilet that wasnt flushing, based upon the recommendations of our plumber who no longer deals with tree roots in the pipes - a problem he had cleared in the past. Skyler was at the house before we were and checked the toilet first to make sure it wasnt an easier fix - a plugged toilet, which was not the issue. Then he cleared the line of roots. He was very thorough and knowledgeable. Office staff was very helpful and had great customer service. We would definitely call TC Rooter and Skyler again!

Long story short, we had a leak and needed to find out where. Called one company out and they checked the entire house couldn’t find a leak. Their best guess was that our main line from our front yard had a crack. After a week we decided to go ahead and go forward with our next steps to find the leak. Called three times no phone call returned. After looking at reviews online we decided to go with TCR rooter, and I’m so glad we did. Preston got here looked around and immediately found the leak! I can’t believe the other company missed it, all it was was a flip of a board and there it was. Clear as day water had been pooling and the entire ground was wet. He got us fixed up in 2 hours! All new piping with all new insulation. Definitely will be going with them for any other future problems or tasks. I’m just bummed I didn’t go with them in the first place.

Gabe Meyer from TCR Rooter came out to troubleshoot a failed grinder pump. The tank was overflowed, so he got me a deal on someone to pump it out while he snagged the last grinder pump from his supplier in town. He got the new pump installed and functional, working past sunset. He was friendly, professional, and we even spent some time talking about classic cars. Even TCRs phone staff was courtious and kept me informed every step of the way. Even going so far as to route Gabe to me a day early when a slot opened up in his schedule. These are absolutely the people to use!

Brian and Tyler arrived on time, listened to our explanation of what was going on with our jet pump problem. After listening to our problem, Brian felt that was probably a faulty check-valve; previous plumbers who looked at our problem had not check for a faulty check-valve. Brian built a device to check if the check-valve was indeed faulty. Brian and Tyler installed a new check-valve and the problem we have been living with was solved! We called T. C. R. because we havent had water for over a week. They had a technician named Lyle Cody to our house within 10 minutes. There were multiple code violations that he fixed. He stayed until late in the night fixing our pipes in the cold (frozen ground with over a foot of snow) the whole time with a smile on his face and good natured. He left with all the violations fixed and water restored to our house. We couldnt have asked for a better tech and a better company to work with! We will definitely be referring all our business to them and requesting Lyle once again!

Great company, very nice people, quality of work is excellent. My only issue was that some work was done at Babbitt House (my place) and then the repairman got pulled off for another job... this is understandable since there were some bitter cold nights and my project wasnt an emergency, but I just had to call them to get the repairman back out to reset my boiler. Heres the scope of my work: shut off hot water supply from boiler to 2nd floor radiators, remove 2nd floor radiators, and only use the boiler for the 1st floor heat. In place of radiators, I installed Wi-Fi controlled Dyson air purifier heater fans... now I can individually control each rooms temperature (and air quality!), the rooms heat up faster, I am only heating rooms I need to be in, and before bed I can have my bedroom heat up only for the time Im in there. This saves me from heating all rooms 24 hours a day, and now Im only heating individual areas that I use 8 hours or so a day, while some rooms (like guest rooms) remain off completely until theyre used. My goal now is to continue with the removal of my boiler and circulation pumps for the entire home, which will save me money on my homeowners insurance, and in the long run will save on utilities especially now that solar panels are expected to be 50% less expensive in 2017 vs 2016... were finally at that point where solar makes total economic sense ($1/installed watt!), especially with energy storage for nighttime use getting cheaper and cheaper. Im looking forward to the day when I have no more natural gas bill, no more chance for leaking/broken pipes related to the heating system, faster heating, more precise heating, and no more APS bill! TCR is great, and they have a guy working for them named Ben (not me, different Ben) whos quality of work is excellent. I plan on using them for the plumbing portion of renovating 4 bathrooms and a kitchen as well, and one day building out a guest house. Thanks TCR!
