    Ross Electric came out and ran the electric to our new garage, install lights inside and out, outlets, and an EV charger.I had great communication throughout the entire experience. The guys who came and did the installation were friendly and experienced. The manager who did all of the initial work, communicated with the guys as to what we needed and connected with me whenever I had questions, was fantastic as well. I really appreciated all the work they did, How helpful, personable and friendly they were. I recommend and believe you’ll have a satisfying experience and result.

    We would absolutely work with Ross Electric again. We had a great experience with everyone that came out to the house for various estimates and such. Between Ralph with the estimate, Nicole helping me schedule and reschedule, and taking care of all of the paperwork, to Sean who came out to do that work. Sean came out for multiple days, went through the job meticulously and made sure his work areas were completely cleaned by the end of each day. the job wasnt fancy, and likely more tedious than anything else for him, but Sean took the time and explained each step to me, walking through pros and cons of each decision that was made so i can be better informed. he also knows quite a bit of locals so he was able to give recommendations on who to call for what job. this crew cultivated trust and id be happy to work with them again!

    Although they took a week or two to return my calls, they were very apologetic and did come out immediately when they realized the oversight and delayed appointment date.The technician was extremely professional, friendly and experienced. They isolated the problem and corrected it very quickly and were very reasonably priced. I will definitely call them back for all of my future electrical needs.

    We have used Ross Electric three times this year. All the instances were emergencies. The first time we called because they came highly recommended by the NYSEG service rep who came to inspect the electric meter that had been ripped from the side of our house and was dangling by two wires. The service rep said, the guys at Ross know what they are doing. We called and Ross response was within 30 minutes!! They accessed the situation and fixed it within a very short timeframe. They took care of getting the permits, contacting NYSEG and did a really wonderful job. They explained each step to us and made it as stress free as a situation like that can be. Our technician at Ross also noted another situation that required our attention and we hired them to do that work for us as well. The last time Ross came to our rescue was about 2 1/2 weeks ago as the temperatures in our area were plummeting and wind chill factors were on the rise. Suddenly all our smart thermostats had no power. We recharged them and the error message came back. We called the oil company who originally installed them for us. They said they couldnt help us. They were short staffed. THEN we called the wonderful folks at Ross. From the woman who answered the phone to the technicians who came that next morning at 7:30 am - we could not have received better care anywhere. This is a wonderful group of people. They are smart, professional, and caring. For the service they provide, we felt their charges were reasonable. Ross Electric is everything you hope a company will be and rarely receive. We are loyal Ross Electric customers from now on. They earn that loyalty and we highly recommend them.

    Their service manager Ralph is very diligent and patient in resolving concerns or issues. I had some scheduling/communication concerns with the company at first due to miscommunication but they were very diligent in fixing and rectifying everything. Overall I had a good experience with Ross for multiple service calls and will continue to use their services in the future.

    Sean the electrician and his Apprentice Andrew were great… they were right on time, efficient , found the source of the problem and fixed it and they were neat and considerate of my home, even taking their shoes off. Will be using them again in the future.

    Exceptional service and communication. Not only was the work done well, on-time, and at a reasonable price, the staff went above and beyond to get my project completed when it was being held up by NYSEG. And when there was a question about the final result, the manager (Ralph) left the office to look for himself. He quickly solved the problem (which turned out to be ignorance on my part). Ralph and the folks at Ross will be my first call for any electrical work in the future.

    Tree came down tore our service off the house along with electric meter over night. Electric Company cut power and tree up and told us to call Electrician. Called Ross to install a new service and meter box and hang new lines to the pole at 10:30 AM and they were there by 11 am and everything was done by 1:30 PM. I can not give enough phrase to Ross electric and their crew. Too bad i cant say that about the Electric CompanyMike Ackerley

    Ross Electric installed a Generac backup generator at my home and has provided annual service on this generator. In all of my dealings with Ross Electric, the staff has been courteous and knowledgeable and has always responded promptly to my requests. This level of service is not frequently provided by electricians or other professionals and I have come to feel spoiled in my dealings with Ross, from the service people to the receptionist/scheduler who has been my most frequent point of contact. This is a quality operation that leaves its customers satisfied with all power restored.Most recently, they provided an estimate for a Stage 2 EV Charger for a new electric vehicle. Their estimates are specific and detailed and past experience tells me that there are no hidden costs or surprises. Ross Electric showed up right on time and explained every aspect of their estimate. They are good people.

    Since Covid it has been impossible to find good electricians in the area that are responsive and decently priced. Ross electric is definitely a great company. They are responsive, decently priced and thorough. I called because my thermostat’s stopped working and my heat would not turn off causing my downstairs to be a sauna! They came right away. Definitely gained a loyal customer. I’m happy with the work they did!

    A trucking company making a U-turn whacks a utility pole at our facility in Thompsonville NY at 10:30 am, call to Ross, a tech is on-site within 30 minutes. NYSEG and telecom cos replaced pole and service, Ross had new service mast & reconnected before the utility cos were finished. Cant get better service than Ross Electric - thanks guys!

    Sean has been out to our place three times now for various old-house issues, and his work is always professional, fast, and finished as neat as a pin. When he finished with a buried cable I literally could not tell that the patio bricks had ever been touched - he was that neat.This morning he traced a problem to the pole on the street. He explained it to me clearly enough that I was able to get Central Hudson out here by the afternoon, and from what they said he was 100% correct.So Ross Electric is definitely the electrician for us.

    Having had lots of work done on our home, Ross Electric has been the best people we have worked with out of the many. They updated our electrical system and breaker box, meter, and later installed a Generac generator and with every time we needed them did an outstanding neat job every time, and intend to continue using their services.     We got an EV charger installed. Chose a charger approved by Pseg. They came out quickly, adapted to our last minute changes, got the work done quickly. Got it done with minimal sheetrock damage and left the place clean. But the most important thing they did, was Lenore in the back office followed up with me for the inspection, the many Pseg requirements after the fact to get that process completed. Took forever with Pseg and still waiting for its completion, but Ross Electric always responded and helped get what was needed. Thank you.

    Ive known Ross Electric for decades. The principal told me many years ago, Look, if I come out there this Im going to have to charge you a hundred dollars. This something you can do yourself, and he told me what do do. The thing is, its always been hard to get an electrician in Sullivan County; there arent enough and the ones there are extremely busy. Ross Electric prioritizes by need: If its potentially dangerous or an emergency, theyll be there right away, as I personally experienced twice. And theyre expert and nice to boot. And their prices are fine.

    Mike was on time, thorough and professional. I highly recommend him.$162 was a little pricey for a trip charge as the diagnosis of the problem was determined but needs the gas company, not Ross Electric to rectify. So I still have the same problem I had before they came out.

I called Ross Electric and The receptionist Jennifer was amazing ! I got a call back right away, and Charlie was at my house looking to see how we can get the power back on.He tells me the power will be back on in a few days!
