I called Authority Mechanical about my pool heater. They scheduled me very quickly. Brian arrived on time and told me what was wrong with the heater and ordered the parts. He gave me an estimate. The parts came in sooner than expected and Pat came out to do the repair. He worked on it for quite a while and got it fixed. I highly recommend this business. I will call them again. They were efficient, professional and fairly priced.

Brian and Pat installed a new furnace and air conditioning unit early last fall and we could not be happier. First off they are very professional and great guys. I had been in discussion with Brian prior to purchase and installation and its rare to find someone who will spend the time discussing the pros and cons of different products, and didnt try to oversell me on a furnace or air conditioner that wasnt cost effective. He set me up with the best product with the optimum Air Conditioner SEER rating and efficiency furnace for the money. Everything he told me was what I had previously learned from doing my own research, he didnt try to sell me something that I would never recoup the savings over the cost of the units and thats rare these days where someone is looking out for your overall costs after purchase as well as before. Brian and Pat spent the entire day here and everything was cleaned up, my old equipment was called away and I didnt have to drag it to the street. These two guys are the nicest guys you will have in your home. They delt with dog who can be like a small child getting in the way. If you are looking for honest very knowledgeable service men then look no further. They are meticulous in their work, everything was done like professionals and as an ex aircraft mechanic I am very meticulous in what I do and not many people can impress me with the quality of their work and they more then exceeded that.. They also installed a much needed humidifier that I did not have on my old furnace because of the size and location, they managed without any problems, and for the first time my humidity in my home this winter is right where it should be for optimum comfort and health. Our home isnt cycling from cold to warm, the furnace works perfectly, very very quiet and our gas bills have gone down. Look no further then Authority Mechanical, as good as you will find. .

Five stars and more if it were possible! AC went out on Friday, just before a heat wave. Kathy spent most of the day coordinating my schedule around a family baby shower and the on call person on Saturday.Brian came out, met me and patiently investigated the problem. He had my system up and running with a temporary fix and scheduled me for a permanent solution.My niece told me about Authority Mechanical, and I highly recommend this company!

We had been dealing with a broken furnace for about a week & after calling Authority Mechanical, they came out and literally exhausted every option possible to fix our 21 year old furnace before letting us know it needed to be replaced. They not only replaced it that day but worked with us on providing a feasible solution. Being a relatively new homeowner, replacing your furnace is the last thing you want to do & they made it a breeze. Couldn’t be more grateful for the respect & service we received. Crossing our fingers we don’t need to fix or replace anything else in the near future but we will undoubtedly continue to use their services for anything that happens to pop up.

My friend told me about Authority Mechanical when I was looking for someone to take a look at my pool heater that has been out since beginning of last season. Tried some other businesses but they didnt even bother returning my call. I spoke to Brian and he was very helpful in coming over same day to take a look at my pool heater (helped that he was working in the neighborhood) and after inspecting and diagnosing it, he was able to get the part within few days and fix it couple days later. Thank to his professional manner and great communication we were able to enjoy the pool for the first time in over a year in a 70 degree weather! Brian and team are great! There’s a lot of companies out there that will quickly default to sell you a wildly expensive new system. Authority Mechanical does not do that and twice now they’ve found the issue and made a fix. Trust is everything when it comes to the service providers that I use, since I know nothing about HVAC systems. I’m glad I found them and I’ll use them for years to come.

If they cannot make it out immediately they will even help you troubleshoot over the phone. I have complete trust in these guys and will continue to use them for all of my HVAC needs in the future.Update 4/24/23: Since the initial review, we have had the pleasure of working with Authority Mechanical for furnace repairs, various plumbing jobs, water heater install, kitchen sink/faucet install at a house that was built in the 1800s. This means that the jobs are never straightforward but they always do quality work! They are the first place we call whenever we need work done. Love these guys!

When I bought my house I had the guys do all the HVAC work at my house too. Nov 2022 New Smart Thermostat - supposed to be consumer friendly to install - not quite...required extensive rewiring that a pro like Brian handled with aplomb. Thanks Brian.2022 AC went out with 92 degree weather - Joe came in a few hours and the house was cool again, WHEW!2020 Had my water heater decide to dump its contents on my utility room floor. Pat installed a new tank and the house was back to normal in a couple of hours (on a weekend to boot!)

Calling any sort of repair or service business can be a drag, but that is NOT the case with Pat and Brian of Authority Mechanical. They have always been friendly and knowledgeable, but most importantly they show up when they say they are going to!I was first referred to Pat and Brian to take care of an issue of A/C in my home, for which they promptly solved. Fast forward a number of years, they have worked on a number of residential projects for family in the area (heating, electric, a/c, etc). Additionally, this past year we enlisted them to work on heating and a/c for our commercial office renovation in the EG industrial Park.Id highly recommend them to anyone! Bonus they are dog-friendly and you will always have a laugh when working with them.

Authority Mechanical is my go to anytime I have an issue. They have great customer service, they explain things they are doing, and they look after your best interests. On several occasions they have been willing to provide me information on how to troubleshoot some issue that avoided having to replace a part, and they have looked to find cheaper options for parts when they could have settled for the OEM part.Today my furnace went out, and I called them and Pat was able to not only come out within 30 minutes to troubleshoot the issue, but also spent the time to find a replacement part, went to pick it up, and installed it in less than a couple of hours. He explained the issue to me, what he did to troubleshoot it, and the different options to repair it. He is super knowledgeable about repair work and machinery. Although I never enjoy having to call someone because something has broken, I have 100% confidence that Authority Mechanical will get the job done while looking out for my interests. I cant recommend them and their work enough.

Honestly wish I could give them 10-stars! The team at Authority Mechanical have been so incredible to work with and I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone experiencing Hvac issues.My furnace died on a frigid Tuesday afternoon and they had a new furnace installed by Wednesday. Thankfully we were able to maintain comfortable temps in the house by using space heaters.Why the high rating? 1) They had someone at my house within an hour to troubleshoot my furnace on Tuesday. 2) They provided pricing to repair my 14-year old furnace and to replace it. 3) The team was at my house first thing Wednesday morning to start the replacement (had to wait until the furnace supplier was open). 4) Paid incredible attention to detail when installing the furnace and venting, even adjusted the vent to allow easy filter replacements! 5) Cleaned up after themselves so well you would never know I just had my furnace replaced. 6) Dealt with my crazy cats and dog like true animal lovers. :)

Excellent installation and service! Our old furnace stopped working the day before we were to have a new furnace and AC installed. Brian talked us through how to get the it working well enough to make it through a very cold night. Pat and Joe did the actual installation the next day, and they were great--they explained the situation clearly, answered our questions, and accommodated our requests. When an unusual situation came up at the end of the installation that needed to be addressed, they stayed late to make sure everything was done right.
