I called STS for an emergency outage that comed wouldn’t help fix. The dispatcher was a wonderfully sweet woman who walked me through some self-service fixes via the phone (she even waiting on hold for quite a while as I found our buildings mechanical room) and helped me fix the issue without having to send someone. No charge; just extremely kind service. Would definitely recommend!

I feel completely safe with all the work that was done. My basement was out of lights and not in compliance with the panels. The men came repaired. They have been instrumental in updating / servicing our electrical wiring, circuit breaker panels, parking lot lighting as well assisting with inspection requirements for electrical items. Sam, the project manager is always accommodating and takes his time explaining what the problem is and discussing what options are available to address the issue. Every step of the way, he provides pictures and is in constant contact with the electricians he sends out and our management team. The Electricians are knowledgeable, hard working and precise. Ana, in the billing and scheduling department is always kind and willing to work with our budgetary and payment needs. They have been out here a few times and have done amazing work each time. This last time Sam replaced an outlet that had been wired incorrectly and had actually caught fire. He explained every thing he was doing, and the work is flawless. I can sleep better knowing it is now corrected.STS is the first company everyone should be looking at. I worked with STS Electric and they did a fantastic job--one of the best contractors that I have had the pleasure of working with.I had them add recess lighting in my home and change out some of the old fixtures in our home and add some sconces. They got the work done fast and clean. Their plans were flawless and well executed. They finished on schedule and within the budget outlined in their estimate. I worked with Tony specifically, and he was really professional, always returned my calls, and made sure that the work was done to the best possible standard.Im quite pleased with the work that they have done. The lighting in our home is much more attractive now. My wife complained of headaches before we got the overhead lighting, and she says that the recess lighting has improved things for her since she doesnt have ceiling fans and bright lamps shining in her eyes all of the time.I would definitely hire this company again for future projects.

I normally do not write reviews, but this is an exception I had to make because I had such low expectations prior to be calling this company. My experience at the time was I had been stood up by two different companies and I guess I figured I would have the same experience with this company, but boy was I wrong. I called and spoke to a pleasant woman who took down my information. The lights were flickering in the home and ConEd told me I had to hire an electrician to come out for that. The woman said she would have someone call me back and within 15 minutes I received a call from a woman asking me for more details. I shared my previous experiences with her and she sounded so empathetic and in fact sent a technician the same day. The service was affordable, the technician explained everything to me and was patient for the two thousand questions I had. I will definitely keep them on speed dial if I should have any electrical concerns in the future. I already gave this number to a couple of my neighbors that were looking for reputable electricians.

Power in 5 walls went out in the middle of the night. We tried tripping the breakers and no luck. We called STS Electric Service and Mike and George came out. They were very pleasant to deal with and explained everything as they went along. Mike found wiring burnt behind wall in the circuit and charred outlet behind my office table in study. Hey replaced all the wiring as needed and also fixed the drywall as they had to open some walls to replace the conduit. Very professional. All the drywall work was done perfectly… they just left for me to have it painted. Fixed and all power was ok. So thankful it did not cause a fire. Thank you Mike. I will call them again.

We called STS out of desperation at 11 pm when our smoke detector system was malfunctioning and setting off our Xfinity alarm. When we called, the alarm had triggered about 100 times. Sam called me back within 5 minutes and walked me through how to disable the non-Xfinity system, which was causing the issue. He stayed on the phone with me for several minutes to ensure the alarm did not trigger again, and he offered to have me call him for the next few hours of the problem continues. Sam was super friendly and helpful.

Alex and his crew were fantastic. We had some major electrical issues at our building. We have 200 units in the building and had multiple electrical shorts in 4 units. Our regular electricians, STS Electric, were dispatched immediately. When they arrived, they started working on the problem right away and assured our unit residents that power will be back the same day. They fixed the electrical issues and all residents were very happy with their work and how they clean up behind themselves. Since I am the property Manager, I have to make sure the contractors I hire are top notch and always deliver services on time.

STS Electric did an amazing job on my new house as well as many past smaller projects. I have used them for years on everything from a ceiling fan replacement to rewiring an old apartment that had cloth wires to my recent gut rehab. This job is now my home and I love the work they did. They are always very precise when it concerns the details of placement of the lights as I am very particular and they understand and make it exact.I am mostly a DIY guy who grew up in the construction industry but I usually dont do bigger electric jobs out of safety concern and my inexperience with the code. I cannot rate them highly enough when it comes to professionalism and workmanship. They are responsive, punctual and clean up after themselves. I have recommended them dozens of times.
