I bet you’ve never seen a 5-star review when a job has gone wrong…so buckle up! We had Courtesy out to fix a leak in our bathroom this past summer. Well, they missed a spot- and the leak caused some mold damage this autumn behind the wall- which was shared with our only other . Not only did they IMMEDIATELY admit fault (despite the fact that we would not have known it otherwise), but called in all the necessary contractors to remediate the problem and replace both tiled walls. Every professional that was brought in was friendly, polite and hard-working.They even put us up in a hotelfor the night we would have been without a shower. The work was finished today and our bathrooms honestly look better than before. Not only that- we never had anything but friendly, warm communication from the business owner. Courtesy is the perfect name for this class act of a business. 6/5 stars!

I called when I woke up yesterday morning and my basement was flooding. The gal on the phone was super helpful, even though the next available appointment was not till 3 in the afternoon. She promised shed keep me at the top of the list if there was a cancellation or someone finished early.Thank goodness the technician was running early that day and made it out by 11 am!! He was able to quickly assess what parts of the system were in terrible shape and we chose to go with a new pump. He had the pump in the truck and was able to install the entire thing quickly and professionally.I will be using Courtesy Plumbing and Heating for some of the other HVAC work I need done because I was very impressed with the speed and quality of the work performed.

Awesome team!From the start respectful and understanding not just another customer. We got cut off the same person called me back, as we were setting up the appointment my battery died.. Hour later I called back got someone in the springs he found my info and the previous person had saved my scheduled visit confirmed and waiting to get that last bit of info. Their service tech took the time to be personable.. because lets face it were all careful when it comes to hiring a company to work on our homes. What I appreciated from start of of the appointment was that they took the time to do it right! Not just quote me and go, if something is important it shouldnt be rushed. After going through a few different companies and having bad experience with business’s elsewhere, they were able to help me with my needs and provide great service and quality. After explaining my problems and concerns to the staff members and after the repairs were made the manager Frankie reached out and made sure everything was up to par and working as it should be. Great people and great service. Will be using them for any future needs.

They were incredibly helpful and patient when replacing my water heater after the bottom rusted out. My parents do not speak English well and the two workers sent out were very helpful explaining things and making sure everything was understood. The reason for a 4 star is that I did not have Affordable Plumbing & Heat perform the repair as the quoted price was more than i was expecting and willing to spend on a non-critical repair for an outdoor hose bib replacement. Otherwise, the customer service was great. It was easy to make an appointment and the technician was very respectful.

The entire installation team were very professional! Isaac, Eddie, Mike and Justin were amazing! We have never had a more friendly and courteous team! They worked their butts off! They replaced our furnace and air conditioner in 1 day! We have had other contract work done to our house in the past and these guys outshined them all. They far exceeded our expectations and then some! We would highly recommend them for any heating, air conditioning and plumbing needs! We also want give a shout out for their sales rep Aaron too. He talked to us and answered every question we had. When all was said and done he gave us a great deal!

We had our whole house done, heater, air conditioner, electric work, a new water heater. The crew that affordable sent out was amazing. They were all super respectful, friendly, and so professional. No one ever left a mess, everyone cleaned up after themselves. They even took time to answer questions from my son about what they were doing and give my husband advice on other projects in the house. I would highly recommend this group to anyone who needs their house worked on, whether it’s an emergency or routine maintenance.

Unfortunately needed a few different plumbing repairs, and Affordable Plumbing & Heat were recommended by our neighbors. Simple process to set a date and time, with reminders of our appointment. Our technician, Gavin was superb- showed up on time, with a text notification, listened to our issues, identified the problems and explained the repairs (water pressure regulator, a leaking pressure vacuum breaker, failing pressure release valve at water heater). He ran out to get the necessary parts, and when delayed by traffic the office called to let us know he would be a little later than stated. When he returned he quickly fixed all the problems. Gavin and the Affordable Plumbing & Heat team are terrific!

I am an electrical contractor. While on the job site one of my electrician was drilling through a stud and did not realize there was a water pipe on the other side. You guessed it, he drilled into it causing an instant shower. We got the water shut off quickly with minimal water damage but now we faced the prospect of getting a plumber out to repair the pipe at 4:30 in the afternoon so as to not leave the customer with no water for the night. I called Affordable Bel-Air Plumbing and Rachael answered and was very pleasant but did not know if they could handle an after hours call. She said she would check and call me back. With in minutes she called me back and said she could have a plumber out right away. She quoted me pricing which seemed very fair, took down the address and said she would dispatch the crew. Shortly there after Cody called to get more details as to the problem and said he would relay the information to the plumber en-route and that they were 6 minuets away from the customers house. The plumber arrived, fixed the pipe promptly and charged a fair price. Start to finish it took about 45 minuets. They were very courteous, professional and fair. I now have a go to plumber for all our future needs.

Such a great experience with this company! We are a first time home buyer and had issues with sewer backing up. The office was very friendly to call and quick to setup an appointment. They gave us a call to confirm the window that day. Honestly, they were a bit late compared to their window but did call to let us know beforehand and were sincerely apologetic. Austin was incredibly knowledgeable and saved us $8,400 in the end (Previously company gave us a ridiculous quote, wanting to rip out all of our sewer lines for what ended up being a very simple and small issue) So thankful I called them!

I have made two emergency calls to this company, one in June and one yesterday. The June call was to have an estimate on AC installation after a storm took out a 75ft Blue Spruce that landed on top of a shed crushing my Evap cooler and the second was for a Furnace that stopped working. I was taken care immediately on both calls.Jeff provided the estimate for the AC installation in June and couldnt have been more caring about my situation from the storm. He went above and beyond trying to get me help to repair the damage to the side of my home and removal of the evap. cooler.I got lucky, because this company also employs Ryan, a general contractor who truly knew his stuff. He repaired the siding, removed the cooler and reinforced the inside of the shed the cooler had been sitting on. He was very professional and got it all done in less than a day.After calling yesterday for what I thought was an AC malfunction, Marvin, HVAC tech was sent and found my problem to be a worn out furnace fan and motor. He replaced the furnace yesterday working diligently to get it done so I could have my AC back working. He was professional, pleasant and timely.Kristopher, the GM of Affordable Plumbing and Heating, delivered my new furnace. While he was here he found some minor issues with the AC installation done in June and immediately addressed them with me and scheduled a day Marvin could come back.Did I check around for pricing with other companies. No. Did I get second estimates. No. I was so happy with the great customer service I received for beginning to end, that I didnt need to. Then amount of work that was done was time consuming and the pricing was very fair.Kudos to Affordable Plumbing and Heating. I highly recommend.

They could have billed us for a new one, but instead figured out the fixable problem, and thus saved us about $3000. They were ultra kind, extremely clean, and determined to find the correct problem - great technicians and a blessing to us! I will continue to call them for all plumbing services.

Non-emergency call to repair sprinkler system valve. Appointment made for two days after initial call. Technician arrived within 25 minutes of start of two-hour window. Sized up leaking valve, showed me cost difference between fixing one old valve and replacing entire valve assembly (including backflow). Went with replacing all. Took him about 30 minutes. Job looks very professionally done and no longer leaks. Ive used Affordable previously and theyve never disappointed.

I broke the mounting flange when I was replacing my toilet and called Affordable Plumbing for a repair. I got same day service and the repairman, Gabe Atwell, did a great job explaining how he could fix it with a flange repair kit. Which I didnt know even existed. I wasnt super happy when I broke that flange (cuz you know, toilet repairs) and was glad he could fix it without having to get into a major repair effort. Thanks Gabe!

He explained how A/C airflow works and how temps can be affected and how frosting can occur. He then checked the unit outside and found it to be performing as it should be. I had a shower/bathtub drain that needed replacing and there was no access from behind or below the tub. I called Bel Air and asked them how much it would be. The guy came out to quote me, and he thought they would have to cut a hole in the drywall. The next day the guy came out (even arrived a little early) and got it out without having to cut. They ended up charging me a fourth of what they quoted (which seemed reasonable to begin with). The only reason I am giving four stars is he didnt have a replacement part with him.

I came to town to take care of my mother, who recently fell and broke a few bones. Within the first week of arriving, we didnt have hot water. I called Affordable to come and take a look. Scott Jeffers and his son were here the next day, and determined we needed a new water heater. They replaced our water heater that day, for a surprisingly affordable rate. Scott and his son were kind and professional, and worked around our mess.The next week, the floor drain in our basement began draining extremely slowly, especially when using the washing machine. For many years, our floor drain has backed up when using the washing machine, to the point where we had to pause the drain cycle several times to prevent a full-on flood. We would usually have to pause the cycle for about 30 seconds to allow the back-up to drain before allowing the cycle to continue, and wed have to do that about 4-5 times in one drain cycle. But this time, instead of taking 30 seconds, it was taking 7 minutes. I called Affordable again, hesitant, expecting the worst. Ryan Abeta came and cleared out a secondary drain pipe, which seemed to help considerably. Unfortunately, the wire on his machine broke, and he wasnt able to inspect the floor drain. Scott Jeffers and his son came back to finish the job a few days later. They determined that our floor drain had clogged and solidified, likely due to 15+ years worth of cat litter build-up. They offered us two solutions--the first, a cap on our floor drain that would not allow water to rise but would allow water to drain; the second, jack hammering the cement and replacing the drain. We opted for the cap, given that wed just purchased a new water heater. Scott and his son didnt have the part on hand, so came back a couple of days later. Unfortunately, the part theyd brought didnt fit our drain, so they went above and beyond and brought a part that would fit later that evening. Now, we have absolutely no issues with our floor drain, and no longer to need to stop the drain cycle mid-cycle to prevent flooding!Scott also provided us a quote for what it would cost to replace the floor drain, which would include jack hammering the floor, replacing the drain, and filling the floor again with cement. Like the water heater, it was for far less than we were anticipating. When we do get ready to replace our floor drain, we will definitely be calling Affordable!Thank you Scott, and thank you Affordable!
