While I havent yet made a decision on a contractor, my experience with Nestor and Fast of Florida has exceeded my expectations.

Fast of florida was the A/C co many my apartment complex used to come out yesterday to fix our air conditioning. They replaced everything from the unit, the handler, and the thermostat. They were very professional, nice, and very knowledgeable in everything they were doing. I would definitely recommend their services to anyone.

Whenever they come by it tends to take 3 follow up visits to fix whatever happened. That said, they are good at being fair on pricing, and fixing problems till they are fixed. I know i can trust them to do the right thing, but some of the newer techs I think need more training before being sent out in the field.

He did a great job, and was very courteous. The only draw back was it was $766 to replace a small section of exposed PVC piping. I needed it done and he did the job right, but two other companies called later and the job should have been in the $200-400 price range not nearly $800 as it was such a simple fix with $20-50 worth of parts. So shop around.

Pros: They bid was good, they did good work and cleaned up after themselves.Cons: communication was never very good, they changed dates multiple times, changed who I was talking to multiple times. We had a near brand new Sensi thermostat, I knew they were going to remove it and asked them to put in the hvac closet when they were done. After they were finished it was gone, I called to ask about it and they said the technician would call me back. Never heard back and assume they threw it away. It was less than 30 days old, such a waste. I had another property I could have used it at. At 4 stars I feel I’m being generous, but overall I am happy with the work done.

Most every job on a 60+ year old house has challenges, but Mario never wavered in doing the job right. He didnt take any shortcuts and took the time to explain what was going on. Our refrigerator failed, and F of F sent a tech the same day. He diagnosed the problem within minutes of his arrival, but did not have the part for the 20yr old fridge. He placed our window box fan behind the appliance to cool the compressor. Then he located the part in Jacksonville, and said he would return 2 days later. The box fan worked great, and two days later at 930am Dan returned to complete the repair in 10 minutes. We cannot say enough about his professionalism, courtesy, concern, and ability to get the fridge cooling again while waiting for the part. Dan - customer service professional!UPDATE: Just had an HVAC maintenance check by Joe of FoF. He is a very polite and considerate professional that we will welcome into our home again when needed. Excellent explanation of our HVAC conditions with pictures from the roof.We have always had great service from FoF and Joe is an excellent member of their team! 5+ Stars!

Christopher was very efficient, hard working, and you can tell he really liked his job and valued his reputation! Service with a smile!!! I had difficulties changing an AC filter because the filter casing was too tight. I was so happy when he removed a couple of screws which solved the problem and now I can change it by myself. He also noticed a leak in our water heater that I was totally unaware of. He called and got a plumber from Fast to come over a couple hours later. He also checked the air handler and noticed bacteria growth. He suggested a strong UV light to get rid of it and prevent further growth. We were thankful he explained everything to us, and happy to have it installed for health reasons too! Thank you Christopher for doing a thorough job!!!

Shawn Smith was my technician.He was scheduled to install a new kitchen faucet as I’d been told by another plumber that my current one was not repairable. It was making a streaking sound. Shawn went out to his truck, brought in a tiny washer which he placed inside the faucet head. About 5 minutes and it works perfectly. Now I can return the new faucet I purchased at Lowe’s and save myself about $300. I highly recommend this company for their ethics. Will definitely call them again when needed!😊

My AC was out and my landlord contacted this company and paid the bill so I cant speak to the cost. But I can say that they responded very quickly and had a technician out the same day we called. Their communication with me with very professional, right down to an app to track where the technician was on his way to me.Herman Chunn was the technician and he was very professional. Even put booties on his shoes so he wouldnt get my floor dirty! He explained what he was doing to me, and put everything away neatly. Highly recommend, 5/5 stars.

They are quick to answer and accommodating in scheduling. The techs show up ON TIME which is unheard of and communicate prior to arrival. While at home, all they care about is taking care of the issues and pleasing the customer. They listen to you, don’t rush you and are super personable.
