Professional, high quality results. I’ve used Kalkbrenner plumbing for decades. Always quality results.I had them come in and replace all the supply lines in my bathroom before doing a complete remodel myself. Master plumber Tom came in and we worked together pulling out my old galvanized pipes and replacing them with PEX and copper. Once he was done I sheetrocked over all holes in the walls and tiled the walls and installed new toilet and sink and new flooring.

After having tried everything we could think of to clear a clogged drain, we called Kalkbrenner Plumbing and Mike had it cleared out in a matter of minutes. Prior to commencing, though, he was upfront with the notion that he couldnt guarantee they would be able to clear the drain and the pricing was a fixed fee. That is, there would be no surprises in the billing. Winter 21-22, called a well-known, but overpriced company as boiler system didnt seem to be working correctly and house was very cold. Guy spent over an hr looking at pipes and said that system is prob air locked and needed to be drained and i would have to have all these shut-off valves installed and quoted me something like $3k-$4k to do all that work. I didnt have that kind of money at the time so my kids and i suffered through it with space heaters. Winter 22-23 same issue popped up, called Kalkbrenners this time, within 5 min of arrival they said my water pump wasnt working, 1hr and a couple hundred dollars later i had a new water pump on my boiler and a warm house. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommend them.

We decided to go a head with the work the tech he sent was a terrific young man very very professional and explain everything he was doing and what needed to be done it was a 2 day project and i couldnt believe the amount of work he did by himself up and down the stairs with old concrete double sink, buckets of mixed concrete to repair floor. Absolutely top quality company & professionals - Couldnt recommend them more!! With a 2-week old newborn at home, we unexpectedly had some major toilet issues leading to flooding at 4am - Luckily, we were able to get ahold of Tom Kalkbrenner right away (in the middle of the night!), and he got there first thing in the morning to help remedy the situation. Initially we thought it was one thing (hose from water main to toilet tank), which Tom replaced - but he stayed to test & ensure that was the only issue. Fortunately he did, because there were a number of other issues that we had going on with the seal, flanges, and cracked threads on the hose male-plug which would have led to additional slow-leaks. Tom graciously moved his schedule around to ensure we got the situation fixed same-day - and with a newborn, it was a huge relief that he made sure we were up & running as soon as possible! Going above & beyond the call, he also identified some potential issues with our boiler that could have led to failure if not taken care of - so he squeezed us in the very next day to make sure we wouldnt have any issues ahead of the coming cold snap. This kind of service is so very appreciated & Kalkbrenner has earned customers for life for their great work!!Overall, excellent quality work, fair pricing schedule, incredibly fast response time - exactly what youd want in a dire plumbing scenario!!

I am so pleased with the work of Kalkbrenners. I have had a problem with hot water supply for many years in a relatively new home. Two plumbers, one recommending an installing a new water heater at great expense, have not been able to solve the problem. The plumber from Kalkbrennrs did and I now have unlimited hot water. I had a sewer line that was repeatedly getting plugged. I had Roto Rooter out twice in two weeks to restore the flow. This worked for a few days but did not solve the Problem.I called Benjamin Franklin. Craig arrived on time and explained the process of cleaning the line and the cost up front. Craig worked fast and was very thorough in his work. The line was plugged with roots. He worked to get it completely clean and open. He used a line camera to show me what the problem was and to verify that it was open, clean and intact when he was done.Benjamin Franklin costs a little more but the price it worth the complete job and verification via camera that the line is open and intact.They saved me thousands of dollars in avoiding a costly line excavation! Would not hesitate to use them again.

I live in the twin cities with a second home in Duluth. My 22 year old Bradford White 40 gallon hot water finally died. Desperate to get it replaced, I called Kalkbrenner. Tom K stopped by my place, and recommended a new Bradford 50 Gallon tank for added capacity. Kalkbrenner did everything! I wasnt even there for install. Love the new Bradford tank Tom K and crew at Kalkbrenner. Ill happily be calling Kalkbrenner for all my stuff from now on. Thanks Tom!!!

Excellent service...arrived in a timely manner...friendly and polite...Also, being new to not only this town but also the climate...the pro was kind enough to explain to me how to operate and maintain our boiler.Highly recommend!
