Andrew and Jacob are the best.My wife and I love throwing parties and decorating for Halloween. When our collection exceeded what our house could support we called Luminous. We were so lucky to get Andrew to be our lead electrician. He listened to what we needed and had great suggestions which not only fixed our immediate problems, but also allows us expand.When our disconnect date came, Andrew and Jacob arrived before FPL and made quick work of our 200 Amp service upgrade. They replaced the main breaker box (which was an old 100 amp panel) and added an additional panel outside with extra circuts. We also asked them to run a line to our backyard for our parties. Halfway through installation it started to rain but they pushed through and the end result was beautiful. It is comforting to know that the electrical in our older house is powerful and up to code; plus it adds to the property value.Would definitely work with Andrew again in the future. He and Jacob were friendly, professional and extremely knowledgeable. 100% Recommend!

Ive always experienced responsive high quality reasonably priced service and after the recent horrific storm I reached out they were there to get me fixed up. They were on time as scheduled, very courteous, and completed a professional installation. 2 weeks later Andrew and Jacob came out again to install electric to a new hot tub, and surge protection, with same excellent level of professionalism. Best service Ive ever received! Ethan and Jacob handled all my questions and requests (which I had a lot of) with professionalism and care. I completely replaced the breaker panel and every light/outlet in my house among other issues, and they were in and out within days with 100% satisfaction. Not only this, but I had an emergency (leak into my drywall) issue that HAD to be taken care of during their work days as well as painters, but they worked around and together with everyone in a harmonious and efficient manner. The communication and professionalism was top notch. I really cant rate them high enough. I picked Luminous Electric based off high reviews and was not disappointed. Thank You!

After my home flooded during a hurricane, I was really worried about the integrity of my electrical system after multiple homes in my neighborhood burned down as a result of water getting into the electrical system. I called Luminous Electric after other recommended companies couldn’t get to me for “weeks”. They came out just a day or two later and had repair quotes before they left my home. They did a low medium and high option for different scopes of work and once I accepted the quote I felt comfortable with, they had the job completed the next day. I really appreciate their quick response as we try and rebuild our home from the water damage caused by Hurricane Idalia, they really helped us worry less about things that needed to be taken care of.

Very happy with the service. There was a little bit of a problem initially. I reached out to management to rectify it and they were great. Jesse handled the issue immediately with great service, you could tell he really cared about their work quality. The electrician came back out next day, was very nice to my grandmother and fixed the problem. I just say this part to let you know you have nothing to worry about. Even if you’re unhappy with something or they make a mistake, don’t just get mad, leave a bad review, or not use them again for future jobs. People make mistakes and they will take care of whatever they need to, just give them a call and a chance to fix anything you’re unhappy with, I promise you they will.

What can I tell you about Luminous Electric? Well out of all the places that I contacted they were the only one willing to come out the next day an estimate the work that was needed to be done. Kyle, Allen and the other gentleman that came were great all knew what they had to do to complete the job in a timely manner. I was very happy with the responsiveness level of professionalism and urgency that the job was given, as I have a family member who is eighty years old that lives with me who cant be in the heat for long. Overall I was happy with the service. The appointment was handled well and I did receive the call ahead and they arrived in the time scheduled. I thought the price was a little high for putting in a mounting box in the ceiling for a light (the wiring was already there and used to be a florescent tube light fixture). I also thought the box was small but it worked. I put in the new light fixture myself and everything was fine. Overall satisfied but I thought the price was a bit high.

Very professional. Originally booked online, but there was a timing issue. The office called and text my phone immediately and we set up a new appointment time. Was given a notice when the technician was on his way, and he showed up 5 minutes into his 2 hour window of the appointment time. Performed three different repairs to bring my home up to code, and quoted me on possible future upgrade jobs all in an hours time. Technician was very personable and easy to communicate with. Emailed me the invoice on work completed, and a separate email for quotes. Will definitely be using this company again in the future!

With the threat of Hurricane Dorian approaching, I was looking for someone to install a transfer switch for me. I got Luminous Electric as a referral from the BBB. Everything from the moment they contacted me til the job was completed was exceptional. I met with Dan who assessed the situation and gave me a great quote, with no pressure or hard sales tactics. He explained the need to hand the job off to another technician due to a time restraint and I was pleased with how well I was kept informed of everything that was happening. Joe came out to do the installation and was wonderful. He was courteous, professional, and knowledgeable....after installation he explained, to a very novice user, how everything worked which greatly alleviated my fears. During my first kitchen remodel, I had very little information on where I needed work done but I knew some loose measurements on cabinets. After getting 5 quotes, (2 higher, 2 lower) I decided to use Luminous Electric because of Mike and his customer service. Extremely impressed with this company! We called Luminous Electric for an install of a Hello Doorbell. Instead of cutting a hole into the wall of our living room to place the transformer required for the doorbell, Mike OFFERED to crawl underneath our home into the crawl space to place the required electrical components in the crawl space so as to not create any unnecessary damage to the interior of our home. I know for a fact 99% of electricians would have taken the easy (not to mention cleaner/cooler) way out and just cut the hole in the wall and I would not have known the difference. Not Mike. We just moved into an older house and they provided 6 estimates, ranging from what needed to be immediately, to what should be done ultimately. The main electrican who I worked with was Mike Tracy and he gets 2000 stars. He was very thorough and polite and explained everything to me. He noticed that some of my lights were wired with low voltage landscape wiring which could have caused a future hazard and gave me separate pricing for the initial job as well as some of my problem areas. Will came in to do the work and unfortunately I can’t give more than 5 stars but this guy was awesome. We live in a 2-story home and one of the rooms downstairs did not have a ceiling junction box for a fan/light. This was no easy task, especially in the location that we needed to mount our ceiling fan but Will re-ran all of my can lights with the proper wiring, re-wired my light panel, setup the junction box for my ceiling fan, and setup a whole-house surge protector. I had been having fluctuating voltage issues in my garage. Sometimes Id have power, other times, nothing. A washing machine, 3 lights, and a portable A/C unit were the items using the same 15amp circuit. I assumed I overloaded it, but only just started having issues, and never ran the washer and the A/C at the same time. I reached out to Angies list and Home Advisor and set up an appointment with Mr. Sparky to come out and diagnose the issue. The manager/owner came out and made the first diagnosis and said that he thought it was an issue with the 15amp breaker, and suggested I change from a 15 to 20amp (already had wiring for 20amp in garage). He sent out a few workers the next day and they finished the upgrade for $300, but before they even pulled away, the power went out again with only the washing machine running. Their guess was an issue with the line running from the panel underground to the garage. To run a new circuit for the washing machine, they gave a quote of $3000 (this would only take care of the washer, the other outlets, lights, and A/C unit would still be on the old wire, possibly having the same outage issues)... The quote was only $2000 if I dug the trench and crawled under the house to run the line myself. I reached out to Luminous electric for a second opinion. Im glad I did! Dan F. came out and performed a free panel inspection and went above and beyond asking questions and getting to the root of the problem. He noticed that there was a loose neutral wire in the panel for the garage circuit, which Mr. Sparky didnt even notice after having replaced the breaker! That wasnt the issue, and the diagnosis was the same, the line underground from the panel. However, his solution was to replace the line with a 12 3 underground wire that would allow me to have a dedicated 20 amp to one outlet for the washing machine and 20 amp for the remainder of the outlets. So unlike Mr. Sparky, who wanted to charge $2000 to fix half of the issue, Dans suggestion would fix the issue of having a bad wire, while simultaneously running a dedicated 20amp to the washer. The quote was under $500 if I trenched and ran the wire under the house myself (which at that point, I already trenched to inspect the faulty wire). The $2500 difference in price was WELL worth the 10 minutes under the house and 30 minutes of digging. If youre looking for a quality job from a company that will look out for you and your money, I would 100% recommend Luminous electric and Dan!

They managed to improve it by moving me from 20 breakers in use to 26, separating out some circuits. They really earned my respect on the day of installation. They were out of the panel I ordered but rather than reschedule they owned it and upgraded me to a larger panel at no cost.
