There were several different electrical problems that needed attention at the house in Tarpon Springs. Dunedin was recommended to us. It was a great recommendation. We enlisted the services on Dunedin Electric to add some additional outlets in our home and they were outstanding. Given the fact that a major hurricane had just hit the area I figured we’d be moved to the bottom of the priority list as we were just having some additional outlets added. They kept the appointment. Dunedin Electric is an amazing company! The woman in the front office was so helpful. She went out of her way to make sure we had service as soon as possible when she found out the outlet to our stove wasnt working. The technician, Parys, was wonderful! Parys and Kieth arrived on time as scheduled. We had several jobs that needed to be done over a 2-day period. We had several GFCI receptacles replaced and converted 3 ceiling fans from swag power to wire mold fan box power. Also, we had to have a chandelier light fixture raised up a foot or so. I could easily see they put a lot of effort into completing these tasks. They were efficient, polite, and professional.After completing the jobs my ceiling fans had a nicer cleaner look. I feel safer now with the new GFCI receptacles they installed which I really should have done years ago. My chandelier light now provides better illumination and is aesthetically more pleasing!I can’t thank Parys and Keith enough for the outstanding results. Thanks Dunedin Electric, they are keepers!

Dunedin Electric was a life saver. Power went out to our Clubhouse and they were out the same afternoon. Diagnosed the problem and had a quote to me within hours. It was a major job requiring new lines to be run and the crew was here at 7:00 am to start the hard job of digging a new trench, laying conduit and pulling new lines to the clubhouse. The crew was fantastic and busted their humps to restore power as quickly as possible. Scott was great to work with through the whole process and the clubhouse power was restored faster than anyone thought. Great Job Dunedin Electric. We would highly recommend.

We recently had electrical issues with our appliances and the lights over the weekend. Normally we would call Dunedin Electric but noticed on Google that they werent open. Unfortunately, we called another company that was open 24/7. The technician came and wasnt very good considering that he left and then had to come back the next day because parts of house, the wifi and some lights werent working. Apparently, he didnt turn on all breaker switches before he departed. But the worse part was trying to convince us that we needed to replace the electrical panel, saying it was old and unsafe. That would have cost over $4,000. He was very pushy, trying to get us to do it and wanted us to give him a $1,000 deposit upfront. Feeling this was a red flag, we ended up getting a second opinion from Dunedin Electric on Monday. Tom the Technician came and noticed some of the electrical work from the other technician was subpar. He redid the repairs but his next part is where he shined. Tom said the electrical panel didnt needed replacing. In fact he said he has the same one at home and they are good quality panels. So thank you Tom and Dunedin Electric for being professional and most importantly, honest.

I have had two experiences with this company. In both cases the electricians that came to my home were prompt, professional, and creative thinkers. I had projects bid by other companys and they always left a feeling that they were going to make a mess of my wall or ceiling and leave it to me to hire another contractor to fix. Dunedin Electric came out, provided me options and told me exactly how we could get the job done the way I wanted it with limited damage. Their concern with the finish project during the bidding process is what made me want to work with them initially.Most recently an electrician named Rick came out to install an outlet for my TV. He assessed the situation and got the job done. I didnt have Dunedin Electric price the job beforehand because they were billing me on a time basis and from previous experience they were going to work diligently to get the job done quickly. Rick came out and completed his work in just over an hour (installing an outlet on a concrete wall takes some extra time). He moved quickly and left no damage or mess.Prior to calling them, I received a phone quote from other companys in the range of $250 - $300 for the same job. They wanted me pay a minimum to have them come out and look at the work before giving me a solid price. I paid close to half of the phone quoted price and got the work done quickly and exactly the way I wanted it. I recommend them to anyone I know getting work done. They are profession, fairly priced, and get the job done. I have never felt I was being nickel and dimed like I (as a single woman) do with most contractors.

ADDENDUM:I have to make a correction to this earlier review. It seems there was a misunderstanding regarding the date of service. As this wasn’t clearly communicated to me originally (obviously, thus what I wrote below) I am still docking them one star though I am aware of the possibility that the confusion could have been on my end as well as Dunedin Electric. At any rate they came out today, on time after an earlier call to let me know they were coming (all welcome and expected). Jim came out and was a consummate professional. My issue was resolved quickly and with plenty of time left on the clock. Jim then explained to me how to reset my GFCI switch (the main issue) and after a nominal fee he was on his way. Well done Jim and Dunedin Electric. I was glad there was an opportunity to make this correction.-SteveI had been warned by the previous occupant who’d also had a negative experience. Working with Duke Energy’s home wiring program I was told that Dunedin Electric was going to call and then come out and resolve my electrical issues. They called. After 2 days. Anyway, an appointment was then set with an 8:00 – 10:00 window. I was ready for them at 8:00. By 10:00 they still hadn’t shown up. Or called! I then had to leave for work. Who does this? Oh that’s right, Dunedin Electric. Now you’ve been warned. And I’ll be working with another contractor.
