Very thorough and neat. He had the job done within a few hours. Cost was within the estimate. Jeremy also checked another circuit I was having trouble with. Fixed.Very professional and reasonable price.

    The prices and skills of electricians in FL is all over the board. Positricity was recommended on the Nextdoor app. I have paid service fees from $69 to $179; upfront to even have an electrician come out to my house. The communication of when the electrician would show up was great. I received information as to his exact timing. Derek W showed up to my house reviewed the items that I needed to have done and provided me with a quote. It was a Friday afternoon, and I never sensed once that he was rushed or that he didn’t want to be here and he proceeded to take care of the items that needed to be addressed. I had a unique situation of two main breakers at different amps, which he found the answer and resolved. Additionally, I had 2 plug-in play smoke detectors, which I had already purchased installed and some unprotected wiring to be corrected to code. I always like to know costs and it was $88 for each smoke detector to be replaced and my total bill was a little under $700 without the service charge. It was a positive experience getting electrical violations corrected for my 4-point inspection.I have also had John and Tim as electricians w the same positive work attitude, competence and end results.     Ive used Positricity twice and I have been very happy both times. I called them Monday morning at 7:30am with an issue that happened over the weekend. I got a call center, but I left a message with them and was told that the main office opens at 8am. At 8am on the dot, I get a phone call saying the tech will be at my house in 20 minutes. The tech was exactly on time and spent a good 45 minutes diagnosing my weird issue with a circuit glitch. He identified the problem and fixed the issue quickly. I also asked him to replace a loose light switch while he was here. I am very impressed by their customer service and workmanship. I will definitely use them again if any other issues arise.

    Will was extremely professional and well informed. He was able to resolve our light fixture issue within minutes and also fixed a fan switch that had long been a problem.     We would highly recommend Positricity. Jeremy did a dangling light installation a few years ago, we were very happy to find out he was still there.We needed a outside garage light installation and had no idea why the reading lights in the pier system for the bed went out.Not only did he diagnose the problem with the lights in a few minutes, (the switch), but we wanted an outlet in the garage added on as well.He not only arrived early, but ran to home depot for parts - he did the switch for the overhead bed lights, the garage light (dusk to dawn with bright/dim) and installed a new 4 plug off the breaker box quickly and professionally. Done in under 2 hrs.They will do the job well and economically for whatever you need done professionally. Well definitely call them for our next project.

    This whole experience was fantastic!!We called Positricity and had installed two outside coach lights replaced, and two ceiling fans replaced and installed. Our electrician was not only professional and did all projects perfectly but was kind and friendly. I wanted one of the ceiling fans with the blade color turned to the grey side and without asking he just went upstairs and turned those blades as well grey side down. I was okay with it the first way and I failed to ask for the grey side down so I didn’t mention it but when he knew it was my desire to have the blades of the fan turned to the grey he in a flash just did it! I was so impressed by his attention to detail plus he didn’t leave it after the first fan was installed he went back after he installed the second fan! Amazing!!! Everything works and looks beautiful! I will call Positricity first for any and all electrical needs I may have in the future. Great pricing and extremely kind customer service! A great and wonderful company! A plus in my book!

    Jeanet and Matt could not have been nicer or more professional. I hired them to install and new fan and one of the parts that came in the new fans box was damaged. They waited for me to run to Home Depot and come back with the brand new part.     Mike Tracy and Ryan B. Were fantastic on their appointment to fix all of the outlets and again on the breaker box. They were so kind and courteous with our time in respect to work from home. Everything was clean and looked better than what we came into. The Palms, formerly Turnbury at Countryside, owe a great deal of thanks to you for protecting their residents. The directions and words to explain how it works was a nice addition to someone who wasnt sure about how to operate the new breakers. Overall, this was my best experience I have ever had with electricians and I used to do construction.

    We just bought a new home and needed a quote for the electrical work needing to be done. We contacted a good 15 electrical companies and this was the only company that actually responded and would send a tech out to check everything out. Keith was our electrician that came out and he was AWESOME! He explained everything that needed to be done and seemed to be very honest and extremely knowledgeable. Once we close on the house and are in the home we will be contacting Keith to do all of our repairs needed. Great job and I recommend this company to anyone needing electrical needs in the Pinellas County are.Update: We requested Keith to come back out to our house once we were moved in to fix some of the issues that were on our inspection report and he went above and beyond yet again. He was very knowledgeable, friendly and made us feel comfortable while he worked. After the work was done we felt like the work was done great and our family feels safe in our house regarding any electrical items in the house.     After using Positricity once before for a somewhat complex rewiring job in my home, I didn’t hesitate to call them again when I needed to install a 50 amp outlet outside for my RV. As before, they sent an extremely qualified and polite electrician named Will to solve my problem. After explaining exactly how and where he intended to mount the outlet, Will assembled all the necessary equipment and performed the install of the outlet and corresponding circuit breaker quickly and efficiently.     Four things: Stephen, the electrician, was a gentleman and a pro. Number two the work was well done and first rate. Number three the price was fair and all pricing details were disclosed up front. Four: We had a bad experience with a major company H, out of Tampa. They blindsided us after arriving with all kinds of additional fees including diagnosis & a $99. Ladder Fee with a final total for replacing one backyard floodlight of over $700. Positivity, final bill, $154. Total. Great experience. So happy to find honest competent people.

    Ive used Positricity personally several times and found them to be extremely timely, professional and affordable. Recently, one of my clients was in dire need of a panel upgrade in 11 condo units. Their electrician informed them at the last minute that they were unable to complete the job by the insurance companys deadline. This wouldve resulted in substantially higher insurance premiums and deductibles. I called Positricity who was able to get someone out the next day to take a look at the job, and the following day they had 2 techs out there working diligently to get this done. This is service that is extremely rare these days. They accomplished the rush job for my client, which seemed like an impossible feat, and for a reasonable cost. I cannot recommend them enough and will be using them for many years to come. Thank you, Positricity!

    Positricity was able to send out an electrician next day to help fix the 220v line that ran our AC. The electrician was great - he fixed the problem immediately, and even gave us a very reasonable quote on replacing our ancient fuse box with a modern breaker box. No complaints whatsoever - I highly recommend them!

    Jeremy came out and inspected our situation and came up with a solution and estimate on the spot. We agreed to do the job and he started right away. He worked all day outside in the heat and completed all the work on the dock wiring. He came out another day, exactly when he said he would, to complete the other work. Upon removing the panel to the meter to install bonding, he noticed a serious problem with the wiring from the power company. Its amazing there was not an explosion or power loss. I called the power company and they tried to stick me with the repair saying the words from the street are the homeowners responsibility. Jeremy didnt think this was correct and got on the phone with them and explained how there was a bad splice performed and the crimps were power company crimps (something I would not have noticed). He convinced them it was their problem after explaining the situation to a manager and a power company truck showed up 15 mins later. The repair was done the same day by the power company at no expense to me. If Jeremy had not dealt with and convinced the power company to repair the problem, I would have a major cost and a lot of hoops to jump through to deal with the issue, never mind a blackout period in my house over a weekend with 3 kids inside. I highly recommend theta and Jeremy if you want a job done right and promptly.

    We initially hired Positricity to inspect the work of another electrical contractor we hired that we suspected was not performing the work to code. Positricity sent Jeremy out to do the inspection. Jeremy confirmed our suspicions with a detailed explanation and pictures. We then hired Jeremy to redo and correct the electrical work that he inspected for us. We have since had him come back an do more electrical work for us. Jeremy has gained our trust because he is patient, honest, explains everything, gives us available options, and does what he says he is going to do. He leaves everything clean and tidy when the job is finished.

    Ive used Theta Electric twice now for a variety of electrical issues. Setting the appointment was very easy. Both times they came out quickly with no long lead time. The electricians arrived on time and were knowledgeable. Their approach to charging a preset amount based upon the actual job came in very handy, as my clients knew exactly how much they would be charged for the work. Both electricians went out of their way to explain what they were doing and to be helpful. Very good experiences both times.

    We hired Theta Electric so they could run some computer cats/drops for our new practice. When I say new, I mean a new build out. The first thing I noticed about the tech they sent was 1. Friendly. You would expect everyone to be friendly right? Not so much anymore. This tech was. 2. Informative in what he was going to do. And kept me in the loop. and finally 3. He stayed until the job was completely done and made sure the cables worked. I recently had an experience with a different company where that did not happen. I told my boss that we need to keep this companys info for any future needs. Whether for our own homes or for recommendations.

    We had a great experience using Theta Electric for our move into a new office building. I called them a week prior to our move, during a time when they had a lot of other work scheduled. Theta went out of their way to make sure they were available for multiple projects we needed before we could move in. We had 3 of their electricians work for us at different times and all of them were very professional and courteous and cleaned up all materials, etc when they completed their jobs. This is the second time we have used Theta and we have been really happy with the quality of service both times. I will definitely used them again in the future.

    We have used Theta Electric twice and have been very happy with the work both times. We initially picked Theta Electric from an Angies list offer to mount an external power outlet for $99. Calling and setting up the service call was incredibly pleasant and the electrician, Josh, was able to come out quickly. Josh was very professional and polite, listened to my proposal for the outlet, evaluated our (1951) homes electrical status and then made his own suggestions based on our needs. Im glad he did because he advised me our home, which we had just purchased, did not have a whole-home surge protector. He then completed the job quickly and neatly - even sweeping up after himself.We liked the first interaction so much that we scheduled another service call, requesting Josh again, to install a second receptacle for new tankless water heater. After explaining my needs, Josh once again suggested a better approach that both saved me money and leveraged an existing, unused power outlet. As with the first visit, the upgrade was handled efficiently and quickly with no issues.I am happy that I found Theta Electric and am sure we will continue to use them as we remodel our home.

    Jeremy did a noteworthy job. He showed up in the service window and called me about a half hour before he arrived to confirm. He was polite and very professional. Sean, the owner, told me all his staff have been background checked which was reassuring. Joshua, my Theta electrician called to let me know when he would be there; arrived on time and while friendly and pleasant immediately reviewed my job. He had a professionally prepared price list and it clearly showed the cost of installing my small chandelier. After adding my service fee and discounting a coupon I had available and being assured that I felt the price was fair he then efficiently and safely completed the job. I am very pleased with his work. We discussed the details before he started; he gave me good advice about the level to hang the light and clearly explained how he could do what I wanted. This was my first time using Angies List, where I came across Theta Electric, and I chose the upgrade, which was almost twice the price for the 4 ceiling lights I purchased, but that was my choice. I do enjoy the new lights which I had installed in my kitchen, exactly where I wanted 2 of them placed, leaving the other placements at the discretion of the electrician, who took the time to measure and make sure they were even and looked perfect.

    I just purchased a house, there were some things I needed sorted out from the inspection, and some other work that needed to be done. I was getting a pump/well irrigation system so I needed power upgraded at one switch, and I had a water softener that needed permanent power (extend outlet). There were some other small jobs not worth mentioning.The appointment process was easy, and they were even able to work me into the schedule for the next day.Keith showed up on time, and the company even sent an email with a picture and bio (and did a courtesy call when he was en route).Keith found out everything that I needed done, inspected everything, and got me a reasonable quote. He got to work right away, and finished the job without leaving a mess.He solved all my issues and I have no doubt the work was done right.I would definitely use them again, and recommend.UPDATE: I had an issue with the weatherhead being damaged due to a tree falling, they scheduled a time to come out (non emergency) and got me fixed up the same day. They even worked to save me as much money as possible on the fix, without just spraying parts and costs at me.

    Will was awesome! The whole company is awesome! What I thought was an internet issue (had spectrum out) ended up being a power issue. Guys from spectrum told me I needed a electrician and that my house could catch fire. That sent me into complete panic. I called positricity in panic and crying, they probably thought I was a wacko lol but they sent Will to my house. He ended up finding that it was the line from the pole to my house and it was on duke energy to fix.P.S this was my second time using this company.     Ryan is awesome. He saved my kids and I today from being without electricity (and WiFi), and stayed pretty late to help us get some temporary wiring in until we can have more replaced next week— had he not gone the extra mile for us, MANY deadlines would have passed without completion for my work, and my daughter might have failed the school year because she had to have a huge amount of work done by that day (it was a bigger deal than I can articulate). Ryan’s kindness, professionalism, and work ethic made our lives possible this week— which is the most stressful week we’ve had all year— so I can’t say enough good things about Ryan and our experience with him and Positiricity. He came here with what I’m sure had to be a strange situation— our water heater valve popped off, causing it to leak all over our wire and breaker box. It caused the power to go out in most of our home (as well as water to be turned off and of course WiFi was out), but thanks to Ryan, we were only without power (WiFi and water) for several hours— he stayed with us and kept working until our home was back in working order. I couldn’t be more grateful for his time, expertise, and dedication to doing his best so our lives could go on as needed. Seriously, y’all have a wonderful employee in Ryan— I know times are tough right now, but please give him a raise— he really went above and beyond for us, more so than anyone has when answering a service call at our house. I’m pretty sure that’s just how he is, and though I’m sure all your employees are great, Ryan is who we would want here for anything electrical!
