This was my first time using Huft Home Services. Found them through Google reviews and decided to try them out for a couple electrical issues at my house.It was easy to set up an appointment. Henry was my tech and he did an excellent job! Very patient answering all my questions. Was able to do all the repairs I needed in a quick time and well done. Very professional, polite and knowledgeable. I’d definitely have him do work at my house again.

After meeting with several other companies and not feeling confident they knew exactly what they were doing and thinking it was a lost cause, Huft has come out twice now to my home for 2 separate issues and it was very evident from the beginning they knew exactly what they were talking about. now Ive had two things done by them with the utmost confidence. They delt with my electrical box and a whole house fan and Im super happy with their service, their professionalism and the way they can just get things done without any hassles. If you havent tried Huff yet, you really need to save yourself some time from dealing with people that just want the money to a company that actually seems to care.

This company was awesome! Due to my due diligence and as I needed a new HVAC system I set up four different quotes. The first one was from Bell Brothers and I was quoted extremely high amount between $20 and $25,000. The other two were not as high but still pretty pricey. And forth on my list was huft home services. They were the best price and deals for the money. I have a split heat pump system. Before the salesman left my house he asked if there was anything else he can do to earn my business. I let him know the amount I was hoping to get and he was able to make it happen. Felipe was the gentleman who got me my quote. They were able to make it happen, that was Friday night and I had it installed on the following Monday. Kevin and Joe were the people who installed my service and they were very professional friendly and didnt mind me following them around and talking to them for the whole day. Joe was particularly skilled at working and talking at the same time, I was impressed! So far Ive had nothing but positive experiences thank you so much! I would recommend

I am very pleased with Huft Services! Anthony Gomez was the first tech to come out to my home to inspect and get more details about what I needed. Anthony was very friendly, knowledgeable and respectful. He took the time to answer all my questions, as this was my first time purchasing a new HVAC system. Thank you Ryan Mark for going over my estimate and explaining all my options. Ryan listened to what my needs were and helped me decide what the best option was for me. Ryan provided excellent customer service and communicated well with me. Michael Ross and his two assistants installed a new heating/AC unit and all new ductwork. The guys listened to my requests, like how I wanted more airflow in the dining room and living room vs in the bedrooms, and graciously answered all my questions. They also educated me as well as answering my questions to help me fully understand. The guys were very respectful as they worked here. And we’re very quick and efficient. Due to all the fancy crown molding around the ceiling throughout my home, Michael had to custom build the housing for my HVAC filter. He did a great job!! And I love having the smart thermostat to be able to regulate the temperature at my home, even if I’m not there is amazing!!! Also Johnathan KompaI was pleasant to work with. He is knowledgeable in many different aspects of his line of work, and he is very respectful/polite. I highly recommend Huft Services as they have skilled staff all around, from the office staff to the field technicians.

I’ve been meaning to leave this review for months now but the huft install team, Matt and Daniel, came and fixed issues with our newly installed Bosch unit and installed our brand new second unit flawlessly. We just bought this house 3 years ago and knew both AC units needed to be replaced. We went with a slightly cheaper company initially to install our first new Bosch unit, to save a couple thousand but this company didn’t install it correctly, this company was trying to help and tried to fix the issues a couple times but it seemed they just were t knowledgeable as to what was going on with the unit, we continued having issues. We were frustrated and called huft back. Matt and Daniel came, evaluated the Bosch unit installed by other company and identified several issues as to why it was acting up, they fixed it that day and we’ve had zero issues with the unit since! Then we decided to have them install the second unit as well. This team knows what they’re doing, their knowledgeable, they are mindful with their work, we will only be using Huft now!

I did a whole system replacement including ducts. Huft was excellent from start to finish. Very professional, knowledgeable, courteous and also cleaned up very well when all was done. I felt really good with what was presented and offered. Trevor G. was the initial person who came and did inspections/testing and went over options, he took his time to explain a lot to me about how things worked. Very thorough, everything felt right to hire Huft as a result. Then on install days, Angel T. was the lead worker for the install. Extremely polite and professional throughout. It was a very long two days the crew were here, they had a lot of work with what I ordered. But you could tell they enjoyed the work and they did an amazing job with the install as a team. I was really glad they were the ones on the job for my project. Very happy to have selected them for my hvac replacement and upgrades 😁. Would recommend Huft they’re a solid company and I really appreciated them wearing shoe covers on and off every time they came in and out of the house, without me asking 🤣… bonus.

Huft’s plumber, Jeremy was fantastic. He pointed out and corrected several errors of previous plumbers at our property. He does excellent analysis and diagnosis. He knows plumbing, problem solving and the exactly right methods, tools, parts and materials to make things right. The best part is, once he’s finished, you forget the plumbing problems you had because everything works perfectly. You actually start paying attention to fun and interesting things instead of worrying, complaining and wondering.

I had several concerns about my old water heater that he was easily able to explain and also address future safety concerns. He also gave me several options to choose from that matched a price point within my budget. Overall I’m very pleased with my experience by both Sonny and Austin through Huft. I will be doing all future business through them!

Matt did a great job solving a HVAC technical problem that we were not able to. This was an emergency call due to the heat wave we been having. He explained every step he took to try to troubleshoot the issues, found a few that he corrected. The main issue is still up in the air, fingers crossed that he solved the main issue too. I called Huft to help find a water leak, after receiving a water leak alert from the Eyeonwater app, and Joseph Gutierrez searched as diligently as anyone could have.When he couldnt find it, Huft sent Octavio Rodriguez at no additional charge, who retraced Josephs steps and listened hard to the insights I had to offer as the home owner.Eventually, we found the leak in a long-abandoned, but still live, outdoor irrigation line. Joseph capped it under the house, so it no longer poses a risk of leakage.I am very pleased with their work and it was for a fair price.

I had my entire HVAC system replaced this past Friday and despite the sticker shock of having to do so, I was completely satisfied with the quality of service and attention to detail that was demonstrated by John and the individual that worked with him, Sean. Both individuals were extremely professional throughout the entire 10-hour process. Part of my HVAC is in a crawl space above my primary bathroom and part of it is located on the roof of my 3-story townhome. The use of a crane truck was necessary. The coordination between the two HUFT installers, the crane truck operator, and HUFT employees that delivered the new HVAC system and removed the old one was impressive. Solid teamwork was very apparent. John routinely kept me up to date on their progress, provided routine feedback as to the various system checks that were required, and provided videos of the condition of my roof (a TPO, flat type) prior to and following the installation. He effortlessly provided the necessary oversight of the entire installation endeavor. Bottom line: The customer service I received from HUFT was excellent. My new HVAC system works great. I now realize that my previous one was not functioning well at all.

I had concerns about another company that I had hired to address a drain problem. A family friend had recommended Huft Home Services so I gave them a call. Joe, the technician they sent on the first day, was very professional. He wore shoe coverings and even the cabling device wheels were covered to prevent the flooring. He cleaned up his work area appropriately. He needed to repeat two toilets and both were properly aligned and sealed. On day two, another tech, Rey, accompanied Joe. Rey, as well was very professional. The two fully explained what was going to be done and gave an estimated time of completion. They accomplished their job within their stated time frame and cleaned up to my satisfaction. I will certainly enlist Huft Home Services. They have HVAC and Electrician services as well as plumbing. I had 2 technicians come, one for AC and one for a perceived plumbing issue. The AC issue was really a filter issue, easily fixed and drainage on the roof that I already knew about. So I got away with $150 which was reasonable. They probably could have told me anything so it was great to not feel taken advantage of. The plumbing issue was a drip sound behind the wall when I used the kitchen sink for hot water. It was not a drip but the sound of pipes expanding. If the pipe behind that wall was leaking we would have definitely known before a year. I got off pretty easy. Both technicians were great, polite and friendly.

Huft installed a new AC and Heat Pump for my home. They beat competitors prices and offered better service. Even scheduled the permmit inspection. They are awesome. I would highly recommend them.

As I stumbled out of bed this morning and walk into my kitchen barefoot and I feel cold wet liquid on my toes. Turns out my garbage disposal had crack in it and was in the process of flooding my kitchen floor with sink water.I called Huft immediately and had Alexander at my house in 1 hour later. I called Huft to unclog my kitchen sink. They came out in the next hour and unclogged my sink . The worker was very professional, courteous, and polite. I was very pleased with the quick work. He gave me a very reasonable price. I asked for estimates of other things I need done and he gave me price quotes for that. Customer is an 89 year old, who often has trouble making decisions and sticking to them. There were multiple people involved--the in-home care agency, the younger son who set the appointment, the customer, the older brother to whom your workers were referred for clarification.On the surface, Ray Villes and Michael Montana came to assist with shower safety grab bars, and possible toilet replacement to meet ADA standards. The information they were given was unclear and not totally specific, as our person who scheduled the appointment did not understand what the in-home care agency was requesting.When I spoke to Ray, he was super understanding of our convoluted life that we stuck him in the middle of, and very polite and helpful. He had checked out the customers concerns, listened to ours, and accepted graciously the customers decision she wanted nothing done until she had another change of mind.My husband and I felt badly she had changed her mind and taken Ray and Michaels time and travel (customer lives about 35-40 miles from your office in Elk Grove CA).Based on the customer care and concern shown, Huft Home Services is definitely on our go-to, trusted contractor list.

Our appointment was scheduled between 7-9 am, and the crew arrived around 7:15, which was impressive as we live in Tracy and the crew came from the Sac area. The crew immediately went to work, and shortly after starting they discovered a damaged piece of equipment. Instead of trying to hide and install it as is, it was immediately brought to our attention. We were told that locating another unit was proving difficult as it was a Saturday and the normal vendors were closed on weekends. We were okay if they couldnt complete the work that day as we understand the circumstances, but they were able to locate one shortly after letting me know about the damaged equipment. They had it brought out from the Sac area while they completed the rest of the work. Install went very smoothly from what we can see. By the time they got it all set up, the temp inside the house was 92 degrees. The temperature began to steadily drop .2 degrees every couple of minutes. The system works so well, it reaches the set temp (68) mid way through the day and is maintaining it instead of running all day. My return air filter is now located under my furnace, which now increases filtration as well as the return air duct size was increased to handle the larger condenser. The crew also went to all of the indoor ducts and taped/resealed all of the registers as well as offered to install smoke detectors in the rooms of the house which we didnt need but the offer was greatly appreciated.All in all, I would have to say that so far our experience was fantastic. Top notch service and we highly recommend them!

There was an issue with our last AC unit install (the install crew was not up to the standard we are used to with Huft) but Ray came out and was able to get us a great deal on a new water heater. We were dreading having to replace our 16 year old unit, and after quotes from multiple companies, were starting to become overwhelmed. Then we called Huft, and from the initial contact with their office staff, was amazed at how well they operated. The text messages that are received prior to arrival of the employee with the technicians picture and profile was much appreciated - no surprises as to who was showing up at our home. Kris was so patient and thorough with our initial in-home quote and really helped us figure out exactly what our home needed based on our budget and all of our payment options; I appreciate that he walked us through the purchasing process and took the time to answer all of our questions so there were no surprises. Timothy was on time when he arrived to charge our existing unit in order to get us through until our new unit installation date. And our installation crew, Ken and James were AMAZING! The whole experience with Huft was great. We were interested in the seal and insulate service which includes a rebate from SMUD. Glenn was our first point of contact and was very prompt, professional, and knowledgeable. He explained the process and gave us a quote which was a good value, when comparing against other quotes we received. Jake and Quentin did all the work of removing the insulation and duct working, air sealing, and then installing the new duct work and insulation. They were very polite, professional, hard workers, and very nice. They were great at communicating what they were going to do. They went above what I expected. Jake noticed that the stove hood vent wasn’t properly attached to the vent and fixed it so it was properly attached. There were other things they noticed and fixed. Also, a shout out to the people who answer the phones and to Matthew who handles the scheduling. From start to finish, a great experience and an awesome staff!
