I was very impressed with Andgar and the communication i had with katie when i first called and with the technician. Jared was so honest, my house is old and I was alittle worried, but he told me everything was fine and just gave me a few suggestions but was never pushy and was upfront about costs of things. He was also very patient and polite and took his time to show me how things worked. It was just a good experience all together. Communication and honesty just go such a long way and i just really appreciate that so much.

I wanted to share my experience with Angar as I felt that the service and care was truly exceptional. We had a new furnace installed by Angar back in 2021, and since then it has been working well. Over the weekend, our thermostat stopped working, so we called on Monday and had a technician on site by 2:00 pm. Great! But thats not the good part. After fixing the thermostat, he went on to do a service of our furnace. He found that there had been a gasket that was not installed at the time of installation that was causing damage to our furnace. What I most appreciated was the honesty. Really, he could have come down and told me I needed to spend a bunch of money to fix something that I didnt really understand. But he didnt. There was a second technician here in just a little over an hour to install the parts needed and fix the issue. I cant express enough how much I appreciate the honesty and the care given. This really reflects well, not just on the workers, but the ownership and leadership within the company itself. Without leaders who care, you wont have workers who care. I will definitely recommend Angar and their services to my friends and family.

I had Andgar install a new Daikin furnace in my house after my old furnace finally failed. The crew (Doug and Braydan) found some problems caused by the old ducts that required upgrading with larger ones, which turned out to be a difficult job. I observed their work with interest, and I was very impressed with their knowledge and ability to complete the necessary work that required cutting holes in walls and ceilings. The new furnace is much stronger and needed larger conduits to work safely and efficiently. As a team, I grade them at A++. I can honestly say that they are the best professionals that I have ever hired for any type of job. They answered all of my questions gladly and explained in everything in detail. Doug even installed a new thermostat and taught me how to program it. I call these guys the A-Team. You cant go wrong if you hire them!

We had multiple plumbing and water heater problems, although not urgent, were annoying. However, the water heater problem was persistent and problematic enough that 3 different HVAC companies we approached previously did not have a clue on how to fix it. Eventually, our neighbor recommended Andgar to us. We were happy with their service and reasonable pricing. Consequently we employed them to solve all our plumbing and heater issues. In the process we have come to know quite a few members of their team. Stephani and Katie at the office are efficient in scheduling with pleasant communication skills. Ken is the skillful electrician who helped us with the heater temperature controls. The plumbers, Jackson, Drew, Victor, and Mitch, are all very knowledgeable, energetic, with commendable professional attitude in doing their various jobs. We enjoyed talking to them and serving them refreshments. They would not hesitate to consult their mentor, John the Chief Plumber, when they are not sure with their own judgements. John came several times to help solve the puzzling water heater problems. All in all, we are happy that we have found a very reliable and capable company to take care of our plumbing and HVAC maintenance.

Andgar sent someone out right away to look at a leak in our crawl space. Drew was extremely persistent trying to figure out a very tricky source to the leak. It would have been easy to “fix” the most obvious source but it would have been wrong so he probably saved us a bunch of money on return visits to get at the real problem. He was friendly, professional, and informative. We know we can always rely on Andgar.

Andgar was a pleasure to work with for selecting and installing a heat pump for our home. (They had previously replaced an aging gas furnace for me as well). The sales guy John, was easy to work with. He was great at explaining options, the all-in price he quoted was the price, and scheduling was simple. The installers were punctual, friendly, respectful of us being in the house, and communicated very well about how things were progressing. They did a great job fitting the components into the required space and having it look great. Cleanup was great as well. I wouldnt hesitate to use Andgar again.

The whole process, from appointment to installation was smooth and professional.Installation, including a new hot water heater, took ONE day. The crew worked efficiently, pulling old equipment and slotting in the new. By late afternoon all service was back up and running.Weve continued to use them for maintenance and upkeep. Mitch and Sean came out to do an estimate on my kitchen for a dishwasher install and were very honest and told me that I would need new cabinetry in order to have an installation. I’m very impressed with the customer service of Andgar! Our furnace started having issues in the middle of the cold stretch and I thought for sure that we’d have to wait days to get it looked at. I called Andgar and they came out the same day to address it and get it resolved. Then, literally that night, our hot water tank started leaking (what luck!?) and it was a Friday night. That means we have to go through the weekend with no hot water in the middle of the cold stretch. I called Andgar after hours (non-emergency line) and left a message thinking that I would get a call back on Monday. Nope! They called me back within an hour and offered to send someone out that night. I couldn’t believe it! This company is truly amazing and I wouldn’t recommend anyone else. We hired Andgar HVAC to replace the duct work for our dryer. Dylan showed up on time and ready to complete the work we requested. When we said that we were trying to improve the indoor air quality and wanted more filtration, he took the time to modify our filter housing to accept a thicker filter.I am very pleased with the results.

My gas fireplace had not worked correctly since I moved into my home over four years ago - many cold mornings and evenings I spent upwards of 30 minutes at a time trying to get the thing to light and also stay lit. After a thorough diagnosis, Ken determined two adjacent wires to one of the black boxes were each plugged into the wrong plug - once he switched them all my fireplace problems came to an end, and it now works perfectly! Upon knowing that we are servicing the furnace HVAC resulting from the home selling inspection, he recommended that we sign a service contract so that we can save on the furnace service on the house we just bought. This recommendation saved us almost half of the service fee. Rob was very thorough with the servicing, even cleaned the exhaust pipe and refit. He found out the static pressure was slightly high and recommended to remove the in-house air filter. The furnace area was left clean and tidy when he left. This was the first time I used Andgar. John quickly assessed that we likely had some well water sediment break loose and it caused a blockage. They always leave our furnace area cleaner than when they arrive. Our furnace died during a cold spell of 15 degree days. After trying to fix it myself for a day I called Andgar around 4:30pm. Erin from Andgar was on her way home when I called her, but came by or house anyway and stayed until 6:30 talking us through options and even offered to bring over a few more space heaters. We have 2 young kids at home, so Andgar made it a priority to get us heat as quickly as possible. We had a new furnace installed within a few days, and had our ducts cleaned by their technician, Forest, who did an excellent job. The 2 stage furnace we bought actually heats our house more evenly than our old modulating furnace (which are generally more expensive) due to our ducting layout, which Erin helped us understand during our first meeting. We highly suggest Andgar for any HVAC needs.

Tankless Water Heater Service and Repair - Contacted Andgar regarding issue with Rinai tankless home water heater. They were out the next day, arrived within the window they said they would be here. I had an intermittent problem and after 15 minutes of trying to duplicating the problem, reverted back to doing a service on the Water Heater, it was 5 years since the install and after proceeding with the repairs identified a lot of corrosion on the igniter coil. Since the error related to ignition it looked like the problem was identified. Cleaned it up as best he could and charged me for a service call which he completed and said would follow up to identify if anything else was needed. Robert was very professional, knowledgeable, and personable individual and took care of my issues. This has been my expectation of Andgar and the work they have done for me. Didnt know they did water heater service and repair.

Erin Pedack was very helpful in walking me through the steps of explaining the benefits and selecting a replacement Trane furnace.Likewise, the crew members who installed the furnace and the Honeywell thermostat were thoughtful and knowledgeable. Plus, they took time to answer my questions. The print on the initial Honeywell thermostat was too small for me to read. And Honeywells instructions were difficult to follow. Erin graciously took on the challenge and found another Honeywell thermostat which is easy to read with self explanatory notes and diagrams. I am very satisfied with the services Andgar provided. And now I can enjoy consistent comfortable heat, and air conditioning and easily adjust them as desired. Thanks to all of you!

We werent sure if we wanted to go with a tankless water heater or not and Johns knowledge of both systems helped us make the right decision for our family. Pricing was comparable to most HVAC companies in Whatcom County, however, Andgar was the only one that could get here within a day. In fact, John H began the job at 7 a.m. and finished at 8:30 a.m.! Robert M came out to my home and was on time and so respectful and honest about the problems with my old heater and that it was unusable that same day john D came out to measure for the new furnace and got us our estimate that same day he replied to all our questions so quickly and his kind friendly communication is so appreciated when having to replace a furnace. Doug was our installer and was on time and so clean and thoughtful he took off his shoes going threw my home and he left it better than it was and explained the new thermostat to me thank you doug! These men need a raise and because of how these 3 men treated my husband and I we will continue using andgar for our heating and cooling needs and will always recommend amazing customer service goes along way if you wante to be treated right go with andgar we will be back when we are ready for a new water heater thank you agien.
