    I called Mr Rooter in the evening because we had a clogged toilet drain we could not fix by plunging nor with Liquid Plumber. They dispatched a plumber who arrived within about 1 hour. Ten minutes later - problem solved. We are very happy with the result. Mr Rooter was quick, efficient, and reasonably price for an evening emergency call. Highly recommend.

    They were able to get the kitchen sink rooted quickly and quoted a minimum price that turned out to be fair. They came within an hour of the call (dispatched right away) and resolved fast without a mess.I originally called ABC, who wouldnt give a quote or a time estimate for the plumber to come out. When they finally did make it, the quote was excessive, being more than twice the price of Mr Rooter. So I rejected ABC and went with Mr Rooter.

    Todd was a wonderful technician! He was very skilled and detail oriented. My kitchen sink was clogged and he unclogged it quickly by rodding it. He also recommended using Pro-Clean to keep up with the maintenance of my drain. I would recommend Todd to anyone I know if they have a plumbing issue!

    Great service. They were quick to schedule and very thorough, both in their explanation of what was needed, as well as doing the work itself.I was pleasantly surprised how transparent they are with pricing - Jimmy took a look, quoted me an exact price, and that was what it cost. No ambiguous price ranges because it might take longer, no random overages because they needed another part, etc. They showed me a price in advance, and thats what they charged, down to the cent.5 stars to both Kerri the scheduler and Jimmy who performed the work.UPDATE 6/21/24 - Had Jimmy come to the new place for garbage disposal install and some quotes on other work were planning to do. As always, great service, transparent pricing, and he patiently walked us through all our options. Looking forward to having the work done.

    Very personalized service, beyond what was contracted for. I paid for 2 hour service, but received an extra 5+ hours no charge. Matt the owner wanted the job to be done thoroughly, and was on-site assisting.     Enrique and his partner were quick and got the main line open again for me. Matt on their team is also a wonderful guy who helped get everything all setup and kept an eye on the progress for me. Very happy with everything.

    I called Mr Rooter after 6pm when my basement toilet backed up. We worked with Enrique, Cezar and his crew. I was very satisfied with their services. They were very knowledgeable, friendly, professional, efficient and prompt.I will definitely call them again. Their prices were also reasonable.

    We were in a bind right before going on vacation for Thanksgiving. Our sewer had backed up, but Mr. Rooter came out the very next day to unclog the pipes with a hydra scrub. What they found with further inspection that the cast iron sewer pipe was on its last legs. Steve K. showed us the many places in the pipe that were nearly disintegrated. We needed a deep sewer line replacement out to the village line. They also unblocked a knot of roots that was causing some of the back up. Steve K gave us a number of options, but seeing this house is nearly 70 years old we thought it would be better to be safer than sorry. After the initial fix-up, Steve K felt that more needed to be done with pipe in the crawl space. We chose to completely replace the cast iron with a continuous line of PVC. On further inspection while doing the crawl space work Steve W found two leaks one from the toilet pipe coming down from upstairs & one other close by. Steve W worked on the outside project too and was assisted today by Rafael. They were on-time, courteous & hard working. After everything was done today I was shown pictures of what was completed. They are coming out one more time to adjust the toilet in the main bathroom by removing the last piece of cast iron so it will be more secure. From the beginning speaking with Marie at the main office, to Steve K being professional & fair, to Steve W & Rafael we are big fans of Mr. Rooter in Elk Grove for any of our future plumbing needs.

    EDITING TO ADD A SPECIAL SHOUT OUT TO ENRIQUE! He came out at 2 below and fixed a broken pipe and valve two days before our flight. Enrique and I also brainstormed ways to keep it from happening again that Ill have my general contractor tackle this spring. THESE GUS HAVE NEVER DONE A BAD JOB FOR ME!!! I cant say enough about Mr. Rooter. When our long time local plumber retired, I tried a few local plumbers and some big name handyman services. None worked out. Then, when we had basement flooding from a street sewer backup, I had Mr. Rooter install a catch valve in the front yard. They even found a location where the line dipped and should have been replaced. They installed the valve there, avoiding a second job. Thats when I learned they provided regular plumbing services and I began using them for inside jobs. When we had a line backup because of roots on our side of the catch valve, they were so responsive in their hydro cleaning and camera inspection, we asked for a five year line maintenance and inspection agreement to lock in the price and make sure we are done with flooding no matter where the issue is. I dont mind the fee being a little higher because they dont charge extra for weekends, nights, and holidays which seems to be when most plumbing breaks down. We are fans!

    Worth every penny.. Cezar and his crew came out to fix a collapsed pipe in extremely cold temperatures. Cristian and Booker did jetting work inside and outside the home. They were extremely professional. The digging crew (Justin &JJ) were very careful and did as little damage to the yard as possible given the rain and snow. The whole crew was very educated on the task at hand and I will definitely use their services in the future.

    Yesterday (Saturday) I noticed drainage from the washer coming up through the floor drain. I assumed I would have to wait til Monday or Tuesday to get a plumber here. My usual plumber didnt answer so I tried Mr.Rooter. They were able to send someone out almost immediately! Jason was the plumber and had an apprentice with him. Both men were very professional, polite and helplful. Jason knew very quickly that the issue was inside the house. I asked how he knew it wasnt past the cleanout in the yard that leads out to the sewer. He explained why but unflinchingly checked the cleanout even though he knew that wasnt the problem. Thanks Jason! Anyway, they rodded out the problem and answered all my questions. I enjoyed hearing the seasoned professional explain to his apprentice what he was doing and why; sharing his knowledge with the next generation!

    Greg was wonderful to us. He did the work of unclogging our laundry tubs and answered all our questions as he kept working. The problem had also made our kitchen drain into the laundry tubs. He explained each step he took and why he needed to do it. AND he also cleaned up after he worked completing the entire job. We thank Mr. Rooter and Greg specifically. We now have laundry tubs and a kitchen sink that drain perfectly. We are happy to have the opportunity to post this. Thank you. We must say that everyone along the way was great and very helpful and responsive. The call people were very complete in getting the correct help and scheduling it.

    Working with Mr. Rotter was a pleasure. After calling to have our sewer pipe routed, I had a very pleasant and informative with the office staff. They quickly scheduled the appointment and sent a confirmation email. Later, we received a phone call that the service technician would be arriving at our house in about 30 minutes. The service technician, J.J., arrived on time and was very cordial and informative. Before starting to work, he gave me an approximation about how long the work would take and what it would cost. I had a few questions which he answered and then went straight to work. We had a few conversations while he was working about running water and flushing toilets, etc. and everything went well. He was very thorough and efficient and cleaned up the area before he left. He was a pleasure to work with and I will be sure to call Mr. Rooter for future plumbing needs

    We had a great experience using Mr. Rooter Plumbing, not once but twice. Each time the service was great and they found and fixed or replaced everything we were having a problem with. They also did a free pipe inspection. The last job they did was a sump pump replacement and water heater replacement. Their prices are fair and the plumbers are honest and friendly. The customer service is very quick to answer your call or respond as soon as they can. I would definitely recommend them and use them again.

    My home warranty company contacted Mr. Rooter for a service call on my home. Scheduling was easy and there was communication throughout the day regarding the ETA for my appointment. The technician dispatched, Johnny, was extraordinarily respectful of my home and family and took every care necessary to follow best practices as prescribed by the CDC, local authorities, and common sense due to the pandemic. He took his time in listening to my concerns, gathering information, and assessing the layout of my plumbing as we were investigating a foul smell that is taking over one of my rooms near the bathroom. We scheduled a follow up camera inspection to look for leaks in the vent pipe or sewer lines in the home. Alas, a few days later I realized the cause of the problem was in the HVAC system. Sharon was very understanding and helped me process a refund for the deposit I had already paid for the camera inspection. I will definitely keep Mr. Rooters number saved to my phone for my future plumbing needs.

She called and informed me that he was on his wayto my residence. The seal on the disposal was broken so I agreedto installation of a new unit. Craig was very professional, friendlyand informative.     My sister was in a bad spot with a leaky pipe but Mr. Rooter was able to come out quickly to inspect. During the inspection the plumber was able to diagnose the garbage disposal was the actual culprit. It was not functioning correctly which led to a major clog. They were able to order a few options from fixing the immediate issue to a total solution including a new garbage disposal. Everything is back up and running and my sister couldn’t be happier.

    I never write reviews, but this case I feel its more than warranted. I had never used a plumbing service prior to using Mr. Rooter. I was apprehensive because of the horror stories I have heard of poor customer service & technicians. However, this was not Mr. Rooter and Team. From the moment I called - both the receptionist and dispatch ladies were so helpful in getting me setup with an emergency plumber. Chris, our plumber arrived on time and was very proactive in seeking out the problem and identifying the solution. Even with the bumps leading up to the fix, Chris remained patient and extremely helpful. He could have easily said call me when this is worked out, but instead focused on solving the problem. In addition, Chris boss (I do not recall his name) was very focused on ensuring my problem was taken care of. Several calls were placed to me making sure everything was done and there were no issues.I appreciated the customer service, quality of work and professionalism of the staff. I would recommend Mr. Rooter to anyone.

    I had a stubborn plumbing issue pop up that took me an entire morning to tackle with little success. Gave Mr Rooter a call and Nikki was very helpful over the phone. She was clear about the expectations of the tech and as promised, she called me back the same day when a plumber was available. She even followed up after the service call to ensure everything went ok.Omar came by, made sure to keep everything clean and was able to get everything up and running in no time. There wasnt any mess either which is always a plus. He covered his shoes and his tools before bringing them through my home.The only downside is that the cost was a little pricey, but they went out of their way to come on a weekend and a holiday, so I wont dock any stars there. The customer service, the integrity, the job well done, and the quality they show earns them 5 stars.

    My kitchen sink backed up 30 ft+ beyond the trap and there was nothing I could do so I called Mr. Rooter Plumbing. They were quick and on time. Erik was the person they sent out and he was very knowledgeable and courteous. After the initial visit that was only a rodding for the line the clog would not go away so we had to schedule a follow up visit for a hyrdro scrub treatment. So far my experience with the service with this company is great.

    It was great working with Chris and the other folks from Mr. Rooter. They were friendly and we and our home were treated with respect. We were given a clear estimate up front. We were able to supply the fixtures of our choice. Our requests, however small, were honored. Our questions were answered. Old fixtures were removed and our home was left as clean as they found it. Dealing with plumbing is often not fun, but this was a very pleasant experience.

    Mr. Rooter was great. They came out late Sunday night to look at the problem. Unfortunately, they are not able to fix it because the problem was bigger than it seemed. How ever, they came out the next morning. They were able to accommodate to fit me in, in an emergency. Made it on time for all the appointments. Dan arrived in the morning and gave us an estimate and explained everything well. He said that the work would be done by 5pm and we thought for sure it would take longer. Cause lets face it, plumbing is never done on time. Well, they were done right on time. Marty was phenomenal. We had a huge sewage problem, Marty was great and kept us informed of every step and every thing he was doing. He kept my nerves calm by keeping me informed at every step. They are very well informed and very professional, made us feel comfortable.

    Edward Butler was fantastic. He arrived when expected, when entering he was going to put on booties, which I told him was not necessary, as his appearance was clean and above what I would expect from any one in the trades. His personality was excellent, his work was timely and I feel he did such a good job, I have no worries it was done right. He checked all other issues to make sure they were OK, even saying that it was in great working order, not trying to sell more services. If I ever need more services Mr Rooter offers, I would not hesitate to make them my first and only call. I would also request Eddie to be the tech sent!

    I have to thank Mr. Rooter for coming out to fix my slow draining kitchen sink. I tried a few other companies first to get an idea of what it would cost.     Incredibly helpful. Mr. Rooter went out of his way to make a pleasant experience out of a disaster at home. When the sewage pipe broke and the city and insurance did not cover the repair (because it was in my front yard); we faced an expensive repair. The first plumbing company quoted us a scary quote that was more expensive than a brand new car. Mr. Rooter came and did the job for less than a third that estimate. Not only were they affordable, but also conscious of the situation and professional. The job required digging our yard and possibly breaking the sidewalk and the neighbors driveway, but they were meticulous and completed the repair in one day, only digging our yard, very clean and meeting all the citys requirements. From the very first call with the dispatcher to the last visit of the technicians; I really do not have a single complain. Their professional and fast knowledgable service, along with their accommodations to our financial limitations are among the many reasons why I highly recommend Mr. Rooter.

    Sump Pump was not working causing back-up to operate.     Unfortunately my fathers toilet had cracked and after I turned off the main water valve, I had called many people. It was very frustrating, but then I called Mr. Rooter in Schaumburg and they sent out Wade Carlson and said he would be about an hour. He was actually there in under a half an hour. He was very courteous with my elderly father and after his assessment, he gave us a spot on estimate including a senior discount for him. Of course, that made my father very happy. I felt very comfortable with Wade being there to do work at my fathers house so I had left to go back to work. About a couple hours later I received a phone call from my father telling me he had taken the old toilet out, installed the new toilet, and installed a new angle shut off valve. He also helped my father with putting the riser seat that he needs due to his condition on the new toilet to see if that was a good for him. They were so great from the time I called to tell them our problem, to the time I received a follow up call to see how everything went. If more service companies followed this model, it would be a great world. Btw, my father was worried about and ugly toilet sitting on the curb until garbage day, but Wade told me he would take it away for us. I really couldnt say enough positive things about my experience. I now put their phone number in my phone and will not hesitate to call if I need anything regarding plumbing. Five star all the way!

We have a drain that is backing up every few months. We needed to have a camera put into the pipe to see what was going on. The other companies said it would be a day or so to come out, but Mr. Rooter came out a few hours later.Wade was the service tech and he was very professional.     The two gentlemen arrived approximately at 10:00 when they arrived they went right to work they spent the time communicating conversing letting me know every step of the way what was taking place they first tackled the outside using the clean out they ran the router through a few times didnt pick up many things and decided that they needed to go indoors. When they got indoors they identified the best solution set to get a camera and a router into the line to clear it out internally they routed multiple times got images and pictures of my roast the galvanized piping and came to the conclusion that this may be just a temporary fix they rode up a suggestion on where we need what I needed to do next did suggest some options and then gave me my bill All four folks at my house that an exceptional job of communication being completely professional and also joking around and having enjoyment and the work that they were doing Great team great camaraderie and they got the job done I thank you

    Great Customer Service from the get go. Mr. Rooter came out to give our business an estimate on our broken urinal. They called the next day with a followup on the quote. Asked if we had questions...ordered the part and came out to do the job. They called to see if they could come out early. Explained what they were doing and got the job done right. Very excited about the whole process considering we called another company that was recommended. They called me a 1/2 hour before they were scheduled to be at our office and canceled. I made a special trip to the office since we have a seasonal business. I was mad! My sister read the reviews on Mr. Rooter and figured we would give them a try. Highly recommended!
