This was the best decision I made was to go with this company. They put in a new water heater and took my old one as well! they are very professional, extremely nice, cleans up after themselves and so on! They got to my house at 10am and were done in two hours and made sure everything was perfect before they left and cleaned up after themselves and didn’t leave a mess. I would highly recommend them. I don’t normally leave reviews on anything but they deserve it and deserve more customers because they were awesome!

OMG!! The reviews are true! This company is amazing and their customer service is outstanding. James was my tech and he is a bulldog. He worked to find the problem with my shower, to even crawling under the house. But he would not give up! He found it and had it fixed in no time. Ive had 3 plumbers out and all they did was put a band-aid on it. James fixed it! (This guy needs a raise) And the price was extremely fair. Highly recommend these guys!!!

Bought a new fridge and needed to get my water line hooked up and when we tried ourselves the connector was a different size and we needed a new angel valve because the old one broke. We called around and not only did Elk Grove Plumbing give us a quote over the phone they were the least expensive. One company sent a guy out for a free quote because they didnt want to do it over the phone and I got 2 other quotes and wanted to give this company a chance as they had the word discount in their name. Well they quoted more than double!! Elk Grove Plumbing came out on time and they were very clean, polite and friendly. Great job! I would use them again.

I had an old whole house filter that started leaking. I was able to get an assessment and quote within a few days after calling Elk Grove Plumbing & Drain. Lupe was our tech. He gave us honest feedback about what he thought we would need and made a great recommendation of adding a turn off valve to make future whole house filter changes more easy.As soon as I received my filter I was able to make the appointment for installation. Lupe arrived on time and worked quickly. He left no mess and honestly my whole house filter system looks so much prettier than I expected!He even added a spigot to properly flush the system and Im sure itll come in handy for other uses later on. Im so happy with the work!I highly recommend for their high quality work and professionalism. I will keep them in my house book to call upon for future plumbing and drainage needs.

When a restaurant looses its water heater, its not a matter of inconvenience, its a matter of closing doors until the issue is resolved. Ours was dying, about about to give up the ghost when I contacted EG Plumbing & Drain. A wonder-worker named Parker came out, assessed my situation, took 15, maybe 20 minutes to research best options, walked back into my place and said he found the best replacement heater, could be there early before opening the next morning to disconnect and remove the old heater, install the new one and be done with hot water before we opened. That was fantastic news, IF he could pull it off. And I knew what to expect to pay for heater and installation, because I have family elsewhere in plumbing and they read me list prices... But Parker found me the right heater at the right price and got the job done neat and clean and all before we opened that day. Everything was digitized and two i-Pad signatures took care of everything. When it came time to cut the check, the amount was exactly as quoted. Parker assessed my situation, knew my business needs, researched to meet those needs by finding a heater and managed delivery and removal, met my needs by completely the job on time and charged me fairly. Thats my definition of a great business... should be yours too.

Great, same day service in replacing my waterheater. Sonny was very professional, polite and answered all questions I had. Know ahead of time they accept credit cards, but require a 3% of total processing fee. That would have been a $ 70.00 fee for the visit. They do take checks or debit card.

We have used EG Plumbing & Drain for a variety of services over the last year, and every single time I am more impressed with their responsiveness, friendliness, and quality of work. Their prices are great too. Weve always been able to get someone out within a day or so, and any issues are promptly fixed. We have had at least 4 or 5 technicians come for services over time and all of them have been so nice. Today, Joe came out to address a tankless water heater issue we were having and he did a great job and provided some helpful tips for the future. Unexpected home issues can be stressful and weve had a lot going on making our lives a bit hectic lately, so I am so thankful for the quick response and friendly attitude - it made my day! He explained everything that was going on, cut the pipes, replaced the valve and was done in about 30 minutes. Very polite and professional. At 3 am I heard a loud alarming sound. It was actually coming from the backyard faucet. O_o! The only way to stop it was to turn the water on. I had to shut off the water valve to the home. This morning I got on Yelp and entered my issue and Elk Grove Plumbing and Drain answered. They had a cancellation, so I was able to be scheduled for an 8-10am service. Hung P. came to look at the issue and was able to diagnose the problem quickly and identify the solution. He repaired the issue and everything is back to normal. He was professional and respected my home. Im going to have them come back and run a gas line, so I can install a gas stove! Call them and use them if you have plumbing issues!

It was easy to get a quick appointment and Yolanda arrived on time and eager to help. She listened to me, asked many questions to figure out the problem, and did not hesitate to ask me to help test water flow, etc. Yolanda called other technicians and quickly ruled out possible issues and zeroed in on the actual problem. She kept me informed at every step and within two hours had the problem resolved, everything cleaned up and back in working order, and presented me with a shockingly low bill! I love supporting local businesses but the prompt service and exceptional care I received from Elk Grove Plumbing was outstanding today! I received a text right away that informed me the technician was on his way. James and his assistant arrived about 20 minutes after my call. Fernando was very polite, clean and professional in his trouble shooting of our problem. We have had our outdoor sink clogged for a couple of weeks until my husband could get to it, but we started to smell a bad smell and thought we had a leak under our home. After I walked him around the house, Fernando explained his plan of action with me. After about 2 hours, Fernando explained to me the problem and what he did. The technician who came out to repair leaks underneath the shower was incredible. It was literally 105 degrees, and Yolanda Alvarado was underneath my house for an entire day, replacing fixtures in my bathroom and repairing the connection where the shower and the sewage outflow had become detached. I mean, she was down there probably for 10 hours, ensuring that I would be able to use both my shower and my tub. The house is very old, and finding replacement parts for the tub was a nightmare, but she and her assistant did it -- no matter how long it took, and regardless of the less than desireable circumstances. I would recommend Yolanda to anyone seeking significant plumbing repairs. She was a jewel to work with, too. Just awesome!

Im not sure if the price was competitive or not but being a tradesman myself for over 20 years, I can spot another quality tradesman pretty quick. Having experienced some very sub par work/communication by other contractors in the past, I know just how infuriating and frustrating it can be to hire someone who either cant or wont do things right or in a timely manner. Took 3 pass to clear and Robert made sure to clean up.2 hr Update after technicians left. Drain was backed up immediately on first use. Called the office to let them know that clogged was not cleared and will need them to come back out. I will update shortly!

This would mark the second time Ive used Elk Grove Plumbing. I used them at my old house when the water heater went out and my plumber wasnt able to help me, and I used them again for my new house when the burner assembly went out.At the old house, Joe and the crew was booked up just like my plumber was, but he made it a point to fit me into the schedule the next day. Joe, himself, came out and replaced the water heater because he said, thats how you have to treat people and customers. For the new house, the burner assembly went out and he was able to diagnose the problem without even seeing the issue, but based on my description alone.Theyre a touch on the pricer end, but their reliability, workmanship, and desire to put the customers first far outweigh the slightly higher price tag. Ill definitely be using Elk Grove Plumbing again.
