    Stewart and Lucas were on time and very polite. They cleaned our ducts, vents etc. It has been over 25+ years that this had been done and with dogs throughout the years, I could only imagine. Stewart gave us feedback along with pictures of what they got out of our ducts. HOLY COW! Doing this during the winter, I was worried about how it would all work, but Stewart and Lucas were very good at quickly bringing in their equipment, getting down to business and cleaned up after themselves. Very nice gentlemen! We highly recommend these two! Very kind and helpful with our system.

    Very happy! Today I had two services with ASP/Black Goose- first I had my furnace serviced by Chris, who was efficient and knowledgeable- giving a couple tips for better circulation and for making the fan not have to work as hard. He was polite and courteous!A few hours later Stu came with the vent cleaning truck and cleaned out all of our ducts in just a few hours! He took before and after photos, and I was super impressed that the ducts looked like new. He was so nice and took the time to explain the process and answer any questions I had.Overall I would definitely recommend ASP! They also have a service plan that is well worth the low annual cost- be sure to check it out!

    Very impressed with our service today. Our Rep Nathan, was prompt, professional and extremely helpful. He quickly diagnosed and fixed our slow running toilet. We will definitely be using their services again.Update: I wanted to update our review as we had Stuart and Lucas come out to clean our vents and duct work. They were very professional and informative, their work was excellent and the pricing was very fair.

    We hired Black Goose (ASP) for furnace and duct cleaning. Deborah helped get us onto the schedule quickly and gave us the information needed to book at the best price. Stuart, our technician, was efficient, kind and very knowledgeable. From start to finish the experience was great working with the Black Goose (now ASP) team. We signed up for the yearly furnace check and cleaning so we will definitely be welcoming their HVAC services again!

We were thoroughly satisfied with the annual service performed by Chris H. on our Bosch Boiler. Chris also answered the questions and concerns we had.     ASP Duluth has done a number of projects at our house in Knife River, Minnesota. Most recently we replaced our hot water heater and toilets. Two installers, Austin and Soren, came and they did outstanding work. (Thanks guys.) They answered all our questions thoroughly and paid close attention to all the details of an installation. I highly recommend ASP for plumbing, electrical, and HVAC needs.

    Jaylan from ASP DULUTH and James were at our home today install our free standing Gas Fireplace. Both of them were very professional . They took the time to explain things because I like to ask questions. They were not in a hurry and made you feel like they had all the time in the world. Which I know they did not because of schedules.This company is very fortunate to have these two as they’re employee’s . Especially with the problems business’s are having finding people!

    I was tired of dusting and vacuuming only to see a new layer of dust within days. My daughter suggested I get my ducts cleaned. Stuart/Stewart, came with a wealth of knowledge, took pictures so I could see how badly this service was needed and went over and above what was expected. I highly, highly recommend you get your ducts cleaned (such a difference in the quality of the air in our home) and your best choice for experience and knowledge would be with ASP.

    I replaced my hot water heater and was very impressed with the whole process. I was given a thorough estimate of cost and the process. I chose ASP also because they top of the line products that have the highest quality ratings and warranties. The installation was seamless, Andy, Sorin, and Zane were professional, competent, and very courteous, explaining functions and continuing maintenance necessary for the best long term function.     We bought an old home with numerous electrical (and many other) issues. From our first appointment with Robbie, he was knowledgable, professional, friendly and highly skilled.He also took the time to explain all of the other services the company provides, and explained the benefit of their membership program to us, knowing we had a long list. We happily purchased it and have called him back out several times saving us hundreds of dollars in the last 4 months.ASP is definitely our go to when we have any electrical issues.

    Trevor (and his helper) from ASP were very informative of what we could do about the issue I had with a drain pipe as well as listened to my concerns about needing the repair done quickly.     I called on Thursday, the company had a plumber to our house on Friday. Andy N, from ASP, came into our home, took a quick look at the three issues we had, then gave us our total for the work to be done. He was knowledgeable, efficient, personable, cleaned up after himself and took all of the boxes and old equipment away. Andy also told me twice that the company guaranteed their work so not to hesitate in calling back if something goes wrong. To me that is a huge consideration since we have had work done where the technician will not come back or even call us back.The cost of work was reasonable in my opinion. I would definitely call ASP for other projects/work around our house.

    Was able to schedule an appointment online for plumbing service on a Friday afternoon for the next Monday. My tech (sorry his name escapes me!) was prompt and friendly. Immediately figured out what needed to be done and clearly provided me with several repair options and a thorough breakdown of cost before he began any work. He worked quickly and Im very happy with the work he did. While this was by no means cheap, I was pleasantly surprised with how affordable it was. I will definitely use ASP again and would recommend them to others.

    Today, Brandon and Zach provided great service above and beyond. The same can be said of the crew that did maintenance work last week ( I have forgotten their names). ASP(was Summit) has provided us with excellent service through the years. I especially like their maintenance program to keep things running smoothly. They explain carefully the issues and fixes in a friendly and professional way.A return visit this week to fix a worn out piece on our water heater, found during the maintenance check. Plumber Wade discovered something that saved us $100.00. A very helpful and patient man explaining and showing everything he did. Top notch!

    Saw the great reviews, had an urgent need on a cold, snowy weekend where it was apparent something was wrong with our heating plant, and Boom! ASP responded quickly, took care of the problem on the first visit, did it cheerfully, promptly, at a reasonable cost, and communicated well with me even though I live remotely from the house in question. Probably the best HVAC service Ive ever seen. Thank you, ASP! You took a real load off our minds. We recommend you completely, and, while we hope not to need you again, will call you right away if we do!

    I recently used ASP plumbing services to work at one of my rental properties for a leaking bathtub repair. I have used them in the past and they have always done an excellent job and could perform the work within a few days. If it was an emergency, they responded within a few hours.On my most recent job, the individual who did the plumbing work was Zack. He was excellent. I was not present at my rental unit when he arrived. He called me when he arrived, he investigated the plumbing problem, and called me with a detail explanation of the problem and what it would take to fix the problem, and described any potential problems that could arise when he actually started the work. I was well informed about the project before he started and was given a detailed estimate of the cost of the job before he started. Zack completed the project timely and professionally, and in accordance with the job estimate I had received. The only additional charge was for some unexpected parts which were not included in the original estimate. I will continue to use ASP and if Zack is available on my next plumbing job, I will request Zack. Excellent work!!

    Wonderful customer service, took them a few tries to diagnose the issue with the plumbing, but you’ll have that with young guys just learning the trades. They didn’t charge me for the multiple visits until they got it diagnosed correctly. Fixed within the day with no delay. Their subscription plan works well if you have a furnace they can service, but were quick to rectify my subscription when they couldn’t work on my old converted coal to oil furnace. I would recommend them highly!

With that, I received an annual check of my heater. Chris and Matt came today. They were exceptional! They went out of their way to explain the mechanics of my heater, the filtering system, showed me where all my shut-off valves were, and very thoroughly and graciously answered all my questions.     ASP has been saving us from plumbing disasters for 2 years now and have always been prompt, gracious and understanding. They were the logical choice for a major upgrade to our 110 year old home, the installed a new top of the line combi heater boiler in a day, and it is art! State of the art heating now with full wireless support. Of course we are having them revise the old mixed plumbing stack next, no more frozen hot water pipes on those -20 degree nights!     I love everything about ASP. They are my one stop shop for home issues. They are professional from the first office contact (Barb)and I have used them several times. Their prices are reasonable, response time is unbeatable! Last spring...... my water heater. This time the furnace. Casey diagnosed quickly, set up appointment immediately with RJ (he was there within an hour) for financing help for the new furnace. He also set me up with heat for the in-between. Nathan and David installed the new furnace and were awesome and quick, under the circumstances. From the first call to the finished product all of my questions were answered satisfactorily. All of this in just over 30 hours. I have used a few different people but have found my home!

    If I could rate 6 stars I would. My wife and I bought an older house in lakeside in need of some work. There was still a lot of old electrical in the house that needed to be modernized. It was a lot of work that had to be done. But Cameron and Robbie showed up first thing in the morning and absolutely went to town on our house and got the entire thing done in one day. Very professional, personable, and clean work. ASP lives up to the hype and if you can get Cameron and Robbie for electrical work I highly recommend.

They are always professional and transparent about what they are doing and what the cost will be. Dont know if they are the cheapest, but dont know that is what you want for the important jobs they are performing.

    After our furnace stopped working correctly, I called ASP right when they opened at 0700. They were so incredibly kind and got us on their schedule for the day. They showed up at 0845! Roy was awesome! He explained exactly what was wrong and even walked us through the basics. He went over the costs then drove across town, picked up the part we needed and had it installed by 1100. Seriously the best outcome we could have asked for.This is the second time we have used ASP in an emergency (we had a drain pipe burst a few weeks ago too) and we will continue to use their services. I recommend adding about their membership program, it is an amazing deal!

    We had a leak coming from the tub so I called ASP and Jadin was able to come the following day. He called prior to coming and came on time. He found several leaks that we didn’t know about and ended up replacing a portion of the old 1960s pipes. He gave me the option of patching up the leaks or replacing the pipes. Because of how old the pipes were, it was best for us to replace them to prevent further damages. He was very honest and we didn’t felt any pressure in making the choice to replace the pipes. ASP had a package deal which was even better. We thought ASP prices were very affordable and warranty their services. This is the 3rd time ASP has serviced our home and we will choose them each time. If you can request Jadin, I highly recommend him for his honesty, patients with all our questions and timely manner. Thank you again for fixing our leaks.

    Our water tank failed on Tuesday and on Wednesday a new one was installed by Noah and Nathan. We called on Tuesday and Sue (Susie) arranged for Noah and Nathan to stop by for an assessment.     We were pleased with every aspect of our dealings with Summit. The salesman was polite and professional and answered each of my many questions. There was no annoying high pressure sales nonsense. Our neighborhood experienced a power failure during the early part of our installation and we fully expected that Matt would need to stop working in our very dark basement. To our great surprise and delight, he continued working with a headlamp....now that is customer service. We received a very nice follow-up call about 2 weeks after installation and Giorgio made a call to verify our eligibility for a rebate from our city. He sounded as pleased as could be that indeed we qualified. Our furnace is working so well and our home is warmer than it has ever been during the time that we have lived here.     I NEVER leave reviews online. ASP is 100% worth it. I emailed them a non-emergency slow drain issue. They were timely in getting back in touch with me. It took him slightly longer than planned, but he diagnosed the problem, put in the work and had us flowing again fairly quickly. Then, Leiland and Nate came out to replace all my homes drain lines, ejector pump, and pressure tank. They did a great job. They were incredibly polite, professional, and knowledgeable; and even took the time to make sure I was completely satisfied with the end results. A few weeks later, I called ASPs after hours line when my furnace went out. Matt responded quickly and was able to come out and quickly get my furnace back up and running. He even took the time to educate me on the furnaces normal operating cycle. Matt was very polite, professional, and knowledgeable as well. I wont hesitate to work with ASP in the future.     When we were up North two weekends ago opening up our cabin we discovered a busted pipe under the cabin pouring water out. He had not told us about that ahead of time, so we were not expecting it, and he could have not said anything and just charged us the full amount but didnt.     Great customer service, they are upfront about the prices and the costs are fair for skilled labor. Peter is a good and helpful plumber, and Susie who handles scheduling is extremely flexible. My one suggestion to potential customers is that if you have a mystery sewer blockage, pay to have the camera run at the same time as you’re getting the blockage cleared. They give you a discount on the camera if they run it on the same visit, and it’s worth it to know what’s going on and have some more peace of mind.

    08/14/2020... The first time we used ASP’s services was in 2018. We used them was for several electrical, and heating jobs. Because of the wonderful job that Steve, and Travis did for us, we knew that this would be the only company we’d use, from then on. This time we used them for our plumbing. And once again, we were so impressed from the start, to finish. CJ, Jadin, and Nathan went above and beyond professionalism standards, throughout. They were all very polite, respectful, and so efficient. Whatever questions I had, they explained, and informed me on them. They didn’t leave a trace of residue, from anything they worked on, which was very much appreciated.     Asp has been amazing. Andrew and Jaden are amazing hard workers. The first time Andrew came he was very nice and was able to give us a quote to redo all our pipes. They are very professional. When a pipe broke Jaden was able to come at 11 pm to fix our pipe so we could have water. We live in the middle of no where so having a company we can turn to even when their so far is amazing!!     Trying to unclog the kithchen sink drain on my own was a huge pain in the neck. ASP quickly scheduled a repair team. Dawson, Nolan, and Austin were courteous, efficient, and knowledgeable.     Courteous, knowledge, professional. First contractor Ive worked with that actually showed up at the scheduled time for not only the estimate but also the install. And Ive dealt with 4 different companies in the past 2 years. I had to have a new water heater installed in my Grandmas house and the guys from Summit were a pleasure to work with. They did their job in a timely manner and left the work space even cleaner than it was before they arrived. The rate was reasonable and the water heater is preforming very well. Ive scheduled them to come back and do a furnace tuneup, thats how impressed I was. I only wish I had called them when MY furnace died last winter.

    Jadin came on site, and did an evaluation of our plumbing system for our secondary septic pump. He recommended us seal the system, and relocate a one way stop that was installed incorrectly to prevent some of the smells that were escaping the pump. Jadin gave me a firm price to do it for me, or simply stated what needed to be done. Due to his honesty, I had him complete the work, and it was well worth the money.     December 2021 - As I mentioned in my previous review, I will continue to use ASP. Back in December 2021 I had to replace a water heater in one of my rentals. Everyone to the office to the technicians are professional, helpful...just cant say enough good things. A company I can count on. One thing I didnt realize until I looked at their website, is the variety of services they offer. It makes it so much easier to deal with one company vs 6 for different things. I know this is late but thank you!OUTSTANDING....TOP NOTCH....EXCEPTIONAL. I have a number of rentals in Duluth and my maintenance requests can cover the spectrum. It has been my experience that it is hard to find people that are accountable, affordable, and accommodating, let alone work on rentals. This was the best experience I have had in the last 14 years. I called a number of companies. Some never called back. Some seemed irritated at my call. I called ASP Plumbing and they indicated someone would call back within a certain time frame. I thought to myself, here we go again moving on to the next company. To my surprise, they called. They were more than accommodating and pleasant and actually got me on the schedule within a day or 2. Work was performed timely. Steve called to make sure I was satisfied with everything. Steve made it feel like a 14 year relationship instead of a first time job.     I have been meaning to write a review here since late Fall when ASP worked on our furnace after we installed a Gas furnace , replacing our propane tank. What a wonderful company to improve our house with! Im just starting to learn about things after moving in recently and they were so helpful right from the start of the phone call. We were fortunate enough to have a gentleman named Leland Carlson from their company over to do some maintenance work. Not only did he do a great job, and respect our house from the moment he walked in the door, he went over so many important things to know about our house that we never had any clue about. He was open to any question we had as well as directed us about ways to save money on heating, and just maintain our house to the best ability we can do. We learned so much in the short about of time he was there and really appreciated his patience of explaining anything that confused us. If youre looking for a respectable place thats gonna leave you with good memories months after they were there, look no further.     Well done Summit, well done. We had a new hi-efficiency gas furnace, AC and all new ducting installed in our late 50’s Duluth home. What made working with Summit a great experience was that they listened to what I wanted to accomplish with this project. The old furnace and ducting was a total inefficient mess with only one cold air return and only a few heat registers to heat the house. Matt came in and worked with me to come up with a design that by relocating the furnace would work in our finished basement for running the main trunk lines without infringing on our already minimal overhead space. Chris and his team came in and executed this plan, making sure I was happy with how the transitions were occurring from room to room so that I can go back and complete the refinish of the ceiling and walls (this is a project I started a year and a half ago by tearing out sections of the current ceiling to run ducting). When I asked or pointed out something out that could be an issue with the refinish Chris took the request in stride and did whatever was necessary to ensure he met my needs, I can’t say enough good about his professionalism and attitude. The final result of their hard work is incredible! The furnace has been running a couple of weeks now, the entire first floor and the basement are very comfortable. The furnace is working as it is designed now that it has 4 additional return air ducts and heat ducts in all of our rooms. Others came in and looked this over but I couldn’t be happier with my decision to choose Summit.

    Needed a new hot water heater and they installed it very professionally and in a timely fashion. However a few days after installation, I noticed that the new hot water heater was bigger and blocked access to the large air filter for my furnace. Not being able to change the air filter was an issue, but dealing with ASP plumbing was not. They quickly came over and moved the water heater to allow access. Very pleased with the initial installation and very, very pleased with how quickly they responded when a change was needed. Would hire them again.

    I recently had the pleasured of working with ASP Summit Mechanical Inc to replace a section of sewer line that had deteriorated in my building. I initially contacted them out of desperation because of a sewer back up that required immediate attention. They were the only company in the Twin Ports region that were able to sneak me into their schedule and were by far the most customer service oriented.Their techs were able to unclog the line before my basement flooded and informed me of the issue with the plumbing that caused it, their office was able to provide me with a quote to replace the line within a day, and their crew was able to replace the section and patch the floor all within 1 week of receiving the quote. Constant contact as well as flexibility from ASP made this so that business and residents in my building were minimally impacted for which I am very grateful.Incredible customer service from every staff member I interacted with, excellent quality of work, and all at a reasonable price. I will definitely be working with ASP Summit for future emergencies as well as planned upgrades to plumbing infrastructure in my building.

    I called ASP plumbing due to an emergency septic line leak in the upper floor apartment of a duplex I own.
